Abstract

Abstract: This experimental research had a purpose to describe a difference implementation model of science of society technology, contextual, and cooperative in teaching social studies. The subjects of the research were students of fifth grade students of Bunda Mulia Kebun Elementary School Jeruk dan Tarakanita II Elementary School Kebayoran Baru Jakarta. The sample was collected by purposive random sampling. Results found: there was improvement of learning achevement after teachers implemented STM teaching model; there was improvement of learning achevement after teachers implemented contextual teaching model; there was improvement of learning achevement after teachers implemented cooperative teaching model. Among three models, the highest was contextual teaching model.

Abstract

Kemandirian  adalah  keadaan yang memungkinkan seseorang mengatur dan mengarahkan diri sendiri sesuai dengan tingkat perkembangannya yang meliputi aspek mengambil keputusan sendiri, menguasai hampir semua aktivitas fisik, bersosialisasi untuk unjuk peran, sadar akan tugas, mematuhi aturan dan dapat mengendalikan diri. Siswa kelas IV berada dalam usia sekolah dimana salah satu ciri-cirinya adalah usia berprestasi. Bentuk pencapaian prestasi dapat dilihat dengan perolehan hasil belajar yang maksimal. Dalam penelitian ini peneliti berfokus pada hasil belajar IPS kelas IV. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan antara kemandirian dengan hasil belajar IPS siswa kelas IV SD. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian korelasional.  Subyek penelitian ini adalah 110 siswa kelas IV dari SD Sariputra, SD Strada Nawar dan SD Strada Bhakti Nusa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemandirian siswa kelas IV sebagian besar menunjukkan kategori tinggi sebesar 52% dari 110 siswa dan hasil belajar IPS menunjukkan sebagian besar kategori sedang sebesar 58% dari 110 siswa. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini disarankan bagi guru dalam pembelajaran IPS melatih kemandirian siswa artinya bahwa siswa terlibat aktif dan mandiri dalam belajar IPS sehingga dengan siswa mandiri  maka siswa akan bertanggung jawab  dan sadar akan tugasnya dalam belajar sehingga diharapkan hasil belajar IPS siswa  dapat ditingkatkan.

Abstract

Digital parenting merupakan model pola pengasuhan anak yang disesuaikan dengan kebiasaan anak yang begitu akrab dengan perangkat digital. Prinsipnya, menanamkan sikap bijak berperilaku dalam pemanfaatan teknologi serta tetap menerapkan aturan agar anak tidak sampai kelewat batas. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan peran digital parenting terhadap penggunaan gawai anak SD. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah quantiative method dimana pengumpulan data melalui penyebaran instrumen kepada orang tua siswa SD. Teknik analisis dimana data dianalisis dengan dideskripsikan dan ditampilkan dalam bentuk tabel. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tentang digital parenting, diperoleh hasil bahwa sebanyak 71 orang tua siswa dengan persentase 54% memiliki tingkat sedang dalam skor peran digital parenting terhadap siswa dan jumlah ini lebih banyak jika dibandingkan dengan jumlah siswa bertingkat rendah yaitu berjumlah 34 orang tua siswa dengan persentase 26% dan bertingkat tinggi yang berjumlah 27 orang tua siswa dengan persentase 20%. Tantangan untuk memaksimalkan potensi anak semakin berat saat anak memasuki era digital. Era digital menawarkan beragam kesempatan baru untuk mengembangkan diri, namun juga menyimpan ancaman. Oleh karena itu, penting bagi orang tua mengembangkan model pengasuhan yang bertujuan menghindarkan anak dari ancaman dan memaksimalkan potensi digital melalui digital parenting.

Abstract

ABSTRAKKesadaran moral anak sangat penting dikembangkan dan dibudayakan sejak pendidikan sekolah dasar melalui strategi membudayakan budaya malu. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan praktik budaya malu di sekolah dasar SDN 23 Menyumbung kabupaten Sintang. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan studi kasus (one case study research).Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara mendalam, observasi dan studi dokumen. Alat pengumpulan data adalah panduan wawancara, lembar observasi dan dukumen. Analisis data menggunakan pola induktif model Creswel. Subyek penelitian adalah guru dan siswa di SDN 23 Menyumbung sebanyak 25 orang. Teknik pengambilan responden secara purposive karena mempertimbangkan situasi pandemi covid 19. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa pade level siswa dan guru dikembangkan 10 budaya malu yang ditanamkan dalam pembelajaran maupun melaui pembiasaan. Praktik budaya malu telah menumbuhkan dua aspek penting dalam diri siswa dan guru yakni karakter kinerja dan kinerja moral. Agar karakter kinerja dan karakter moral tumbuh dengan baik di sekolah maka diperlukan strategi micro kepala sekolah yang terarah pada penguatan identitas personal dan sosial siswa secara moral. Kata Kunci: budaya malu, kinerja moral, karakter moral ABSTRACTChildren's moral awareness is very important to be developed and cultivated since elementary school education through a strategy of cultivating a culture of shame. The purpose of this study is to describe the practice of shame culture in elementary schools of SDN 23 Menyumbung, Sintang district. This research uses a case study approach (one case study). Data collection techniques using in-depth interviews, observation and documentation study. Data analysis used the Creswell model inductive pattern. Data collection techniques using in-depth interviews, observation and document study. Data collection tools were interview guides, observation sheets and documents. The research subjects were 25 teachers and students at SDN 23 Menyumbung. The technique of taking respondents was purposive because it considered the covid pandemic situation 19. The results showed that at the level of students and teachers 10 shy cultures were instilled in learning and through habituation. The practice of shame culture has fostered two important aspects in students and teachers, namely the character of performance and moral performance. In order for the performance character and moral character to grow well in school, a micro principal strategy is needed that is aimed at strengthening the personal and social identity of students morally.Keywords: shame culture, moral performance, moral character

Abstract

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan memberikan bukti empiris terkait pola interaksi sosial antar siswa, dan memaparkan gambaran terkait dampak pemanfaatan gadget dikalangan siswa sekolah dasar kota Yogyakarta. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode survei, dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui angket. Populasi dan sampel penelitian diambil secara purposive sampling yaitu siswa kelas II dan Kelas V dari empat sekolah dasar swasta dan negeri di kota Yogyakarta dengan tingkat perbedaan predikat akreditasi sekolah. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa ada dua gambaran yang dominan dari pola interaksi sosial siswa sekolah dasar dalam memanfaatkan gadget yakni pola asosiatif dan disasosiatif. Kehadiran dan berkembangnya gadget sangat positif membantu siswa dalam kegiatan belajar, dan dipihak lain gadget juga mereduksi pola interaksi sosial dan personal dikalangan siswa. Untuk menghidupkan pola interaksi sosial siswa dengan adanya gadget maka sekolah perlu membuat pendekatan pembelajaran yang edukatif adaptif dalam memanfaatkan kemajuan teknologi sebagai instrumen kunci keberhasilan pembelajaran abad 21.Kata Kunci: gadget,  interaksi sosial, pola asosiatif dan disasosiatif ABSTRACTThis study aims to provide empirical evidence regarding patterns of social interaction between students, and to describe the impact of using gadgets among elementary school students in the city of Yogyakarta. This study uses a survey method, with data collection techniques through questionnaires. The population and sample of the study were taken by purposive sampling, namely class II and class V students from four private and public elementary schools in the city of Yogyakarta with different levels of school accreditation predicate. The results showed that there were two dominant images of the social interaction patterns of elementary school students in using gadgets, namely associative and dissociative patterns. The presence and development of gadgets is very positive in helping students in learning activities, and on the other hand gadgets also reduce social and personal interaction patterns among students. To turn on students' social interaction patterns with gadgets, schools need to make an adaptive educative learning approach in utilizing technological advances as a key instrument for the success of 21st century learning.Keywords: gadgets, social interaction, associative and dissociative patterns

Abstract

The pandemic period demands and challenges students to learn independently because independent learning determines the success of student learning. This study aims to describe the learning independence of elementary school students in a social science subject during the Covid-19 pandemic. The research subjects were 40 students in grade VI SDK Santo Kristoforus Jakarta, random sampling. This research is a qualitative case study through interviews, observation, and questionnaires as supporting instruments. Data were analyzed using qualitative analysis and inductive conclusions. The results of this study show that the independent learning of students in grade VI of Elementary Schools in Jakarta is in a Good category with an average of 72%. In order to support and realize student independence during a pandemic, a social science subject in elementary school needs to strengthen learning methods that build the capacity of students' curiosity and self-confidence to increase their self-motivation so that the aspect of student independence becomes a strong adaptive instrument in learning social science and other academic fields in pandemic situations.

Abstract

The use of the ICT-based learning media has been an integrated element in the learning design to help students achieve the learning objectives. The purpose of the study was to describe the effect of using the ICT-based learning media towards the learning outcomes of students in the social studies subjects for grade 5 in Duri Kosambi 10 Pagi Elementary School. This research is an experiment with a nonequivalent control group design. The data collection techniques were tests, interviews, and observations. The pretest score from the experimental class was 30.89 and 27.67 from the control class. The post-test scores from the experimental class was 83.39 and the control class obtained 73.33. Then the t-test using IBM SPSS Statistic 24, showed a significance value of 0.01 < 0.05. The results of interviews and observations showed a positive influence on learning interest and interaction of the students in the classroom, as evidenced by increased learning outcomes in the experimental class.

Abstract

The development of learning tools aims to facilitate students to design innovative learning activities by utilizing the results of analysis of problem-based, literacy and HOTS teaching materials. Project-Based Learning is aimed at improving high-level thinking skills, understanding problems and strengthening literacy. This classroom action research describes increasing the regulatory abilities of PPG students in using Project Based Learning (PjBL). This research was carried out in two cycles. The research results show that Project Based Learning (PjBL) model learning through the Learning Management System can improve the regulatory abilities of Teacher Professional Program (PPG) students. In the first cycle, the achievement of indicators of student regulatory success reached the quite good category with a percentage of 71%. In the second cycle of action, PPG students' regulatory abilities increased to the good category with a percentage achievement of 76%. It can be concluded hat self-regulation abilities to increase and be consistent, the implementation of Project Based Learning can be carried out in three cycles and reinforced with various learning topics in the Learning Management System (LMS). This effort is important with a focus on improving aspects of self-regulation capabilities, namely deepening essential questions, strengthening plans and implementation of HOTS-based projects.
