Abstract

This study aims to describe the development of madrasa education system in African continent. It also explores the development of madrasa in Taraba State, Nigeria. This research used a descriptive method. The results showed that in African continent, madrasa institutions had their historical developments, financial support and how British colonial influenced their development. In Nigeria, madrasa institutions have had similar developments with their counterparts from other countries in the African continent. British colonialism has reduced the supremacy of madrasa in terms of financial and managerial capacity. In Taraba State, Nigeria, there are several different forms of traditional non-formal Islamic education. Their forms include madrasa qur'anic college with the evolutionary development around Alaramma; madrasa whose mobility is limited; and Islamic school. The three educational institutions are recognized by the government and they have experienced modernization in terms of their management for the Qur'an program and their Western infrastructure use.

Abstract

Radical actions can be carried out by various community groups, especially those with low religious and national understanding. The purpose of this study was to examine how the program and the results of the program of Islamic Spiritual Organizations at SMK in an effort to deradicalize, and how the results of student understanding related to radicalism. The methodology used is descriptive-qualitative method, which is trying to obtain a factual picture of the implementation of Islamic Spiritual activities at SMK and MA in Sukabumi. Subject Students are members of Rohis at SMK and MA in Sukabumi Regency. One IT Vocational High School in Sukabumi Regency and one private MA in Sukabumi were selected. The technique of collecting data through observation, interviews, and distributing questionnaires, obtained 31 respondents who filled out the questionnaire. The results showed that there were no seminars related to the theme of deradicalization, the Rohis program was only routine religious activities, such as recitations, celebrations of religious holidays and regular studies so that all respondents needed an understanding of deradicalization in order to stay away from radicalism. What is wrong regarding radicals is definitely terrorists even though that is not the case, students only know that there is intolerance, ethnicity, religion, and race issues between groups as triggers for radical actions. Tindakan radikal bisa dilakukan oleh berbagai kelompok masyarakat, terutama yang pemahaman keagamaan dan kebangsaannya rendah. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengkaji bagaimana program dan hasil program organisasi Rohani Islam SMK dalam upaya deradikalisasi, dan bagaimana hasil pemahaman siswa terkait radikalisme. Metodologi yang dipergunakan adalah metode deskriptif-kualitatif, yakni berusaha memperoleh gambaran faktual tentang pelaksanaan kegiatan Rohani Islam pada SMK dan MA di Sukabumi. Subjek Siswa anggota Rohis pada SMK dan MA di Kabupaten Sukabumi. Terpilih satu SMK IT di Kabupaten Sukabumi dan satu MA swasta di Sukabumi. Teknik mengumpulkan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan penyebaran angket, diperoleh 31 responden yang mengisi angket. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa belum ada dan belum pernah ada seminar terkait tema deradikalisasi, program Rohis hanya kegiatan keagamaan rutin, seperti pengajian, perayaan hari besar keagamaan dan kajian rutinan sehingga seluruh responden membutuhkan pemahaman tentang deradikalisasi agar terjauh dari radikalisme, menurutnya selama ini ada cara pandangan yang salah terkait orang radikal pasti teroris padahal bukan itu, siswa baru tahu bahwa adanya intoleran, masalah suku, agama, dan ras antar golongan sebagai pemicu tindakan radikal.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh beberapa permasalahan yang terjadi di SMPN 1 Cariu Kecamatan Cariu Bogor dalam pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam, salah satunya masih rendahnya keaktifan belajar siswa di kelas VII 8. Oleh karena itu, untuk meningkatkan keaktifan belajar siswa salah satu metode yang diasumsikan mampu meningkatkan keaktifan belajar siswa adalah metode pembelajaran probing prompting dengan media gambar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana keaktifan belajar siswa sebelum diterapkannya metode pembelajaran probing prompting dengan media gambar, penerapan metode pembelajaran probing prompting dengan media gambar, dan bagaimana peningkatan keaktifan belajar siswa setelah penerapan metode pembelajaran probing prompting dengan media gambar. Penelitian ini menggunakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilakukan dalam dua siklus. Masing-masing siklus meliputi empat tahap yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi dan refleksi. Penelitian dilaksanakan di kelas VII 8 dengan jumlah siswa 35 orang. Adapun istrumen yang digunakan yaitu silabus, RPP, lembar observasi guru dan siswa serta angket siswa. Hasil yang diperoleh pada penelitian ini terjadi peningkatan keaktifan belajar siswa. Siklus 1 hasil observasi keaktifan belajar siswa memperoleh persentase 73,28% dikategorikan aktif diperkuat dengan hasil angket keaktifan belajar siswa dengan persentase 76,19% dikategorikan aktif. Siklus II hasil observasi keaktifan belajar siswa memperoleh persentase 86,78% dikategorikan sangat aktif diperkuat dengan hasil angket keaktifan belajar siswa dengan persentase 84,41% dikategorikan sangat aktif.

Abstract

Pendidikan dalam islam merupakan pondasi yang penting dalam membangun jatidiri sebagai seorang muslim. Muslim yang dibekali dengan pendidikan akan tumbuh menjadi manusia yang paripurna  karena dalam dirinya sudah terinternalisasi nilai-nilai luhur  akhlak yang mulia dan ilmu yang manfaat. Dalam islam tujuan pendidikan adalah sebagaimana tujuan hidup ketika manusia diciptakan yaitu sebagai khalifah dimuka bumi yang tugasnya adalah beribadah hanya kepada Allah. Maka untuk sampai kepada kualitas itu ada proses yang agung dan sistematis yaitu pendidikan. Dalam Alquran banyak sekali ayat-ayat sebagai isyarah terkait dengan tujuan pendidikan dimana hal tersebut menjadi dasar dan panduan untuk penjabaran bagaimana proses pendidikan mesti diwujudkan sehingga tujuannya bisa tercapai. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi literatur yang sumber datanya diambil dari data primer yaitu jurnal, tesis, makalah prosiding dan hasil penelitian terdahulu yang relevan dengan tema tujuan pendidikan islam. Serta data referensi sekunder yaitu buku dan website internet. Adapun tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menggali isyarah yang terdapat dalam Alquran mengenai tujuan pendidikan islam sehingga  tujuan pendidikan islam menjadi lebih terukur, terarah dan sistematis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendidikan islam yang dikaji dari ayat-ayat Alquran begitu sempurna karena mewadahi kebutuhan jasmani dan ruh manusia dibandingkan dengan pendidikan sekuler yang kering aspek spiritualitasnya.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine: the reality of student responses to the application of the habituation program, the reality of students' ability to read the Qur'an, the reality of the relationship between students' responses to the application of the habituation program and their ability to read the Qur'an. This study uses a quantitative approach with a correlational method. Respondents are students of class VIII at SMPN 1 Cileunyi totaling 50 people. The data collection techniques used are; questionnaires, tests, observations, interviews and document studies. The data analysis techniques used are; partial analysis, normality test, regression test, correlation test and hypothesis testing. Based on the results of the study, conclusions were obtained: 1) The reality of student responses to the application of the habituation program was included in the very positive category. the average value is 4.45. This figure is in the interval 4.20 – 5.00 which means it has a very positive category. 2) The reality of students' ability to read the Qur'an is included in the sufficient category. The average value taken is 66.0. This number is in the 60-69 interval which means it has a sufficient category. 3) Reality The relationship between students' responses to the application of the habituation program (Variable X) with their ability to read the Qur'an (Variable Y) is included in a positive and significant correlation. This is based on the Spearman rank correlation test, the results show a value of 0.01% which is in the interval 0.00 0.99, which means it is categorized into a positive correlation. Based on the attached hypothesis test, it can be seen that (-0.01) < (0.279) then is rejected and 0 is accepted. The correlation used follows the linear regression equation model Y= 59.13 + 0.0077. Based on the equation, it can be seen that the (+) sign indicates an increase or increase in students' ability to read the Qur'an. The coefficient of determination reaches 1% and the remaining 99% is influenced by other factors.

Abstract

This study aims to determine: 1) The reality of student responses to the use of thematic integrative learning models, 2) The reality of student learning motivation in PAI subjects. 3) The reality of the relationship between students' responses to the use of integrative thematic learning models and students' learning motivation. Through a quantitative approach and descriptive correlation method. Data collection techniques are; interviews, observations, questionnaires, and document studies. Data analysis was carried out with a logical approach for qualitative data and a statistical approach for quantitative data. With partial analysis of indicators and correlation analysis. Based on the results of data analysis, it was concluded that: 1) The reality of student responses to the use of the integrative thematic learning model was categorized as positive with an average value of 3.89. 2) The reality of student learning motivation in PAI subjects is in the high category with an average value of 3.9. 3) The relationship between students' responses to the use of the thematic integrative learning model (X) and students' learning motivation in PAI lessons (Y) belongs to the category of positive and significant correlation. With the Spearman rank correlation test, the results obtained are 0.06 which is in the interval 0.00 0.99 which means that it is categorized into a positive correlation. The correlation used follows the linear regression equation model Y= 41.11+0.27. Based on the equation, it can be seen that the (+) sign indicates an increase in students' learning motivation in line with the increase in students' positive responses to the integrative thematic learning model.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the relationship between student responses to the use of YouTube learning videos and the cognitive learning outcomes of PAI and Budi Pekerti. The method used is correlational with a quantitative approach. Respondents were 44 students of class VIII. The results of this study: 1) The reality of student responses to the use of youtube-based learning videos (X) is classified as good with an average final score of 3.72. 2) The reality of students' cognitive learning outcomes in PAI and Budi Pekerti (Y) subjects is classified as very good with an average score of 84.3. 3) The relationship between variables X and Y is positive and significant, indicated by rxy = 0.91, correlation significance test tcount 14.39 > ttable 2.02. The conclusion of the study is that there is a positive and significant correlation. The higher students' responses to the use of youtube-based learning videos, the higher their cognitive learning outcomes in PAI and Budi Pekerti subjects.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out how far the relationship between students' responses to the habit of muhasabah in PAI subjects is. The method is a correlational method with a quantitative approach. Respondents in this study amounted to 44 students of class VIII at SMPN 3 Bandung. This research approach is a quantitative approach using the correlation method. Respondents are 44 students of class VIII SMPN 3 Bandung, data collection techniques: Questionnaires, interviews, observations, and document studies. Data analysis was carried out with a logical approach for qualitative data and a statistical approach for quantitative data. Data collection techniques in the form of questionnaires, interviews, observations, and document studies. Based on the results of data analysis, conclusions were obtained: 1) The reality of student responses to muhasabah habituation (Variable X) was included in the positive category with an average value of 4.48 which was in the interval 3.51-4.50. 2) The reality of student learning motivation in PAI subjects (Variable Y) is included in the high category with a score of 4.28 in the interval 3.51-4.50. 3) The relationship between students responses to the habit of muhasabah with their learning motivation is positive and significant. Shown by the results of the correlation significance test obtained, namely: t_count 3.99> t_table 2.02. The correlation coefficient value is 0.52. The coefficient of determination reaches 27%, which means that there are 73% of other factors that influence their learning motivation in Islamic Religious Education subjects.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between students' perceptions of professional teacher competence and their learning motivation during the COVID-19 pandemic in PAI subjects in class XII IPA SMAN 5 Bandung. This study uses a quantitative approach with descriptive methods and ex-postfacto research model. While the data collection techniques through observation, interviews, questionnaires and literature study. The data analysis uses a statistical approach with four approaches, namely partial analysis, normality test, correlative test, and Pearson's product moment. From the research results obtained: (1) students' perceptions of the professional competence of teachers are included in the high category with an average score of all indicators of the X variable, which is 3.96 which is in the interval 3.51-4.50; (2) their learning motivation in PAI subjects during the covid-19 pandemic was in the very high category with an average score of all Y variable indicators, which was 3.70 which was at an interval of 3.51-4.50; (3) the correlation of the two variables is 0.36, while the degree of freedom of the influence of the X variable on the Y variable is 10%. Thus there are still 90% of other factors that affect their learning motivation.
