Abstract

Universitas Hindu Indonesia memiliki beberapa fakultas, salah satunya yaitu Fakultas Teknologi Informasi dan Sains yang memiliki dua Prodi yaitu Prodi Biologi, dan Prodi Sistem Informasi. Prodi Sistem Informasi berdiri pada tahun 2019, yang masih tergolong Prodi baru dan memiliki mahasiswa yang sedikit. Penelitian ini menggunakan bahasa pemrograman pyhton dengan metode visualisasi data ke dalam bentuk geospasial (peta), Data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini merupakan data keseluruhan mahasiswa Sistem Informasi yang telah diolah dan didapatkan data bersih berjumlah sebanyak 79 data mahasiswa dengan ketentuan format data yang digunakan adalah Nim, Nama, Angkatan, Kabupaten, Kecamatan, Alamat, Latitude, dan Longitude, setiap mahasiswa. Hasil yang didapatkan dari dilakukannya visualisasi data geospasial adalah terdapatnya mahasiswa dari Denpasar (37), Badung, (19), Gianyar (10), Tabanan (7), Klungkung (4) dan Karangasem (2). Dengan didapatkannya hasil diatas diharapkan akan memudahkan Prodi Sistem Informasi melakukan sosialisasi ke daerah-daerah yang belum terdapat mahasiswa sistem informasi sebelumnya.

Abstract

Penelitian ini tentang pemanfaatan QR-Code sebagai media digital tatatertib di Pura Penataran Agung. Dalam era digital yang maju, QR-Code dapat digunakan untuk mengelola tata tertib pura secara efisien. Sistem yang dikembangkan terdiri dari QR-Code yang terpasang di pura. Pengunjung dapat mengakses informasi tentang aturan dan tata tertib pura. Dengan demikian menunjukkan manfaat signifikan, termasuk efisiensi dan peningkatan pemahaman pengunjung. Penerapan QR-Code sebagai media digital tatatertib di pura dapat memberikan contoh bagi tempat suci lainnya dalam memanfaatkan teknologi untuk meningkatkan pengalaman pengunjung dalam konteks keagamaan dan budaya.

Abstract

The development of an Alumni Information System based on a Website is an effective solution in managing information and data regarding an institution's alumni. Issues related to non-systemic and manual information dissemination, as well as challenges in gathering alumni data, are expected to be resolved by this system. It is anticipated that this system will facilitate alumni in connecting and interacting. The aim of this research is to develop an effective and efficient alumni information system to enhance alumni engagement and participation in institutional activities. The research follows a waterfall model involving various stages, starting from needs analysis, design, implementation, testing, to maintenance. The developed alumni information system includes features such as alumni profiles, current news and information, job vacancies, and alumni activities. This system is implemented in the form of a website using the CodeIgniter framework. Testing results using black box testing indicate that this system effectively manages various data and information crucial for alumni. Alumni using this system can easily access and update their profile information, as well as connect with fellow alumni and the institution. For future research, it is hoped that a more flexible information system can be developed, perhaps in the form of a mobile-based application.

Abstract

LMS is a platform for managing, delivering and tracking online training or education. COBIT is a framework that will be used for information technology (IT) management and governance. The MEA Domain ensures the system has the appropriate design and controls required to comply with regulatory requirements. Meanwhile, EDM will ensure goals are achieved by evaluating stakeholder needs, conditions and choices. The data collection process used is Interview, Observation, Questionnaire. The process carried out to determine information system technology that is in accordance with the COBIT 5 standard is Maturity Level analysis and Gap Analysis. The Maturity Level of the Learning Management System at Hindu Indonesia University using COBIT 5 MEA and EDM Domains with the COBIT 5 framework reaches Level 4: Predictable Process. The level of gap in the Learning Management System at Indonesian Hindu University is 0.52 in MEA01 and 0.5 in EDM01. To reach Maturity Level 5, managers need to improve the quality of governance, supervision and stakeholder involvement in the LMS management process.

Abstract

This study discusses the optimization of bandwidth usage in the computer network of Heteroku Computer Bali by implementing the Simple Queue method on a Mikrotik Routerboard device. The main issue identified was the unequal distribution of bandwidth, which resulted in decreased network connection quality. The purpose of this study was to implement the Simple Queue method to optimize bandwidth usage and to analyze its impact on network stability. The research followed the stages of the Network Development Life Cycle, including analysis, design, simulation, implementation, and monitoring. Configuration was carried out by limiting Ether1 to Ether5 to 100 Mbps each. The test results showed an improvement in fair bandwidth distribution and more stable network connectivity. Thus, the implementation of the Simple Queue method successfully addressed the issue of bandwidth distribution and improved the overall network performance in the study environment.

Abstract

Manual management of transactions and administration is still commonly found in car rental companies, often leading to recording errors, limited data tracking, and operational inefficiency. CV Metro Trans Christindo Bali is one such company facing these issues. This prompted the development of a web-based information system to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness. The system was developed using the ADDIE approach, involving the stages of needs analysis, system design, and implementation using Laravel 11, PHP 8.2, and a MySQL database. The system features include booking via messaging services, vehicle data management, rental transactions, customer reviews, and operational reporting. Testing was conducted using blackbox testing with the functional testing method to ensure each feature operates according to specifications. The results showed that the system functions optimally without significant errors and is capable of improving administrative order, work efficiency, and supporting decision-making within the company.

Abstract

In the digital era, the preservation of local culture faces both challenges and opportunities. One of the cultural heritages that requires attention is traditional Balinese woven fabric, which holds high historical, aesthetic, and philosophical values but remains relatively unknown among the younger generation. This study aims to design an interactive and educational User Interface (UI) and User Experience (UX) for a website dedicated to introducing and marketing traditional Balinese woven fabrics. The approach is expected to bridge traditional values with modern digital habits, while fostering cultural appreciation through digital media. This research adopts the prototype method, with the UI/UX design developed using Figma and evaluated using the System Usability Scale (SUS) questionnaire. The test results from 41 respondents yielded a SUS score of 70, which is above the global average score of 68, indicating that the design falls within the “Good” or “Acceptable” category. The resulting website design not only facilitates product transactions but also provides educational information about the creation process and cultural values embedded in the fabrics. Therefore, the developed UI/UX design is expected to serve as a digital solution for preserving Balinese woven fabrics and increasing young people’s engagement with local cultural heritage.
