Abstract

Nutritional status is an important factor in maintaining body immunity. Poor nutritional status is one of the causes of degenerative diseases caused by a damaged lifestyle. This study aims to determine the nutritional status of Bali Rugby team athletes in preparation for the 2021 National Sports Week (PON) held in Papua Province. The type of research used is descriptive quantitative research with a survey method. The sample of this study was 14 athletes from the Bali Rugby Team, with an average age of 20 years. The data collected were height and weight and then analyzed using the Body Mass Index (BMI) formula. The results of this study are the average nutritional status of the Bali Rugby team athletes in preparation for PON Papua 2021, namely in the obesity category I, with details of the normal category as many as 5 athletes (35.7%), overweight category as many as 3 athletes (21.4%), and obesity category I as many as 6 athletes (42.9%). The conclusion in this study is that the average nutritional status of Bali Rugby team athletes in preparation for the 2021 National Sports Week (PON) held in Papua Province shows that athletes are in the obesity category I. From these results, it is hoped that the coach can use it as information to face PON 2021. by evaluating a training program that is tailored to the condition of the athlete so that it can produce maximum performance in the Rugby sport in Bali Province. STATUS GIZI ATLET TIM RUGBY BALI PERSIAPAN PON PAPUA 2021 AbstrakStatus gizi merupakan salah satu faktor penting dalam menjaga imunitas tubuh. Status gizi yang buruk adalah salah satu penyebab timbulnya penyakit-penyakit degeneratif yang disebabkan oleh rusaknya gaya hidup. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui status gizi atlet tim Rugby Bali dalam persiapan Pekan Olahraga Nasional (PON) 2021 yang dilaksanakan di Provinsi Papua. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan yaitu penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif dengan metode survei. Sampel penelitian ini merupakan atlit Tim Rugby Bali yang berjumlah 14 orang wanita dengan rata-rata usia 20 tahun. Data yang terkumpul yaitu tinggi badan dan berat badan dan kemudian dianalisis menggunakan rumus Indeks Massa Tubuh (IMT). Hasil dari penelitian ini yaitu rata-rata kondisi status gizi atlet tim Rugby Bali dalam persiapan PON Papua 2021 yaitu dalam kategori obesitas I, dengan rincian kategori normal sebanyak 5 atlet (35,7%), kategori overweight sebanyak 3 atlet (21,4%), dan kategori obesitas I sebanyak 6 atlet (42,9%). Kesimpulan dalam penelitian ini yaitu rata-rata status gizi atlet tim Rugby Bali dalam persiapan Pekan Olahraga Nasional (PON) 2021 yang dilaksanakan di Provinsi Papua menunjukan bahwa atlet termasuk kategori obesitas I. Dari hasil tersebut, diharapkan pelatih dapat menjadikannya sebagai informasi untuk menghadapi PON 2021 dengan cara mengevaluasi program latihan yang disesuaikan dengan kondisi atlet sehingga dapat menghasilkan prestasi yang maksimal pada cabang olahraga Rugby di Provinsi Bali.

Abstract

Motion analysis in sports can help athletes and coaches as material for evaluating movement in improving movement and improving athlete performance with a predetermined training program. The purpose of this study was to analyze the motion of the topspin technique in table tennis. This research is a qualitative research by describing the results of the video analysis of the topspin technique movement which is accessed from youtube, then using the Kinovea application instrument. The subjects in this study were the top ranked players, which consisted of five of the best male athletes at the world level in the table tennis game. Based on the analysis data above, it was found that the average bending of the elbow at the ready position was 92.80, the swing position before hitting the ball was 142.40, when hitting the ball was 117.80, and after hitting the ball was 73.40. The results of the average elbow distance from the center point when the ready position is 68.728 cm, when the swing position before hitting the ball is 23.532 cm, when hitting the ball with a distance of 50.88 cm and during further motion 150.768 cm. The results of the analysis of the inclination angle of the body when the ready position is 161.60, when swinging the hand 152.60, when hitting the ball 150.60, and for further motion with a body inclination of 1660. The results of the analysis of the bending of the right leg when the position is 149.80, the position of swinging the right leg 125.40, and when the ball hits it forms an angle of 125.60 and when it continues to move 42.60. The average results of the analysis of the left leg bending angle when the ready position is 151.20, the swinging position with the left leg bending is 126.20, in the position of the ball hitting an angle of 130.40, and accompanied by a follow-up motion to form the left foot angle of 1460. The average foot distance when hitting the topspin, in the ready position is 186 cm, during the backswing the foot distance is 196.638 cm, and when hitting the ball is 198.81 cm, and accompanied by a follow-up motion of 195.886 cm. Biomechanical analysis of the topspin technique from several stages starting from the ready position to the advanced motion carried out by each athlete according to their respective body anatomy and following the position when hitting the ball.Analisis biomekanika teknik topspin pada permainan tenis mejaAbstrakAnalisis gerak pada olahraga dapat membantu atlet dan pelatih sebagai bahan evaluasi gerakan dalam memperbaiki gerakan dan meningkatkan performa atlet dengan program latihan yang telah ditentukan. Tujuan penelitian ini ialah menganalisis gerak teknik topspin dalam permainan tenis meja. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan mendeskripsikan hasil analisis video gerakan teknik topspin yang diakses dari youtube, kemudian menggunakan instrumen aplikasi Kinovea. Subyek dalam penelitian ini men top ranked players yang berjumlah lima orang atlet putra terbaik ditingkat dunia pada permainan tenis meja. Berdasarkan dari data analisis diatas ditemukan nilai rerata tekukan siku pada saat posisi siap 92,80, posisi ayunan sebelum memukul bola 142,40, saat memukul bola 117,80, dan sesudah memukul bola sebesar 73,40. Hasil rerata jarak siku dari titik pusat saat posisi siap 68,728 cm, saat posisi ayunan sebelum memukul bola 23,532 cm, saat memukul bola dengan jarak 50,88 cm dan saat gerak lanjutan 150,768 cm. Hasil analisis sudut kecondongan tubuh saat posisi siap 161,60, saat mengayunkan tangan 152,60, saat memukul bola 150,60, dan untuk gerak lanjutan dengan kecondongan tubuh 1660. Hasil analisis tekukan kaki kanan saat posisi 149,80, posisi mengayunkan kaki kanan 125,40, dan saat perkenaan bola membentuk sudut 125,60 dan saat gerak lanjutan 42,60. Hasil rerata analisis sudut tekukan kaki kiri saat posisi siap 151,20, posisi mengayungkan tangan dengan tekukan kaki kiri 126,20, pada posisis perkenaan bola membentuk sudut 130,40, serta diiringi dengan gerak lanjutan membentuk sudut kaki kiri 1460. Hasil rerata jarak kaki saat melakukan pukulan topspin, pada posisi siap 186cm, saat backswing jarak kaki 196,638 cm, dan saat perkenaan bola 198,81 cm, serta di iringi gerak lanjutan 195,886 cm. Analisis biomekanik teknik topspin dari beberapa tahapan dimulai dari posisi siap hingga gerak lanjutan yang dilakukan masing-masing atlet sesuai anatomi tubuh masing-masing serta mengikuti posisi saat perkenaan bola.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan modul pembelajaran perilaku hidup bersih dan sehat yang dapat digunakan guru TK dalam pembelajaran kesehatan. Modul pembelajaran yang dikembangkan diharapkan dapat digunakan sebagai tambahan referensi guru TK tentang pembelajaran perilaku hidup bersih dan sehat. Penelitian ini melalui sepuluh tahapan dengan mengadaptasi penelitian dan pengembangan pendidikan model Borg Gall. Langkah-langkah penelitian dan pengembangan sebagai berikut: (1) potensi dan masalah, (2) pengumpulan data, (3) desain produk, (4) validasi desain, (5) revisi produk, (6) uji coba produk, (7) revisi produk, (8) uji coba produk, (9) revisi produk, (10) produksi masal. Hasil penelitian berupa modul pembelajaran perilaku hidup bersih dan sehat pada TK kelompok B yang sesuai dengan Kurikulum Tingkat Satuan Pendidikan (KTSP) dan karakteristik pertumbuhan dan perkembangan, serta mudah, menarik, dan menyenangkan bagi siswa TKKata Kunci: pengembangan, perilaku hidup bersih dan sehat, siswa TK Developing a Module for Clean and Healthy Life Behaviors for Kindergarten AbstractThis research aims to produce a module for the learning of clean and healthy life behaviors that kindergarten teachers can use in health learning and as an additional reference of clean and healthy life behaviors. This study was a research and development conducted in tenssteps by adapting educational research and development according to Gall, Gall, Borg’s model. This was a research and development study employing the steps of: (1) potentials and problems, (2) data collection, (3) product design, (4) design validation, (5) product revision, (6) product tryout, (7) product revision, (8) product tryout, (9) product revision, and (10) mass production. The result of the study is a module of clean and healthy life behavior for the Group B Kindergarten that is in accordance to the Educational Unit Level Curriculum (KTSP, Kurikulum Tingkat Satuan Pendidikan) and the growth and development characteristics. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) perbedaan pengaruh antara latihan beban metode compound set dan circuit training, (2) perbedaan pengaruh kekuatan otot tinggi dan rendah,dan (3) interaksi antara metode latihan beban dan kekuatan terhadap hasil hypertrophy otot dan ketebalan lemak. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah 56 members yang programnya hypertrophy otot dari Fitness Centre GOR FIK UNY dan Fitness Centre Club Arena Hotel Jayakarta Yogyakarta. Sampel yang berjumlah 28 members ditentukan dengan teknik Purposive Rondom Sampling. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Analisis Varian (ANAVA). Hasil penelitian adalah: (1) ada perbedaan pengaruh yang signifikan antara latihan beban dengan compound set dan circuit training terhadap hypertrophy otot, (2) ada perbedaan pengaruh kekuatan otot tinggi dan rendah terhadap hypertrophy otot dan ketebalan lemak, dan ada interaksi yang signifikan antara metode latihan beban dan kekuatan otot terhadap hypertrophy otot.Kata kunci: metode latihan beban, kekuatan otot, hasil hypertrophy otot dan ketebalan lemak. The effect of weight training and muscle strength on muscle hypertrophy and fat thicknessAbstractThis study aims to find out: (1) the differences between the effect of weight training method and circuit training compound set, (2) differences in the effect of high and low muscle strength, and (3) the interaction among methods of weight training and muscle strength on the muscle hypertrophy and fat thickness. This study is experimental. The population was 56 members of Sport Hall Fitness Centre Faculty, of Sports Science, State University of Yogyakarta and Fitness Centre Club Arena Hotel Jayakarta Yogyakarta. A sample of 28 members was established using the  purposive random sampling technique. The data analysis technique used in this study was the analysis of variance (ANOVA). The results show that: (1) there is a significant effect difference between the weight training and circuit training compound set on the result of muscle hypertrophy(2) there is a difference in the effect of high and low muscle strength on the results of muscle hypertrophy and fat thickness, and (3) there is a significant interaction between the weight training method and muscle strength on the muscle hypertrophy results.Keywords: method of weight training, muscle strength, muscle hypertrophy results and fat thickness.

Abstract

Upaya pencegahan masalah berat badan berlebih menjadi fokus utama saat ini berdasarkan peningkatan resiko kesehatan akibat overweight dan obesitas, teruatama pada anak-anak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengindentifikasi penyebab kenaikan berat badan pada anak usia dini dengan metode penelitian cross sectional. Jumlah subjek penelitian terdiri dari enam puluh enam anak. Teknik analisa yang digunakan adalah analisis multivariat. Hasil penelitian menujukkan terdapat hubungan bermakna (p 0.05) antara variabel varian terhadap kenaikan berat pada anak usia dini. Hasil penelitian disimpulkan bahwa faktor rendahnya aktivitas fisik, genetik dari orang tua dan pola makan berhubungan terhadap kenaikan berat badan pada anak usia dini. Identify the causes of weight gain in early childhood AbstractToday, the efforts to prevent weight gain excess become the main focus base on increased health risk consequences of overweight and obesity, especially in childhood. This research to investigate the factors that affect the incidence of overweight/obesity in childhood with an ex post facto research method. The total subject for this research was sixty-six children with data analysis using multivariate analysis. The results of this research are showing there is a significant correlation between variants variable on the increased weight gain excess in childhood. Finally, inactive physical activity, genetic, and diet are related to weight gain excess in childhood.

Abstract

Social interaction is an inseparable part of human life, including an athlete, because literally, humans are social creatures. Social interactions carried out in society can be influenced by other factors such as family and social media. This study aims to determine how many roles out social media both on the social interaction of athletes. This research is quantitative research with the instrument used is a questionnaire. The population in this study was 70 National athletes from Riau Province. The analysis technique used is descriptive quantitative in the form of a percentage. The results revealed that the family has a good role with a value of 32.86%, while social media does not have enough roles with a percentage obtained of 40% and for both family and social media have a sufficient role of 34.29%. Social media and family have an adequate role for athletes in social interaction. This study has several limitations including the limited area and scope of research subjects.

Abstract

The lack of training models and training creativity in creating traditional game-based training models for kenshi to improve the basic techniques of kempo becomes problems in this study. The purpose of this research is to produce a model of basic martial arts techniques of kempo through traditional games for kenshi beginners. This research is a research and development (R&D) research which was adapted into 8 steps in research: 1). Field news collection 2). Breakdown of the news that has been collected 3). Elaborating initial creation 4). Expert validation and revision 5). Small scale trial 6). Large-scale trial 7). Making the final product 8). Product effectiveness test. The small-scale trial subjects of 20 beginners kenshi were taken from 2 dojos, namely the Panjatan Junior High School dojo and the Amikom dojo. The large-scale test subjects totaling 45 beginners kenshi were taken from 3 dojos, namely Balong, Triharjo, and SD Gunung Kidul. The subjects in this study came from 5 dojos in Perkemi DIY. Data were collected through interviews, distributing questionnaires, field notes, evaluation, and assessment rubrics for beginner kenshi. The results of this study are in the form of training models for basic techniques of kempo martial arts through traditional games for beginner kenshi, and there are five training models: 1. gobak sodor, 2. yeye, 3. pahtil catfish, 4. zogdag, 5. stick dance. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that the traditional game-based kempo martial arts training model for kenshi beginners is feasible to use. The author's recommendation to other prospective researchers is to examine traditional games in an approach with other disciplines and use professional research subjects in other sports.

Abstract

This study aims to find out the improvement of “geri komi” movement technique training on kenzhi, through the authoritative training style on kenzhi kyu IV (white belt) and kenzhi kyu III (green belt) on the dojo of Teachers Association 1945 Kupang. The sample in this study consisted of kenzhis numbering to 10, with the composition of 5 kenzhis of kyu IV (white belts) and 5 kenzhis of kyu III (green belts) which were given actions of an authoritative training style. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative research. Data analysis was performed by a descriptive qualitative method. The results of the study conclude: (1) before applying the authoritative training style by the trainers to the kenzhis, the kenzhis were not good at making “geri komi” kick movements and did not have any improving changes in “geri komi” kick technique, but after an authoritative training style being given to the kenzhis, then there was an improvement in “geri komi” kick technique in terms of speed, accuracy, and strength. Based on the descriptive results of data analysis, it can be concluded that using an authoritative training style can improve “geri komi” kick technique.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas mengenai metode latihan william flexion bagi penderita low back pain. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui efektivitas penggunaan metode latihan william flexion untuk menurunkan tingkat low back pain pada anggota kelompok PKK di Dusun Tejogan, Hargorejo, Kokap, Kulon Progo, Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada akhir bulan Desember 2021 hingga awal Januari 2022. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode quasi experiment dengan rancangan one group pre and posttest design. Perlakuan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode latihan william flexion dengan 6 kali perlakuan selama 2 minggu. Populasi dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 50 orang dengan sampel yang diambil sebanyak 10 orang yang merupakan anggota kelompok PKK di Dusun Tejogan yang diambil melalui insidental sampling dengan kriteria inklusi dan ekslusi. Tingkat nyeri diukur menggunakan Visual Analog Scale (VAS) sebelum (pretest) dan sesudah (posttest) perlakuan. Analisis data menggunakan Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test ditujukan untuk mengetahui perbedaan signifikansi data pretest dan posttest pada kelompok yang telah diberi perlakuan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa metode latihan william flexion efektif untuk menurunkan tingkat nyeri punggung bawah dengan signifikansi p0,05 dan tingkat penurunan nyeri sebesar 66%. Nilai nyeri VAS pretest dan posttest pada kelompok perlakuan mengalami penurunan dari 5,6 ± 1,075 menjadi 1,9 ± 0,994 dengan nilai (p0,004). Kesimpulan penelitian adalah metode latihan william flexion efektif untuk menurunkan tingkat low back pain pada anggota kelompok PKK di Dusun Tejogan. Effectiveness of William flexion exercise method to decrease low back pain level  Abstract: This study discusses the William flexion exercise method, which is intended for low back pain sufferers. The purpose of the study was to determine the effectiveness of using the William flexion exercise method to reduce the level of low back pain in members of the PKK group in Tejogan Village, Hargorejo, Kokap, Kulon Progo, Yogyakarta Special Region. This research was conducted from the end of December 2021 to early January 2022. This study uses a quasi-experimental method with a one-group pre and post-test design. The treatment in this study used the William Flexion exercise method with 6 treatments for 2 weeks. The population in this study was 50 people, with a sample of 10 people who were members of the PKK group in Tejogan Village, which were taken through incidental sampling with inclusion and exclusion criteria. Pain level was measured using the Visual Analog Scale (VAS) before (pretest) and after (post-test) treatment. Data analysis using the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test was intended to determine the difference in the significance of the pretest and posttest data in the treated group. The results showed that the William flexion exercise method was effective in reducing the level of low back pain with a significance of p0.05 and a pain reduction rate of 66%. The pretest and posttest VAS pain scores in the treatment group decreased from 5.6 ± 1.075 to 1.9 ± 0.994 with a value (p0.004). The conclusion of the study is that William's flexion exercise method is effective in reducing the level of low back pain in members of the PKK group in Tejogan Village.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) pengaruh latihan interval dan HIIT (2) pengaruh latihan HIIT, dan (3) perbedaan pengaruh latihan antara interval dan HIIT terhadap performance anaerobik dan keseimbangan pada atlet balap sepeda downhill mountainbike Yogyakarta. Penelitian ini adalah eksperimen, dengan desain Two Groups Pretest- Posttest Design. Sampel penelitian ini 12 atlet yang ditentukan dengan teknik total sampling. Instrumen untuk mengukur performance anaerobik adalah RAST (Running-based Anaerobic Sprint Test) dan untuk mengukur keseimbangan adalah strock stand. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji-t pada taraf signifikan α = 0,05. Hasil penelitian adalah sebagai berikut. (1) Ada pengaruh latihan interval terhadap kemampuan anaerobik power dan keseimbangan pada atlet balap downhill mountainbike Yogyakarta. (2) Ada pengaruh latihan HIIT terhadap kemampuan performance anaerobik dan keseimbangan pada atlet balap downhill mountainbike di Yogyakarta. (3) Tidak terdapat perbedaan antara latihan interval dan HIIT terdadap performance anaerobik dan keseimbangan pada atlet balap downhill mountainbike Yogyakarta. Pengaruh latihan HIIT terhadap peningkatan performance anaerobik lebih lebih baik dilihat dari mean pretest latihan interval sebesar 419 dan keseimbangan sebesar 69,33 dan pretest mean kelompok latihan HIIT 56,8333 dan keseimbangan sebesar 62,76167 dan posttest nilai mean kelompok latihan interval 445,1667 keseimbangan sebesar 76,63167 dan mean kelompok HIIT sebesar sebesar 602 dan keseimbangan 76,285 dengan nilai signifikansi mean antara kelompok interval dan HIIT sebesar 147,8333. Interval training and HIIT to improve performance and balance in downhill mountain bike cyclists Abstract: This study aims to determine: (1) the effect of interval training and HIIT, (2) the effect of HIIT training, and (3) the difference in the effect of training between interval and HIIT on anaerobic performance and balance in Yogyakarta downhill mountain bike racing athletes. This research is an experiment with a Two Groups Pretest- Posttest Design. The sample of this study was 12 athletes determined by total sampling technique. The instrument to measure anaerobic performance is RAST (Running-based Anaerobic Sprint Test) and to measure balance is struck stand. The data analysis technique used is the t-test at a significant level α = 0.05. The results of the study are as follows. (1) There is an effect of interval training on anaerobic power and balance in Yogyakarta downhill mountain bike racing athletes. (2) There is an effect of HIIT training on anaerobic performance ability and balance in downhill mountain bike racing athletes in Yogyakarta. (3) There is no difference between interval training and HIIT on anaerobic performance and balance in Yogyakarta downhill mountain bike racing athletes. The effect of HIIT training on improving anaerobic performance is better, as seen from the pretest mean of interval training of 419 and balance of 69.33 and pretest mean of HIIT training group of 56.8333 and balance of 62.76167 and posttest mean value of interval training group of 445.1667 balance of 76.63167 and mean of HIIT group of 602 and balance of 76.285 with significance value of mean between interval and HIIT group of 147.8333.
