Abstract

The purpose of community service is to provide knowledge about entrepreneurship for the farmers in Hamlet Plosokerep Prawoto Village Sukolilo District Pati District 90% of its citizens rely on his fate on agriculture. The type of agriculture that is the mainstay of the partner community is corn farming. In addition to corn, it can be said almost non-existent due to the condition of the area in mountainous areas that are difficult to find groundwater. The best crops in the area are maize. The condition of the remote Plosokerep dukuh area with the village village and separated from the neighboring village may provide the backwardness of local knowledge. Citizens who are 90% not graduated from elementary school it has always been 80% relying on corn farming without a side business. Through this community service has been done counseling about entrepreneurship in the hope to open the local community to entrepreneurship and can increase revenue. In this service has been taught how the process of making extruded snack foods from local raw materials (corn) to the way of marketing. The outreach results are well-received by the community and partners feel the need for knowledge of entrepreneurship. Abstract

Lumpur Lapindo merupakan suatu limbah yang sangat mengganggu keberadaan masyarakat setempat dan aplikasi dari lumpur tersebut masih dalam taraf penelitian awal sehingga nilai jual dari limbah tersebut masih sangat rendah. Agar Lumpur Lapindo dapat diaplikasikan sebagai material keramik teknik maka harus diketahui terlebih dahulu sifat fisis dan mekanis yang dimilikinya agar dalam penggunaannya dapat dioptimalkan. Oleh sebab itu perlu adanya suatu penelitian yang simultan untuk mengetahui sifat fisis dan mekanis dari keramik Lumpur Lapindo sebelum diaplikasikan di beberapa industri maju. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk memberikan solusi dalam penanganan limbah Lumpur Lapindo yang mendesak keberadaan warga setempat dengan memanfaatkan bahan limbah sebagai pembuatan produk berupa material keramik. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan data tambahan mengenai material baru terutama dibidang keramik teknik sebagai material refraktori (material tahan terhadap suhu tinggi) yang berasal dari limbah Lumpur Lapindo (material lokal /Indonesia). Sehingga material lokal tersebut dapat dioptimalkan dalam penggunaannya. Pada proses pessureless sintering dengan tekanan kompaksi 100 MPa (pada pembuatan green body) dengan suhu sinter 8000C diperoleh harga kekerasan Vickers tertinggi adalah (914,340±92, 06) MPa. Abstract

Successful porcelain ceramic composite material made from Clay, TiO2 and Activated Carbon is reinforced by Brass. As a foaming agent used Polyvinyl Alcohol. The material made by using this extrusion method can produce porous ceramic material with porosity equal to 78,74% with density equal to 4,42 gram / cm3. The results were also reinforced by XRD and SEM testing.Keywords: Porous Ceramics, Composites, Extrusions, CuZn, Clay.
