Abstract

The rising global competition makes State Islamic University (UIN) Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung, to increase the quality of its institution toward World Class University. This study aims to describe the university policies and the recommended top priority programs for the next five years (2019-2023). This study was conducted in 2019 on the campus. The study used descriptive analysis and the result was analyzed based on Quacquarelly Symonds (QS) ranking. The data was gathered using a forum group discussion and field study. The field study was in the form of benchmarking on several universities in Indonesia. The result showed that the growth rate was constant, and it can be meassured that UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung will become World Class University by 2029; It will have score 23 and will be in the 500 QS Asia World University ranking. Through annual programs and targets, UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung can achieve its goals to be a world class university. Abstract

Every early childhood must experience various stages of development in his life, from several kinds of development, one of which is the aspect of emotional intelligence. Modern times like today have an impact on the decline in children's awareness to control their emotional intelligence. Thus, controlling children's emotional intelligence must be taught fasting from an early age. In addition, children are also directed to stimulate their emotional intelligence. This study was conducted to determine whether children who are able to increase their emotional intelligence from an early age can influence Islamic religious education in their teens. The purpose of this study was to determine how effective the implementation process of increasing emotional intelligence in early childhood affects Islamic religious education at the age of teenagers. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method with a case study approach. The data collection technique used is the method of observation, interviews and documentation. The research method uses a triangulation technique, namely an approach to the teacher and field observations. The results of this study, that in an effort to increase the emotional intelligence of early childhood physiologically, then when a teenager will be seen the level of honesty, responsibility, visionary, discipline, cooperate with teachers, parents and friends, and he has behaved fairly and cares about the call. the teacher. When he was a teenager he would diligently fast without being asked and he would easily achieve his goals. Setiap anak usia dini pasti mengalami berbagai tahapan pada perkembangan dalam hidupnya, dari beberapa macam perkembangan salah satunya adalah aspek kecerdasan emosional. Zaman modern seperti saat ini berdampak pada menurunnya kesadaran anak untuk mengendalikan kecerdasan emosionalnya. Sehingga, mengontrol kecerdasan emosional anak harus diajarkan puasa sejak dini. Selain itu anak juga diarahkan untuk menstimulus kecerdasan emosionalnya. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan untuk mengetahui apakah anak yang mampu meningkatkan kecerdasan emosinya sejak usia dini dapat mempengaruhi Pendidikan Agama Islam pada usia remajanya. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui seberapa efektif proses pelaksanaan meningkatkan kecerdasan emosi anak usia dini yang mempengaruhi Pendidikan Agama Islam pada usia remajanya. Pada penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah metode observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Metode penelitian dengan teknik triangulasi yakni pendekatan ke guru dan pengamatan di lapangan. Hasil penelitian ini, bahwa dalam upaya meningkatkan kecerdasan emosi anak usia dini secara fisiologis, maka ketika remaja akan terlihat tingkat kejujuran, tanggungjawab, visioner, disiplin, bekerjasama dengan guru, orang tua dan teman-temannya, serta ia telah berperilaku adil dan peduli terhadap seruan gurunya. Ketika remaja ia akan rajin berpuasa tanpa disuruh dan ia akan dengan mudah mencapai cita-citanya.

Abstract

Permaslahan dalam penelitian ini adalah dalam penggunaan media ketika waktu pembelajaran belangsung. Dimana guru terlihat tidak pernah memakai media dalam proses pembelajaran. Sehingga hal terseut berpengaruh terhadap kegiatan belajar mengajar yang tidak efktif dan membuat siswa jenuh sehingga tidak terlatihnya siswa di dalam memecahkan masalah.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuktikan sejauh mana penggunaan media dalam pembelajaran khususnya media Visual Flipchart mampu meningkatkan kemampuan memecahkan masalah. Metode yang digunkana dalam penelitian ini adalah eksperimen semu yang bersifat kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian membuktikan bahwa media Visual Flipchart mampu meningkatkan kemampuan memecahkan masalah siswa pada mata pelajaran pendidikan agama Islam. Hal ini terlihat adanya peningkatan yang sidnifikan di kelas eksperimen.

Abstract

Keluarga sebagai lembaga pendidikan yang pertama dan utama, keberadaannya menentukan masa depan anak. Dengan tanpa perhatian yang serius dan kasih sayang yang penuh dari kedua orang tua terutama, maka sudah barang tentu pada gilirannya akan sulit terjadi pertumbuhan dan perkembangan jiwa dan mental anak yang sehat dan normal, yang akhirnya sangat berpengaruh terhadap kepribadian anak itu sendiri. Munculnya permasalahan perilaku menyimpang pada anak dan remaja merupakan gambaran dari efek gagalnya bimbingan orang tua di rumah. Salah satu bentuk kepedulian pemerintah Putrajawa terhadap hal tersebut bekerja sama dengan tim PKM UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung akan memberikan sebuah pelatihan bimbingan orang tua dalam mengembangkan kepribadian anak. Metode kegiatan dalam pelatihan berupa seminar dan diskusi serta simulasi seminar diberikan kepada peserta dalam rangka memberikan pengetahuan dan pemahaman tentang bagaimana membimbing perkembangan anak yang tepat. Materi yang akan disajikan sebanyak enam materi mulai dari konsep sampai implementasi. Hasil pelatihan ini dapat dinyatakan berhasil. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari: (1) kehadiran peserta sesuai dengan target yaitu 92% (2) hasil pelatihan dinyatakan sangat baik. (3) Peserta sangat antusias mengikuti pelatihan yang dilihat dari keseriusan mengikuti pelatihan.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine (1) the attitude of santri toward parenting boarding schools (2) discipline in congregational prayers (3) the attitude of santri towards parenting boarding schools in relation to their discipline in congregational prayer at Islamic boarding school students of the Qur'an Orphans and dhuafa Al-Lathifah. This study uses a quantitative approach. The method used in this study is the correlation research method which is a study comparing the measurement results of the two variables whether there is a relationship between variable X (students' attitudes toward boarding school parenting) and Y variable (discipline in congregational prayer). Based on the results of the study, it was concluded that (1) the attitude of students toward parenting boarding schools obtained an average value of 4.16, with positive qualifications because it is in the interval from 3.40 to 4.19, (2) discipline in congregational prayer obtains a value of 4.5 with high qualifications because it is in the interval 3.40 - 4.19 (3) Whereas students' attitudes toward the boarding school parenting relationship with discipline in prayer in congregation are (a) the correlation coefficient value of 0.34 with low qualifications because are at intervals (0,200 - 0,399), (b) Hypotheses are accepted. This means that the more positive attitude of students towards parenting boarding schools, the higher the level of discipline in congregational prayer, because it shows tcount 2.40> ttable 0.29 and (c) the degree of influence between variable X and Y variables there is a significant relationship that has an influence by 6% means that it is estimated that there are still other influences of 94% which affect both internal and external factors on discipline in congregational prayer.AbstrakTujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui (1) sikap santri terhadap pola asuh pondok pesantren (2) kedisiplinan dalam salat berjamaah (3) sikap santri terhadap pola asuh pondok pesantren hubungannya dengan kedisiplinan mereka dalam salat berjamaah pada santri Pondok Pesantren Qur’an Yatim piatu dan dhuafa Al-Lathifah. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Adapun metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian korelasi yaitu penelitian yang membandingkan hasil pengukuran dari dua variabel apakah ada hubungan antara variabel X (sikap santri terhadap pola asuh pondok pesantren) dan variabel Y (kedisiplinan dalam salat berjamaah). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang diperoleh, disimpulkan bahwa (1) sikap santri terhadap pola asuh pondok pesantren memperoleh nilai rata-rata 4,16, dengan kualifikasi positif karena berada pada interval 3,40 – 4,19, (2) kedisiplinan dalam salat berjamaah memperoleh nilai 4,5 dengan kualifikasi tinggi karena berada pada interval 3,40 – 4,19 (3) sikap santri terhadap pola asuh pondok pesantren hubungannya dengan kedisiplinan dalam salat berjamaah adalah (a) nilai koefisien korelasinya sebesar 0,34 dengan kualifikasi rendah karena berada pada interval (0,200 – 0,399), (b) Hipotesis diterima. Artinya semakin positif sikap santri terhadap pola asuh pondok pesantren maka semakin tinggi pula tingkat kedisiplinan dalam salat berjamaah, karena menunjukkan thitung 2,40 > ttabel 0,29 dan (c) derajat pengaruh antara variabel X dan variabel Y terdapat hubungan yang signifikan yaitu memiliki pengaruh sebesar 6% artinya diperkirakan masih ada pengaruh lain sebesar 94% yang mempengaruhi baik dari faktor internal maupun eksternal terhadap kedisiplinan dalam salat berjamaah.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine (1) students’ understanding of before applying the role playing learning model (2) the implementation of the role playing learning model (3) the result after applying the role playing learning model. The research method used is PTK. Steps of PTK includes: planning, implementation, observation and reflection, this PTK was carried out in two cycles. Data collection tools: observation, tests, interviews and documentation studies. Data analysis uses a simple logical and statistical approach. The result showed that: (1) before the role playing learning model was applied, students’ understanding of the moral aqidah material was: 68,3; (2) the process of applying the method: the teacher mentions the learning material, the teacher makes the student into three groups, the students are selected to act out the drama script, the other students stay in their groups and observe the acting, after the performance is finished each group is given a worksheet for discussion, group representatives presenting the result of the discussion, the teacher conveys general conclusions, and at the end the teacher distributes test questions of student; (3) students’ understanding after the role playing learning model is applied is 83,53 there is an increase in understanding of 15,23. Thus, it can be concluded that the application of the role playing leraning model is able to improve the understanding of moral aqidah subjects in class VIII students with the material “The negative impact of hasad, revenge and backbiting”, this is evidenced by the number of students being able to answer some of the questions or quations given.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the relationship between student responses to the use of YouTube learning videos and the cognitive learning outcomes of PAI and Budi Pekerti. The method used is correlational with a quantitative approach. Respondents were 44 students of class VIII. The results of this study: 1) The reality of student responses to the use of youtube-based learning videos (X) is classified as good with an average final score of 3.72. 2) The reality of students' cognitive learning outcomes in PAI and Budi Pekerti (Y) subjects is classified as very good with an average score of 84.3. 3) The relationship between variables X and Y is positive and significant, indicated by rxy = 0.91, correlation significance test tcount 14.39 > ttable 2.02. The conclusion of the study is that there is a positive and significant correlation. The higher students' responses to the use of youtube-based learning videos, the higher their cognitive learning outcomes in PAI and Budi Pekerti subjects.

Abstract

At this time, student motivation in learning Islamic Religious Education is still relatively low, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic. Various media were developed to support online learning. However, there are still many students who are indifferent during the learning process. This study aims to determine: (i) the reality of student responses to online learning during the covid-19 pandemic in class XI vocational high school Wiraswasta Cimahi, (ii) the reality of student learning motivation in Islamic religious education subjects in class XI vocational high schoolWiraswasta Cimahi, and (iii)the relationship between student responses to online learning during the COVID-19 pandemic and student motivation in Islamic religious education subjects in class XI vocational high schoolWiraswasta Cimahi. This study uses a quantitative approach with a descriptive method. In this study the sample was taken from 35 students of class XI vocational high schoolWiraswasta Cimahi. Data analysis of the two variables was carried out using statistical methods which were divided into two approaches, namely partial analysis and correlation analysis. Based on the results of the study, it was concluded: (i) the reality of student responses to online learning during the covid-19 pandemic was categorized as positive, at intervals of 3.40 - 4.19 (ii) the reality of their learning motivation in Islamic Religious Education subjects was categorized as good, at intervals 3.40 – 4.19, and (iii) the relationship between students' responses to online learning during the covid-19 pandemic with their learning motivation in Islamic Religious Education subjects is (a) a correlation coefficient of 0.58 including in the medium or medium category . (b) The hypothesis is accepted because t arithmetic is 4.09 greater than t table with (1.69), and (c) The degree of relationship between variable X and variable Y is 34%. Therefore, there is a relationship or influence between student responses to online learning during the COVID-19 pandemic and their learning motivation in Islamic Religious Education subjects

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan Tantangan Pengelolaan Pembelajaran PAI di Perguruan Tinggi Umum. Dalam visi PAI untuk Perguruan Tinggi disebutkan bahwa PAI bervisi menjadikan ajaran Islam sebagai sumber nilai dan pedoman yang mengantarkan mahasiswa dalam pengembangan profesi dan kepribadian Islami. Dalam dinamika pengelolaan pembelajaran PAI di Perguruan Tinggi harus diperkuat dengan strategi dan penguatan kebaragaman serta terbuka dalam teknologi informasi. Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif yaitu proses penelitian dan pemahaman yang berdasarkan pada metodologi yang menyelidiki suatu fenomena sosial dan masalah manusia. Pada pendekatan ini, peneliti membuat suatu gambaran kompleks, meneliti kata-kata, laporan terinci dari pandangan responden, dan melakukan studi pada situasi yang alami. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pengelolaan pembelajaran PAI harus merujuk kepada penguatan pemahaman agama berlandaskan Iman, Islam dan Ihsan. Pendekatan yang dapat digunakan dalam pengajaran dan pembelajaran PAI; pendekatan psikologis, sosio kultural, dan saintifik. Dari segi kutikulum, mahasiswa seharusnya diajarkan dan dibiasakan tidak hanya dengan materi-materi yang bersifat normatif-doktrinal-deduktif namun juga materi yang bersifat historis-empiris-induktif. Dalam mengadapi tantangannya seperti; banyaknya mahasiswa yang belum lancar membaca al-Qur’an, masih terkontaminasi pemahaman liar dari penggunan gadget, pergaulan di luar norma dan kesusilaan, berkenaan dengan alokasi waktu belajar yang 2 sks, dan menghadapi dunia global tentunya harus disiapkan secara utuh dengan penguatan nilai-nilai Islam dan karakter kebangsaan agar terciptanya pendidikan yang berkualitas dan keunggulan dalam menjawab tantangan zaman.

Abstract

This study was motivated by the low religious character of students so that in an effort to overcome this, the school issued a policy of holding weekly activities in the form of "teenage confessions". This study aims to examine the analysis of school policies in improving religious character through religious activities "teenage confession" at NU Shofiyatul Huda Junior High School. This research uses a qualitative approach with phenomonology method. Data collection techniques are interviews and documentation. The research subjects were teachers and students with the research location at SMP NU Shofiyatul Huda while the data analysis technique was triangulation. This study found that the "Youth Curhat" activity at NU Shofiyatul Huda Junior High School is part of the school policy in deepening students' understanding of religious values. Strong support from all parties and active involvement of students and teachers in this activity reflect the school's real efforts in shaping students' religious character. A thorough evaluation process also shows the positive impact of this program in broadening students' understanding and increasing their involvement in religious activities, creating positive changes in students' attitudes and actions towards religious values in daily life.
