Abstract

Most of the northern flank of Mt. Ungaran is subject to intensive land occupation that makes landuse change inevitable. The research objectives of this study were to examine the spatial patterns of land-use dynamics from 1997 to 2018 and to analyze their impact on the rural–urban structure of Gunungpati sub-district using on-screen digitation. Rural–urban structure was analyzed based on landuse composition by area in each village. This research revealed that forest areas and paddy fields were decreasing year by year. Over the study period of 21 years, Gunungpati experienced deforestation of 1,777 ha and increase in built-up area of 1,295 ha, forcing shifting in rural structure. Most villages that were categorized as rural frame zones in 1997 had changed into urban–rural frame zones by 2018. This situation must be controlled, since much of Gunungpati territory plays a significant role as a groundwater recharge zone for the Semarang lowland area.

Abstract

The purposes of this research are to analyze the pattern of coastal spatial changes in Kendal Regency from 1910 to 2009, and to formulate coastal area zoning plan based on spatial changes. The Method of analysed was with overlay technique. Research results show that the coastal spatial changes of produced 5 (five) patterns of  coastline changes: (1) coastline spatial change with abrasion pattern, (2)  coastline spatial change with accretion pattern, (3)  coastline spatial change with accretion pattern folllowed by abrasion, (4) coastline spatial change with accretion pattern then stable, (5) coastline spatial change with stagnant pattern. These spatial changes also altered the shape of Bodri Delta from Cuspate to Lobate. These changes also indicate the alter of geomorphic energy from being destructive to being constructive.  Additionally, the research also produced  a new product in the form of a map of Kendal District coastal layout zoning.

Abstract

Background: Kemajuan teknologi pada era industri 4.0 yang merupakan era digital menuntut segala informasi untuk mudah diakses termasuk informasi spasial. Salah satunya adalah informasi tentang pengunaan lahan di suatu wilayah. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan bagi perangkat kelurahan dalam mengelola data dan peta penggunaan lahan di wilayahnya. Metode: Mitra kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah perangkat Kelurahan Pakintelan, Kelurahan Sekaran dan Kelurahan Patemon. Peserta bimtek sejumlah enam orang perangkat dari ketiga kelurahan tersebut. Kegiatan dilakukan dengan memberikan bimbingan teknis (bimtek) untuk mengelola data dan peta penggunaan lahan. Hasil: Hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan perangkat kelurahan dalam mengelola data dan peta penggunaan lahan di wilayah masing-masing. Selain itu tersedianya peta penggunaan lahan terbaru untuk ketiga kelurahan. Kesimpulan: Peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan perangkat kelurahan dalam mengelola data dan peta penggunaan lahan dapat membantu dalam mewujudkan tertib administrasi di tingkat kelurahan di Kota Semarang.

Abstract

Intrusi air asin adalah suatu peristiwa penyusupan air asin ke dalam akuifer di mana air asin menggantikan atau tercampur dengan air tanah tawar yang ada di dalam akuifer. Permasalahan yang timbul dengan adanya intrusi air asin adalah rusaknya air tanah akibat kontaminasi mineral garam laut. karakteristik geomorfologi wilayah Desa Sriwulan, Kecamatan Sayung, Kabupaten Demak yang cenderung datar dan sifat materialnya yang didominasi oleh sedimen alluvial membuat daya resapan air laut semakin tinggi. Penggunaan air tanah yang telah mengalami intrusi untuk dikonsumsi maupun kegiatan lain untuk keperluan domestik, dapat mengganggu kesehatan, karena air ini telah mengandung senyawa garam yang tinggi dan dapat mengganggu metabolisme yang terjadi di dalam tubuh manusia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui distribusi intrusi air asin. Pengukuran geolistrik dilakukan pada tanggal 24 – 25 April 2020. Pengukuran intrusi air asin sendiri diolah dengan menggunakan software Progress untuk mendapatkan interpretasi bawah permukaan menggunaan metode geolistrik resistivitas. Berdasarkan Hasil interpretasi penampang litologi, intrusi air asin terjadi pada kedalaman 0 – 30 m yang memiliki litologi lempung dan lanau pada seluruh lokasi pengukuran di Desa Sriwulan

Abstract

The Mudal Spring is the main source of clean water for the people of Bulu Village, Bulu District, Rembang Regency and is also used to meet the needs of people outside the village which is managed by the Regional Drinking Water Company (PDAM). The increasing demand for clean water, the conservation of sustainable water resources is necessary. The purpose of this study was to analyze the condition of the Mudal springs and the household clean water needs of Bulu Village residents and to analyze the role of local wisdom as an effort to conserve springs. The research was conducted by observing in the field the condition of the springs used for household water supply, interviews related to household clean water needs and the local wisdom of the Bulu Village community which acts as an effort to conserve springs. A number of respondents using springs and local community leaders who live near the springs were interviewed freely and in a structured manner to obtain data on the use of springs and local wisdom in spring conservation which is still being carried out today. The results showed that the results of the water sample from the Mudal spring met water quality standards which included physical, chemical, and bacteriological parameters with the amount of clean water needed in Bulu Village of 136 liters/person/day, this indicates that the total water needs of the villagers Feathers are larger than the water requirement according to SNI, which is 100 liters/person/day. The large need for clean water requires spring conservation efforts for the sustainability of water resources for the future. As well as using the local wisdom of Bulu Village which is manifested in the form of a tradition of community service to clean springs and alms of the earth (slametan) by the local community led by village elders.

Abstract

Program literasi sangat penting dalam membantu siswa dalam mengembangkan kemampuan dasar membaca, menulis dan berbicara agar dapat berpikir kritis pada era globalisasi sekarang terutama bagi peserta didik di sekolah dasar. Penelitian bertujuan untuk menganalisis implementasi literasi di sekolah dasar. Sasaran dalam penelitian ini adalah guru dan peserta didik di SD Negeri Harjosari Lor 1 dengan pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, dokumentasi, dan wawancara. Analisis data yang digunakan dengan pengumpulan, reduksi, penyajian dan kesimpulan data. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa Implementasi literasi yang dilaksanakan di SD Negeri Harjosari Lor 1 adalah membaca sebelum kegiatan pembelajaran berlangsung, pojok baca literasi, adanya karya mading kelas, bintang prestasi, hafalan juz ama dan doa harian, game pendidikan, serta menyanyikan lagu-lagu nasional dan daerah. Kegiatan literasi tersebut dapat berjalan dengan baik, hal ini terlihat dengan adanya kegiatan peserta didik dapat membaca dan memahami teks, dapat menulis dengan jelas, dan dapat membaca dengan lancar. Namun, masih terdapat kendala masih terbatasnya buku-buku bacaan di sekolah dasar dan keterbatasan sumber daya manusianya.

Abstract

Local wisdom is a rich and unique cultural heritage owned by the people. However, this local wisdom has not been fully utilized as a learning innovation in elementary schools. This study aims to understand how local wisdom can be used as learning innovation in elementary schools. This study uses a qualitative approach with data collection techniques through in-depth interviews and participatory observation. The results of the study show that local wisdom can be used as learning innovation in elementary schools in various aspects, such as in learning languages, arts and sciences. Learning local wisdom can increase students' interest in learning and enrich their learning experience. In addition, learning local wisdom can also strengthen students' cultural identity and promote local wisdom to the younger generation. However, there are also challenges in implementing local wisdom learning in elementary schools, such as the lack of resources and support from the school and the government. Therefore, greater efforts are needed from the school, government and community to promote and integrate local wisdom as a learning innovation in elementary schools.

Abstract

Desa Mojo adalah wilayah pesisir di utara Pulau Jawa yang memiliki kawasan hutan mangrove terluas di Kabupaten Pemalang, tepatnya di muara Sungai Comal. Muara Sungai Comal dalam 8 tahun terakhir telah mengalami perubahan secara fisik karena dilakukan pembelokan aliran sungai oleh nelayan sebagai jalur mobilisasi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui perubahan luasan mangrove dan hasil produksi tangkapan ikan. Luasan hutan mangrove didapatkan dari deliniasi citra yang bersumber dari Google Earth, hasil tangkapan ikan berasal dari dokumentasi tempat pelelangan, dan wawancara Key Person untuk mengetahui faktor yang mempengaruhi, kemudian dilakukan analisis Catch Per Unit Effort (CPUE). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa luasan mangrove pada tahun 2013 – 2019 mengalami penurunan luasan mangrove dan pertambahan luasan pada tahun 2019 - 2022, dengan penyebab utama degradasi mangrove adalah abrasi dan secara umum trendline masih menunjukkan penurunan. Hasil tangkapan ikan pada tahun 2013 – 2019 mengalami penurunan hasil tangkapan dan mengalami kenaikan jumlah tangkapan pada tahun 2019 - 2022, secara umum trendline masih menunjukkan penurunan. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa perubahan dan sebaran mangrove menjadi penyebab perpindahan lokasi tangkapan ikan dan menyebabkan berubahnya hasil tangkapan ikan, secara umum trendline masih menunjukkan penurunan. Hasil analisis menemukan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara hasil tangkapan ikan dengan berkurangnya luasan mangrove setiap 1 ha, dengan laju pengurangan 250 kg/ha.

Abstract

Pariwisata memberikan kontribusi yang sangat signifikan bagi devisa negara dan kesejahteraan masyarakat. Pengembangan sektor pariwisata di daerah pesisir yang berbatasan langsung dengan batas laut memerlukan perhatian dan perlakuan secara khusus, terintegrasi dan sistematis dalam jangka panjang. Permasalahan kebencanaan, banjir, tingginya gelombang pasang air laut dan kondisi iklim yang fluktuatif menjadi permasalahan tersendiri bagi sektor pariwisata di daerah pesisir termasuk di Desa Tunggulsari, Kabupaten Pati. Tujuan pengabdian ini untuk melakukan akselerasi sektor pariwisata dengan strategi memadukan keberadaan hutan mangrove dan potensi ekonomi masyarakat, secara tepat guna, tepat sasaran dan sistematis di daerah pesisir Desa Tunggulsari. Akselerasi sektor pariwisata ini dimaksudkan untuk mewujudkan pertumbuhan ekonomi yang inklusif bagi masyarakat sekitar berbasis potensi desa. Pengabdian pada masyarakat ini dilaksanakan melalui metode sosialisasi, pelatihan, penerapan teknologi, pendampingan dan evaluasi. Hasil pengabdian adalah dengan merevitalisasi kawasan mangrove sebagai destinasi wisata, rancang bangun pemecah gelombang (breakwater) berbasis hybrid engineering, edukasi konservasi mangrove melalui pendampingan promosi digital kepariwisataan yang terintegrasi dengan pelaku UMKM dan peningkatan kompetensi SDM berkerjasama dengan berbagai stakeholder terkait.

Abstract

Semarang City has the fastest development in Central Java Province, where the activities are no longer centralized but have expanded to the upper part of the region. The ongoing development certainly impacts changes with the increasing area of built-up land that converts to another cover, such as vegetation. The phenomenon impacts the balance of the environment, one of which is the source of springs. Therefore, this study aims to map the spatial distribution of the springs and identify their physical quality. A quantitative approach was used with spatial analysis. Meanwhile, data collection techniques used document research, high-resolution image interpretation and field surveys. Field surveys were conducted to test the accuracy of land use maps and measurements of discharge, temperature, pH and brightness of the springs. The results showed that there is a change in land use from 2016 - 2021 with an increase in settlements of around 77.25 hectares and commercial service buildings by 178.79 hectares. For land use with the largest decrease in area, agricultural land covers and mixed garden/vegetation covers an area of ​​207.01 and 50.57 hectares. There were 114 springs at the research site, of which 5% of the springs had a relatively large discharge above 10 liters/second, while the other 47% had a small discharge. For pH conditions, there were 6 springs with a pH value of less than 6. Land use change from vegetation to flying land impacts the reduction of the water supply in the soil. The impact can be seen by the non-production of several springs, where 21 springs have not been discharged. In conclusion, there is a change in land use with an increase in built-up from 2016 - 2021 by 256.04 hectares. The increase in built-up is partly in conservation areas, hence damaging several springs.
