Abstrak: Kurikulum 2013 menggunakan pendekatan saintifik (scientific approach) dalam prosespembelajaran pada semua mata pelajaran termasuk mata pelajaran Biologi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa melalui penerapan pembelajaran berpendekatan saintifik menggunakan model Sains Tekonoogi Masyarakat (STM). Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilakukan pada kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Pemangkat. Penelitian dilaksanakan dalam 2 siklus, siklus I materi pencemaran lingkungan, sedangkan siklus II materi limbah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terjadi peningkatan hasil belajar siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Pemangkat pada ranah sikap, pengetahuan, dan keterampilan. Hasil belajar sikap peduli lingkungan berdasarkan nilai rata-rata tes siklus I sebesar 73,4 dan siklus II sebesar 84,6, hasil belajar kognitif berdasarkan nilai rata-rata tes siklus I sebesar 67,7 dan siklus II sebesar 83,3, serta hasil tes keterampilan proses sains berdasarkan nilai rata-rata tes siklus I sebesar 80,0 dan siklus II sebesar 82,2.

Ekosistem Â hutan Â mangroveÂ berfungsi Â sebagai Â perlindungan Â pantai Â secaraÂ alami untuk mengurnagi resiko terhadap bahaya abrasi. Kota Ternate adalah sala satu kota pesisir yang memiliki hutan mangrove dengan luas 14,65 Ha namun luas kawasan mangrove tersebut telah mengalami kerusakan disebabkan oleh tebang habis, konversi menjadi lahan pertanian, perikanan, pemukiman, Â pembuangan sampah padat dan cair, pencemaran tumpahan minyak, dan Â reklamasi Â pantai, Â Pendekatan Â konservasi Â yangÂ dilakukan Â untuk Â memulihkan Â serta menjaga dan melindungi hutan mangrove di Kota Ternate adalah dengan pendekatan pendidikan konservasi di sekolah formal melalui pengembangan kurikulum.

Â The development of learning tools for Environmental Education to develop students environmental literacy skills are indispensable. Methods of research and development using 4-D Thiagarajan (Define, Design, Develop and Disseminate). The result of the development of the device include syllabi, lesson plans, modules, and assessment instruments tested in class IV A Lesson Study by performing well. The trial results actually (validation testing) with pre-experiment (class IV B) can improve the literacy skills of students include aspects of environmental knowledge, attitudes, and skills and habituation. The trial results actually (class IV B) obtained N-Score Gain knowledge and attitude tests of 0.64 (medium), and N-Gain Score of the attitude scale questionnaire 0.67 (moderate). While aspects of the students skills include practical activities seed, move into the growing medium, and the practice of making compost with N-Gain Score of 0.54 (medium) and 0.69 (moderate). Activity habituation maintain plants and credible form of checks compost with N-Gain Score of 0.48 (moderate). The results of research and development is expected to be utilized by the school and can be distributed to other schools.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pengetahuan dan sikap peduli lingkungan santri terkait program Kawasan Rumah Pangan Lestari (KRPL). Penelitian dilakukan bulan November 2016 pada empat pesatren di kecamatan Gading Kabupaten probolinggo yaitu Miftahul Jannah, Miftahul Hasan, Raudatul Hasaniyah dan Mambaul Ulum. Metode yang digunakan adalah survey dengan teknik penyebaran angket kepada 129 santri. Dari hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengetahuan lingkungan santri terkait KRPL sebesar 3,3%, dan sikap peduli lingkungan santri sebesar 28,75% terhadappelestarian lingkungan terkait KRPL ini. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah mayoritas santri memilikiÂ pengetahuan dan sikap peduli lingkungan yang buruk terkait KRPL sehingga perlu ditingkatkanÂ melalui pengembangan buku petunjuk teknis, sosialisasi dan pelatihan dengan menerapkan program KRPL di pondok pesantren Miftahul Jannah.Â This research aims at describing the knowledge and theÂ caring attitude of boarding school students towards their environment due to Sustainable Reseve Food Graden Program. This paper is conducted onÂ nopember 2016 in 4 boarding school at DistrictGading Probolinggo. The metode used in this researchÂ is survey by distributing the questionnaire to 129 students. The result of the study showedÂ that the knowledge of the students toward their environment is amount 3,3% and their caring attitudetoward the environement is amount 28,75% due to KRPL. The conclusion of the researchÂ indicates that theÂ most of the students in the bording school acquire less knowledge and caring attitude toward KRPL. Therefore it will be needed to conducta socialisation in order to improve students knowledge and caring attitude by implementing KRPL.Â

Scientific skills literacy is one of the skills that students need to have to support the learning process. This study aims to explain the literacy skills of the students through project experience with the help of local potential-based teaching materials. This research is a quantitative study and it used quasi-experimental design, pre-and posttest design. ANCOVA analysis was used as the data analysis technique at a significant level of 5% (p < 0.5). Analysis prerequisite tests included the Kolmogorov-Smirnov test for normality test and homogeneity of variance with Levene's-Test. All data testing was done using the SPSS version 23.0 for Windows. The results of the study show that the experience of project activities has a significant effect on the scientific literacy skills in three competencies. These competencies are to explain scientific phenomena, evaluate and design scientific investigations and interpret scientific evidence and data. Competence in evaluating and designing scientific investigations has the greatest significance compared to the other two competencies.

Efforts to build pro-environment behavior have been strengthened by the Ministry of Environment and Forestry through Adiwiyata green school program. This current study aimed at describing the patterns of building pro-environmental behavior among school community of Adiwiyata green school in Malang City. This study was conducted by means of descriptive design. The data were collected using in-depth interview, directed observation, and documentation as well as triangulation. The data were analyzed descriptively by means of content analysis. Hereafter, this study has shown that SMAN 7 Malang was and is running a program of pro-environmental behavior building offered to all school community, to enhance the knowledge, to fossilize the behavior, and to implement pro-environmental behavior, with the concrete support from the school management and teachers. The program was run sustainably and supported by education authorities along with pro-environmental communities. To sum up, the patterns of building pro-environmental behavior involved all the school community, to cover such aspects as knowledge enhancement, behavior fossilizing, and pro-environmental behavior reinforcement through a sustainable collaboration with pro-environmental communities. Therefore, it is suggested that Adiwiyata green school keep intensifying its commitment and be consistent in building sustainable pro-environmental behavior to amplify a long-term memory of its school community.

Science Process Skills (SPS) are the essential abilities which need to be mastered in learning biology to strengthen students? learning outcomes. The aim of this study was to analyze the relationship between SPS and biology Cognitive Learning Outcome (CLO) of senior high school students. The sample was 100 tenth graders in Malang. The correlational study used two test types as the instrument (i.e. essay and multiple choice). The essay instrument consisted of 10 items which were developed from SPS aspects (basic and integrated skills). Meanwhile, the biology CLO was measured using multiple choice test which consisted of 30 items. The collected data were analyzed using simple linear regression analysis. The results showed that the highest students? SPS aspect was observing (78.84%), while the lowest was predicting aspect (27.30%). In addition, the highest achievement of students? biology CLO was C1 (94.23%), while the lowest was C6 (33.46%). The regression analysis showed that there was a significant correlation between students? SPS and biology CLO, where the equation was Y = 27.988 + 0.311X. Therefore, it is crucial to consider SPS to be integrated into a learning activity by using various learning models that empowering these skills to improve students? biology CLO.

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the Indonesian forest honeybee conservation e-module on students' environmental literacy skills in natural resource management courses. This study uses a one-group pretest and posttest design. The sample in this study was 22 students of natural resource management class who were selected using the purposive sampling technique. The learning was carried out 5 times, starting with the pretest and ending with the posttest. The data collection instrument used a multiple-choice test of as many as 29 questions which were conducted online using google form. Data analysis using N-Gain Score. The results showed that the gain-score was 0.8. So, can be concluded that the effectiveness of the Indonesian forest honeybee conservation e-module is quite high in improving students' environmental literacy skills, especially in the aspects of ecological knowledge, conservation knowledge, the attitude in presenting data and information, scientific behavior (having curiosity and caring for the environment), and wise behavior and responsible.

This research aimed to investigate the effect of project-based learning (PjBL), predict-observe-explain (POE), and predict-observe-explain based project (POEP) on metacognitive awareness and cognitive learning outcomes in biology learning. The research used a pretest-posttest non-equivalent control group design. The experiment was conducted from August to December 2020. The metacognitive awareness questionnaire was applied to measure students’ metacognitive awareness. Besides, an essay test was used to assess cognitive learning outcomes. Data collection in this study was carried out using Google Form, Google Classroom, Google Meet, and WhatsApp. Data analysis using statistical product and service solutions (SPSS) version 23 software. The analysis of covariance (ANCOVA) results analysis showed that PjBL, POE, and POEP affected students’ metacognitive awareness and cognitive learning outcomes in biology learning with a value of p<0.005. The least significant different (LSD) result was significantly different in improving students’ metacognitive awareness and cognitive learning outcomes. The POEP class gained the highest posttest score. Therefore, POEP could be applicable to improve students’ metacognitive awareness and cognitive learning outcomes in Biology learning.

Kelurahan Madyopuro merupakan salah satu kelurahan di Kecamatan Kedungkandang Kota Malang letaknya sangat strategis dengan sumber potensi yang dimiliki yaitu: Central Business (Pusat Perdagangan), sebagai kota mahasiswa, produksi dari hasil kreatifitas home industri berupa kue basah dan makanan ringan lainnya dan usia produktif mendominasi populasi, ketersediaan tenaga kerja yang besar. Salah satu wilayah yang berdekatan dengan pusat kegiatan masyarakat adalah wilayah Rukun Warga (RW) 15. Berdasarkan observasi dan analisis situasi dapat disampaikan bahwa rata-rata per KK di RW 15 di Kelurahan Madyopuro ini setiap hari menghasilkan tidak kurang dari 1kg sampah organik dan lebih dari 1kg sampah anorganik. Dengan demikian, dari RW 15 ini per hari tidak kurang dari 125kg sampah organik dan 185kg sampah anorganik per hari. Dengan demikian perlu ada usaha untuk mengelola sampah ini agar lebih berguna terutama untuk menjadikan kampong sehat. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa kehadiran yang tinggi dari peserta selama kegiatan berlangsung dan tingkat pemahaman yang tinggi pula selama proses pelatihan dan pendampingan mengacu pada survey yang dilakukan setelah kegiatan berlangsung. Saran untuk lanjutan kegiatan pelatihan PENGELOLAAN SAMPAH DOMESTIK MENUJU KAMPUNG SEHAT Di RW 15 KELURAHAN MADYOPURO KOTA MALANG sebagai upaya untuk menuju kampung sehat adalah penambahan jumlah komposter di setiap RT (minimal setiap RT ada 10 – 15 komposter sehingga mampu mengolah kompos secara menyeluruh produk rumah tangga (per RT rata-rata memiliki jumlah KK 20 hingga 30 KK), pendampingan composting hingga produktif bahkan sampai strategi pengemasan dan pemasaran dan inisiasi Bank Sampah sebagai dampak dari pemilahan limbah domestic yang sudah diolah dengan composting ini
