Abstract

Asbuton is a natural asphalt found in Buton Island, South-East Sulawesi with preservation approximately 210 million tonnes particularly found in Lawele area. Warm Mixing Asbuton usually uses temperature of 120°C - 125°C in Special Specification Warm Mixing of Asbuton. In mixing, temperature is one of the most important factors in the construction of road work and it also influences the characteristics of the mixture that are the durability and rut resistance. This study aims to understand the influence of temperature variation of Asbuton warm mixing against ACWC mixing durability and the best durability of some mixing temperature variations. The temperature variation used in mixing and compaction are 105ºC and 95ºC, 115ºC and 105ºC, 125ºC and 115ºC. This study were using Asbuton Butir T 15/25 Ex. Bina Prima Indonesia (BPI), with fluxing materials, which is mixtures from asphalt penetration 60.70 and solar Ex.Pertamina with materials taken from Stone Crusher Ex.Taipa River. The research were  utilyzes Marshall Test to obtain  the characteristic of mixing, referring to SNI and Bina Marga. The result showed that durability is highly influenced by temperature variation of mixing and compacting. Mixing temperature of 105°C and compaction of 95°C are not recommended because the mixing durability does not meet  the specification. On the other hand the highest temperature is resulting in mixing durability that still meet the good specifications.

Abstract

The purpose of this Research is to know sand quality and exploiting go out to sea as smooth aggregate for a concrete mixture asphalt. Where to determine made by optimum asphalt content 5 object test with asphalt rate variation, that are 5%, 5,5%, 6%, 6,5% and 7%. After obtaining optimum asphalt content value that is 6,4% hereinafter will be made by object test by using optimum asphalt rate. Sand condition to be used by is the condition of sea sand influenced by up and down of water sea, condition of sea sand which do not influenced by up and down of water sea, Sand condition influenced by up and down of water sea which have washed out. For three conditions of the sand tested by Marshall (measuring tool) with time variation of submersion that is 30 minutes, 1 hour, 3 hours, 5 hours and 24 hours. The obtained data is the condition of sea sand that influenced by up and down of sea, do not fulfill the specification of discharge, where sand discharge go out to sea above 4,5 mm.

Abstract

Since the outbreak of the Covid-19 Pandemic in Indonesia, there has been an increase in public interest in using bicycles, especially when exercising. This study aims to determine the characteristics, behavior, safety, habits, and perceptions of bicycle users in Palu City at this time, then a questionnaire was distributed with a total of 132 participating respondents. The method of descriptive and Frekuensi data analysis shows that the characteristics of cyclists generally cycle in weekend (88,6%) which is to exercise or visit sightseeing spots (78%), cyclist behavior is generally still good in the relationship between road users (98,5%), cyclist safety is indicated by the accident rate of 43,2% which is generally a single traffic accident (91,2%), cyclist generally increases their habit of exercising or visiting the sightseeing spots (10,6%) and visiting friends or family’s houses (5,3%) and the perception of cyclist who generally understands safety requirements when cycling (79,5%) and agrees that cycling can improve environmental quality (90,2%).

Abstract

Nilai Ekuivalensi Mobil Penumpang (EMP) diharapkan sangat tepat karena sangat penting dalam menentukan kapasitas, derajat kejenuhan hingga penanganan simpang tak bersinyal. Banyak metode yang telah digunakan dalam estimasi nilai EMP, namun berdasarkan literatur review menyatakan bahwa metode occupancy time dan metode kecepatan yang paling sesuai dengan kondisi simpang tak bersinyal.  Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan nilai EMP yang paling tepat dengan membandingkan metode occuoancy time dan metode speed. Untuk menentukan metode yang paling tepat dalam perhitungan EMP simpang tak bersinyal maka dilakukan perhitungan nilai kapasitas dan derajat kejenuhan berdasarkan metode speed dan occupancy time dan dibandingkan dgn nilai EMP MKJI. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa nilai EMP yang paling sesuai bagi simpang tak bersinyal adalah metode speed. Perubahan nilai EMP yang dianjurkan adalah EMP kendaraan tak bermotor= 0,45, EMP sepeda motor= 0,17, dan EMP kendaraan besar= 2,2. Penentuan nilai EMP yang  tepat diharapkan dapat memberikan hasil kinerja simpang dan penentuan masalah simpang yang akurat.

Abstract

Adanya aktivitas Hotel Grand The Sya  akan mempengaruhi beberapa ruas jalan. Ruas yang pertama yaitu jalan Sam Ratulangi yang akan menjadi pintu masuk dan yang kedua yaitu jalan Cik ditiro yang direncanakan akan menjadi pintu keluar. Hal ini tentu saja akan menimbulkan sumber tarikan dan bangkitan lalu lintas baru yang akan menambah volume lalu lintas. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan analisis dampak lalu lintas, sehingga diketahui dampak dari keberadaan Hotel Grand The Sya baik yang berkepentingan di hotel tersebut maupun pengguna yang hanya melintas pada jalan Sam Ratulangi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui kondisi lalu lintas saat ini pada JL.Samratulangi dan JL Cik Ditiro dan memprediksi tarikan pergerakan lalu lintas adanya Hotel Grand The Sya dan dampak adanya Hotel Grand The Sya terhadap Kinerja ruas jalan Sam Ratulangi dan jalan Cik Ditiro (derajat kejenuhan DS) Dari hasil analisis data, jam sibuk volume lalu lintas di ruas jalan Sam Ratulangi pukul 12.30-12.45 WITA dan untuk hari libur 12.00-12.45 sesi I, dan untuk sesi II berada pada jam sibuk pada hari kerja dan hari libur pukul 20.15-20.30 WITA. Sedangkan kinerja jalan didasarkan pada nilai derajat saturasi derajat jenuh pada ruas Jalan Samratulangi pada hari biasa yaitu 0,29 SMP/jam dan pada hari libur yaitu 0,24 SMP/jam dengan tingkat pelayanan B. untuk Jalan Cik Ditiro derajat saturasi pada hari biasa adalah 0,34 SMP/jam untuk hari libur adalah 0,29 SMP/jam dengan tingkat pelayanan B. DS nilai kondisi eksisting yang masih memiliki kinerja lalu lintas yang memadai, Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa pengaruh dampak belum berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja ruas jalan lokasi penelitian.

Abstract

Road damage indicates a condition where the structural and functional roads are no longer able to provide optimal service to traffic crossing the road. Traffic conditions and the types of vehicles that will cross a road greatly affect the design of construction planning and road pavement made. Asphalt or concrete pavement has frequent damage due to water entering the pavement so that it becomes damaged, this can be seen on Munif Rahman Street, Palu City, Central Sulawesi Province at Sta 0+000 – 2+200. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between vehicle speeds caused by various road damage conditions such as potholes, edge cracks, grain release, crests on Road Munif Rahman, Palu City, especially Sta. 0+000 – 2+200. The method used to determine the speed of the vehicle is the Spot Speed, and the Pavement Condition Index (PCI) method to determine the condition of the road pavement. From the results and discussion, some conclusions that can be drawn are the regression equation obtained is y = -0.0029x2 + 0.4101x + 10.841. R2 (R Square) obtained is R² = 0.3789. This means that the relationship between road damage and vehicle speed is 38% (poor), showing the relationship between the level of road damage and vehicle speed, that the lower the PCI value, the slower the vehicle speed as in Sta 1+900 to 2+000 with a PCI value of 13. (very poor) then obtained a vehicle speed of 14.611 km/hour. The results are inversely proportional to the influence of several factors in the research conditions, namely Sta. 1+300 to 1+400 with a PCI value of 33 (medium) then the vehicle speed is 26,800 km/hour, indicating that the lower the PCI value, the faster the vehicle speed, this is influenced by the driver, obstacles, and vehicle disturbances along the way. Abstract

Increasing population density will affect land use into residential/community housing areas and the emergence of settlements will increase the number of movements generated which can disrupt traffic flow which then reduces the level of road service. This research aims to model the generation of movement in the Kelapa Gading Kalukubula housing area and to determine the amount of traffic generation in the housing at present and in the future because the housing will continue to develop and will analyze the factors that influence the generation of traffic movement. Data collection was carried out by filling out a questionnaire which was distributed and given to residents using a sampling technique (stratified random sampling). To produce a good generation model based on ordinary less squares (OLS), the results of the questionnaire are processed and analyzed using multiple linear regression by SPSS software. Socio-economic characteristics and travel characteristics of the occupants of the house are tabulated as factors influencing the value of trip generation at Kelapa Gading Kalukubula Housing. The best model for generating movement in the Kelapa Gading Kalukubula housing complex is Y = -0.584 + 0.168 X1 + 0.349 X2 + 0.366 X3 + 0.092 X4 + 0.212 X5 with R2 = 0.695, F falue 159.138 where is X1 amount of family member, X2 is amount of worker in family member, X3 is amount of students in family, X4 is amount of car ownership, X5 is amount of motorbike ownership. Based on this model, the total trip generation is 8289 trips/day and averange of trips is 3 trips/day, while the vehicle leaving housing from the Traffic Count is 9462 trips/day and vehicles entering the housing is 10397 trips/day

Abstract

Universitas Tadulako (UNTAD), sebagai kampus terbesar di Sulawesi Tengah dengan luas wilayah mencapai sekitar 200 Ha, menampung lebih dari 44.173 orang mahasiswa serta staf pengajar dan tenaga kependidikan mencapai 2.518 orang dalam waktu bersamaan. Tingginya aktivitas di kampus ini berpotensi mengakibatkan risiko keselamatan berlalu lintas. Oleh karena itu, sebuah penelitian dilakukan untuk menganalisis kondisi keselamatan lalu lintas di lingkungan kampus UNTAD dengan menggunakan metode observasi lapangan secara visual. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sejumlah rambu lalu lintas tidak memenuhi standar karena posisinya yang terhalang pohon, sehingga sulit terbaca dan dipahami. Selain itu, marka jalan hanya terbatas pada marka kejut dan memerlukan perbaikan. Fasilitas trotoar juga perlu diperbaiki agar dapat memberikan perlindungan yang lebih baik bagi pejalan kaki. Meskipun demikian, pintu masuk dan pintu keluar umumnya memenuhi standar jarak pandang kecuali pada pintu keluar di Pascasarjana yang memerlukan perbaikan. Diharapkan, hasil penelitian ini dapat menjadi dasar untuk meningkatkan keselamatan lalu lintas di lingkungan kampus UNTAD melalui perbaikan infrastruktur yang diperlukan.

Abstract

The Sigi Regency Government relocated office areas and built several new offices in the Bora District. This activity was carried out as a result of the natural disaster that occurred in Sigi Regency in 2018. This study aims to determine the impact of office development activities in Bora on traffic performance in the vicinity. The method used is the procedure in the Highway Capacity Manual Indonesian (MKJI) 1997 for roundabouts and unsignalized intersections, and it calculates the effects of drag and generation. The study results show that the traffic performance at the Bora roundabout and the existing conditions on all arms are included in the level of service category A. Likewise, at intersection 2, the existing conditions for all arms are included in the level of service category A. Generation and attraction impacts due to the opening of the office area for five years. The traffic performance at the Bora roundabout will be included in the level of service category A. Likewise, the traffic performance at intersection two is included in the level of service category A. ABSTRAK Pemerintah Kabupaten Sigi merelokasi daerah perkantoran dan membangun beberapa kantor baru di Kecamatan Bora. Kegiatan ini dilakukan sebagai dampak bencana alam yang terjadi di Kabupaten Sigi di tahun 2018. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dampak kegiatan pengembangan perkantoran di Bora terhadap kinerja lalu lintas di sekitarnya. Metode yang digunakan adalah prosedur pada Manual Kapasitas Jalan Indonesia (MKJI) 1997 untuk bundaran dan simpang tak bersinyal serta menghitung dampak tarikan dan bangkitan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pada kinerja lalu lintas di bundaran Bora kondisi eksisting pada semua lengan termasuk dalam kategori tingkat pelayanan A. Demikian halnya pada persimpangan 2, kondisi eksisting untuk semua lengan termasuk dalam kategori tingkat pelayanan A. Dampak bangkitan dan tarikan akibat terbukanya kawasan perkantoran 5 tahun mendatang, kinerja lalu lintas di bundaran Bora termasuk dalam kategori tingkat pelayanan A. Demikian pula kinerja lalu lintas simpang 2, termasuk dalam kategori tingkat pelayanan A.

Abstract

A construction project is a temporary activity with a specific end goal. One of the crucial things in the construction process is work scheduling, this is because it can affect the duration and cost of the project. In the context of scheduling, methods such as Block Charts, S-Curves, Network Diagrams, and Balance Line Diagrams/Linear Scheduling Method (LSM) has been around for a long time, but in its application the scheduling method should be adjusted to the characteristics of the project to avoid losses in development. The LSM method is considered appropriate for work that is repetitive in nature. This research aims at analyzing time scheduling for road projects in the Pantoloan Special Economic Area (SEA), Central Sulawesi, using Linear Scheduling Method (LSM). The purpose of this research is to determine the comparison of scheduling and budget plans between the LSM and project methods existing. Data collection consisting of primary data and secondary data was obtained by direct observation in the field and interviews with related parties. Then a scheduling analysis is carried out with assistance software. From the research results on the scheduling of the Pantoloan KEK Road Section Handling Project in Palu City using the LSM method, the completion time was 47 days. Meanwhile, in the initial planning, a completion time of 60 days was required, so there was a difference of 13 days. The project budget plan using the LSM method obtained IDR 2.321.225.151,01. Meanwhile, the initial project budget plan is Rp. 2,365,900,000.00 so there is a cost difference of Rp. 44.674.849.- By looking at the comparison of time effectiveness, scheduling using the LSM method is more effective and efficient.
