Abstract

Abstract: Having a family member of an autistic child is often a problem for a family, because not all family members can immediately accept the condition of the autistic child. Some think that autistic children become barriers to freedom in the family to act and carry out activities, because they must focus on serving and caring for children with autism. There are those who consider it a family disgrace, and a severe ordeal for all family members, so that the family experiences its own stressor, worried about the child's future. In fact, family acceptance to autistic children can support the development of the health of autistic children, especially their ability to interact with the environment, as seen from their attitudes towards children with autism. So in this study the author will look at how family attitudes toward the presence of autism children. This research was conducted with qualitative methods with a subjective approach and using phenomenological theory, to explore the experience of informants in depth. The results of the study found three family attitudes when they found out their children were autism, namely: (1) receiving, (2) accepting with rejection, (3) refusing. Abstract

Having an autistic child is a challenge for some parents because an autistic child should be treated specifically, based on condition and ability. The autistic child needs more extra attention than a non-autistic child because the attention from family can accelerate the development and ability of an autistic child, but not all parents can do the treatment because of various reasons. This study aimed to reveal the family's treatment which had an autistic child, especially parent or autistic's sister and brother. The study was done by using qualitative method with a phenomenological approach. The findings showed that there were three treatments of the family to treat an autistic child in daily life, they were extra attention, attention, and inattention. Extra attention was the informant included in the category who gave extra attention to a child. They were strongly caring about their child’s ability, food, and education. The attention category was an informant who did not fully give attention to their child, and not all time. The inattention category was an informant who rarely cares for their child, it related to the development of the child, education, and life.

Abstract

Nowdays the hijrah culture is becoming a trend. Not a few Muslim women who emigrated by wearing the veil as a face covering, but then it became a challenge for them when they get discrimination, which is linked to terrorism. The phenomenon of veiled Muslim women in Indonesia continues to increase until it has become a trendy outfit as evidenced by the number of veiled Muslim women who are increasingly open on Instagram in expressing themselves. This study uses a constructivist paradigm with qualitative methods and a phenomenological approach. The subject of the study is five Muslimah Instagram users. This study found that there was expressive self-disclosure with enlarged open areas (open self) and Islamic self-disclosure with enlarged hidden self areas. There are functions of expression, self validation, social control and relationship development experienced by veiled Muslim women, and there is no function of self clarification.  This study concluded that Muslims on Instagram can influence the community in removing the negative stigma of muslims and giving direction to other muslims to stay open and not shut away from society.

Abstract

Inovasi teknologi dikhawatirkan menyebabkan pengangguran massal. Namun Inovasi teknologi juga dibutuhkan dalam mendorong pertumbuhan ekonomi. Tujuan makalah ini adalah memahami dan meramalkan dampak inovasi teknologi terhadap tenaga kerja di Indonesia dengan pendekatan model John Hick yang di estimasi menggunakan model Threshold Autoregressive (TAR). Penelitian ini berusaha mengkontruksi dan memetakan dampak inovasi teknologi pada ketenaga-kerjaan serta mencari solusi mengatasi dilema inovasi teknologi dan ketenaga kerjaan dan mengkombinasi dengan metode kuantitatif content analysis.Kami menemukan bahwa inovasi teknologi  memiliki pengaruh terhadap ketenagakerjaan,potensi pembukaan peluang kerja baru sebagai dampak positif inovasi teknologi sebagai kompensasi penekanan kesempatan kerja akibat inovasi teknologi.Kata Kunci :  Indonesia, Pengangguran, Inovasi, Teknologi.

Abstract

AbstractTourism promotion is one of the effective efforts to promote city tourism. The success of promotion is influenced by many aspects, such as the ability of the communicator to set communication goals so that the message conveyed is attractive and effective. The purpose of this study was to know the practice of tourism promotion, the interpretation of Pagaralam City Government employees on tourism promotion activities and their roles, and the relationship between Pagaralam City Government employees and the public. Researchers used a qualitative research design with a phenomenological tradition. This study found that the chosen type of tourism promotion was publicity, print publication, electronic and internet media. Their interpretation of tourism promotion activities in Pagaralam is formulated into two categories, namely promotion of activities as promotional activities and substantial promotion as formal promotions. The relation between the public relations officer and the public is going well. AbstrakPromosi pariwisata merupakan salah satu upaya efektif untuk mempromosikan pariwisata kota. Keberhasilan promosi dipengaruhi oleh banyak aspek, seperti kemampuan komunikator dalam menetapkan tujuan komunikasi agar pesan yang disampaikan menarik dan efektif. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui praktek promosi pariwisata, interpretasi pegawai Pemerintah Kota Pagaralam terhadap kegiatan promosi pariwisata dan peran mereka, dan hubungan antara pegawai Pemerintah Kota Pagaralam dan publik. Peneliti menggunakan desain penelitian kualitatif dengan tradisi fenomenologi. Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa jenis promosi pariwisata yang dipilih adalah publisitas, publikasi dengan percetakan, media elektrotik dan internet. Interpretasi mereka atas kegiatan promosi pariwisata di Pagaralam dirumuskan dalam dua kategori, yaitu promosi kegiatan sebagai kegiatan promosi dan promosi substansial sebagai promosi formal. Hubungan antara petugas humas dan publik berjalan baik.

Abstract

Currently the mass media has become the need of almost everyone, which is not only consumed by adults, but by all circles, and also with children. Mass communication certainly provides information or messages to the audience about everything. Mass communication is a communication process conducted by communicators through mass media with the target is the public, so focus of mass communication studies is the media. There are many functions of mass communication, one of them is the function of social heritage. In the social heritage is also included the function of educating, providing information and cultural transmission. Because, if discussing about culture, it will include three of things: ideas, activities and objects of activity, are a part or element of social heritage. One example of the function of social heritage conveyed through the mass media is the “Jejak Rasul” program. Through the event, the television media pass on ideas to the audience (especially da'i as the next generation) to teach Islam to non-Muslims with the method used by Prophet Muhammad SAW, so the da'wah that will be delivered by da'i will succeed and reach the target, including the idea of ​​the formation of civil society which is also a legacy for the Islamic community to this day. The idea passed from generation to generation that further includes the culture, so that it functions also as a cultural transmission.

Abstract

Keberagaman ormas Islam di Indonesia menyebabkan adanya perbedaan tafsir terhadap banyak hal, terutama yang terkait dengan masalah ibadah yang bersifat furu’iyah. Pada kenyataannya perbedaan tersebut tidak dijadikan landasan untuk saling memahami, akan tetapi diperuncing sehingga pada akhirnya dapat menimbulkan konflik internal. Harapan damai dan rukun umat Islam akan terjawab apabila kita menengok di salah satu daerah gedangan di Perumahan besar di Puri Surya Jaya Masjid Sholahuddin Gedangan Sidorajo Jawa Timur. Kerukunan beberapa organisasi kemasyarakatan tersebut dapat dijadikan sebagai kiblat, model atau contoh dalam pembinaan kerukunan antar organisasi masyarakat di wilayah lain. Penelitian ini hendak menjawab mengenai bagaimana Negoisasi identitas Abah Majid dalam menciptakan harmonisasi sosial pada ukhuwah Islamiyah di Masjid Sholahuddin Gedangan Sidoarjo Jawa Timur? Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif, dengan menggunakan rancangan studi kasus. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan komunikasi yang selalu berisi kebaikan yang Abah Majid lakukan kepada para jama’ah ukhuwah Islamiyah menimbulkan respon baik dan suasana keharmonisan sosial terjalin. Dengan menekankan sikap kepekaan, toleransi, harus solid, dan saling support satu sama lain, memberikan pujian pernghargaan. Selanjutnya adanya komunikasi Abah Majib melalui facework ketimbangrasaan (tact facework), dan facework solidaritas (solidarity facework).

Abstract

Currently there are many children who have to deal with the law, caused by cases of fights, robberies, murders. To deal with children who are affected by this case, a rehabilitation center is needed as a place for protection and education for children. Center for Social Rehabilitation of Children Requiring Special Protection “Handayani Jakarta” is a rehabilitation center that provides religious guidance as a method of rehabilitation for children involved in criminal cases. Religious Supervisors, in this case called da'i have an important role to choose the right communication in increasing children's religious awareness so they don't repeat their actions. This study aims to determine the interpersonal communication of preachers at BRSAMPK Handayani Jakarta and the interpersonal communication of preachers in increasing the religious awareness of children in conflict with the law. The theory used in this study is the theory of competence communication, while the method used is a qualitative method with a constructivist paradigm. Data collection techniques through direct observations, interviews, and document studies. The results of the study show that preachers in building interpersonal communication are by understanding children's character, fostering children's trust, providing guidance with a sense of humor, using language that is easy to understand and applying a firm attitude in guidance. In increasing ABH's religious awareness, the way of interpersonal communication used by da'i is to provide motivation, communicate persuasively, and conduct question and answer dialogue.

Abstract

Anies Rasyid Baswedan was the Governor of DKI Jakarta who always shares various information and policies on his personal Instagram account @anesbaswedan. This is because, in this era, Instagram is not only used to express oneself, but also to implement policy transparency and information disclosure with the aim of increasing public trust. One of which is Anies Rasyid Baswedan. Based on this, in this study, researchers looked at the dimensions of the epic model that were most influential in increasing public trust in the @aniesbaswedan Instagram account and saw the effectiveness of the @anesbaswedan Instagram account in increasing public trust based on the EPIC Model. The theory used in this study is the EPIC Model, which is a marketing communication effectiveness measurement tool developed by AC Nielson. This study uses a positivism paradigm with a quantitative approach. The analysis technique used is simple tabulation, the average score is then entered into the EPIC Model scale range. The results of this study indicate that the most influential dimension in this study is the Empathy dimension with a score of 4.26 and the Instagram account @anesbaswedan is declared effective based on an EPIC rate calculation of 4.05 in increasing public trust.
