Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan meningkatkan pengetahuan bidang studi (content knowledge) sebagai unsur pembentuk kompetensi mahasiswa calon guru matematika dengan pembelajaran blended learning. Pengetahuan bidang studi dalam hal ini disebut hasil belajar. Desain penelitian menggunakan kuasi eksperimen karena akan membandingkan pengaruh suatu perlakuan. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan tes. Untuk uji persyaratan normalitas, digunakan uji Kolmogorov-Smirnov, sedangkan uji homogenitas digunakan uji Levene. Untuk mengetahui perbedaan rerata, digunakan uji-t jika data berdistribusi normal. Sementara, jika data tidak berdistribusi normal digunakan uji Mann-Whitney. Hasil tes akhir pembelajaran dibandingkan untuk mengetahui pengaruh blended learning terhadap hasil belajar. Hasil pengolahan data menunjukkan bahwa hasil belajar kelas blended learning lebih baik daripada kelas biasa. Selain itu, mahasiswa blended learning lebih aktif mengerjakan tugas daripada kelas biasa. Kata Kunci: blended learning, calon guru matematika, content knowledge A BLENDED LEARNING MODEL IN THE MATHEMATICS EDUCATION STUDY PROGRAM IN UNTIRTA Abstract:This study was aimed to improve the content knowledge as an element for developing students’ competence through blended learning. In this study, this content knowledge is called learning achievement. The study used the experimental design. The data were collected using a test. To test the normality of data distribution, the Kolmogorov-Smirnov test was utilized, while to test the homogeneity of the variances, the Levene’s test was used. To test the hypothesis, the t-test was used. The findings showed that the learning achievement of the students taught using blended learning was better than that of those taught using the conventional method. In addition, the students taught using the blended learning were more active in doing the assignment than those in the conventional class. Abstract

The background of the problem is based on the low mathematics litercy of Indonesian students in PISA. Meanwhile, mathematics literacy is on of the abilities that must be mastered by students to implement mathematic in everyday life. The implementation of this research took place at MAN 1 Serang City of  2021/2022 academic year. The purpose of the study was to determine the effect of mathematics  concepts understanding and reading interest on mathematics literacy skills simultaneously. The research method used is quantitative method with correlational research type. The sample involved in this study consisted of 31 students with the population is all grade XI students of MAN 1 Serang City as many as 290 students. The instruments used are test and non-test instruments. The results of this research is there is a positive and significant effect simultaneously between understanding of mathematics concepts and reading interest on mathematics literacy skills. The multiple correlation coefficient obtained is 0.658 which means that the effect of mathematics concepts understanding and reading interest simultaneously on mathematical literacy skills is 43%. The remaining 53% is influenced by other factors not examined.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh fenomena rendahnya kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat pengaruh penerapan brain-based learning terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis siswa. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian kuasi eksperimen. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan instrumen tes berbentuk soal uraian yang dibuat berdasarkan indikator kemampuan berpikir kritis. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMP Negeri 187 Jakarta. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 187 Jakarta. Dengan teknik cluster random sampling diperoleh sampelnya yaitu seluruh siswa kelas VIII-A yang berjumlah 32 siswa sebagai kelas eksperimen dan siswa kelas VIII-D yang berjumlah 32 siswa sebagai kelas kontrol. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh penerapan brain-based learning terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis siswa yakni penerapan brain-based learning dalam pembelajaran matematika mampu meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis siswa.

Abstract

Kebutuhan akan multimedia pembelajaran yang bersifat interaktif dan dapat digunakan siswa dan guru secara mandiri memiliki urgensi tersendiri. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menghasilkan dan mengetahui kevalidan, kepraktisan, keefektifan dari produk multimedia pembelajaran interaktif dengan pendekatan Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) menggunakan Articulate Storyline pada materi bangun ruang sisi datar kelas VIII SMP. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian pengembangan dengan Model ADDIE, yang tahapannya terdiri dari Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, dan Evaluation. Instrumen yang digunakan yaitu lembar wawancara, angket validasi ahli media, ahli materi, respon guru, respon siswa  dan soal tes hasil belajar siswa. Subjek yang terlibat yaitu 25 siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Kota Serang. Teknik analisis data dilakukan secara deskriptif kuantitatif dan deksriptif kualitatif. Hasil pengembangan multimedia memperoleh penilaian ahli media sebesar 92%, ahli materi sebesar 81,5%, respon guru sebesar 84,44%, respon siswa sebesar 83,91%, dan ketuntasan tes hasil belajar siswa mencapai 72%. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa multimedia pembelajaran interaktif ini dapat dinyatakan memenuhi kriteria valid, praktis, dan efektif  untuk digunakan dalam pembelajaran.

Abstract

This research is motivated by mathematics which has a very important role in the development of scientific disciplines and developing human thinking. In mathematics there are several concepts, one of which is the concept of geometry. Geometry is still a difficult material for students, especially in the curved side of the cylinder. This causes the low learning achievement of students in the material. One of the learning models that can be used to improve mathematics learning outcomes is project-based learning. This learning model with a piggy bank project can foster a more active and creative learning attitude in students. This study aims to determine the effect of project-based learning on the mathematics learning outcomes of grade IX students on tube material using the piggy bank project. This research was conducted with a quantitative approach. The research model used was post-test only control group design. The population in this study were 9th grade students of SMPN 15 Kota Serang. This study involved two sample classes, namely class IX D as the experimental class and class IX E as the control class. The data collection technique used a test instrument consisting of 5 description questions. The data analysis used was descriptive and inferential statistical analysis. The results showed that there was a positive effect of project-based learning on math learning achievement.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to investigate the impact of comprehending mathematics concepts and developing self regulated learning skills on the mathematical literacy of junior high school students in Tangerang district, all at the same time. The research methodology used is correlation-based, employing a quantitative approach. The research sample consists of 280 students, with one study group selected per school, specifically class VIII. The validity and reliability of the research statements were assessed using the Pearson correlation test, which demonstrated that all prepared statements were valid. Furthermore, after undergoing reliability testing, all the statements were deemed reliable. The classical assumption tests included normality testing using the one-sample Kolmogorov Smirnov test, a multicollinearity test, a heteroscedasticity test using Spearman correlation, and an autocorrelation test using Durbin-Watson. The research results show that the F-count value is greater than the F-table value with a correlation value of 0.429. It can be concluded that there is a substantial positive relationship between understanding mathematicss concepts and self-regulated learning on the mathematical literacy of junior high school students in Tangerang Regency.
