Abstract

Tujuan studi ini adalah mengetahui pengaruh pergerakan U-Turn terhadap kecepatan kendaraan pada ruas jalan perkotaan bila ada dan tidak adanya U-Turn. Untuk mengetahui pengaruh tersebut perlu dilakukan suatu survei lapangan. Survei lapangan dilakukan pada ruas  Jalan Muh. Yamin di Kota Palu dengan menggunakan kamera video selama 6 jam. Data yang dikumpulkan adalah data waktu tempuh dan volume lalu-lintas. Survei waktu tempuh dilakukan dengan cara manual dengan menggunakan stopwatch untuk menghitung waktu tempuh setiap kendaraan yang melewati segmen pengamatan sepanjang 80 m yang dibagi dalam empat segmen, masing-masing 20 m. Untuk survei lalu-lintas juga dilakukan dengan cara manual yaitu dengan mencatat banyaknya kendaraan yang melewati segmen pengamatan setiap 5 menit selama 6 jam, yang dibagi berdasarkan kelompoknya yaitu sepeda motor, kendaraan ringan dan kendaraan berat. Hasil studi ini mendapatkan bahwa semakin besar volume kendaraan maka semakin jauh jarak pengaruh U-Turn terhadap kecepatan kendaraan

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui pengaruh keberadaan Swalayan PMU terhadap kinerjajalan yang diakibatkan oleh aktivitas-aktivitas seperti parker kendaraan di pinggir jalan, pejalankaki yang menyeberang dan angkutan umum yang berhenti. Data waktu tempuh dan data aruslalu-lintas telah dikumpulkan melalui survey selama jam-jam sibuk pada hari Sabtu. Metodeanalisis yang digunakan adalah Manual Kapasitas Jalan Indonesia 1997 (MKJI-1997) meliputiKapasitas, Kecepatan dan Derajat kejenuhan jalan.Penelitian akan membandingkan volume dan kecepatan kendaraan dengan dan tanpadipengaruhi aktivitas-aktivitas Swalayan PMU.Hasil dari penelitian ini mengindikasikan bahwa aktivitas-aktivitas pada Swalayan PMU dapatmenurunkan capasitas jalan dari 5130 smp/jam menjadi 4308 smp/jam dan Kecepatankendaraan berkurang dari 42,99 km/jam menjadi 34,20 km/jam. Berdasarkan analisa Derajatkejenuhan, Jalan Walter Monginsidi pada Tahun 2012 akan mengalami kemacetan dengan nilaiDerajat kejenuhan mencapai 0,78

Abstract

Tulisan ini merupakan rangkaian dari penelitian tentang studi nilai stabilitas dan Marshall sisa dariCampuran Beton Aspal yang didaur ulang. Pada Tulisan ini khusus membahas tentang studivolumetrik campuran aspal hasil daur ulang. Hal ini penting karena parameter Stabilitas danMarshall sisa sangat dipengaruhi oleh kondisi rongga dalam campuran.Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat karakteristik volumetrik campuran beton aspal hasildaur ulang yang meliputi nilai VIM, VMA dan Nilai VFB.Skenario dari campuran beton aspal daur ulang pada penelitian ini adalah memvariasikan kadaraspal dalam lima variasi yaitu 4,6% (tanpa bahan peremaja), 5.1% , 5.6% , 6.1% dan 6.6%.Sementara kadar bahan peremaja dalam lima variasi, yaitu 0%, 5.0% , 10% , 15% dan 20%. Bendauji kemudian dianalisis volumetrik di Laboratorium.Hasil penelitian mendapatkan bahwa Nilai Kadar Aspal Optimum Campuran Beton Aspal DaurUlang cenderung menurun dengan bertambahnya kadar bahan peremaja yang digunakan

Abstract

Setiap jenis usaha perdagangan seperti perdagangan pakaian di Kota Palu memerlukan tempat parkir yang cukup untuk meminimalkan tingkat gannguan terhadap arus lalu-lintas di sekitarnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendapatkan model kebutuhan Satuan Ruang Parkir suatu usaha perdagangan pakaian di Kota Palu berdasarkan jenis kendaraan . Pengumpulan data telah dilakukan terhadap 10 lokasi usaha perdagangan pakaian di Kota Palu.Data penelitian meliputi data primer dan data sekunder. Survei pengambilan data primer dan sekunder berupa data keluar-masuk kendaraan di tempat parkir, lama operasi, modal usaha, luas bangunan, jumlah karyawan, jumlah kendaraan yang parkir telah disurvei.Hasil penelitian ini mendapatkan bahwa model hubungan Kebutuhan Satuan Ruang Parkir (SRP) untuk kendaraan roda empat adalah Y= 0,187 + 0,016 X1 , sementara untuk kendaraan roda dua adalah Y= 3,935 + 0,022 X3

Abstract

One of the few supermakets in Palu city which considerably crowded is Grand Hero Supermarket. This Supermarket was located on the Basuki Rahmat street. Because this road is an arterial road with highly traffic volume at certain hours, so the Grand Hero Supermarket activity will affect the performance of the road. At peak hours, many vehicles are in and out from the supermaket, disrupting theperformance of BasukiRahmat road. The aim of this research is to understand the existing condition of the Basuki Rahmat street performance with or without the activity of Grand Hero Supermaket. This research was conducted by surveying the volume of the street, side friction and travel time. The survey was carried on Wednesday 04-06-2015 and Saturday 6-06 2015. The analysis was conducted by using Manual Kapasitas Jalan Indonesia 1997 method. The results show that the performance of JalanBasuki Rahmat with no Grand Hero Supermarket’s activity has a degree of saturation 0.35. Grand Hero Supermarket with activity would increase the degree of saturation that is 0.43 that increases 22.86%. The speed of light vehicles by MKJI is  42.84 km / h. With the Grand Hero Supermarket activity, the speed of light vehicle decreased from 27.76 km/ h to 23.74 km / h or there are speed reductions of 14.49%. The level of service with the Grand Hero Supermarket activity was at B condition with DS rate of 0,43

Abstract

The placement of median opening (U Turn) and the distance of inter median opening at several road in Palu city were indicated that it does not meet technical requirement so it can put the road user in dangerous situation which when the traffic flowing on the road grow higher then the risk of traffic accident will rise too. Moreover, the placement of median opening was indicated as an access road where as a place for specific activity beside the road. The existence of Garuda-Abd. Rahman Saleh as a T intersection also made an impact to the degree of saturation of certain road segment. The method that used to solve this study is based on the survey to collect the primary and secondary data MKJI 97 and median standard design analysis. The result shows that all of the placement median opening at several urban road links was not appropriate to the requirement standard then it needs reposition or any repairmen.

Abstract

Traffic flow is due to the interaction between the system of activities with transport network system inthe form of movement of vehicles on the highway. This type of land use led to a different traffic flowfluctuations every street throughout the day.The purpose of this study was to determine fluctuations in traffic, timing and magnitude of peak hours ,percentage of traffic is covered by long observation of traffic flows.Traffic flow data collection done on location, KH. Wahid Hashym Street, Sis Al Jufri Street andPangeran Diponegoro street, West Palu. The type of data on the study include primary data andsecondary data. The primary data include the volume of data traffic flow on roads. Secondary dataincludes data of road networks, land use maps, maps of the Palu City. The primary data werecollected with a traffic volume survey on Monday – Thursday and Saturday.The result of the study was to found that the secondary arterial road network system, the peak hourson weekdays occurred at 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. with the traffic flow of 2168 pcu /h, at the weekendoccurred at 08:00 to 09:00 with traffic flow for 2330 pcu/h. At the secondary collector road networksystem, the peak hours on weekdays occur in at 07.00 - 08.00, the traffic flow of 1928 pcu/hour, atthe weekend occurred at 4:00 p.m. to 17:00, the traffic flow of 1638 pcu h.The results of fluctuation analysis of traffic flow on weekdays for a secondary arterial roads was foundthat if the survey was conducted for 16 hours then the time most remains are 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.,with the volume of traffic is 92% covered. When the survey was conducted for 12 hours then the besttime is 07:00 to 19:00, traffic volume is 73.42% covered. If the volume of traffic surveys carried out for 8hours, the best time is at 11:00 to 19:00, traffic volume data covered is 48.68%.The results on the secondary collector streets on working hours to get that when the traffic volumesurvey for 16 hours then the best time is 06:00 to 22:00 with traffic volume covered 92.34%. . When thesurvey was conducted for 12 hours then the best time is 07:00 to 19:00, traffic volume is 77.02%covered. . If the volume of traffic surveys carried out for 8 hours, the best time is at 07:00 to 15:00,traffic volume data covered is 54.15%.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to know characteristic of Marshall Stability and Marshall Immersion value of the old asphalt mixing that recycling by rejuvenating diesel oil. The old Asphalt mix from asphalt pavement deteroration on Jalan Soekarno Hatta, Palu Central Sulawesi.Result of extraction test of old asphalt mix was to found the asphalt content 4,6%. This scenarios of recycling asphalt in this research were five varieties of asphalt content and five varieties of rejuvenating agent. Varieties of asphalt content are 4,6% (without added of new asphalt), 5,1%, 5,6%, 6,1% and 6,6%. Varieties of rejuvenating agent are 0%, 5%, 10%, 15% and 20%. Specimen of asphalt pavement recycled testing by Marshall stability testing machine and volumetric analysis.The result of Marshall testing on Optimum Bitumen Content was found that increasing of rejuvenating agent content in asphalt recycling mix caused Marshall stability ,Marshall Immersion and Density Values were decrease. From Marshall stability value, maximum content of rejuvenating agent still required specification is 35,29% and from Marshall immersion value, maximum content of rejuvenating agent is 46,18%

Abstract

Asphalt Concrete Binder Course (AC-BC) Pavement is a type of asphalt pavement located between base layer and wearing course.  The study was conducted describing the the effect of the use of rice husk ash onthe characteristics of asphalt concrete AC-BC mixtures. The purpose of this study was to determine thecharacteristics of the asphalt concrete binder course mixtures (AC-BC) which uses rice husk ash as filler,determine the optimum percentage of rice husk filler in AC-BC pavement mixtures. Research materials include coarse aggregate, fine aggregate and rice husk ash. Coarse and fine aggregateobtained from Stone Cruiser of Taipa and Palu River, while rice husk ash obtained fromBiromaru area in Sigi Regency. Asphalt used in this study is Asphalt pen. 60/70 produced by Pertamina.Investigation and testing of these materials has been carried out in the Laboratory of Transportation andHighways, Department of Civil Tadulako University of Palu.Research has been carried out by using rice husk ash filler variation of 0%, 25% and 50%. The datacollected includes characteristics of volumetric and Marshall test characteristics of AC-BC pavementmixture on each rice husk ash content. The data include density, VIM, VMA, VFB, Stability, flow, MarshallQuotient value and residual stability of the mixture. The data is processed and displayed in graphical form,  then do a comparative analysis between the characteristics of the AC-BC mixture that uses rice husk ash andwithout rice husk ash.The results of the study found that increasing the percentage of rice husk ash content in the mix AC-BC tendsto increase the use of bitumen content. It can be seen from the increasing value of Optimum Bitumen Content(OBC) on rice husk ash variation of 0% - 50%. The results also gain an increase in the durability of the ACBCmixtureofricehuskashonthevariationof0%- 5%asindicatedbytheincreasedtheresidualstabilityvalueofthe AC-BC pavementmixtures.Maximum stabilityoccursinrice huskashcontentof25%.Keywords: Asphalt Concrete Binder Course (AC-BC), rice husk ash

Abstract

Universitas Tadulako (UNTAD), sebagai kampus terbesar di Sulawesi Tengah dengan luas wilayah mencapai sekitar 200 Ha, menampung lebih dari 44.173 orang mahasiswa serta staf pengajar dan tenaga kependidikan mencapai 2.518 orang dalam waktu bersamaan. Tingginya aktivitas di kampus ini berpotensi mengakibatkan risiko keselamatan berlalu lintas. Oleh karena itu, sebuah penelitian dilakukan untuk menganalisis kondisi keselamatan lalu lintas di lingkungan kampus UNTAD dengan menggunakan metode observasi lapangan secara visual. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sejumlah rambu lalu lintas tidak memenuhi standar karena posisinya yang terhalang pohon, sehingga sulit terbaca dan dipahami. Selain itu, marka jalan hanya terbatas pada marka kejut dan memerlukan perbaikan. Fasilitas trotoar juga perlu diperbaiki agar dapat memberikan perlindungan yang lebih baik bagi pejalan kaki. Meskipun demikian, pintu masuk dan pintu keluar umumnya memenuhi standar jarak pandang kecuali pada pintu keluar di Pascasarjana yang memerlukan perbaikan. Diharapkan, hasil penelitian ini dapat menjadi dasar untuk meningkatkan keselamatan lalu lintas di lingkungan kampus UNTAD melalui perbaikan infrastruktur yang diperlukan.
