Abstract

Literature is a product of culture keeping abreast of human mind. Literary works is a means for the authors to express the social phenomenon in his life. The discourses about postmodernism in the second half of twentieth century, as a part of the story of human mind, was a profound interest for the Authors. In Indonesia, the postmodern discourse has come up in the 1960s. This paper involves the elements of Postmodernism in the short story “Abacadabra” written by Danarto. The dominant elements in this short story are parody, fragmentary, and historiographic metafiction.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk menguatkan kompetensi para guru bahasa Jerman di SMA se-kota Malang tentang resepsi karya sastra dan proses pembelajaran antarbudaya. Teks-teks fiktif sastra memberikan akses khusus kepada pebelajar terhadap kebudayaan asing dan sebagai penanggungjawab dari beberapa objek dengan unsur pembelajaran antarbudaya di dalamnya. Proses pembelajaran antarbudaya mencakup proses-proses Fremdwahrnehmung/pengenalan hal-hal asing, Kulturvergleich/perbandingan budaya, dan Fremdverstehen durch Perspektivenübernahme/penerimaan perspektif. Para peserta guru menggambarkan secara detail, tanpa menafsirkan. Selanjutnya dilakukan identifikasi dan diferensiasi, serta komparasi. Pada proses terakhir para peserta menyatukan dua keterampilan dalam konteks pemahaman budaya asing yang diperlukan untuk menyikapi dua budaya yang berbeda satu sama lain. Hasil dari pelatihan ini adalah peserta dapat menggambarkan situasi di dalam teks, menyinambungkan beberapa hal dan menilainya disertai alasan, mengklasifikasikan hal-hal yang dapat diperbandingkan dari keadaan di dalam teks dengan konteks budaya di negeri sendiri, dan mampu untuk menggali budaya asing dan dapat berpartisipasi di dalamnya, serta melakukan interpretasi dari fenomena budaya asing dari ”luar” yang membutuhkan kemampuan refleksi kritis.

Abstract

This research is aimed at describing the various stereotypes, prejudices, and ethnocentrism which appeared in the character in the novel “Generation Golf”. The qualitative approach was applied in this research. Note reading technique was a technique used for data collection. The data analysis method was domain analysis. The result of the research indicates that there are kinds of stereotypes, prejudice and ethnocentric attitudes. Stereotypes appeared are learding to negative and positive kinds; kinds of prejudice appeared in the form of negative feelings, beliefs and actions; and ethnocentric attitudes are raised by attributing German’s culture with other nations

Abstract

Pengetahuan emosi memiliki pengaruh besar terhadap proses perkembangan, baik pada perkembangan sosial-emosional ataupun perkembangan kognitif. Pengenalan emosi pada anak usia sekolah merupakan suatu hal yang turut menjadi penting karena pada usia ini anak mulai mengembangkan pemahaman terhadap diri mereka sendiri dan menyadari bahwa mereka merupakan sosok yang terpisah dari orang lain. Program psikoedukasi pengenalan emosi ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman siswa sekolah dasar terkait bentuk-bentuk emosi dasar manusia. Kegiatan yang dilakukan berupa psikoedukasi yang terdiri dari serangkaian kegiatan ceramah, diskusi dan tanya jawab yang disertai dengan pemberian permainan berkelompok berbasis emosi-emosi dasar yakni “Ular Tangga Emosi”. Sasaran pada program ini adalah siswa kelas 4 SDI Baitut Taqwa Desa Belung sebanyak 14 peserta. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan selama dua jam pembelajaran. Hasil kesimpulan dari psikoedukasi ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan pengetahuan seputar emosi dasar manusia yang terlihat dari hasil pre-test dan post-test dari peserta psikoedukasi. Kata kunci—Psikoedukasi, Pengenalan Emosi, Emosi Dasar Abstract The knowledge of emotions has a major influence on the development process, both on social-emotional and cognitive levels. Recognition of emotions in school-age children is also important because, at this age, children begin to develop an understanding of themselves and realize that they are separate figures from others. This emotional recognition psychoeducation program aims to increase elementary school students' understanding of the basic forms of human emotion. The activities carried out are in the form of psychoeducation consisting of a series of lectures, discussions, questions, and answers accompanied by the provision of group games based on basic emotions, namely Snakes and Ladders of Emotions. The target audience of this program is the 4th grade students of SDI Baitut Taqwa Belung Village, with as many as 14 participants. This activity will last for two hours of learning. The conclusion from this psychoeducation shows that there is an increase in knowledge about basic human emotions, as seen from the results of the pre-test and post-test of the psychoeducational participants. Keywords—Psychoeducation, Emotion Recognition, Basic Emotions

Abstract

Penulisan hanzi merupakan salah satu materi yang sulit dipelajari pada keterampilan berbahasa Mandarin. Selama kegiatan pembelajaran berlangsung siswa sering kali mengalami kesulitan dalam menulis hanzi. Hal tersebut disebabkan oleh masih kurangnya pemanfaatan media yang dapat melibatkan siswa secara aktif. Oleh karena itu diperlukan pengembangan media yang menunjang pembelajar menulis hanzi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan dan mengukur kelayakan dari media pembelajaran modul cetak menulis hanzi terintegrasi website. Pengembangan media ini menggunakan model ADDIE. Data yang digunakan yaitu data campuran (mixed) berupa data kuantitatif dan data kualitatif. Data kuantitatif digunakan untuk mengetahui kelayakan dari ahli media, ahli materi dan siswa. Data kualitatif digunakan untuk mengetahui jawaban dari guru bahasa Mandarin. Hasil yang diperoleh yakni media modul cetak menulis hanzi terintegrasi website ‘sangat layak’ untuk digunakan dalam pembelajaran menulis Hanzi. Hal tersebut berdasarkan pada penilaian ahli media yang memperoleh hasil persentase sebesar 94%, dan ahli materi sebesar 97% dengan kriteria sangat layak. Hasil uji coba produk yang dilakukan kepada 11 siswa yakni memperoleh hasil persentase sebesar dengan kriteria sangat layak. Dengan demikian, media tersebut dapat menjadi solusi atas kesulitan penulisan hanzi pada siswa.

Abstract

This paper aims to solve the problem of the lack of use of German language in German lessons and the lack of mastery of material and didactic methodological competence of Indonesian German teachers through the implementation of Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL). The method used is to conduct a CLIL-based lesson using prepared prototypes in the workshops, conduct observations during implementation, collect interview data, evaluate and discuss work results. The workshop participants and respondents of this research were Indonesian German teachers. The results of this study show that CLIL can be implemented well and smoothly. By implementing CLIL, German teachers' mastery of materials and didactic methodological competence can be improved, making learning German more interesting and enjoyable. Ultimately, we can contribute to the efforts to achieve SDG target 4, namely quality education.

Abstract

Literary works can be a portrait of phenomena that occur in the surrounding nature, both as appreciation and criticism. This research aims to identify the spirit of the times in the poem "Nachts" written in 1826 by Joseph von Eichendorff during the Romantic literary era. In addition, this research also reveals the conception of nature and criticism of natural conditions given by the author. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with a mimetic approach, in which the poem "Nachts" is analysed as the main data source. The results show that this poem reflects human interaction with nature and contains criticism of environmental damage that is relevant to current conditions. In addition, this poem highlights the characteristics of the Romantic era such as appreciation of natural beauty, tranquillity, and self-reflection.

Abstract

This literature review investigates the use of metacognitive strategies—planning, monitoring, and evaluating—to support reading comprehension among B1-level learners of German as a Foreign Language (GFL). In the Indonesian educational context, limited exposure to authentic German texts and linguistic differences often hinder learners’ ability to understand complex written materials. Metacognitive strategies offer a structured approach to help learners manage their reading processes, build autonomy, and engage more deeply with texts. The review highlights how these strategies can be integrated into reading instruction through pre-reading (goal setting and text prediction), while-reading (clarifying and self-questioning), and post-reading (reflection and summarization) activities. However, the implementation of metacognitive instruction faces challenges, including low student awareness, limited teacher preparation, and a strong focus on exam-based outcomes in classrooms. To overcome these barriers, the paper advocates for sustained, explicit instruction and teacher training that embeds strategic reading into regular classroom practice. It also calls for curriculum and assessment reforms that value process-oriented reading. Ultimately, fostering metacognitive awareness equips learners not only to improve comprehension but also to become more self-regulated, reflective, and confident language users in the long term.
