Abstract

Parents are the first and the most important social environment in a child’s life. This study aimed at describing parents’ involvement at early childhood education institutions in Buleleng district, Buleleng regency, Bali. The data of the study were collected from 230 respondents at early childhood education institutions and were analyzed quantitatively and qualitatively. The results showed that most of the respondents had a tendency of a low involvement, i.e. , 136 respondents ( 59.1%) , while the number of respondents with a high involvement was 94 ( 49.9%). This indicates that there are still many parents who ignore the importance of parents’ role at school. In addition, the school has not yet got a program that maximally supports parents at school.

Abstract

Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka merupakan kebijakan Menteri Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan, yang bertujuan mendorong mahasiswa untuk menguasai berbagai keilmuan yang berguna untuk memasuki dunia kerja. Kampus merdeka memberikan kesempatan bagi mahasiswa untuk memilih mata kuliah yang akan mereka ambil. Pembelajaran abad ke-21 mendorong dan  menyiapkan mahasiswa yang mampu berpikir kritis, kolaboratif, komunikatif, dan kreatif. Merdeka belajar kampus merdeka menyeimbangkan cipta, rasa, dan karsa serta menambah pengalaman lapangan untuk merespon tuntutan pekerjaan dan tuntutan global. Merdeka belajar kampus merdeka dan pembelajaran abad ke-21 sama-sama mempunyai relevansi dengan pengembangan pendidikan karakter yang berbasis pada lima nilai karakter utama yaitu: religius, nasionalis, integritas, gotong royong, dan mandiri. Selain berdasarkan pada lima nilai karakter utama juga berdasarkan pada delapan belah nilai karakter yaitu: religius, jujur, toleransi, disiplin, kerja keras, kreatif, mandiri, demokratis, rasa ingin tahu, semangat kebangsaan, cinta tanah air, menghargai prestasi, bersahabat/komunikatif, cinta damai, gemar membaca, peduli lingkungan, peduli sosial, tanggung jawab.

Abstract

Every year the average number of PAUD institutions in Bali increases by one hundreds. This increase in quantity should be directly proportional to the improvement in quality. However, based on the evaluation results of the BAN PAUD PNF accreditation agency in Bali Province, in standard 6 regarding the management of institutions it often has the lowest value than other standards so that development activities are needed for the managerial / managerial skills of PAUD institutions. Based on the results of interviews with several heads of PAUD institutions in Nusa Penida Subdistrict, it is known that in this sub-district managerial training has never been held. Then the purpose of implementing community service is to improve the managerial ability of the head of PAUD in managing PAUD institutions in Nusa Penida sub-district through training and mentoring. This activity was attended by 22 heads of PAUD institutions with a pattern of seminars and training and mentoring for three days. This activity produced program development documents and PAUD agency program report documents and significantly increased the knowledge of activity participants towards the management of the institution.

Abstract

The lack of availability of learning media that adapts a traditional game causes teaching and learning activities to become monotonous, especially in social studies content. This affects the decreasing interest of students to be active in learning. The purpose of this research is to create a social media snake and ladder game for fifth grade elementary school students. This type of research is development research based on the ADDIE development model. The subjects of this study consisted of 2 material experts, 2 media experts, 2 practitioners, and 10 students for the small group test. The data collection method in this study applies a questionnaire method with a rating scale instrument as a data collection instrument. The data analysis technique used is descriptive qualitative and quantitative analysis techniques. The data obtained were then analyzed to calculate the validity, feasibility, and practicality of the media. The results of the validity analysis are in the range of scores of 4.21 ≤ Va < 5.00 with very valid criteria. The average media feasibility assessment score shows a percentage above 90% in the very feasible category, and the media practicality assessment in terms of student responses gets a score of 92.2% which is categorized as very practical. Based on the results of the analysis, the Social Sciences Snakes and Ladders game media for fifth grade elementary school students on the topic of our friend's environment was declared to be very valid, feasible, and practically applied to teaching and learning activities.

Abstract

Rendahnya literasi budaya yang terjadi di Indonesia dibuktikan dengan banyaknya kasus diskriminasi dan sara yang terjadi di masyarakat. Beberapa alasan penyebab literasi budaya pada siswa yang rendah yaitu belum adanya sarana dan prasarana yang menunjang pembelajaran. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu mengembangkan game edukasi robot petualang Nusantara untuk meningkatkan literasi budaya. Jenis penelitian ini yaitu pengembangan dengan model ADDIE. Subjek pengembangan dalam penelitian ini adalah game edukasi robot petualang Nusantara, sedangkan objek pengembangannya adalah validitas, respon pengguna, dan keefektifan produk. Subjek uji coba produk yaitu 2 ahli, 2 praktisi, dan 19 siswa kelas IV SD. Populasi dalam penelitian berjumlah adalah 19 siswa. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik sampling jenuh, sehingga jumlah sampel yaitu 19 siswa. Instrumen pengumpulan data yaitu pedoman observasi, pedoman wawancara, dan lembar rating scale. Data dianalisis menggunakan teknik analisis deskriptif kualitatif, kuantitatif, dan statistik inferensial. Hasil analisis data yaitu validitas isi media memperoleh skor sebesar 0,98 (sangat valid), respon guru yaitu 100% (sangat valid), dan respon siswa yaitu 96,05%, (sangat valid). Hasil analisis efektivitas memperoleh hasil 0,000 < 0,05, sehingga game edukasi robot petualang nusantara layak dan efektif digunakan untuk meningkatkan literasi budaya.

Abstract

Science process skills include observing, classifying, comparing, measuring, communicating, and experimenting. Not all students can master science process skills well, so it is necessary to apply appropriate learning methods to improve students' science process skills. This study aimed to determine the PAKEM learning model's effect on group B children's science process skills. The type of research carried out was a quasi-experimental study with a pretest-posttest control group design. The population in this study is 80 people. The sample in this study, the experimental group, consisted of 25 people, while the control group consisted of 28 people. Data on the results of science process skills were collected using an instrument in the form of an observation sheet. It was analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistical analysis techniques (t-test). The descriptive analysis results obtained that the experimental group's average score was greater than the average score of the control group. Based on the results of the data analysis, it can be concluded that there is a significant influence of the PAKEM learning model on the science process skills of group B children.

Abstract

Rendahnya keterampilan sosial yang dimiliki oleh anak usia dini disebabkan karena anak lebih banyak bermain gadget dibandingkan bermain dengan teman sebanya. Adapun tujuan dari penelitian ini yakni untuk mengetahui perbedaan yang signifikan keterampilan sosial antara kelompok anak yang dibelajarkan dengan kegiatan meronce melalui model kooperatif tipe think pair share dengan kelompok anak yang dibelajarkan model pembelajaran konvensional kelompok B. Jenis penelitian ini termasuk penelitian quasi eksperimen dengan rancangan menggunakan Non-Equivalent Post-Test Only Control Group Design. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh anak kelompok B yang berjumlah 86 orang. Penarikan sampel dilakukan menggunakan teknik random sampling, dengan jumlah sampel penelitian yakni 36 anak. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian dilakukan menggunakan metode observasi, dengan instrument penelitian berupa pedoman observasi. Data yang diperoleh dalam penelitian kemudian dianalisis dengan teknik analisis deskriptif kuantitatif melalui uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, dan uji hipotesis. Uji hipotesis dilaksanakan dengan menggunakan uji-t dengan taraf signifikan 5%. Hasil penelitian yaitu terdapat perbedaan signifikan keterampilan sosial kelompok anak yang dibelajarkan menggunakan kegiatan meronce melalui model kooperatif tipe think pair share dan kelompok anak yang dibelajarkan dengan model pembelajaran konvensional. Hal ini disimpulkan bahwa kegiatan meronce melalui model kooperatif tipe think pair share berpengaruh terhadap keterampilan sosial anak kelompok B.

Abstract

This research is development research (research and development). The product developed is Learning Video Media Based on the SIBI Method for Deaf Children, Grade II. This study aims to (1) determine the design of learning video media based on the SIBI method for grade II deaf students; (2) determine the validity of learning video media based on the SIBI method for grade II deaf children; and (3) determine the response of deaf students to learning video media based on the SIBI method for grade II deaf children. The 4D (four-D) model is a method used in the process of developing learning videos based on the SIBI method. The data collection method used is a questionnaire, which is then filled out by the respondents. Data analysis methods and techniques used in this research are qualitative and quantitative descriptive statistical analysis. In this SIBI method-based learning video media obtained a validation score by learning media experts of 94.5% (very good), then the validity test score by learning material experts was 97.85% (very good), then the results of media assessment through practitioner/teacher responses were 93.5% (very practical), and through student responses, a score of 86% (good). It is concluded that this development research obtained results with very good and very practical qualification levels, so that the products produced are feasible to be applied and used in the learning process for deaf children in grade II SDN 2 Bengkala

Abstract

A child who actively speaks does not necessarily have good language skills, and a child who tends to be quiet does not mean that the child experiences obstacles in his language aspect. This research aims to produce shadow puppet videos that can help children aged 4-6 years develop speaking skills using time vocabulary. This development research uses the Research and Development (R&D) method with the ADDIE model. The subjects involved in this research were early childhood children. The validity of the shadow puppet video was measured through an evaluation questionnaire assessed by two experts, namely a media expert and a material expert. This research uses qualitative statistical analysis to process descriptive and subjective data, such as expert reviews, criticism and suggestions. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that the development of shadow puppet videos to stimulate the speaking skills of children aged 4-6 years in using time vocabulary has very high validity. Therefore, this shadow puppet video can be used as media in the school environment to support the learning process.

Abstract

Teachers are faced with numerous difficulties during the COVID-19 Pandemic, particularly in ensuring that the learning process continues to run smoothly in the face of uncertainty. The aim of this study was to examine the relationship between learning agility and commitment to change among preschool teachers. The sample in this study were 118 preschool teachers in Buleleng District. The results indicated that there is a significantly positive relationship between learning agility and commitment to change, r (118) = 0.234, p < 0.01. Further results showed that learning agility is also correlated with two dimensions of commitment to change, namely affective commitment to change r (118) = 0.438, p < 0.01 and normative commitment to change r (118) = 0.181, p < 0.05. The results contribute to theoretical advances in understanding learning agility and commitment to change as well as promoting the success of change in early childhood educational institution.
