Abstract

Salah satu dampak dari Covid-19 terhadap pendidikan di dunia adalah sekolah, madrasah, pondok pesantren, dan universitas ditutup secara luas. UNESCO pada 4 Maret 2020 menyarankan dilaksanakan pembelajaran daring/jarak jauh dan membuka platform pendidikan yang mampu dijangkau oleh peserta didik. Hal ini memerlukan kemampuan yang yang sesuai, salah satunya adalah penggunaan aplikasi tangkap layar (screen recorder) pada sistem wondows. Untuk itu diperlukan pelatihan bagi guru-guru yang belum mempunyai kemmapuan tersebut guna membantu pembelajaran yang dilakukan selama masa pandemic.Pelatihan ini dilakukan ke 25 orang guru MGMP Kimia Kota Surabaya dengan beberapa tahapan, yaitu pelatihan daring melalui zoom, diskusi daring melalui zoom dan WAG, serta pengumpulan tugas.Dari pelatihan yang dilakukan diperoleh informasi pemahaman dan kemampuan guru yang sangat baik jika dilihat dari hasil tugas yang dikumpulkan. Dari respon peserta diperoleh informasi bahwa 80% peserta merasa mudah dalam membuat video dengan cara Windows+G, 93,3% berencana menggunakannya untuk membuat video, dan 100% peserta akan menularkan hasil pelatihannya ke rekan kerja yang lain. Data lain yang diperoleh adalah diperoleh persentase skor 86,7% terhadap kemenarikan materi pelatihan; persentase skor 91,1% terhadap kompetensi narasumber, persentase skor 84,4% terhadap durasi waktu  pelatihan; dan persentase skor 93,3% terhadap kesesuaian materi terhadap tugas guru di sekolah.Kata kunci : pelatihan media video, windows+g, guru MGMP kimia

Abstract

Virus Corona ini telah melanda sekitar 152 negara di dunia yang tersebar di semua benua termasuk negara Indonesia. Propinsi Jawa Timur menempati urutan tertinggi jumlah positip Covid 19 dan dikategorikan dalam zona merah di 32 kota dan kabupaten termasuk Tuban. Pencegahan penyebaran virus corona dapat dilakukan dengan cara menjaga jarak aman, menggunakan masker dan mencuci tangan dengan air mengalir atau menggunakan sabun. Sabun cuci tangan mengandung bahan antiseptic yang dapat membunuh virus. Universitas Negeri Surabaya mempunyai potensi dosen-dosen yang mempunyai kemampuan untuk membuat sabun cuci tangan. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk membuat sabun cuci tangan untuk memutus rantai penyebaran Covid 19 khususnya di Kabupaten Tuban. Telah berhasil memproduksi sabun cuci tangan kemasan 500 mL sebanyak 500 buah dan telah diserahkan ke Kabupaten Tuban melalui Unit Crisis Center Unesa. Bantuan diterima oleh Bupati Tuban dan didistribusikan ke masyarakat Tuban yang membutuhkan. Kata Kunci: sabun cuci tangan, Covid-19, Tuban

Abstract

The purpose of this development research was to describe the feasibility of student worksheet to improve students scientific literacy skills on the reaction rate material in terms of aspects of validity, practicality, and effectiveness. The research method refers to the 4-D development model by Thiagarajan which is limited to the develop stage with limited trials to students of class XI science at SMA Negeri 1 Gedangan as many as 30 students. The results of data analysis showed that the feasibility of LKPD from the aspect of validity seen from 4 criteria, namely content, presentation, language, and graphics, the percentage was 93.72%; 93.33%; 90.28%; and 92.78% with very valid criteria. The practicality of LKPD seen from the observation of activities and student response questionnaires obtained a percentage of 98.69% and 95.91% on very practical criteria. The effectiveness of the LKPD is seen from the results of the students pretest and posttest, namely cognitive tests and tests of scientific literacy skills which showed an increase with N-Gain scores of 0.67 and 0.60 in the medium category, respectively. LKPD to improve proper scientific literacy skills is very important to be developed as a learning resource so that it makes the learning process of students meaningful.

Abstract

Abstract. This study aims to determine the validity, practicality, and effectiveness of teaching materials based on science process skills in hydrocarbon compound material for vocational students. This type of research is development research using 4-D models proposed by Thiagarajan. The targets of this study were 34 students of class XI SMK Negeri 5 Surabaya. The data obtained were analyzed using quantitative analysis methods. The results of the study concluded that science-based teaching skills on the material process of hydrocarbon compounds were declared valid with an average percentage value of 78.00%, expressed very practical with an average percentage interpretation value of 95.15%, and declared effective based on the results of the gain score test which states an increase in science process skills and completeness of student learning outcomes. Keywords: teaching materials, science process skills, hydrocarbon.

Abstract

The goal of this study was to find out the eligibility of science literacy-based student worksheets to improve learners critical thinking skills on acid-base materials. The eligibility of the developed science literacy-based student worksheets viewed from validity, practicality, and effectiveness. This type of study uses Research and Development (R&D) with a 4D research model. This study model consists of the define, design, and limited to develop stages. The validity of science literacy-based student worksheets based on content criteria obtained a percentage of 37.50% (valid) with mode 3 and 62.50% (very valid) with mode 4. On the construction criteria, obtain a percentage of 15.15% (valid) in mode 3 and 84.85% (very valid) in mode 4. The practicality of the student worksheet was viewed from the responses and observations of learner activities, which earned a percentage of 97.10% and 90% with very practical criteria. The effectiveness of the student worksheet received highly effective criteria viewed from the N-gain score of science literacy of 0.75 (high), and critical thinking skills obtained a N-gain score of 0.71 (high). This is corroborated by the Wilcoxon statistical test of science literacy and critical thinking skills, which revealed a disparity between learners' capability for science literacy and critical thinking skills prior to and following the use of science literacy-based student worksheets, with a sig. (2-tailed) of 0.000. The Spearman correlation test resulted in a correlation coefficient of 0.754, indicating a significant association between science literacy and critical thinking skills, with a classical completeness of 89%. So, based on this research, science literacy-based student worksheets are declared eligible to improve learners thinking skills.

Abstract

The Merdeka Curriculum is adaptive and focuses on developing the character of the Pancasila Student Profile, one of which is critical thinking. This study aims to describe the feasibility of products, including the validity, practicality, and effectiveness of Nature of Science (NoS)-based e-LKPD on chemical bond materials. NoS learning has 6 pedagogical practices, namely background readings, case study discussions, inquiry lessons, inquiry labs, historical studies, and multiple assessments. Indicators of critical thinking skills trained in this study are analysis, explanation, and evaluation. This type of research is R&D research with 4D methods (Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate), only up to the development stage but still tested on a limited basis. The results of the validity of the contents and constructs obtained were 98.70% and 99.26%, with very valid categories. The results of the practicality received a score of 94.95% in the very practical category. In terms of effectiveness, the average n-gain score of learning outcomes was obtained, the components of critical thinking skills in the analysis, evaluation, and explanation of students were 0.62, 0.54, 0.46, and 0.55 in the medium category. The n-gain score is obtained ≥ 0.3, so e-LKPD is effectively used to train students' critical thinking skills. It can be concluded that the developed e-LKPD is feasible for use.

Abstract

Improving Science Process Skills And Collaboration On The Lesson On Reaction Rate Using Electronic Student Worksheet Assisted With Liveworksheets Website This study aimed to assess the feasibility of the usage of electronic student worksheets assisted with liveworksheets website to improve science process skills and collaboration on the lesson on reaction rate in terms of validity, practicality, and effectivity. The present study utilized the Analysis-Design-Development-Implementation-Evaluation (ADDIE) development model. Data collected were through interviews, questionnaires, observations, and tests. Data analysis methods used in this study comprised both qualitative and quantitative analysis techniques. Qualitative analysis techniques were carried out descriptively, while quantitative analysis techniques were performed by percentage analysis, normality test (one sample Shapiro-Wilk test), paired sample t-test, and n-gain analysis. The validity test showed an average percentage of 87% with very valid criteria. The practicality test included the results of student responses according to questionnaires and observations of student activities, and the results are an average percentage of 92% and 100%, respectively, which are categorized as very good. The effectivity test comprised the results of the pretest-posttest cognitive and science process skills. The results of the n-gains are 0,46 and 0,61, respectively, with moderate criteria, while the results of questionnaires and observation of collaboration skills are an average percentage of 94% and 83%, respectively, with very good criteria. Electronic student worksheets assisted with liveworksheets website to improve science process skills and collaboration is essential to be developed as an effort to train 21st-century skills.
