Abstract

Miss Eka Gallery is a decoration service business for various events such as weddings and birthdays that currently still uses conventional ordering methods through direct communication or social media. This ordering method often results in delayed responses, misinformation, and difficulties in order management. Therefore, this study was conducted to design a website application with optimal UI (User Interface) and UX (User Experience) design so that customers can easily view the decoration catalog, place orders, and get confirmation in real-time. The method used in this study is User-Centered Design (UCD) with a design thinking approach consisting of five stages, namely empathize, define, ideate, prototype, and test. Data were obtained through observation and questionnaires to application users to understand their needs, complaints, and preferences. The design results show that the developed web application prototype can display the decoration catalog well, simplify the ordering process, and provide easy service confirmation to customers. Based on testing using the System Usability Scale (SUS) and User Experience Questionnaire (UEQ) on 14 respondents, it was found that most users still felt less helped, especially in the aspects of navigation and clarity of decoration information. Respondents also suggested adding features such as a chatbot, QRIS payment methods, and a photo gallery of on-site decorations. The results showed that interactive and user-friendly UI/UX design can increase customer satisfaction. Further research is recommended to develop these additional features to optimize the application and meet user expectations.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the need for effective learning strategies in increasing student motivation and learning outcomes in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) subjects at Vocational High Schools (SMK). As an integral part of the curriculum, PAI has a central role in shaping students' character, morals and religious values. However, its implementation is often faced with challenges, mainly related to a lack of student involvement and a lack of variety in teaching strategies. Therefore, this research aims to evaluate the effectiveness of implementing the Problem Based Learning (PBL) strategy in increasing student motivation and learning outcomes in PAI subjects at Miftahul Ulum Vocational School, Tanjung Senang. Using a quantitative approach and associative verification method, this research involved class X OTKP and RPL students as research subjects. The research results show that there is a significant relationship between the use of PBL strategies and student learning motivation and learning outcomes, with the PBL variable making a significant contribution in increasing student learning motivation and learning outcomes. The conclusion of this research highlights the importance of implementing innovative learning strategies such as PBL in the context of Islamic religious education in vocational schools, while considering the need for support and attention to challenges that may arise in the implementation process.

Abstract

Layanan administrasi kependudukan adalah layana publik yang cukup penting bagi masyarakat, termasuk penerbitan KTP, Kartu Keluarga, serta Akta pencatatan sipil. Akan tetapi, metode pelayanan yang masih dilakukan secara manual mengakibatkan proses menjadi tidak efesien, adanya keterbatasan dalam akses informasi, serta waktu pelayanan yang cenderung lama. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk merancang User Interface (UI) dan User Experience (UX) pada aplikasi layanan administrasi kependudukan Kelurahan Tanjung Rejo berbasis website. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah User Centered Design (UCD). Metode ini diterpakan melalui beberapa langkah, yaitu memahami konteks penggunaan, menentukan kebutuhan pengguna, merancang solusi, dan mengevaluasi desain dengan melibatkan pengguna secara langsung pada setiap langkah. Penelitian ini menghasilkan desain UI/UX website yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan pengguna dan meningkatkan kemudahan dalam mengakses layanan, terbukti oleh hasil evaluasi desain yang menunjukkan skor sebesar 87 dengan dengan kategori Excellent. Tahap evaluasi menggunakan pengujian dengan metode System Usability Scale (SUS). Penerapan metode UCD terbukti berhasil dalam menciptakan desain aplikasi berbasis website yang efesien, mudah diakses, dan berfokus pada pengguna.

Abstract

Operational efficiency in the retail business heavily relies on accurate inventory management systems, particularly in handling damaged goods and return processes. Mencirim Swalayan currently faces challenges due to manual recording procedures that trigger data error risks and response delays. This research aims to design the User Interface (UI) and User Experience (UX) of a mobile monitoring application tailored to operational needs using the User-Centered Design (UCD) approach. The UCD method is employed to ensure the design focuses on end-user needs through four main stages: understanding the context of use, specifying user requirements, designing solutions, and evaluation. The result of this study is an application design that integrates barcode scanning, physical photo documentation, and a real-time return status monitoring dashboard. Design evaluation was conducted using the System Usability Scale (SUS) instrument with 10 respondents, yielding an average score of 79.5. These results indicate that the application has a usability level in the "Good" category with an "Acceptable" rating, making it feasible for implementation to improve data accuracy and staff work efficiency at Mencirim Swalayan.
