Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menganalisis kesalahan mahasiswa pendidikan matematika semester keenam. Kesalahan yang diteliti adalah tentang mahasiswa matematika dalam menentukan bentuk kutub bilangan kompleks, pada materi analisis kompleks. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Subjek pada penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa pendidikan matematika semester empat di Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta tahun akademik 2021/2022. Data dalam penelitian ini diperoleh dengan tes, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mahasiswa dengan kemandirian belajar tinggi dan sedang tidak terdapat kesalahan membaca, kesalahan memahami, kesalahan transformasi, kesalahan keterampilan proses , dan kesalahan penulisan jawaban. Mahasiswa dengan kemandirian belajar rendah tidak terdapat kesalahan membaca, kesalahan memahami, kesalahan transformasi, namun ada kesalahan keterampilan proses, dan kesalahan penulisan jawaban

Abstract

This research objective is to analyze and explain the student’s capacity for mathematical representation based on mathematical contextual problems of arithmetic and geometric sequences and progression material. Students enrolled in SMA 1 Sukoharjo X.E10 were the subject of this research. The data collection process used interviews, tests, and documentation. This research used a descriptive research approach with a qualitative research type. Based on the findings of this research, students who have visual representation skills in mathematics are more likely to complete challenges that involve visuals, such as diagrams. Typically, mathematically symbolic representation-capable pupils utilize mathematical formulas and symbols to solve problems. Furthermore, students who have the ability to verbally represent mathematics have a tendency to encrypt problem-solving steps into words.

Abstract

This study examines the effectiveness of Kahoot!, a game-based learning platform, in improving junior high school students’ conceptual understanding in mathematics. A quasi-experimental method was applied involving two eighth-grade classes at SMP Negeri 2 Teras: one as the experimental group using Kahoot and the other as the control group receiving conventional instruction. Data were gathered through pretests, posttests, questionnaires, and observations. The t-test analysis revealed a significant difference in student performance (t_count = 2,4132 > t_table = 2.0086 at α = 0.05), with the experimental group achieving a moderate N-Gain of 0.56. These findings demonstrate that Kahoot fosters student engagement, encourages real-time feedback, and supports varied learning styles, contributing to enhanced conceptual understanding. The integration of Kahoot in mathematics instruction, particularly on abstract topics like statistics, is shown to create a more interactive and student-centered learning environment. Educators are encouraged to incorporate technology-enhanced tools such as Kahoot to support active and meaningful learning processes.

Abstract

This study sought to describe mistakes made by SMK Muhammadiyah Delanggu's grade XI students with high, medium, and low abilities when solving matrix problems. It also sought to describe mistakes made by SMK Muhammadiyah Delanggu's grade XI students with concepts, principles, and procedures. This exploration is an engaging subjective examination. The instrument utilized a composed test that included two things, four framework material test questions and meetings were utilized as extra instruments. 14 XI students who had studied matrix material served as the study's subjects. By gathering information from giving composed test questions, understudy mistakes can be distinguished. According to the findings of this study, students of high ability understood the concepts and principles, but performed mathematical operations incorrectly; students of medium ability made procedural errors due to a lack of accuracy in matrix multiplication calculations; and students of low ability made numerous concept, principle, and procedure errors.

Abstract

Tingkat pecapaian siswa di Indonesia dalam literasi matematika pada Programme for International Student Assessment yang masih rendah menjadi permasalahan dalam dunia pendidikan. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut, pemerintah telah menetapkan pemberlakuan Asesmen Kompetensi Minimum (AKM) sebagai pengganti pelaksanaan Ujian Nasional (UN). Sebagai upaya untuk mendukung kesiapan sekolah dalam menghadapi pemberlakuan AKM, maka perlu adanya pendampingan pengembangan soal-soal matematika yang berorientasi AKM. Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pelatihan dan pendampingan pengembangan soal-soal matematika konten geometri yang berorientasi AKM berdasarkan proses kognitif dan konteks sosial pada AKM. Subjek dalam pengabdian ini adalah 10 guru matematika SMP Muhammadiyah di kecamatan Kartasura. Metode partisipatif digunakan dalam pelaksanaan pengabdian ini, dimana peserta dapat memperhatikan, mempraktekkan secara langsung, dan mengajukan pertanyaan dari materi yang disampaikan. Hasil dari pelatihan ini adalah guru-guru dapat mengembangkan soal geometri yang berorientasi AKM berdasarkan proses kognitif dan konteks sosial.

Abstract

It is hoped that teachers will not only be able to understand, but teachers are also expected to be able to analyze Numeracy AKM questions first. This community service activity aims to increase the understanding of contex of Numeracy AKM for teachers at Muhammadiyah 1 Kartasura Middle School. The methods used in this activity are the speaker give explanation about numeracy AKM, discussion and also training methods. The results obtained from this service activity are that  75% of the teachers understand context of numeracy AKM.

Abstract

Elementary mathematics learning with an independent curriculum can be carried out well if the learning plan has been prepared well. This means that teachers must be able to organize teaching modules well. This service activity aims to improve the abilities of Madrasah 'Ibtidaiyah Muhammadiyah (MIM) teachers in Kartasura sub-district regarding the development of realistic mathematics-based teaching modules oriented to High Order Thinking Skills (HOTS). The activity was carried out at Madrasah 'Ibtidaiyah Muhammadiyah (MIM) Gonilan. This activity in the form of a workshop was attended by 12 participant that is MIM teachers from Kartasura District. This activity is carried out using lecture methods and also exercises. Based on the results of the final questionnaire of the activity, it can be seen that there was a slight increase in the knowledge of the teachers regarding teaching module material, realistic mathematics, and HOTS.

Abstract

Perubahan paradigma pembelajaran menuntut guru memberikan pengalaman belajar siswa melalui integrasi teknologi dalam pembelajaran matematika. Teknologi seharusnya tidak sekedar sebagai media presentasi, tapi mampu mendukung konstruksi pengetahuan siswa, termasuk untuk konten matematika yang abstrak. Namun, kompetensi guru yang beragam dalam pemanfataan teknologi dan berbagai kendala lainnya mengakibatkan guru belum optimal dalam mengintegrasikan teknologi di kelas matematika. Kegitan ini berupaya menguatkan kompetensi guru dalam integrasi teknologi dengan lebih optimal melalui GeoGebra Classroom yang dan simulasi ready-to-use melalui PhET. Kegiatan berupa pelatihan kepada guru matematika SMA/SMK/MA se-Kabupaten Purwodadi dilaksanakan secara luring melalui participant active learning. Dari hasil evaluasi, guru merasa lebih percaya diri dalam mengintegrasikan teknologi, serta memiliki ide dan pengetahuan baru dalam pemanfaatan teknologi dalam pembe;ajaran matematika. Guru juga merasakan manfaat pelatihan, diantaranya peningkatan pengetahuan dan wawasan profesional guru, serta dukungan pengembangan perangkat pembelajaran.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji penerapan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL) berbasis blended learning pada materi eksponen di kelas X SMA. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui efektivitas model ini dalam meningkatkan pemahaman konsep dan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model PBL berbasis blended learning dapat meningkatkan pemahaman materi eksponen dan keterlibatan siswa dalam proses pembelajaran. Selain itu, siswa memberikan tanggapan positif terhadap penerapan model ini, yang dianggap mampu mendukung proses belajar yang lebih fleksibel dan interaktif.
