Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the Indonesian forest honeybee conservation e-module on students' environmental literacy skills in natural resource management courses. This study uses a one-group pretest and posttest design. The sample in this study was 22 students of natural resource management class who were selected using the purposive sampling technique. The learning was carried out 5 times, starting with the pretest and ending with the posttest. The data collection instrument used a multiple-choice test of as many as 29 questions which were conducted online using google form. Data analysis using N-Gain Score. The results showed that the gain-score was 0.8. So, can be concluded that the effectiveness of the Indonesian forest honeybee conservation e-module is quite high in improving students' environmental literacy skills, especially in the aspects of ecological knowledge, conservation knowledge, the attitude in presenting data and information, scientific behavior (having curiosity and caring for the environment), and wise behavior and responsible.

Abstract

This study aims to assess the depth of culture and Suku Togutil child's study habits. The method use disqualitative type of ethnography. The research shows, children's study habits Suku Togutil tendstolag because of cultural habits learned they were not familiar, rather they learn in real life. It found that: (1) social and cultural life of society the majority has beenlost, (2) child's study habits Suku Togutil adjusted to the culture, the environment and people's beliefs, (3) the lack of attention of parents, communities, schools, and cultural influence study habits Suku Togutil children, and (4) to meet the need children, parents as well as the motivation of facilities and infrastructure facilities can enhance children's learning habits in Dusun Titipa.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji lebih mendalam budaya serta kebiasaan belajar anak suku Togutil. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif jenis etnografi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan, kebiasaaan belajar anak suku Togutil cenderung tertinggal karena budaya kebiasaan belajar mereka yang belum terbiasa, justru mereka belajar pada kehidupan yang real. Ditemukan bahwa (1) kehidupan sosial budaya masyarakat sebagian telah hilang, (2) kebiasaan belajar anak suku Togutil disesuaikan dengan kondisi budaya, lingkungan serta keyakinan masyarakat, (3) kurangnya perhatian orangtua, lingkungan masyarakat, sekolah, dan budaya memengaruhi kebiasaan belajar anak Suku Togutil, dan (4) memenuhi kebutuhan anak, motivasi orangtua serta fasilitas sarana dan prasarana dapat meningkatkan kebiasaan belajar anak di dusun Titipa.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui implementasi model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning pada siswa dan mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar siswa dengan menggunakan model Problem Based Learning. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) yang terdiri dari dua siklus. Penelitian dilaksanakan di SD Inpres Tabanalou di kelas V yang berjumlah 16 siswa yang terdiri dari 13 perempuan dan 3 laki-laki. Teknik pengumpulan data yaitu observasi, dokumentasi dan tes. Analisis data menggunakan analisis kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa terdapat peningkatan hasil belajar siswa yang dibuktikan dengan adanya peningkatan perolehan hasil belajar. Pada siklus I terdapat 6 siswa yang mencapai nilai KKM dengan persentase 37,5 % dan 10 siswa yang belum mencapai nilai KKM dengan persentase 62,5 %, aktivitas guru 71,11% dan aktivitas siswa 69,41%. Kemudian pada siklus II mengalami peningkatan dimana terdapat 14 siswa yang mencapai nilai KKM dengan jumlah persentase 87, 5% dan 2 siswa yang belum mencapai nilai KKM dengan jumlah persentase 12,4 %, aktivitas guru meningkat menjadi 90% dan aktivitas siswa 89,41%. Dengan ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa implementasi model Problem Based Learning dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada tema 8 subtema 1 manusia dan lingkungan

Abstract

This study aims to determine the application of the Explicit Instruction learning model to fourth gradestudents at SD Negeri Loleo and to determine the increase in student learning outcomes in grade IV SDNegeri Loleo. This research method is Classroom Action Research (CAR) conducted at SD NegeriLoleo in odd semesters. The subjects of this research were fourth grade students at SD Negeri Loleo,totaling 26 students. The results showed that in the learning outcomes of fourth grade students at SDNegeri Loleo in understanding the material properties of sound and its relation to the sense of hearing,the results of the first cycle test of students who did not complete were 17 students with a percentage of65.4% and there were 9 students who completed the percentage 34.6%. In the second cycle test, therewere 4 students who did not complete with a percentage of 15.4% and 22 students who passed with apercentage of 84.6%. Thus, it can be concluded that using the Explicit Instruction learning model canimprove the learning outcomes of fourth grade students at SD Negeri Loleo in understanding thematerial properties of sound and its relation to the senses of the listener

Abstract

The issue of increasing waste quantities, which are directly proportional to the human population in a region, has become a significant concern within the context of environmental sustainability. Urban areas, being centers of education and economy, often face challenges in managing the daily volume of waste generated. The accumulation of such waste has adverse impacts on the environmental quality, including water, soil, and air. One proposed solution to address this problem is to enhance the understanding of waste management from an early age to adulthood. This engagement focuses on providing elementary school students with an understanding of smart waste management through interactive and play-based approaches. The methods employed in this engagement include lectures, demonstrations, and explorations. The engagement involves 30 students from elementary schools, selected using a purposive sampling technique. The findings demonstrate that the interactive and play-based approach effectively enhances students' understanding and environmental awareness. Furthermore, the students are able to implement initial steps in waste management, such as segregating organic and inorganic waste. The successful implementation of this engagement has yielded positive outcomes in increasing students' awareness and skills in waste management. The interactive and play-based approach has proven to be effective in instilling a meaningful understanding of responsible and sustainable waste management. It is hoped that activities of this nature can be continually enhanced and expanded in an effort to create a community that is more environmentally conscious.

Abstract

The implementation of online learning was implemented suddenly due to the Covid-19 pandemic that hit in 2019, online learning policies are a temporary solution to stop the spread of Covid-19. However, this policy has had a big impact on the world of education, various problems arise from the factor of implementing the policy. This study aims to examine the obstacles to the implementation of online learning experienced by FKIP students, Unkhair. The method used in this study is a descriptive quantitative approach. Data collection through surveys. The instrument used is an electronic questionnaire via google form. The questionnaire used is a closed questionnaire and an open questionnaire. The correspondents of this study were FKIP Unkhair students as many as 150 correspondents who were representatives of 7 study programs. Based on the results of the research analysis, it can be concluded that there are 4 points of obstacles faced by FKIP students during online learning, namely limited internet quota, inadequate internet network, low understanding of IT and limited infrastructure. However, these obstacles can be anticipated through serious online learning designs by considering the convenience of learning, the readiness factors of lecturers and students and the availability of supporting facilities. In conclusion, there are 4 obstacles to implementing online learning policies. To overcome them, the involvement of all parties is required to design high-quality online learning.

Abstract

Pendidikan bertujuan untuk mencerdaskan kehidupan bangsa, sebagaimana diamanatkan dalam UU No. 20 Tahun 2003 tentang Sistem Pendidikan Nasional. Dalam mencapai tujuan tersebut, guru dituntut untuk mengintegrasikan media dan teknologi dalam pembelajaran, terutama pada era digital 4.0 yang menekankan pemanfaatan teknologi informasi. Salah satu pendekatan inovatif yang dapat mendukung pembelajaran adalah e-learning, yang mengintegrasikan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi untuk menciptakan proses belajar yang menarik, interaktif, dan terstruktur. Namun, survei menunjukkan rendahnya tingkat pemahaman guru terkait implementasi e-learning, seperti yang ditemukan di SDN 57 Kota Ternate, Maluku Utara, meskipun sarana pendukung telah tersedia. Untuk menjawab permasalahan tersebut, dirancang program pelatihan berbasis e-learning menggunakan platform Sevima Edlink. Platform ini dipilih karena kemudahan penggunaannya yang menyerupai media sosial, sehingga menarik minat guru dan mempermudah proses pembelajaran. Pelatihan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan guru dalam memanfaatkan Sevima Edlink sebagai media pembelajaran, serta mendukung kolaborasi antara guru, siswa, dan orang tua. Pelaksanaan program dilakukan pada 8 Juni 2024 di SDN 57 Kota Ternate dengan metode penyampaian materi, pendampingan praktik, pemberian panduan, dan monitoring daring. Hasil yang diharapkan adalah peningkatan kompetensi guru dalam mengintegrasikan teknologi dalam pembelajaran, yang pada akhirnya akan berdampak pada kualitas pendidikan di SDN 57 Kota Ternate. Program ini memberikan model yang dapat direplikasi untuk meningkatkan kemampuan guru dalam memanfaatkan e-learning di sekolah.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the validity and practicality of Indonesian mammal teaching materials based on encyclopaedia for Year IV elementary school students. It is a research and development (RD) study employing the ADDIE model, though it is limited to the development phase. The subjects of research include content experts, language experts, and learning experts. Data collection techniques used in this study are interviews and questionnaires. This research resulted in a product consisting of educational materials about Indonesian mammals based on an encyclopedia. Based on validation conducted by expert lecturers in the subject matter, language experts, and teachers as learning experts, the scores received were 93.33% from the subject matter expert, 80% from the language expert, and 94.66% for the practicality of the educational materials by teachers. The educational materials about Indonesian mammals based on an encyclopedia can be categorised as highly valid and very practical, indicating that the product is suitable for trial testing with students.
