Abstract

This study aim was to describe the conformity level of Plant Classification materials on biology textbooks with basic competence from aspect material breadth and depth. This research was a qualitative research using documentation study. The samples was used A book and B book. The instrument of this research was the material conformity sheet in terms of the material breadth and depth. Data collection through documentation study by analyzing content of material. The data of this research were analyzed descriptively qualitative. The result of the conformity analysis of book material A and B in terms of the breadth of material shows the category "very fit" with 100% percentage. Meanwhile, depth aspect in book A shows the "appropriate" category with percentage of 67% and in book B showed  the category "less appropriate" with 50% percentage. Thus, the contentness of the material in book A was higher in terms of breadth and depth of material compared with book BPenelitian bertujuan mendeskripsikan tingkat kesesuaian materi Klasifikasi Tumbuhan pada buku teks dengan kompetensi dasar ditinjau dari aspek keluasan dan kedalaman materi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif menggunakan studi dokumentasi. Sampel penelitian adalah buku A dan buku B. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan lembar kesesuaian materi ditinjau dari apek keluasan dan kedalaman materi. Pengumpulan data melalui studi dokumentasi dengan menganalisis isi materi buku teks. Data penelitian dianalisis secara deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil analisis kesesuaian materi pada buku A dan B ditinjau dari aspek keluasan materi menunjukkan kategori “sangat sesuai” dengan persentase 100%. Sementara, dari aspek kedalaman pada buku A menunjukkan kategori “sesuai” dengan persentase 67% dan buku B menunjukkan kategori “kurang sesuai” dengan persentase 50%. Dengan demikian, kesesuian materi pada buku A lebih tinggi dilihat dari segi keluasan dan kedalaman materi dibandingkan dengan buku B.Kata kunci: kedalaman materi, keluasan materi, klasifikasi tumbuhan

Abstract

This study aimed to find out the effect of Driven Inquiry (ADI) Learning Model, gender, and the interaction between learning models and gender on the students argumentation skills. The population was students of class VIII SMP 15 Bandar Lampung City totaling 352 students. The samples were students of class VIII A as class of ADI and VIII B as guided inquiry which were selected from the population by cluster random sampling technique. The study was quasi-experimental with Pre-test Post-test Non Equivalent Control Group Design. The data is taken from pre-test and post-test argumentation skill question test in essay form. The data were statistically analyzed using Ancova test and LSD. The results showed that the learning ADI model and gender differences significally influenced argumentation skilld with significant value of each were 0,000 dan 0,000. The mean value of the argumentation skills of students who use the ADI model is higher than the guided inkuiry model, the value of female is higher than male. While interaction between the ADI model and gender differences does not have significant effect on argumentation skills with a significant value of 0,961.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui signifikansi pengaruh penggunaan model pembelajaran Argument-Driven Inquiry (ADI), gender, dan interaksi antara model pembelajaran dengan gender terhadap keterampilan argumentasi siswa. Populasi penelitian adalah siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 15 Bandar Lampung sejumlah 352 siswa. Sampel penelitian adalah siswa kelas VIII A sebagai kelas ADI dan VIII B sebagai kelas inkuiri terbimbing yang dipilih dari populasi dengan teknik cluster random sampling. Penelitian ini merupakan kuasi eksperimen dengan Pre-test Post-test Non Equivalent Control Design. Data diambil dari nilai pretes dan postes keterampilan argumentasi dengan soal berbentuk esai. Data dianalisis secara statistik dengan uji Ankova dan uji BNT. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran ADI dan gender berpengaruh signifikan terhadap keterampilan argumentasi dengan nilai signifikansi masing-masing adalah 0,000 dan 0,000. Rerata nilai keterampilan argumentasi siswa yang menggunakan model ADI lebih tinggi daripada siswa yang menggunakan model inkuiri terbimbing, nilai siswa perempuan lebih tinggi daripada siswa laki-laki. Sementara, interaksi antara model ADI dengan gender tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap keterampilan argumentasi dengan nilai signifikansi 0,961.Kata kunci: argument-driven inquiry, gender, keterampilan argumentasi

Abstract

This study aims to determine the difference between Outdoor Study and Indoor Study learning on student learning outcomes and find out which learning between Outdoor Study and Indoor Study can improved student learning outcomes. This study used a non-equivalent pretest-posttest control group design. The study samples were 64 students of VII A and VII B classes that were selected by cluster random samplinng technique. Learning outcomes data were obtained using the pretest and posttest values. Data analysis used the independent sample t-test at a confidence level 5%. Based on the hypothesis test it can be concluded that there were differences in learning outcomes between Outdoor Study and Indoor Study learning. Outdoor Study Learning was better on increasing student learning outcomes with higher average learning outcomes compared with Indoor Study. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan antara pembelajaran Outdoor Study dan Indoor Study terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik serta mengetahui pembelajaran manakah antara Outdoor Study dan Indoor Study yang mampu meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain non equivalent pretest-posttest control group design. Sampel penelitian adalah peserta didik kelas VIIA dan VIIB yang berjumlah 64 dan dipilih dengan teknik cluster random sampling. Data hasil belajar diperoleh menggunakan nilai pretest dan posttest. Analisis data menggunakan uji independent sample t-test pada taraf kepercayaan 5%. Berdasarkan uji hipotesis dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapaat perbedaan hasil belajar antara pembelajaran Outdoor Study dan Indoor Study. Pembelajaran Outdoor Study lebih mampu meningkaatkan hasil belajar peserta didik dengan rata-rata hasil belajar lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan Indoor Study. Kata kunci: indoor study,outdoor study, hasil belajar

Abstract

AbstrakPengembangan profesionalitas guru terutama harus didasarkan pada kebutuhan individu guru itu sendiri, selain kebutuhan institusi dan kelompok guru. Selama ini terindikasi bahwa guru terutama pada jenjang SMP/MTs mengalami kendala dalam menyusun program pembelajaran berbasis pendekatan saintifik, apalagi dalam mengimplementasikannya. Kegiatan Pelaksanaan Iptek bagi Masyarakat (IbM) telah diselenggarakan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan guru-guru IPA SMP di Kabupten Lampung Selatan dalam mengembangkan bahan ajar berbasis pendekatan saintifik dengan model pembelajaran Argument-Driven Inquiry (ADI). Dosen sebagai nara sumber sekaligus pakar pendidikan dalam sistem pembinaan profesional guru mengkoordinir pelaksanaan program dan implementasinya. Hasil kegiatan IbM ini menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman guru tentang perancangan bahan ajar IPA SMP berbasis pendekatan saintifik dengan model pembelajaran argument-driven inquiry. Keterampilan guru meningkat terutama dalam menyusun Lembar Kerja Siswa (LKS) IPA SMP berbasis pendekatan saintifik dengan model ADI. Dengan demikian, kegiatan pengabdian yang dilakukan telah berjalan secara efektif dan sesuai dengan hasil yang diharapkan. Kata Kunci: argument-driven inquiry; pendekatan saintifik; profesionalitas AbstractThe development of teacher professionalism must primarily be based on the individual needs of the teacher himself, in addition to the needs of the institution and group of teachers. So far, it has been indicated that teachers, especially at the SMP/MTs level, have problems in developing a scientific approach based learning program, especially in implementing it. The implementation of Science and Technology for Society (IbM) has been held to improve the understanding and skills of junior high school science teachers at South Lampung in developing teaching material based on scientific approach with the Argument-Driven Inquiry learning model. Lecturers as resource persons and education experts in the development of teacher professionalism coordinate the implementation of the program and its implementation. The results of the implementation this IbM indicate an increase in teacher understanding of the design of junior high school science teaching materials based on the scientific approach with the Argument-Driven Inquiry learning model. Teacher skills are improved, especially in compiling a Science Worksheet for Students in a Junior High School based on a scientific approach with argumentation. Abstract

The research aimed to know the effect of Problem-Based Learning model supported by problem card media on cognitive learning outcomes and environmental care attitude of the TNWK by students of SMPN 1 Labuhan Ratu. The research design used in this study is the non-equivalent control group design. The research took sample of 60 students consisting of class VII 5 as a control class and VII 6 as an experimental class with cluster random sampling technique. The type of data in this research is quantitative data in the form of score on students’ cognitive learning outcomes and environmental care attitude of the TNWK. The data were obtained from environmental pollution questions and attitude questionnaires were analysed using the Independent Sample T-test. The results showed that at the 5% significance level, the Sig. score was obtained (2-tailed) 0,0000,05 for cognitive learning outcomes and 0,0040,05 for environmental care attitude. So it can be concluded that there is a significant effect of Problem-Based Learning model supported by problem card media on cognitive learning outcomes and environmental care attitude of the TNWK.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk megetahui pengaruh model Problem-Based Learning berbantu media problem card terhadap hasil belajar kognitif dan sikap peduli TNWK peserta didik SMPN 1 Labuhan Ratu. Desain penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah non-equivalent control group design. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 60 peserta didik yang terdiri dari kelas VII 5 sebagai kelas kontrol dan VII 6 sebagai kelas eksperimen dengan teknik pengambilan sampel cluster radom sampling. Jenis data dalam penelitian ini yaitu kuantitatif berupa nilai hasil belajar kognitif dan nilai sikap peduli TNWK. Data diperoleh dari tes materi pencemaran lingkungan dan angket sikap yang dianalisis secara statistik menggunakan uji Independent Sample T-test. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa pada taraf signifikasi 5% didapatkan nilai Sig. (2-tailed) 0,0000,05 untuk hasil belajar kognitif dan 0,0040,05 untuk sikap peduli TNWK. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan penerapan model Problem-Based Learning berbantu media Problem card terhadap hasil belajar kognitif dan sikap peduli TNWK.Kata kunci: hasil belajar kognitif, problem-based learning, problem card, sikap peduli DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.23960/jbt.v10i2.25331

Abstract

This study aims to develop student worksheets, and to know the effectiveness of thematic based LKS through Inquiry model for fourth grade students of Elementary School I Pinang Jaya. This type of research is research and development (R & D) which refers to Borg & Gall's theory. The population of this research were all fourth grade students of SDN Kemiling Cluster 1 and the samples were 54 students obtained by multistage random samplin technique. Data collection techniques use learning and observation tests. Data analysis technique is done through quantitative analysis for product development that is effectiveness test used N-gain and t test. The results of this study indicate that the developed LKS feasible to be used and effective through experts from material experts and media experts in improving student learning outcomes.
