Abstract

Abstract: This research was aimed to know: (1) which gave achievement and motivation to do better, students who were subjected to cooperative models of NHT, TPS, or Conventional and students with high, medium, or low emotional intelligence; (2) on each model of learning and at each category of emotional intelligence which provided achievement and motivation to do better. The  population was all the students of  VII grade of Junior High Schools in Surakarta year of 2013/2014 and obtained a sample of  266 students. The instruments used was achievement test, motivation, and emotional intelligence questionnaire. Test requirements analysis included a multivariate normality and the variance-covariance homogeneity test. Balance test used a unbalanced one way multivariate and hypothesis testing used unbalanced two way multivariate. The results of research were: (1a) students subjected to NHT gave as good as the achievement of TPS but better than Conventional, and TPS provided a better achievement than Conventional. As well students subjected to NHT, TPS, and Conventional gave the same motivation, (1b) students with high emotional intelligence provided as good learning achievement as the students with moderate and low emotional intelligence. As well students who have high emotional intelligence gave better motivation than medium or low emotional intelligence but students with medium emotional intelligence provided as good  motivation as the students with low emotional intelligence; (2ai) in each learning model, students with high, medium, and low emotional intelligence gave the same achievement, (2aii) in NHT model, students with high emotional intelligence gave as good as the motivation of students with medium emotional intelligence. As well students with high and medium emotional intelligence gave motivation better than low emotional intelligence, (2aiii) in TPS model, students with high emotional intelligence gave motivation better than medium and low emotional intelligence but students with medium emotional intelligence gave as good motivation as students with low emotional intelligence, (2aiv) in Conventional model, students with high, medium, and low emotional intelligence gave the same motivation, (2bi) in each category of emotional intelligence, NHT gave as good as the achievement of TPS, but NHT and TPS gave better achievement than Conventional, (2bii) at high emotional intelligence, students subjected to NHT gave as good as the motivation of TPS, but NHT and TPS better than Conventional, (2biii) at medium and low emotional intelligence, students subjected to NHT, TPS, and Conventional gave the same motivation.Keywords: NHT, TPS, emotional intelligence, learning achievement and achievement motivation

Abstract

R&D ini bertujuan menghasilkan e-modul interaktif materi lingkaran berbasis RME berbantuan Geogebra yang telah divalidasi isi dan konstruk, serta untuk mengetahui efektivitas penggunaan e-modul interaktif yang dikembangkan ini. Observasi dilakukan di SMA Ya Bakki Kesugihan Cilacap sebagai tempat penelitian. Subjek penelitian yang dilibatkan dalam penelitian ini antara lain guru dan siswa SMA kelas XI, ahli bahasa, ahli media, dan ahli materi. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan dalam pengambilan data berupa wawancara, angket kualitas e-modul dan tes prestasi belajar untuk melihat keefektifan e-modul yang dikembangkan. Diperoleh hasil bahwa nilai dari ahli media, ahli materi, ahli bahasa pada setiap aspeknya memberikan kriteria baik berdasarkan penilaian ideal. Sedangkan persentase nilai angket uji coba e-modul oleh guru dan respon siswa terhadap e-modul sebesar 90% dan 89%. Dengan demikian e-modul yang dikembangkan ini layak/valid untuk digunakan. Selanjutnya hasil uji hipotesis Paired T-Test (pre-test dan post-test) yang sebelumnya dilakukan uji Kolmogorov-Smirnov sebagai prasyarat uji hipotesis didapat nilai Sig. sebesar 0,033<0,05, disimpulkan bahwa H0 ditolak yang berarti bahwa pembelajaran menggunakan e-modul interaktif ini memberikan hasil belajar yang lebih baik. Research and Development intended to produce an interactive electronic module (e-module) with RME and used Geogebra application on circle material that validated content and constructs, and to know the effectiveness of using the developed an interactive e-module. Observations were do at SMA Ya Bakki Kesugihan Cilacap as research places. The subject of research are the teachers, students of High School class XI, linguist, media and material expert. The instrument of research used in data collection in the form of interviews, e-module quality questionnaires, and achievement test. The result show that the scores of media, linguist, and material expert in each aspect provide good criteria based on ideal assessment. While the percentage of questionnaires values by the teacher and student responses to the e-module was 90% and 89%. Therefore, the e-module valid for use. Furthermore, the results of the Paired T (pre-test and post-test) hypothesis test were previously Kolmogorov-Smirnov normality test as a prerequisite for the hypothesis test obtained significant score of 0.033<0.05, it was concluded that H0 was rejected which means that learning used this interactive e-module provides better learning outcomes.

Abstract

 Penelitian ini mempunyai tujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh self esteem siswa terhadap kemampuan komunikasi matematika dan bagaimana hubungannya. Diambil sampel 40 siswa kelas XI dari SMA Ya Bakki Kesugihan Cilacap 2019/2020. Instrumen tes komunikasi matematika dan angket self esteem diberikan kepada siswa yang sebelumnya dilakukan uji validitas dan reliabilitas. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini ialah uji regresi linear sederhana. Prasyarat analisis hipotesis regresi linear sederhana yang harus terpenuhi adalah uji normalitas dan uji linearitas. Menggunakan , diperoleh hasil bahwa H0 ditolak sebab nilai sig. 0,002 > 0,05 yang berarti bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara self esteem dan kemampuan komunikasi matematika siswa dengan model regresi . Hubungan antara variabel tersebut bersifat korelasi positif karena diperoleh nilai koefisien korelasi  yang berarti bahwa semakin tinggi self esteem siswa akan semakin baik kemampuan komunikasi matematikanya dan sebaliknya. Besarnya nilai self esteem dalam mempengaruhi kemampuan komunikasi matematika yaitu 22,3%.Kata kunci: Self Esteem, Komunikasi Matematika, Regresi Liner

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat pengaruh antara motivasi berprestasi siswa terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis dan bagaimana hubungan antara motivasi berprestasi siswa dengan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah semua siswa kelas XI SMK Karya teknologi Jatilawang tahun ajaran 2016/2017 dan diperoleh sampel sebanyak 50 siswa. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah tes kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis dan angket motivasi berprestasi siswa. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis regresi linear sederhana yang sebelumnya dilakukan uji normalitas dan uji linearitas sebagai prasyarat analisis. Dengan signifikansi 5% diperoleh hasil analisis bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara motivasi berprestasi siswa terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis dan mempunyai korelasi positif antara kedua variabel penelitian tersebut. Kata kunci: Motivasi Berprestasi, Kemampuan Pemecahan Masalah Matematis.

Abstract

ABSTRACTResearch and Development intended to produce mathematical module with Brain Based Learning using cross puzzle on Barisan and Deret Geometri that validated content and constructs, and to know the effectiveness of using the developed mathematical module. Observations were do at SMA N 3 and SMA Ya Bakki Kesugihan Cilacap as research sites. The subject of research are the teachers, students of High School class XI, linguists, media and material expert. The instrument of research used in data collection in the form of interviews, module quality questionnaires, and achievement test. The result show that the average score obtained from the expert gives the criteria to development module has good quality. While the percentage of module quality questionnaire scores by the teacher and student responses to the module are 91.5% and 90.34%, that means the quality of the module was very good. Furthermore, the results of the Paired T-Test hypothesis test using SPSS were previously  Kolmogorov-Smirnov normality test as a prerequisite for the hypothesis test obtained significant score of 0.004 <0.05, it was concluded that H0 was rejected so there was a significant difference between before being given a module and after being given a developed mathematical module. Keywords:  Research & Development, Brain Based Learning, Cross Puzzle, Mathematical Module  ABSTRAKPenelitian pengembangan (R&D) ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan modul matematika berbasis Brain based Learning menggunakan permainan teka - teki silang pada materi barisan dan deret geometri yang telah divalidasi isi dan konstruk, serta untuk mengetahui keefektifan penggunaan modul matematika yang dikembangkan ini. Observasi dilakukan di SMA Negeri 3 Cilacap dan SMA Ya Bakki Kesugihan sebagai tempat penelitian. Subjek penelitian yang dilibatkan dalam penelitian ini antara lain guru dan siswa SMA kelas XI, ahli bahasa, ahli media, dan ahli materi. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan dalam pengambilan data berupa wawancara, angket kualitas modul dan tes prestasi belajar untuk melihat keefektifan modul yang dikembangkan. Diperoleh hasil bahwa rata-rata nilai dari ahli memberikan kriteria modul pengembangan tersebut memiliki kualitas baik. Sedangkan prosentase nilai angket kualitas modul oleh guru dan respon siswa terhadap modul tersebut sebesar 91,5% dan 90,34% yang berarti kualitas modul tersebut sangat baik. Selanjutnya hasil uji hipotesis Paired T-Test menggunakan SPSS yang sebelumnya dilakukan uji normalitas Kolmogorov-Smirnov sebagai prasyarat uji hipotesis didapat nilai Sig. sebesar 0,004<0,05, disimpulkan bahwa H0 ditolak sehingga terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara sebelum diberikan modul dengan setelah diberikan modul matematika yang dikembangkan. Kata kunci: R&D, Brain Based Learning, Teka-Teki Silang, Modul Matematika

Abstract

This study aims to develop a math problem type PISA to familiarize students using problems with PISA standard and produces a valid, practical, PISA context of Puri Tri Agung type and see the basic math skills (KDM) seen from the context of Puri Tri Agung. The research method used is design research with the type of research development. The result of the research is a valid PISA math problem at the expert review stage and one to one, while the practicality is done by small group stages. Ability that is found in the form of communication, representation, mathematical, reasoning and argument, and formulate strategy to solve the problem.

Abstract

In the process of admitting new students, each school has a different strategy to increase the number of applicants and the number of students accepted. The publication strategy is structured to achieve the expected goals or to get the number of students according to the quota. The publication strategy will work well if the school has predictive data on the number of students that will come. Therefore, researchers do research with the purpose to predict the number of new students at SMA Ya Bakii 1 Kesugihan using the Trend Linear model with the Least Square to the number of new students from 2002/2003 to 2022/2023. The results of the analysis show that the Least Square Method prediction model in the form of y =49.424+4.463x gives accurate or good results with a MAPE value of 11.996%. While the prediction results for the next five years, namely 2023/2024, 2024/2025, 2025/2026, 2027/2028, and 2029/2030 are 148 students, 152 students, 157 students, 161 students, and 165 students.

Abstract

Prakiraan cuaca merupakan salah satu kajian yang sangat menarik untuk dilakukan. Data mengenai cuaca juga sangat dibutuhkan di berbagai bidang kehidupan, sehingga membuat penulis tertantang untuk meneliti metode yang paling akurat dalam memprakirakan cuaca. Salah satu teknik pemodelan prakiraan cuaca adalah Fuzzy Inference System (FIS), dan metode FIS ini merupakan metode yang menghasilkan tingkat akurasi yang tinggi.. Metode FIS terbagi menjadi tiga tipe yaitu Mamdani, Sugeno dan Tsukamoto. Selain Teknik pemodelan, dalam memprakirakan cuaca juga harus memperhatikan beberapa fenomena yang berpengaruh terhadap cuaca, baik skala global, skala regional, atau skala lokal untuk parameter inputnya. Pada penelitian ini akan meneliti metode yang paling akurat antara metode FIS tipe Mamdani dan Sugeno dengan bantuan aplikasi MATLAB. Data diperoleh dari pihak BMKG Cilacap dan dari situs penyedia informasi parameter. Data yang digunakan ada 6 sebagai parameter inputnya yaitu Enso, DMI, MJO, SST, Tekanan, dan Kelembaban yang diambil dari bulan Juli 2021 sampai Juli 2022. Dengan menggunakan metode dan parameter input tersebut diperoleh hasil bahwa prakiraan cuaca dengan metode FIS tipe Mamdani studi kasus BMKG Cilacap memiliki tingkat akurasi sebesar 80,87. Sedangkan untuk metode FIS tipe Sugeno menghasilkan tingkat akurasi sebesar 65,31%. Sehingga metode terbaik dalam memprakirakan cuaca studi kasus BMKG Cilacap adalah metode FIS tipe Mamdani

Abstract

The goal of this study is to use Kahoot Game media in learning to enhance student learning outcomes and engagement in Calculus I courses. The months of September through December 2022 were used for this study. This form of study was called Classroom Action Research and it was divided into two cycles, each of which included four stages: planning, action, observation, and reflection. This study focused on 12 first-semester mathematics majors who took Calculus I courses during the 2022–2023 school year. Observations, tests, and questionnaires were employed as the data gathering methods. The results of this study were 1) the class average score showed an improvement in scores on the pretest and posttest in each cycle, which increased the outcomes of learning attainment; 2) enhancing student learning motivation in Calculus I classes when the pre-cycle, cycle I, and cycle II average scores are used. The criteria for student interest in learning outcomes, which before the research, students were included in the criteria of good enough and good criteria, demonstrate this. Students were added to the good and very good criteria once the action was taken.

Abstract

This research aims to predict daily maximum and minimum air temperatures in Cilacap Regency using ARIMA and Exponential Smoothing. Data was obtained from recordings carried out by BMKG Cilacap using maximum and minimum thermometers taken from January 1, 2016, to December 31, 2021. The results show that the best forecasting model uses the ARIMA (2,1,2) model for maximum temperature and the ARIMA (1,1,1) model for minimum temperature, with the MAPE value of 2.09% for the maximum temperature and 2.44% for the minimum temperature, while the RMSE value obtained is 0.9177 for the maximum temperature and 0.8001 for the minimum temperature. Based on the ARIMA model, Cilacap's daily maximum temperature in 2022 was predicted to be around 30.6ᵒC, with a 95% confidence interval between 28ᵒC - 35ᵒC, while the minimum temperature was predicted to be around 25.1ᵒC, with a 95% confidence interval between 23ᵒC - 28ᵒC.
