Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze: 1) The development of import values, inflation, exchange rates, FDI, and Indonesia's foreign exchange reserves for the period 1996-2017. 2) The influence of Indonesia's import determinants for the 1996-2017 period. In this study, the type of data used is secondary data based on the period 1996-2017. The method used in this research is descriptive analysis and quantitative analysis, namely multiple regression analysis. The results of this study indicate: 1) The average development of imports is 8.68% per year, the average inflation is 10.30% per year, the average development of the rupiah exchange rate against the dollar is 11.17% per year, the average development FDI is 5.66% per year, and the average development of foreign exchange reserves is 11.83% per year. 2) Simultaneously or together inflation, exchange rate, FDI, and foreign exchange reserves have a positive and significant impact on Indonesian imports. Partially, inflation has a positive and significant effect on Indonesian imports, the exchange rate has a negative and significant effect on Indonesian imports, FDI has a positive but not significant effect on Indonesian imports, and foreign exchange reserves have a positive and significant effect on Indonesian imports. Abstract

The study aims to analyze: 1) the factors that influence the success of the Women’s Savings and Loan Cooperative receiving Perkassa retrofitting funds; 2) the influence of the success of the Women's Savings and Loans Cooperative recipient of Perkassa strengthening funds on members' income. The data used are primary and secondary data on women's savings and loan cooperatives in 6 regencies in Jambi Province, recipients of Perkassa retrofitting funds. The main analysis tool is the panel data regression model. The results of the study found that 1). the amount of percussion funds provided, and the operational costs of the Perkassa retrofitting funds issued have a significant positive effect, while the rate of return on congestion has a negative effect on the success of women's savings and loan cooperatives receiving percussion strengthening funds; 2). The success of cooperatives has a significant positive effect on the income of cooperative members

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the level of welfare of rice farmers in the Air Hangat Timur District and determine the factors that influence it. Welfare, in this case, is measured by using income. The number of samples as many as 98 farmers from the size of the population of rice farmers in the East Air Warms sub-district of 3531 rice farmers. Multiple regression model analyzed data. The study results found that rice farmers in Air Warm Timur District were relatively prosperous with a per capita income of IDR 5,053,227 per year. The size of the farmer's income is influenced by the number of dependents, yields, and capital.

Abstract

The study aims to analyze: 1) factors that influence the volume of business of savings and loan cooperatives that receive the assistance of agribusiness revolving funds; 2) the influence of income of cooperative members and the remaining results of the business on the success of the savings and loan cooperative recipients of agribusiness revolving funds. The data used is sourced from the stakeholders of the Savings and Loan Cooperative, among others, the agency in charge of cooperatives and MSMEs in Jambi Province and the Cooperative receiving assistance for agribusiness revolving funds in Jambi Province. In addition, data also comes from members of cooperatives that receive agribusiness revolving funds. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression models. The results of the study show that: 1) The cooperative business volume is significantly affected by the amount of own capital, the amount of agribusiness revolving funds while the guidance carried out by the relevant agency has no significant effect; 2) cooperative member income has a negative and significant effect on the success of the cooperative. Conversely, the remaining results of the business have a positive and significant effect on the success of the cooperative.

Abstract

The Objective of this research is two. firstly is to identify agro industry commodity oriented to export thah have excellent. secondly is to identify effect of industry development in terms of agro industry trough PDRB. As for this study is performed in Jambi Province. The methods used are descriptive quantitative. This analisis invelves two models. The first analysis use multile regression and the second analysis uses simple regression model. this analysis included, export price, competitor export price, exchange rates, national income and investment have influence to industry development as excellent agroindustry oriented to demand. The second, industry development as excellent agroindustry commodity has positive effect and real through inprovement of PDRB. Keywords: Agroindustry Product, Export Oriented

Abstract

The objectives of this research are: 1). to analyze the factors which determine the production of leading small-medium food industry, 2). to analyze the effect of leading small-medium food industry production towards community income. The analysis models used are simultaneous equation model (ESM) and simple regression. The research results show that the determining factors on the production of leading small-medium food industry are investment, production capacity, labor, sales, and the utilization of technology simultaneously. However, individually, the sales have significant influence on the production of leading small-medium food industry in which determined by promotion and market share. In addition, the influence of leading small-medium food industry is very significant on community income with a contribution of 59.54%. The amount of public income in the leading small-medium food industry is IDR 1.5 million for a single production period of 1.5 months or approximately IDR 1 million per month.

Abstract

The food and beverage industry, the paper and paper goods industry, and the rubber industry, rubber and plastic goods are leading industries that play an important role in the regional economy of Jambi Province. Therefore, policies are needed to sustain leading industries' growth and development. This research aims to formulate a downstream strategy for the leading processing industry in Jambi province. The method used is the Analytical Network Process (ANP).  The analysis results show that the priority strategy in the downstream development of the three leading industries in Jambi Province is optimizing the government's role in policy and funding for the downstream program.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the quality creative craft industry to be developed and to formulate a strategy for developing these priority creative industries. The analytical model used to determine the priority creative craft industry is the SAW (Simple Additive Weighting) model. The SAWSWOT model is used to formulate the priority creative industry development strategy. The result of the study shows that the batik industry has been selected as a priority creative craft industry. At the same time, the strategies that can be used to develop the batik industry are increasing IT mastery by management staff, workforce skills, using Jambi batik design applications, and marketing through E-Commerce.
