Abstract

This study aims to obtain comprehensive information regarding the evaluation of learning English in the new life order or the new normal era in class X, SMA Hindu (UWP) Astika Dharma at Pempatan Village, Rendang District, Karangasem Regency in Bali related to evaluation planning, evaluation implementation, and evaluation of learning in new life order. The subjects used in this study were teachers and students from school institutions along with evaluation data for English learning. Data were collected by observation, interviews, tests, and documentation, then analyzed descriptively qualitatively using a case study approach. In this study, the results showed that the evaluation plan for learning English in the new life order in the RPP was in accordance with the SK and also adapted to the KD in the syllabus.  Hierarchically the teacher makes learning objectives based on competency standards and emergency curriculum adjustments, determines the time in planning evaluations, and adapts to the characteristics of students based on evaluation principles. The evaluation of English learning in the new life order has been carried out in accordance with the National Competency Standards. The conclusion is that the evaluation of learning English in the new life order in class X SMA Hindu (UWP) Astika Dharma at Pempatan village has been carried out by the teacher in accordance with the Minister of Education and Culture Regulation No 23 of 2020 Regarding Education Evaluation Standard

Abstract

ABSTRAKPelajaran Bahasa Inggris dasar untuk siswa SD di desa Demulih merupakan pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang diselenggarakan pada masa Pandemi Covid-19. Mata pelajaran Bahasa Inggris sejatinya hanya merupakan pelajaran muatan lokal yang dimulai dari kelas 5 SD, yang hanya diberikan di beberapa sekolah. Tujuan dari pengabdian ini adalah untuk mengenalkan bahasa Inggris dasar kepada siswa SD, sebagai upaya membantu mereka untuk menghadapi komunikasi global dan persiapan menghadapi masa transisi ke sekolah menengah. Penyampaian Pelajaran Bahasa Inggris anak menggunakan metode Montessori yang merupakan metode pembelajaran yang memanfaatkan fasilitas dan media di lingkungan sekitar siswa. Siswa SD yang digunakan adalah siswa SD di desa Demulih, Kecamatan Susut, Kabupaten Bangli. Kegiatan PKM dilaksanakan selama 8 kali pertemuan dengan 4 tahap untuk setiap sesinya. Keberhasilan kegiatan ini dapat terlihat dari semangat siswa SD di desa Demulih yang selalu hadir dan selalu bertambah setiap pertemuannya, serta keaktifan mereka dalam berpartisipasi dalam kegiatan pembelajaran. Secara keseluruhan, pendampingan belajar Bahasa Inggris dasar mampu menumbuhkan dan membantu siswa SD dalam belajar Bahasa Inggris dasar di masa pandemi Covid-19. Kata Kunci: bahasa Inggris dasar; montessori; pandemi covid-19.           ABSTRACTBasic English lesson for elementary school students in Demulih village are community service held during the Covid-19 pandemic. English subject are actually only role as local content lessons which is thought from grade 5 elementary school, which are only given in some schools. The main purposes of this community service are to introduce Basic English to elementary students, as an effort to help them face global communication and preparation for the transition to high school period. The way to deliver of English lesson to children uses Montessori method which is a learning method utilizes facilities and media in students’ environment. The elementary school students which is a object in this research were the students in Demulih Village, Susut District, Bangli Regency. This community service activity was done in 8 meetings, 4 stages for each meeting. The success indicators of this activity are the students always present and this increase from time to time in each meeting, as well as their participation in the learning activities. Overall, Basic Engliss Learning Assistance is able to grow and assist elementary students in learning basic English during the Covid-19 Pandemic. Keywords: basic english; montessori; covid-19 pandemic.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kebutuhan guru dan siswa SMK di Bangli terkait materi pembelajaran digital. Ini merupakan bagian dari studi Penelitian dan Pengembangan yang bertujuan untuk mengembangkan materi pembelajaran digital Bahasa Inggris untuk Pariwisata di Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan di Bangli. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan metode analisis deskriptif. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah lembar observasi, angket dan wawancara. Subyek penelitian ini adalah guru dan mahasiswa program studi pariwisata di Kabupaten Bangli. Berdasarkan analisis ditemukan bahwa terdapat 32 kompetensi dasar yang harus dikuasai oleh semua siswa dalam 3 (tiga) tahun studi di SMK, sehingga materi pembelajaran digital harus dikembangkan berdasarkan kompetensi dasar tersebut. Kompetensi dasar tersebut diajarkan di 3 (tiga) program studi, yaitu Traveling, Hoteliers, dan Culinary. Selain itu, pengembangan materi pembelajaran digital harus sesuai dengan kebutuhan guru dan siswa seperti 1) mudah diakses, 2) menarik secara visual, 3) bahasanya mudah dipahami, 4) mungkin dalam dwibahasa (Inggris dan Indonesia). , dan 5) memenuhi kriteria pengembangan materi pembelajaran digital untuk TEFL menurut Tomlinson (1998).

Abstract

This study aims to develop a bilingual student worksheet for the seventh-grade students at SMP N 3 Tembuku. This study utilized the research and development design by Sugiyono (2017). There were 5 stages in the design of this research, including identification of potential problems, literature study and information gathering, product design, design validation, and testing design. The research subjects were teachers and students of seventh grade based on curriculum 2013 at SMP N 3 Tembuku. The development object was a bilingual student worksheet for seventh-grade students at SMP N 3 Tembuku. Validation was done by experts who were lecturers at ITP Markandeya Bali and one of the English teachers at SMP N 3 Tembuku. The level of validation of the student worksheet was analyzed with descriptive statistics using a Likert scale. The design was approved with several revisions, including adjustments in the learning objectives and learning indicators. The results obtained in the developing bilingual student worksheet for seventh-grade students at SMP N 3 Tembuku got excellent results with a mean score of 66.67. The first expert scored 63, the result of the second expert was 64, and the result of third expert was 73 from the interval scale which had been set.

Abstract

ABSTRAKKesadaran akan peran pentingnya pariwisata ini mendorong penggiat wisata dan pemerintah untuk mengembangkan kelompok sadar wisata (Pokdarwis) sebagai Upaya pemberdayaan masyarakat dalam memajukan sector pariwisata. Pokdarwis merupakan kelompok masyarakat yang sadar akan potensi pariwisata dan berperan aktif dalam pengemabngan kepariwisataan di daerah. Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PKM) ini adalah memberikan suatu pelatihan pengelolaan pondok wisata, dengan tujuan memberikan edukasi yang benar mengenai tata cara pengelolaan dan pelayanan yang benar bagi pengelola pondok wisata. Pelatihan ini melibatkan Dosen ITP Markandeya Bali, Dinas Pariwisata, dan Budaya kabupaten Bangli, serta tokoh pariwisata. Pelatihan dilaksanakan selama dua hari dengan materi mencakup dasar-dasar pengelolaan pondok wisata. Hasil dari pelatihan ini menunjukkan bahwa Pokdarwis Kabupaten Bangli memiliki peran penting dalam mengembangkan pariwisata. Pokdarwis di Bangli aktif dalam memeprkenalkan, mempromosikan, dan menjada potensi pariwisata. Dalam pelatihan pengelolaan pondok wisata, oara peserta menunjukkan antusiasme dan ketertarikan untuk meningkatkan pengelolaan dan pelayanan ponok wisata yang mereka Kelola. Pelatihan ini menjadi sarana komunikasi dan kerjasama antara pengelola pondok wisata di kabupaten Bangli. Pelatihan ini direkomendasikan untuk diadakan secara rutin setiap tahunnya dengan memeprhatikan peningkatan standar pengelolaan dan pelayanan. Kata kunci: pondok wisata; pengelolaan; pelayanan; pokdarwis. ABSTRACTAwareness of the important role of tourism has prompted tourism enthusiasts and the government to develop Kelompok Sadar Wisata (Pokdarwis) as an effort to empower the community in advancing the tourism sector. Pokdarwis is a community group that is aware of the tourism potential and actively participates in the development of tourism in the region. This Community Engagement (PKM) program aims to provide training on the management of homestays, with the purpose of providing proper education on the management and proper service procedures for homestay operators. The training involves ITP Markandeya Bali lecturers, the Department of Tourism and Culture of Bangli Regency, and tourism figures. The training is conducted for two days and covers the basics of homestay management. The results of this training indicate that Pokdarwis of Bangli Regency plays a crucial role in tourism development. Pokdarwis in Bangli is actively involved in introducing, promoting, and preserving tourism potential. During the homestay management training, the participants showed enthusiasm and interest in improving the management and services of the homestays they operate. The training serves as a means of communication and collaboration among homestay operators in Bangli Regency. It is recommended to conduct this training regularly every year, taking into account the improvement of management and service standards Keywords: homestay; management; service; pokdarwis.
