Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan bahan ajar educational statistics untuk meningkatkan kemandirian belajar dan hasil belajar mahasiswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian Research and Development tipe 4D (Define, Design, Develop, dan Disseminate). Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah lembar validasi ahli, kuesioner kemandirian belajar, dan tes hasil belajar. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah 98 mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa Inggris Universitas Ahmad Dahlan yang sedang menempuh mata kuliah educational statistics. Berdasarkan hasil pengembangan diketahui bahwa bahan ajar educational statistics memenuhi kriteria valid, dan penggunaan bahan ajar tersebut efektif ditinjau dari kemandirian belajar dan hasil belajar mahasiswa. Tetapi penggunaan bahan ajar educational statistics ini tidak lebih efektif jika dibandingkan dengan penggunaan bahan ajar lain This study aims to develop an educational statistics module to increase learning independence and student learning outcomes. This study used research and development type 4D (Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate). The instruments used in this study were expert validation sheets, independent learning questionnaires, and learning outcomes tests. The subjects in this study were 98 students of the Ahmad Dahlan University English Education Study Program who are currently taking educational statistics courses. Based on the development results, it is known that the educational statistics module meets valid criteria, and the use of the module is effective in terms of learning independence and student learning outcomes.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik (LKPD) berbasis Problem-Based Learning (PBL) pada topik sudut yang layak. Penelitian pengembangan ini mengadopsi model pengembangan ADDIE dengan tahapan meliputi Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, dan Evaluation. Kualitas LKPD ditinjau dari penilaian ahli materi, ahli media, dan respon peserta didik. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah angket ahli materi, angket ahli media, dan angket respon peserta didik. LKPD diujicobakan di kelas VII SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Yogyakarta dengan subjek sebanyak 32 peserta didik. LKPD yang dikembangkan memuat aktivitas pembelajaran sesuai langkah PBL, menyajikan masalah yang berkaitan dengan kehidupan sehari-hari di awal pembelajaran, dan dapat digunakan dalam pembelajaran online. Ditinjau dari aspek materi, LKPD dinilai baik dengan rerata skor penilaian oleh ahli materi yaitu 4,00. Ditinjau dari aspek media, LKPD dinilai baik dengan skor penilaian oleh ahli media sebesar 3,6. Respon peserta didik terhadap penggunaan LKPD termasuk pada kategori baik dengan rerata skor penilaian sebesar 4,05. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa LKPD berbasis PBL untuk SMP kelas VII pada topik sudut layak digunakan dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran matematika. Development of a students' worksheet based on problem-based learning (PBL) on the topic of anglesAbstractThis study aimed to produce a students’ worksheet or Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik (LKPD) based on Problem-Based Learning (PBL) on the topic of angles, which were feasible. This development research adopts the ADDIE development model with stages including Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The quality of LKPD was viewed from the assessment of material experts, media experts, and students’ responses. The instrument used was a material expert questionnaire, a media expert questionnaire, and a students’ response questionnaire. LKPD was piloted on 32 seventh grade students of private junior high schools, namely SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Yogyakarta, Indonesia. The developed LKPD contained learning activities according to PBL steps, presented problems related to everyday life at the beginning of learning, and could be used in online learning. In terms of the material aspect, LKPD was considered good with an average score of assessment by material experts, namely 4.00. In terms of the media aspect, LKPD was considered good with a score of 3.6 by media experts. Students’ responses to the use of LKPD were included in the good category with an average score of assessment of 4.05. It could be concluded that the PBL-based LKPD for seventh-grade junior high school students on the topic of angles was feasible for use in the implementation of mathematics learning.

Abstract

The results of observations of classroom learning and interviews with mathematics teachers in Muhammadiyah 1 Depok Junior High School showed that teaching materials were not available in the form of LKPD, especially STEM-based LKPD. Students as the next generation of the nation must be accustomed to creative and innovative thinking, one of them is by applying STEM-based learning (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics). This research has the goal of developing STEM-based LKPD on Material of Solid Geometry with Flat Surfacefor to students junior high school in class VIII. The model used in this development is ADDIE. Material expert questionnaire, media expert questionnaire, and student responses questionnaire are instruments used in this study. The product trial subjects in this study were students of Muhammadiyah 1 Depok Junior High School class VIII. Qualitative data analysis and quantitative data analysis are data analysis techniques used in this study. LKPD is declared feasible based on the assessment of media expert, material expert, and students respon. The media expert assessment is in the very either category with average score of 100. The material expert assessment is in the either category with average score 129. The Student questionnaire responses assesment on the quality of learning obtained is in the very either category with average score of 12,23.

Abstract

Mata kuliah statistika pendidikan menjadi salah satu bekal mahasiswa dalam menyelesaikan tugas akhirnya. Saat ini, sudah banyak ditemukan buku tentang statistika, tetapi perlu dianalisis kesesuaian dengan kebutuhan mahasiswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kebutuhan bahan ajar statistika khusus dalam bidang pendidikan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan subjek sebanyak 98 mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa Inggris Universitas Ahmad Dahlan. Berdasarkan hasil analisis diperoleh bahwa perlu dikembangkan bahan ajar statistika khusus dalam bidang pendidikan. Bahan ajar yang dikembangkan memfasilitasi mahasiswa agar dapat mempelajari contoh-contoh penerapan statistika dalam bidang pendidikan, bahan ajar dikembangkan berdasarkan prinsip pembelajaran cooperative learning sehingga kerjasama antar mahasiswa akan terbentuk, bahan ajar yang dikembangkan merupakan bahan ajar yang interaktif. Bahan ajar yang dikembangkan akan diuji coba pada tahap berikutnya.

Abstract

Increasing the professionalism of an educator is important. One effort that can be done to improve professionalism is the collaboration between educators. Lesson study is an activity that can facilitate educators to observe each other's learning processes. Training activities and mentoring learning studies are carried out to create a learning community for mathematics teachers. The target of this activity is the Muhammadiyah Junior High School / MTs math teacher in Bantul Regency. The target of this service activity is the educator of learning problems that can be learned in learning activities. The practice of lesson study can be done at the level of the Subject Teacher Training (MGMP). Two activities in training activities which included lecture and discussion activities, as well as mentoring activities that contained lesson lessons. This activity is successful and can provide experience for participants

Abstract

This investigation aims to examine problem-solving ability (PSA) in Polya's problem-solving phases in the material of sine and cosine number and difference. This study used the descriptive qualitative research method. This study looked at 33 students in Class XI MIPA 5 from SMA Negeri 2 Bantul. Data was collected using written tests and interviews. The written test in this study takes the form of a two-point description question. The study's findings were used to calculate the mathematics PSA of students in class XI MIPA 5 at SMA Negeri 2. In mathematics, the average percentage of students who meet the low requirement is 59.72 percent. Furthermore, children with high expectations can thoroughly, meticulously, and systematically solve difficulties. Understanding the problem remains a struggle for pupils who reach intermediate standards and have yet to complete the problem's solution. Meanwhile, students who scored low on the criteria had trouble understanding the problem and were unable to solve it using the prepared plans, as well as students who were unable to double-check the response and complete the solution to the problem that had been solved.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif yang bertujuan untuk menganalisis kemampuan penalaran matematis siswa SMA pada materi Pertidaksamaan Dua Variabel yang dikategorikan ke dalam lima kategori yaitu sangat baik, baik, cukup, kurang, dan sangat kurang. Subjek dalam penelitian ini yaitu siswa kelas X MIPA 3 di SMAN 2 Bantul sebanyak 31 siswa. Instrumennya yaitu instrumen tes kemampuan penalaran matematis dan wawancara. Bentuk tes kemampuan penalaran matematis yang disajikan sebanyak 2 butir soal dan wawancara kepada beberapa siswa yang terpilih pada setiap kategori. Berdasarkan hasil analisis tes kemampuan penalaran matematis dan wawancara diperoleh hasil sebesar 22,58% kategori sangat baik (7 siswa), 6,45% kategori baik (2 siswa), 48,39% kategori cukup (15 siswa), 16,13% kategori kurang (5 siswa), dan 6,45% kategori sangat kurang (2 siswa).This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach that aims to analyze the mathematical reasoning ability of high school students on the Inequality of Two Variables material which is categorized into five categories, namely very good, good, sufficient, less, and very poor. The subjects in this study were students of class X MIPA 3 at SMAN 2 Bantul as many as 31 students. The instruments are mathematical reasoning ability test instruments and interviews. The form of the mathematical reasoning ability test presented as many as 2 questions and interviews with several students who were selected in each category. Based on the results of the analysis of the mathematical reasoning ability test and interviews, the results obtained were 22.58% very good category (7 students), 6.45% good category (2 students), 48.39% sufficient category (15 students), 16.13% poor category (5 students), and 6.45% very poor category (2 students).

Abstract

This research was conducted with the aim of knowing the mathematical creative thinking ability of class XI students of SMA N 2 Bantul with research subjects of class XI MIPA 6. This study used a test instrument to measure creative thinking skills. The indicators used in students' mathematical creative thinking were fluency, flexibility, authenticity/originality, detail/elaboration, and judging. The ability to think creatively is the ability to think with the aim of generating new ideas or various answers to a question by paying attention to the number of responses and the quality of the solution. The test instrument used was in the form of 2 written questions. The method used in this research was the descriptive qualitative research method. Data tabulation was used to process the data. Then, the data was calculated to get the percentages and after that was interpreted. The conclusion from the results of this study shows that the creative mathematical thinking of students in class XI MIPA 6 SMA N 2 Bantul is in criteria of quite creative Keywords: creative thinking, the sum and difference of sine and cosine Penelitian ini diadakan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis siswa kelas XI SMA N 2 Bantul dengan subjek penelitian siswa kelas XI MIPA 6. Penelitian ini menggunakan instrument tes untuk mengukur kemampuan berpikir kreatif. Indikator yang digunakan dalam berpikir kreatif matematis siswa ini adalah kelancaran, keluwesan, keaslian/originalitas, keterincian/elaborasi, dan  menilai. Ke-mampuan berpikir kreatif merupakan kemampuan berpikir dengan tujuan menghasilkan ide-ide baru atau bermacam-macam jawaban terhadap suatu soal dengan memperhatikan kuantitas jawaban dan kualitas cara penyelesaian. Instrumen test yang digunakan berupa soal tertulis sebanyak 2 soal uraian. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Dengan teknik pengolahan data yaitu melalui tabulasi data, lalu dihitung persentase kemudian diinterpretasikan. Kesimpulan dari hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa berpikir kreatif matematis siswa kelas XI MIPA 6 SMA N 2 Bantul memiliki kriteria cukup kreatif. Abstract

Education is a systematic effort to develop individual abilities in the era of globalization. According to Law Number 20 Article 3 of 2003 education has a strategic function in preparing high intellectual, emotional and social abilities. Thinking ability affects success in learning. Thinking is the process of interpreting circumstances from existing premises. Logical thinking becomes a step in solving complex problems for every individual. Mathematics affects the formation of a mindset. The ability to think logically is based on indicators in making meaning, making logical connections between concepts and facts, grieving and testing concepts, solving problems rationally, and drawing conclusions. The research was conducted on seventh-grade G-class students of Madrasah Mu'allimin Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta using test and interview methods as confirmation. Student work results were analyzed descriptively and grouped into four categories in general and based on indicators. It was found that students' abilities were in the less high category with a percentage of 76.7% and based on indicators the majority were in the less high category. So, it can be concluded that student’s ability to think logically is low.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan numerasi dan kemandirian belajar peserta didik kelas XI-5 SMA Negeri 1 Sewon dengan menerapkan model problem based learning. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas, dengan subjek penelitian peserta didik kelas XI-5 SMA Negeri 1 Sewon yang berjumlah 30 peserta didik. Desain penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah model Kemmis dan Mc Taggart. Penelitian dilaksanakan dalam tiga siklus dengan satu pertemuan disetiap siklusnya dan dilaksanakan pada bulan Februari sampai dengan Maret tahun 2024. Data dikumpulkan dengan teknik observasi, tes, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yaitu deskriptif kuantitatif dengan kriteria keberhasilan lebih dari 70% peserta didik mempunyai kemampuan numerasi dan kemandirian belajar minimal pada kategori tinggi berdasarkan hasil tes dan angket. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model problem based learning dapat meningkatkan kemampuan numerasi dan kemandirian belajar peserta didik kelas XI-5 SMA Negeri 1 Sewon. Peningkatan kemampuan numerasi peserta didik terlihat dari hasil tes yang menunjukkan 26,67% peserta didik memiliki kemampuan numerasi minimal tinggi pada pra tindakan, kemudian menjadi 83,33% peserta didik memiliki kemampuan numerasi minimal tinggi pada siklus ke-3. Sedangkan peningkatan kemandirian belajar peserta didik terlihat dari hasil angket yang menunjukkan 56,67% peserta didik memiliki kemandirian belajar minimal tinggi pada pra tindakan, menjadi 76,67% peserta didik memiliki kemandirian belajar minimal tinggi pada siklus ke-3. Berdasarkan peningkatan tersebut, kemampuan numerasi dan kemandirian belajar peserta didik pada siklus ke-3 telah memenuhi kriteria berhasil penelitian yaitu lebih dari 70% peserta didik mempunyai kemampuan numerasi dan kemandirian belajar minimal pada kategori tinggi
