Abstract

  Heart sounds are very important for the initial diagnosis of a disease. This article aims to modify the stethoscope's medical device by adding a Low Pass Filter (LPF) and a condenser sensor so that data can be recorded in a digital device. The stages of tool development begin with analysis, design, development and testing. At the analysis stage, it was stated that a conventional medical stethoscope can only be done by a medical expert directly, where data cannot be stored for detailed analysis purposes, the device is not equipped with LPF which can limit the frequency in a certain range, monitoring data can displayed in the Matlab GUI. The results of testing tools through functional tests indicate that the addition of LPF can reduce noise when retrieving heart sound data and data can be monitored through the Matlab GUI display. The results of the development of this tool are expected to improve accuracy in diagnosing heart sound abnormalities through monitoring data on the Matlab GUI display.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is analyzing the impact of the variable Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), Insider Ownership (IO), Return On Asset (ROA),  Firm Size (SIZE), Current Ratio (CR), on variable Deviden Payout Ratio (DPR) and corporate value on manufacturing companies  listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange 2008 – 2011 period. Research using purposive sampling method for taking samples with the following criteria: (1) manufacturing company published financial report during period 2008 -2011; and (2) manufacturing company which always pays deviden within period of research (2008-2011). The Data was based on publicity Indonesian Capital Market Directory (ICMD) from 2008 to 2011. Sample was acquired 134 observed. Data was analyzed with multi linier regression of ordinary least square and hypotheses was tested using t-statistic and f-statistic at level of significance 1%, 5%, 10%. Analysis result shows that insider ownership, ROA is partially affecting DPR have a significance value less than 5%, while firm size, liquidity and current ratio are not significant impact on DPR. ROA, DPR and firm size able to affect company value have a significance value less than 5%, while DER,insider ownership,  liquidity and current ratio are not significant impact on company value. The implication is that the company should prioritize ROA since ROA is a variable which dominantly affecting DPR and company value. The meaning of strategy which is done through investment strategy that is based on ROA has positif relationship upon deviden policy which means if the company has high profitability will give increase of deviden policy actually increase company value.

Abstract

Penelitian ini adalah untuk menjawab pertanyaan baru-baru ini tentang pengaruh “Musik Campursari”pada kecenderungan vokalis gamelan terhadap sistem musik barat diatonik. “Tembang” dilagukan oleh vokalis gamelan pria dan wanita tanpa iringan gamelan dan/atau musik dan disimpan dalam pita kaset. Kemudian perekaman didigitalisasi dan dianalisis di lab untuk mencari kedekatan pada sistem nada pentatonik dan diatonik secara kuantitif. Setiap nada yang dilagukan oleh vokalis didapat mengunakan Pemrosesan Sinyal Spektrogram demo Toolbox dari Matlab 6.5. frekuensi yang tersedia kemudian diubah menjadi cent standar satuan. Akhirnya, dapat diambil keputusan tentang kedekatan sistem nada berdasarkan pada jarak dari setiap vektor.Kata Kunci: “Musik Campursari”, Spektrogram,Diatonik, Pentatonik, Vektor Kedekatan.

Abstract

Abstrak   Penelitian mengenai penghapusan derau sangat diperlukan di berbagaikebutuhan, salah satunya bidang medis, yaitu untuk mengetahui kondisi jantungjanin pada usia kehamilan tertentu, seperti penelitian yang penulis lakukan, atau bidang-bidang yang lain. Penelitian ini memanfaatkan kelebihan dari suatu sistemyang dapat beradaptasi dengan sendirinya, yaitu dengan algoritma adaptif LMS. Penelitian ini menggunakan isyarat dua masukan yang pertama berupaisyarat jantung janin yang sudah terinterferensi oleh isyarat jantung ibu, dan yangkedua adalah isyarat jantung ibu yang dianggap sebagai derau. Cara pengambilankedua isyarat harus dilakukan pada saat yang bersamaan, yaitu dengan merekamkedua isyarat tersebut dalam sebuah alat perekam yang berekstensi *.wav.Sebelum diadaptasi untuk penghapusan derau, kedua isyarat tersebut diubah kebentuk digital dengan pemilihan frekuensi cuplik 8000 Hz, dengan pertimbanganbahwa akan diperoleh frekuensi fundamentalnya yang mempunyai sedikitharmonisa.  Konsep kerja dari algoritma adaptif LMS ini adalah dengan mengurangkanderau yang mirip dengan derau pada isyarat masukannya,  kemudian akandiadaptasi oleh sistem dengan keluaran berupa galat. Indikasi kemampuan sebuahfilter adaptif untuk peghapusan derau, yaitu berupa galat yang mendekati nol, danmenghasilkan bobot optimal.   Kata Kunci: algoritma adaptif LMS, isyarat jatung     Abstract   Research on noise removal is necessary in a variety of requirements, one of which the medical field, namely to determine the condition of the fetal heart at a particular gestational age, as research by the author, or other fields. This study utilized the advantages of a system that can adapt itself, namely the LMS adaptive algorithm. This study uses the first two input signals in the form of fetal cardiac signals are already terinterferensi by maternal heart signals, and the second is the mother's cues are considered to be noise. The second way of taking cues should be done at the same time, by recording the second cue in a recorder with extension *. Wav. Before adapted for the removal of noise, both signals are converted to digital form with the selection cuplik frequency 8000 Hz, with the consideration that would be obtained fundamental frequency harmonics that have little. Working concept of adaptive LMS algorithm is by subtracting noise similar to the noise in the input signals, then be adapted by the system with the output of the error. Indication of the ability of an adaptive filter for noise peghapusan, namely the error near zero, and generate optimal weights. Keywords: LMS adaptive algorithm, cue heart

Abstract

The challenge of learning media in the world within the next 1 to 2 years is Bring Your Own Device. It forces the learning paradigm to think quickly to follow the development of technology that can optimally use it. In the Control Systems II course, there are some stereotypes that some of the material is mainly an Artificial Neural Network (ANN) was limited to theory and simulations and is difficult to be applied. Teaching aids are interpreted as teaching material that is used to help teachers in carrying out the teaching and learning activities in the classroom. The purposes of this study are: (1) to create teaching aid for ANN material to diagnose motorcycle damage in the Control System II Course (2) to define the accuracy of the application of the teaching aid for the material of ANN in the Control System II Course. The prototyping approach model is used to generally define the teaching aid product that will be developed. In detail, the development methods include (1) listen to the customer, (2) build or revise a mock-up, and (3) customer test drives mockup. Teaching aids products are built in the form of application for the diagnosis of motorcycle damages using the Back-Propagation ANN. This application can detect four types of motorcycle damages based on the sample sounds of motorcycles included. The application can recognize the type of damage from 100 new sound data outside its knowledge-base with a 60% accuracy level.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Beberapa mahasiswa mengalami kesulitan dalam menguasai sistem hidrolik dan pneumatik dikarenakan kesulitan dalam membayangkan atau mengimajinasikan gerakan-gerakan komponen sistem hidrolik dan pneumatik. Hal ini mengakibatkan hambatan pada penguasaan desain dan aplikasi sistem hidrolik dan pneumatik. Untuk mengatasi hal tersebut dosen pengajar mata kuliah Mekatronika menggunakan aplikasi Automation Studio. Software ini membantu dalam desain berbagai automasi, seperti kombinasi sistem hidrolik, sistem pneumatik, sistem elektrik dan PLC. Ceramah dosen dan simulasi desain yang dilakukan mahasiswa menggunakan bantuan Automation studio. Secara umum, mahasiswa sangat terbantu dengan software tersebut. Di sisi lain, ditemukan permasalahan dalam pengaplikasian program Automation Studio di kelas, misalnya terbatasnya menu program dan permasalahan seputar terbatasnya jumlah komputer. Implikasi dari pengalaman penulis dalam menggunakan Automation Studio adalah terbukanya peluang bagi para programer komputer untuk menciptakan program/software pembelajaran yang relevan dengan kompetensi tertentu, terjangkau, dan mudah digunakan. Selain itu disarankan juga agar dosen dan mahasiswa melakukan persiapan atau pengkondisian sebelum perkuliahan berjalan berkaitan dengan penyiapan software yang akan digunakan selama kuliah berlangsung.   Kata Kunci: automation studio program, learning process, Pneumatic and hydraulic learning

Abstract

This study established a system to implement Visual Basic 6.0 and the MySQL database for archives management that are effective and efficient in accordance with the needs of the administrative system in the Department of Electronics Engineering Education, Faculty of Engineering, YSU. Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0 is a software that is able to be applied on windows xp, vista, windows 7, or operating systems that are commonly used in offices. The application will be able to store the presence data of lecturers, incoming mails, outgoing mails, and the biodata of lecturers. In addition, with the crystal report, the system is able to print the archive reports, to search archives, and with the tools provided by Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0, it can be made into an installer application that can be run on other computers without having to reset the MySQL database.

Abstract

ABSTRACTStudents find it difficult to master the hydraulic and pneumatic system due to the lack of imagination on the component movement. It affects students’ learningprocess on the hydraulic and pneumatic system application. In order to solve the problem, the lecturer of Mechatronics course used the Automation Studio application. This software was helpful to design various automations, such as combination of hydraulic system, pneumatic system, electric system, and PLC. The lecturing process and design simulation were conducted by using Automation Studio. In general, the students were so much helped by this program in mastering the theory and practice of hydraulic and Pneumatic. On the other hand, it was found some problem in applying the Automation Studio on the classroom. The problems were limited onthe menu option as well ason the technical aspects related to the number of the computer. The implications from the writers’ experience in using Automation Studio were there was an opportunity for computer programmer to create learningmedia/ software for certain competence which was relevant, accessible and applicable. Also, in case of software preparation, it should be conducted by the lecturers and the students before the learning process.Keywords: automation studio program, learning process, Pneumatic and hydraulic learning

Abstract

This study discussed on a comparison of three cropping techniques for region of interest (ROI) detection of ultrasonography (USG) image. Ultrasound images are used to provide information about fetal development in the womb. The image generated by the two-dimensional ultrasound has not been able to provide complete information. Therefore, in order get the form of fetus on ultrasound image can be clearly identified with the necessary process of image analysis that can detect the boundaries of objects ROI, so that it can differentiate between one object with another object on the ultrasound image. Comparison results between the ROI detection with cropping methods namely rectanguler, circle and ellipse shapes are expected obtaining the best technique. It can be used in the ultrasound image segmentation process to obtain the best shape of the object of USG image. Based on the available data it can be concluded that the best ROI detection with cropping methods is produced by ellipse shape. The results show that ellipse shape of ROI Detection has the best accuracy compared to other cropping shapes. Based on the results, rectanguler and circle have the similar value. Therefore, MSE of ellipse is lower than rectanguler and circle shapes.

Abstract

ChatGPT technology opens up great education opportunities, especially in supporting the development of educator competencies needed in the 21st century. However, teacher competency in utilizing Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology is still low. As a result, existing learning media are not optimal in presenting engaging and interactive digital teaching materials according to the needs of students in the era of education 4.0. This community service aims to improve the competence of vocational high school teachers in using ChatGPT and AI applications for the development of learning media. This study involved 60 teachers from various fields. The methods used were lectures, discussions, and direct practice with online assistance. Teachers were trained to create interactive teaching materials using ChatGPT and other AI applications. The data analysis technique used qualitative descriptive analysis. The post-test results showed a significant increase in teacher competency in using AI applications, with an average score above 4 out of 5 in key aspects such as material usefulness and skill development. The activity results showed increased teachers' ability to utilize AI technology to create digital-based learning media, such as learning videos and interactive teaching materials. This activity significantly improves the quality of the learning process in vocational high schools. This training is expected to optimize teachers' digital skills to face challenges in the era of education 4.0.
