Abstract

The necessary of young generation knowledge about the Indonesian hero’s history is very important to grow their nationalism, especially the young generation in the South Sulawesi of Indonesia. One of the ways can be used to grow the nationalism of the young generation are by utilization of Android technology to give information about the history of Indonesian heroes. The purpose of this study is to build the information system of Indonesian heroes based on Android using direct search method. The direct search method is the method is able to use to search the information by directly to solve the problem without need additional information. The result of this study is the information system was developed is able to use to the society to give the information about the national hero history especially in the South Sulawesi of Indonesia.

Abstract

Indonesia is a country that has heroes in every region, one of which is South Sulawesi. One of the obstacles for the younger generation today is the lack of knowledge and understanding of the history of regional heroes. The purpose of this study is to build a hero historical location information system with an android-based sequential search algorithm. The sequential search method is a search method in stages from beginning to end in reaching the desired point. The result of this research is to show historical information about heroes and information about South Sulawesi. This application also displays the location of historical places in South Sulawesi so that users of this application can find the right path to reach the desired point

Abstract

Disease in chicken can be caused by bacteria, viruses, fungi, parasites from within or from outside. This condition will cause the level of chicken production to decrease if exposed to chicken disease. The purpose of this study was to design and implement an expert system for early diagnosis in web-based chicken using the certainty factor method. Certainty factor method in this study aims to provide certainty for the user to know where the chicken that detected a disease. Certainty provided by these experts describe the beliefs of an expert in the relationship between antecedent and consequent. The results of this study are to produce a web-based application system that can diagnose diseases in chicken so that users can find out what diseases are experienced by chicken by inputting the symptoms that appear. Abstract

The importance of understanding the Covid-19 disease in early childhood has become an important concern by the government and the Indonesian people. The purpose of this study is to build an Android-based educational information system for the prevention of Covid-19 disease in early childhood. The problem faced by the community is that it is difficult to provide understanding to children to comply with health protocols from the government. The method used to build an educational information system application uses the multimedia development life cycle (MDLC) method. The MDLC method consists of 6 stages used in this study, namely concept, design, material collection, manufacture, testing and distribution. The result of this research is to build a covid-19 prevention education information system, where this application provides understanding to early childhood and provides information to children in the form of applications in the form of multimedia that can be accessed via Android-based smartphones.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to build a software and hardware design that will be used to calculate and monitor the number of visitors in public space based on the image processing technique using the Binary Image Comparison (BIC) method. In the BIC method, there is a master binary image value that will be compared with the color binary image value which is used as a determinant in calculating the number of people entering and leaving a public space. The camera as an input device is used to capture image objects, then it will be processed using a Raspberry Pi, then the output from this device is an LCD to display the number of visitors, a buzzer to give a warning when the number of visitors has met the maximum limit, and a led indicator. The software used to process image data is using the Python programming language and the OpenCV library. The result of this research is the design of software and hardware that will be used to monitor the number of visitors in public space based on image processing technique using the BIC method

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to design a peatland monitoring system based on a data communication system between sensor nodes using Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) technology. Peatland is one part of the tropical forest ecosystem which is very vulnerable to fire disasters so it can cause harm to the community, both materially and non-materially. In this study, we will use the DHT11 sensor to detect the temperature and humidity of the environment and use the soil moisture sensor to read the temperature conditions of the peatlands. Next, we use NodeMCU ESP8266 to process the sensor data, then send it to the internet to be processed using Firebase services. Firebase is a platform made by Google that can display the results of sensor data processing in the online form using mobile applications and web services. The result of this research is that the WSN device that was built can provide information on the state of the temperature, humidity, and peat soil condition using the internet network so that the society can monitor the condition of the peatland by online using smartphone.

Abstract

One of the public services in the health sector is the puskesmas. Puskesmas is a public service that is very easily accessible to the general public. However, with the number of puskesmas service centers spread across various districts or cities, it becomes a benchmark in knowing the performance of each employee under the auspices of the agency. The level of community satisfaction in responding to services provided at this time at the Tinggede Health Center by using a box that reads satisfied and dissatisfied. The shortfall in the assessment of public services is because there is no basis for the assessment. The solution in overcoming this problem, the researchers built a web-based information system that can be used at the puskesmas in evaluating satisfaction with the service provided to the community with a satisfaction index based on the MenPan-RB decision number 14 of 2017. The level of success in measuring the information system built with using black box testing and Likert scale. The number of responses in this study were 28 people with the results of the black box testing reaching 100% and the Likert scale reaching a value of 79.5%.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengimplementasikan sistem pemantau jumlah pengunjung pada ruang publik berbasis citra dengan menggunakan metode Binary Image Comparison (BIC). Teknik pemantauan jumlah pengunjung dilakukan dengan cara menghitung jumlah pengunjung yang masuk dan keluar dari ruang publik berdasarkan citra thresholding warna hijau jalur masuk dan keluar yang tertutup oleh langkah pengunjung. Fungsi dari metode BIC adalah untuk membandingkan nilai biner citra master dengan nilai biner citra hijau pada jalur masuk dan keluar dari ruang publik. Pada saat warna hijau jalur masuk tertutup oleh pengunjung, maka sistem menghitung terdapat pengunjung yang masuk ke dalam ruangan. Selanjutnya, jika kamera mendeteksi terdapat manusia yang melewati jalur warna hijau keluar, maka sistem mendeteksi terdapat manusia yang keluar dari ruangan. Hasil dari penelitian ini memperlihatkan bahwa metode BIC dapat digunakan untuk menghitung jumlah pengunjung pada ruang publik dengan keakuratan hingga 80%. Selain itu, sistem yang dibangun dapat memberi peringatan berupa bunyi buzzer pada saat jumlah pengunjung melebihi dari kapasitas maksimum dari ruang publik
