Abstract

Abstrak Social network merupakan pola-pola interaksi sosial yang terjadi antar individu di dalam komunitas tertentu. Untuk mengungkapkan social network yang terjadi di dalam suatu komunitas maka diperlukan penentuan jenis relasi yang terjadi antar individu. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui relasi sosial yang terjadi di dalam salah satu grup di Facebook yaitu Grup Gelanggang-UGM. Ukuran yang diteliti adalah centrality, betweenness, closeness, dan density jaringan.  Sampel data anggota yang menjadi data penelitian dianalisis strukturnya dengan menggunakan metode statistik yang disebut Social Network Analysis (SNA) dan perangkat lunak Pajek. Dari hasil penelitian diketahui aktor yang menjadi pusat jaringan/sentralitas (centrality), aktor yang menjadi perantara (betweenness), dan aktor yang mempunyai hubungan terdekat (closeness) dengan anggota-anggota lain. Selain itu juga dapat diketahui kerapatan interaksi yang terjadi dalam grup ini.   Kata kunci: Social Network Analysis, Facebook, sentralitas, perantara, kedekatan, kerapatan     Abstract   Social network is social interaction patterns that happen between individuals in one community. To show social network that happens in a community one needs to determine inter individuals relationship's type in that community. This research goal was to study the social relationship that happened in one of Facebook groups, which was Gelanggang-UGM group. The studied measurements in this study were centrality, betweenness, closeness, and network density. The sample of group member data for this study was analyzed using statistical method called Social Network Analysis (SNA) and software Pajek. The study result showed the actor for centrality, betweenness, and closeness with other members. The result also showed the interaction density in this group. Abstract

This study established a system to implement Visual Basic 6.0 and the MySQL database for archives management that are effective and efficient in accordance with the needs of the administrative system in the Department of Electronics Engineering Education, Faculty of Engineering, YSU. Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0 is a software that is able to be applied on windows xp, vista, windows 7, or operating systems that are commonly used in offices. The application will be able to store the presence data of lecturers, incoming mails, outgoing mails, and the biodata of lecturers. In addition, with the crystal report, the system is able to print the archive reports, to search archives, and with the tools provided by Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0, it can be made into an installer application that can be run on other computers without having to reset the MySQL database.

Abstract

This study aims to find out about the transition of graduates of the Faculty of Engineering YSU to the world of work. This study used the tracer study method with respondents filling out a tracer study questionnaire of 573 graduates. The results found that as many as 95% of graduates of the Faculty of Engineering YSU continued their work. As many as 42% of graduates are looking for a job after graduation with less than 6 months for graduates to get a job, the number of companies applied for before getting the first job is 9.6 companies, the average number of companies that respond to graduates' applications is 53.33% of companies, the average number of companies that invite interviews is 27.33% of companies, the type of work of graduates currently working, namely working in the private sector is 47.96%, 83.982% have the suitability of the field of work with the competence of the field of graduate science education, 95.46% have an education level that is in accordance with current job needs, and the average income of graduates is above Rp. 2,000,000.00. Thus, the average graduate of the Faculty of Engineering YSU is absorbed in the field of employment in accordance with the field of graduate science education well

Abstract

The rapid technological advancements and evolving job markets present a pressing need to understand how academic experiences shape the career outcomes of engineering graduates. This understanding is crucial for educational institutions aiming to align their curricula with industry demands and for graduates seeking to maximize their career prospects. Notably, the role of financial support, academic performance, and early career experiences in influencing graduate prosperity remains underexplored. This study aims to analyze the correlation between finance support, GPA, study period, job waiting times, salary details, and the prosperity of graduates from the Faculty of Engineering at Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta. The prosperity of graduates is defined as earning wages equal to or exceeding the Indonesian minimum average wage. Using data from a tracer study questionnaire, the research employed logistic regression and correlation analysis to investigate these relationships. The data underwent several stages of filtering, resulting in a refined dataset of 70 records for analysis. This study used SPSS software for statistical analysis, focusing on descriptive statistics, correlation, and logistic regression models. The results highlighted significant predictors of graduate prosperity, including GPA and types of financial support, while illustrating the limited predictive power of early career experiences on long-term earnings. The study also indicated that extended study periods do not necessarily correlate with higher wages. In conclusion, the study underscores the importance of targeted educational strategies and student support systems that are responsive to the dynamics of the job market, enhancing the readiness and prosperity of engineering graduates.

Abstract

Evaluation of learners is a crucial aspect of the educational system. However, creating evaluation instruments is a process that demands teachers' time and energy. The researcher developed the Indonesia Automatic Question Generator in this study using an architecture modified from past studies. The primary goals of this project are (1) to construct an AQG tool utilizing the OpenNMT series and (2) to analyze and compare the model's performance. As a data source, this study employs the SQuAD 2.0 dataset and numerous sequence techniques, including BiGRU, BiLSTM, and Transformer. The researcher trained the models using OpenNMT-py and Google Collaboratory. This approach generates questions that are relevant to the context of the source. This study found that the model was acceptable.
