Abstract

This study aims to describe the situation experienced by Kompas newspaper in the context of Indonesian politics from 1960 to 1980. This method of this research is a qualitative descriptive study describing an event with a historical approach. The method used is critical discourse analysis by reviewing the editorial from Kompas newspaper from 1960 to 1980. From the research result, it was found that Malari incident (fifteenth of January 1974) was the starting point of Kompas during the New Order era. Kompas is considered an idealist newspaper, Kompas which expresses people's conscience and aspirations, boldly and critically exercises  social control. The pre-Malari Kompas is a free, independent and articulate newspaper. On the contrary, post-Malari Kompas is a less idealist newspaper, which tends to represent the interests of the rulers, government or even the state which never exercise social control critically, decisively, and courageously. The post-Malari Kompas is a newspaper that is not free or at least a newspaper that has a very limited independence. DOI: https://doi.org/10.24071/ijhs.2018.010207

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menyelami konstruksi diri perempuan Timur serta untuk mengetahui posisi pengarang dalam wacana kolonialisme. Citra diri perempuan Timur masih menjadi topik yang layak diteliti melalui kehadiran karya-karya sastra. Terlebih jika berhubungan dengan perpanjangan tangan akan kolonialisme. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan sudut pandang feminisme pascakolonial untuk mengungkap konsep diri perempuan. Penelitian ini menemukan adanya konstruksi perempuan ideal yang merdeka secara pikiran tanpa perlu menginduk pada konstruksi tradisional yang menggunakan aksesori tertentu untuk memperempuankan perempuan. Posisi pengarang sendiri merupakan wakil dari si terjajah yang menyuarakan resistansinya dengan cara ambivalensi.Kata Kunci: Kartini, konstruksi perempuan, pengarang, resistansi, kolonialisme

Abstract

Abstract: This study aimed to describe the perception of elementary school teachers Kanisius Branch of Central Java and Yogyakarta about the success in implementing the curriculum 2013. This study was descriptive research. The subjects were 65 teachers in Central Java and Yogyakarta under the Kanisius Foundation. The data were collected through questionares and interviews. The instrument validity was assessed by triangulation methods. The data were analyzed using the descriptive analysis technique. The results of the study show that the succes in 2013th curriculum  implementation were government, institution, teacher, parent and student. The success that comes from the teacher has a percentage of 27.5%. Student-generated success has a percentage of 31.2%. Successes from the government have a percentage of 15.9%. The success that comes from the institution has a percentage of 10.9%. Finally, the success that comes from parents has a percentage of 14.5%.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui sejauh mana penerapan keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi atau HOTS dalam perencanaan pembelajaran, pelaksanaan pembelajaran, dan penilaian pembelajaran kelas III di salah satu sekolah dasar swasta di Yogyakarta. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kurikulum 2013 yang disusun oleh pemerintah yang diharapkan mampu memuat proses berpikir keterampilan berpikir abad 21. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif yang dilengkapi dengan desain penelitian studi kasus dengan subjek yaitu guru kelas III Sekolah Dasar Swasta di Yogyakarta. Peneliti menggunakan metode angket, wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Data dianalisis dengan metode triangulasi peneliti sehingga dapat menarik kesimpulan. Uji validitas menggunakan uji kredibilitas dengan triangulasi dan ex-pert judgement. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa perencanaan pembelajaran didominasi oleh kecakapan berpikir tingkat rendah, walaupun terdapat kecakapan berpikir tingkat tinggi pada salah satu indikator pembelajaran. Dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran masih terdapat kemampuan yang jarang diterapkan yaitu kemampuan kreativitas dan komunikasi. Sementara itu, kemampuan berpikir kritis dan kolaborasi sudah sering diterapkan. Penilaian pembelajaran pada salah satu sekolah dasar di Yogyakarta juga didominasi oleh verba operasional pada keterampilan berpikir tingkat rendah. Faktor utama hasil belajar adalah karena kurangnya pemahaman guru tentang penerapan keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi dalam perencanaan, pelaksanaan dan penilaian pembelajaran tematik.

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kendala yang dialami guru SD dalam mengimplementasikan Kurikulum 2013. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah 65 guru SD di Yayasan Kanisius Cabang Jawa Tengah dan Yogyakarta. Data dikumpulkan dengan instrumen angket dan wawancara. Keabsahan data diperoleh dengan menggunakan trianggulasi teknik pengumpulan data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kendala-kendala yang dialami guru SD dalam implementasi kurikulum 2013 berasal dari pemerintah, institusi, guru, orang tua, dan siswa. Kendala dari pemerintah meliputi pendistribusian buku, penilaian, administrasi guru, alokasi waktu, sosialisasi, pelaksanaan pembelajaran tematik, panduan pelaksanaan kurikulum, dan kegiatan pembelajaran dalam buku siswa. Kendala dari institusi meliputi sarana dan prasarana, dan rotasi guru baik vertikal dan horisontal. Kendala dari guru meliputi pembuatan media pembelajaran, pemahaman guru, pemaduan antarmuatan pelajaran dalam pembelajaran tematik, dan penguasan teknologi informasi. Kendala dari orang tua dan siswa meliputi rapor dan adaptasi terhadap pembelajaran tematik. Kata Kunci: kurikulum 2013, kendala implementasi THE CONSTRAINTS OF ELEMENTARY SCHOOL TEACHERS IN THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THE 2013 CURRICULUM Abstract: This study was aimed to describe the constraints of elementary school teachers in the implementation of the 2013 curriculum. This study was descriptive research. The subjects were 65 teachers in Central Java and Yogyakarta under the Kanisius Foundation. The data were collected using questionnaires and interviews. The validity of the data was obtained through the method triangulation. The data were analyzed using the descriptive analysis technique. The findings showed that the constraints in the 2013 curriculum impementation stemmed from the government, institution, teachers, parents, and students. The constraints from the government included the book distribution, assessment, teachers’ administration, time allocation, socialisation, thematic teaching implementation, guidance of the curriculum implementation, and learning activities in students’ books. The constraints from the institution included the facilities and teacher rotation, both vertically and horizontally. The constraints from the teachers included the development of teaching media, teachers’ understanding, the integration of content from different subjects in the thematic teaching, and the IT literacy. The constraints from the parents and students included the report book and the adaption towards the thematic teaching. Keywords: 2013 th curriculum, implementation constraint

Abstract

(Understanding The Education Method Of Sasoko Kobayashi In Novel Totto Chan: The Little Girl At The Window By Tetsuko Kuroyanagi) This study was aimed to describe the humastic educational method applied by Sosaku Kobayashi at Tomoe Gakuen school in Totto Chan's novel: The Litle Girl At The Window by Tetsuko Kuroyanagi. The method used in this research was descriptive. Based on the analysis of the study of Totto Chan's novel: The Litle Girl At The Window by Tetsuko Kuroyanagi, it can be concluded that the educational method applied by Sosaku Kobayashi at Tomoe Gakuen school was a method of humanistic education including ways to create authentic personality such as (1) strengthen students' confidence in giving meaning to life  (2) paving the way for self-development, based on freedom and responsibility, (3) guiding learners to find life with self-motivation and desire to become more, (4) developing a worldview in a way original and expression in accordance with the students themselves. The four things can be seen through the learning activities in the classroom, learning activities outside the classroom, school rules, and the role of educators in learning.

Abstract

The history of the village of giring is closely related to the history of Yogyakarta. Therefore, in the village of Giring there are various interesting cultural and historical heritage sites. Currently, few tourists are willing to visit these cultural sites. This study aims to develop a tourism website for the village of Giring. The study was carried out using the following steps: analyzing needs, gathering information, designing the web, improving the design, conducting trials, and uploading the web. This research uses a research and development approach. Data collection using tests and questionnaires. The research data were analyzed quantitatively and qualitative. The results showed that the website developed was feasible to use based on the trial results. This website is considered useful for introducing the many cultural and traditional potentials of Giring Village. The website contains various cultures and traditions as well as traditional games that develop in society. Visitors can enjoy various religious sites that contain interesting stories about Ki Ageng Giring. Keywords: website, cultural tourism, Giring

0px; "> The objectives of this research are to understand the country’s hegemony in the Kompas short stories compilation,Dua Kelamin bagi Midin, and the impacts of country’s hegemony in it. This research uses a dialectic method. Thismethod has been used to analyse six short stories in the short stories compilation through social contextual aspects.This research uses Gramsci’s hegemony theory which emphasizes the importance of idea in social politics control andcritical discourse analysis to analyze text intensively through historical context. Short stories have a unique positionin its corelation to the country’s intervention in literatures. Short stories become a part of mass media or newspaperhegemonied by a country. On that position, short stories have some benefits and they are not hegemonied directly by acountry. Short stories hegemony helps mass media to balance news dealing with some mass media which get pressurefrom country. The six analyzed short stories prove that there is ideological plurality and complexity built in thecharacters relationships in the stories. Abstract

Abstrak Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan wujud kritik sosial yang terdapat dalam stand up comedy studi kasus comic Abdurrahum Arsyad dan mendeskripsikan penyimpangan prinsip kerja sama yang terdapat dalam stand up comedy studi kasus comic Abdurrahum Arsyad. Metode analisis menggunakan perspektif pragmatik. Berdasakan hasil analisis mengenai wujud penyimpangan prinsip kerja sama dan kritik sosial yang terdapat dalam stand up comedy yang disampaikan oleh Abdurrahum Arsyad maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa: (1) wujud penyimpangan prinsip kerja sama yang terdapat dalam stand up comedy Indonesia season 4 oleh comic Abdurrahum Arsyad terdiri dari penyimpangan maksim kuantitas, maksim kualitas, maksim relevansi dan maksim pelaksanaan. (2) Stand up comedy merupakan salah satu jenis humor yang berkembang di masyarakat yang diungkapkan dengan melanggar maksim kuantitas, kualitas, relevansi, dan pelaksanaan dapat digunakan sebagai sarana untuk menyampaikan kritik sosial karena dapat diungkapkan dengan bahasa yang harmonis dan mempunyai kesan santai serta menggelitik. Kata kunci : kritik sosial, stand up comedy, pragmatik Abstract This study aimed to describe the form of social criticism contained in the stand-up comedy comic case study Abdurrahum Arsyad and describes the deviation of the principle of cooperation contained in stand up comedy comic case study Abdurrahum Arsyad. The analytical method used a pragmatic perspective. Based on the analysis of the existence of deviations from the principles of cooperation and social criticism contained in the stand up comedy presented by Abdurrahum Arsyad, it can be concluded that: (1) a deviation of the cooperation principle contained in the stand up comedy Indonesia season 4 by comic Abdurrahum Arsyad from maximal deviations of quantity, maxim of quality, maxim of relevance and maxim of implementation. (2) Stand up comedy is one type of humor that develops in a society expressed by violating the maxim of quantity, quality, relevance, and execution can be used as a means of conveying social criticism because it can be expressed in harmonious language and has a relaxed and intriguing impression.
