Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the application of teaching materials based on local wisdom on activities, learning outcomes, and student responses. The research sample were 33 of fourth grade students of SD Negeri 1 Pasar Krui. Sample selection using Total Sampling technique. The data of this research are pretest, posttest, activity observation sheet and student response questionnaire. The research design was one group pretest-posttest. The research data was analyzed descriptively. The results showed that, the average percentage of n-Gain was 0.714 with high criteria. The highest activity was on the aspect of paying attention to the teacher's explanation, the average percentage of 88.50 criteria was very good, the lowest activity in the aspect of maintaining opinion an average percentage of 49.74 was sufficient criteria. The highest student response questionnaire was on the aspect of the performance that was 84.84 with very good criteria. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas penerapan bahan ajar berbasis kearifan lokal terhadap aktivitas, hasil belajar, dan tanggapan siswa. Sampel penelitian yaitu siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 1 Pasar Krui berjumlah 33 siswa. Pemilihan sampel menggunakan teknik Total Sampling. Data penelitian ini yaitu nilai pretes, postes, lembar observasi aktivitas dan angket tanggapan siswa. Desain penelitian yaitu one grup pretest-postest. Data penelitian di analisis secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa, persentase rata-rata n-Gain 0,714 kriteria tinggi. Aktivitas paling tinggi terdapat pada aspek memperhatikan penjelasan guru rata-rata persentase 88,50 kriteria sangat baik, aktivitas paling rendah pada aspek mempertahankan pendapat rata-rata persentase 49,74 kriteria cukup. Angket tanggapan siswa paling tinggi terdapat pada aspek tampilan yaitu 84,84 kriteria sangat baik.Kata kunci: aktivitas peserta didik, bahan ajar, hasil belajar, kearifan lokal

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to analyze the implementation and problem of practical in life organization material. Samples in this research were VII grade teachers science whom implemented practical work, chosen by purposive sampling. Research design was Expository. This research used qualitative approach and descriptive data. Data collecting technique used questionnaires, interview, and observation, and then the data were analyzed by using of Miles and Huberman model. The result showed that the implementation of practical work in life organization subjects by teachers and students in Langkapura was very good criteria. Implementation steps in life organization subject by teachers and students in Langkapura the criteria was good. Problems of practical work of life organization subject were limitation on the equipment that used in practical work, such as dissection tool, light microscope, medium, and cloroform.Tujuan penelitian ini menganalisis pelaksanaan dan permasalahan praktikum materi organisasi kehidupan. Sampel penelitian ini guru IPA yang mengajar di kelas VII dan melaksanakan kegiatan praktikum, dipilih dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Desain penelitian ini adalah riset ekploratori. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan data berupa deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian menggunakan angket, wawancara, dan observasi, data dianalisis dengan model Miles dan Huberman. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa pelaksanaan praktikum materi organisasi kehidupan menurut guru dan siswa di Kecamatan Langkapura mendapat kriteria sangat baik. Tahapan pelaksanaan praktikum yang dilakukan oleh guru dan siswa mendapat kriteria baik. Permasalahan pada pelaksanaan praktikum materi organisasi kehidupan adalah keterbatasan alat yang digunakan untuk kegiatan praktikum, seperti alat bedah, mikroskop cahaya, medium, dan kloroform.Kata kunci: organisasi kehidupan, pelaksanaan praktikum, permasalahan praktikum

Abstract

This research aims was to determine the effect of PBL on metacognition skills and learning outcomes. The design was a nonequivalent pretest-posttest control group design. The research sample were the students of VIIA and VIIC amounted of 60 students that were selected through cluster random sampling technique. Data on metacognition skills wereobtained from questionnaires and data on learning outcomes obtained from pretest and posttest. Data on metacognition skills were analyzed descriptively while learning outcomes were analyzed by Independent Sample t-Test at 5% confidence level. The results showed that the experimental class metacognition skills were higher with the criteria of "developing very well" compared to the control class which had the criteria "already developed". The cognitive learning outcomes of the experimental class were also higher than the control class with the average N-gain in the experimental class of (0.39 ± 0.124) while in the control class (0.29 ± 0.157).Penelitian ini bertujuan menentukan pengaruh PBL terhadap keterampilan metakognisi dan hasil belajar peserta didik. Penelitian ini menggunakan nonequivalent pretest-posttest control group design. Sampel penelitian adalah peserta didik kelas VIIA dan VIIC berjumlah 60 peserta didik dan dipilih melalui teknik cluster random sampling. Data keterampilan metakognisi diperoleh dari angket dan data hasil belajar diperoleh dari pretest dan posttest. Data keterampilan metakognisi dianalisis secara deskriptif sedangkan hasil belajar dianalisis dengan uji Independent Sample t-Test pada taraf kepercayaan 5%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keterampilan metakognisi kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi dengan kriteria “berkembang sangat baik” dibandingkan dengan kelas kontrol yang memiliki kriteria “sudah berkembang”. Hasil belajar kognitif kelas eksperimen juga lebih tinggi daripada kelas kontrol dengan rata-rata N-gain pada kelas eksperimen sebesar (0,39 ± 0,124) sedangkan pada kelas kontrol (0,29 ± 0.157).  Kata kunci: Hasil belajar, keterampilan metakognisi,PBL

Abstract

This study aims was to measure science teachers in Labuhan Maringgai sub-district in planning and implementing the assesement. The samples of this research were 30 science teachers of SMP in Labuhan Maringgai sub-district. Qualitative data was analyzed by descriptive statistic technique. The results showed that the average of science teachers difficulties in planning and implementing assesement was sufficient. The highest percentage that caused teachers difficulties in planning assesement was pinning the learning objectives. While the problems that caused difficulties in conducting assesement were implementing affective domain assesement, especially in observing aspects and conditioning the assesement implementation. It can be concluded that the difficulties of science teachers in Junior High School in Labuhan Maringgai District in planning assesement had difficulty in determining assesement techniques and determining the form of assesement. The difficulty of assesement implementation was implementing the affective domain assesement, that domain can not be measured because the attitude and character of learners at any time may change.Penelitian ini bertujuan mengidentifikasi kesulitan guru IPA se-Kecamatan Labuhan Maringgai dalam merencanakan dan melaksanakan asesmen. Sampel penelitian adalah 30 guru IPA SMP se-Kecamatan Labuhan Maringgai. Data kualitatif dianalisis dengan menggunakan teknik statistik deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata kesulitan yang dialami guru IPA dalam merencanakan dan melaksanakan asesmen tergolong cukup. Persentase tertinggi yang menyebabkan guru kesulitan dalam merencanakan asesmen adalah menetapkan tujuan pembelajaran. Sedangkan persentase tertinggi yang menyebabkan guru kesulitan dalam melaksanakan asesmen adalah dalam pelaksanaan asesmen ranah afektif, terutama dalam mengamati aspek sikap dan mengkondisikan pelaksanaan asesmen. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa kesulitan guru IPA SMP se-Kecamatan Labuhan Maringgai dalam merencanakan asesmen yaitu dalam menentukan teknik asesmen dan menentukan bentuk asesmen. Kesulitan dalam melaksanakan asesmen yaitu pada ranah afektif, ranah tersebut tidak dapat diukur karena sikap dan karakter peserta didik sewaktu-waktu dapat berubah.Kata kunci: asesmen, guru IPA, kesulitan, melaksanakan, merencanakan

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effectiveness of seating formation towards students learning outcomes on interaction between organisms and their environment subject in junior high school 4 Pringsewu. The research design was pretest-posttest non-equivalent groups. The population were all VII grades students and samples were VII1, VII2, and VII3 grades student which were selected by purposive sampling. This research data were the result of students learning obtained through pretest-posttest, students self assessment affective aspects and students psychomotor aspects observation sheets. Cognitive aspects data were analyzed by One-Way Anova test and t-test. The data of affective and psychomotor aspects were analyzed using Qualitative Achievement Index and calculated score improvement. The results showed that the experimental class I had N-gain and the highest score improvement each aspect. So, there were differences in the effectiveness of the three seating formations towards students learning outcomes.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas formasi tempat duduk terhadap hasil belajar siswa materi interaksi antar makhluk hidup dan lingkungannya di SMPN 4 Pringsewu. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain pretes-postes non- ekuivalen. Populasi penelitian ini seluruh siswa kelas VII dan sample terpilih siswa kelas VII1, VII2, dan VII3 yang diambil dengan teknik purposive sampling. Data penelitian berupa hasil belajar siswa yang diperoleh melalui pretes-postes, lembar penilaian diri afektif dan lembar pengamatan psikomotorik. Data aspek kognitif dianalisis dengan uji One-Way Anova dan uji t. Data aspek afektif dan psikomotorik dianalisis menggunakan Indeks Prestasi Kualitatif serta dihitung peningkatan nilainya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kelas eksperimen I memiliki N-gain dan peningkatan nilai tertinggi pada setiap aspek. Jadi, terdapat perbedaan efektivitas dari ketiga formasi tempat duduk terhadap hasil belajar siswa.Kata kunci: efektivitas, formasi tempat duduk, hasil belajar, interaksi antar makhluk hidup dan lingkungannya

Abstract

This study aims were to determine  significant effect of vertical garden toward air humidity on classroom and to find out the characteristics of student worksheet with global warming material in VII grade of junior high school applied using vertical garden. Data were analyzed statistically by independent test. The results showed that there was a significant effect of the used ofvertical garden toward air humidity of the classroom with a significant value of 0,000. While, the results of the validation test for student worksheets which were  based on professional validation and practitioner validation had thecategory of "very good" so it can be declared as "valid".Keywords: air humidity, student worksheet, vertical garden Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui  pengaruh yang signifikan dari penggunaan vertical garden terhadap kelembaban udara ruang kelas dan karakteristik Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik (LKPD) SMP kelas VII materi pemanasan global yang diaplikasikan menggunakan vertical garden. Data dianalisis secara statistik dengan uji independent test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa adanya pengaruh yang signifikan dari penggunaan vertical garden terhadap kelembaban udara ruang kelas dengan nilai signifikan 0.000. Sedangkan hasil uji validasi Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik (LKPD) yang dikembangkan berdasarkan validasi ahli maupun validasi praktisi memperoleh kategori “sangat baik” sehingga dapat dinyatakan “valid”.Kata kunci: kelembaban udara, LKPD, vertical garden

Abstract

This study aims were determine the profile and pattern of students cooperation ability in Science Learning on IV grade and V grade studebts. The subject in this research were 56 students from IV and V grade that were selected by using saturated sampling techniqui. The qualitative data were descriptions of the abilities and pattern of students cooperation that were obtained from students questionnaire and observation sheets that calculated the percentages and interpreted into criterias. The results showed that generaly the students cooperation ability in science learning was "high" criteria with a percentage of 70%, which the highest aspects of cooperation ability was "discipline". While the cooperation pattern performed by students were spontaneous, contracts, and traditional. The most dominan cooperation pattern was contract cooperation that was performed by four groups.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui profil dan pola kemampuan kerjasama siswa dalam pembelajaran IPA pada siswa kelas IV dan kelas V. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV dan kelas V yang berjumlah 56 siswa dipilih menggunakan teknik sampling jenuh. Data kualitatif berupa deskripsi kemampuan dan pola kerjasama siswa yang diperoleh dari angket dan lembar observasi dengan menghitung persentase dan diinterpretasikan kedalam kriteria. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara umum kemampuan kerjasama siswa dalam pembelajaran IPA termasuk dalam kriteria tinggi dengan persentase 70%, dimana aspek kemampuan kerjasama yang tertinggi yaitu disiplin. Pola kerjasama yang terbentuk pada siswa yaitu spontan, langsung, kontrak, dan tradisional. Pola kerjasama yang paling dominan yaitu pola kerjasama kontrak yang dilakukan oleh empat kelompok.Kata kunci: kemampuan kerjasama, pembelajaran IPA, pola kerjasama
