Abstract

Asuransi pertanian atau pada penelitian ini disebut dengan Asuransi Usahatani Padi (AUTP) merupakan salahsatu bentuk perlindungan finansial yang dirancang khusus untuk melindungi petani serta pemilik tanah pertanian dari risiko-risiko yang terkait dengan kegiatan pertanian padi, tujuan penelitian ini adalah melihat pengaruh pemanfaatan aplikasi WhatsApp terhadap minta petani mengikuti asuransi pertanian. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif, denga 45 orang petani, data di analisa dengan Softwere SPSS versi 25. Hasil penelitian didapatkan pengaruh siginifikan antara pengaruh pemanfatan media WhatsApp dengan minta petani mengikuti asuransi pertanian dilahan rawa pasang surut dengan nilai keoefesien sebesar 0,458. Pada analisa regresi linear 0,461, oleh karena koefesien regresi positif dapat disimpulkam bahwa pemanfaatan media WhatsApp berpengaruh positif terhadap minta petani mengikuti asuransi pertanian di lahan rawa pasang surut

Abstract

Department of Public Housing, Residential Areas and the Environment (DPRKPLH) Banjar Regency (2022) the amount of waste entering final disposal sites reached 290 tons per day, an increase of 60 tons compared to the previous year. The Sekumpul Waste Bank in Banjar Regency actively carries out environmental campaigns via social media Instagram about Reuse, Reduce and Recycle. The aim of this research is to analyze new media-based environmental campaigns for community economic empowerment at the Sekumpul waste bank. The method used in this research is a descriptive qualitative approach. Data collection techniques were interviews, literature studies and documentation with a total of 2 informants. The data analysis technique uses Manual Data Analysis Procedure (MDAP), namely daily notes, transcripts, coding, categories, themes and memos. The results show that the Sekumpul Waste Bank campaigns for waste management through Instagram posts, holding events and providing material on local radio broadcasts. It is hoped that this environmental campaign can increase community participation in managing waste wisely and with economic value.

Abstract

This research discusses the influence of communication within the farmer's family on farmers' interest in participating, with the aim of finding out whether communication within the family has on the interest of tidal swamp farmers in participating in agricultural insurance (rice farming insurance / AUTP) with the concept Revised Family Communication Pattern Theory - RFCPT. The research method used is quantitative statistics with a questionnaire as the research instrument, and data collection uses the Simple Random Sampling technique. The population in this study were 476 tidal swamp land farmers in Cerbon subdistrict, Barito Kuala Regency who took part in Agricultural Insurance and a sample of 86 respondents was obtained which was determined using the Slovin formula. Data analysis in this study used simple linear regression analysis with research results showing that there was a strong positive influence of 0.752 between communication within farming families on interest in agricultural insurance (rice farming insurance / AUTP). Hypothesis testing was carried out by analyzing the results of the t test (t-test) between communication variables in farming families and interest variables in participating in agricultural insurance (rice farming insurance / AUTP), statistical calculations using the help of the SPSS version 29.0 application. The results obtained a significance value (Sig.) of 0.000, which means less than 0.05 (0.000 < 0.05), and based on the t value, a value of 10.988 was obtained, from which it can be seen that it is greater than 1.985 (10.878 > 1.985), so it can be concluded that H0 rejected, and Ha accepted. So, the results of the research show that communication within farming families influences the interest of tidal swamp farmers in participating in agricultural insurance (Asuransi Usahatani Padi / AUTP).

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the patterns of silencing and the impacts of revenge porn, as well as why victims of revenge porn choose to remain silent. This research employs a qualitative approach with a phenomenological design, conducted in Banjarmasin City. Data collection techniques included interviews, observation, and documentation. Data analysis followed Moustakas' phenomenological analysis technique, consisting of epoche, phenomenological reduction, imaginative variation, and synthesis of meanings. The subjects of this study comprised five individuals selected through purposive sampling based on several criteria: female, aged 18–25 years, having experienced revenge porn, and residing in Banjarmasin City. The findings reveal that the silencing experiences of revenge porn victims involve threats, blackmail, and the dissemination of pornographic content. Additionally, the impacts felt by victims include trauma and depression. The reasons victims choose to remain silent are fear of disclosing their experiences and low self-esteem. Social support for victims emerges as a crucial factor in helping them recover from distress.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the communication strategy of the agricultural insurance program in the South Kalimantan region to create superior and independent farmers. This communication strategy can contribute to existing development programs in the South Kalimantan region. This research used qualitative methods with SWOT and TOWS analysis techniques. Data collection techniques were open interviews, focus group discussions (FGD), and field observations (research locations and district level). The results of the study showed that agricultural insurance in the South Kalimantan region had obstacles that occurred in the field, many farmers needed help understanding and were not interested in participating in this rice farming insurance. First, the analysis of the agricultural insurance communication strategy in the SWOT analysis in the South Kalimantan region was to increase the quality capacity of government human resources in the field by providing socialization technical training and involving opinion leaders, groups, and village governments in disseminating information. Second, the communication strategy in the TOWS analysis was to optimize the existing social capital in the community, form an information centers at the village level, add variety and diversity in the methods of conveying information by extension workers and Jasindo officers and provide a variety of media sources of information, especially social media, and internet. The agricultural insurance communication strategis important to policymakers in implementing development programs.

Abstract

Environmental campaigns are an effort to preserve the environment through various media. The aim of this research is to determine the environmental campaign on the Instagram account @zerowaste.id in educating the public. The method used in this research is interpretive qualitative. Data collection techniques use literature studies and documentation. Data analysis uses qualitative content analysis by interpreting @zerowaste.id account posts that are relevant to environmental campaigns. The research findings show that the Instagram account @zerowaste.id educates Instagram followers through its creative content in the form of how to make minimal waste hampers, alternative hair care products, zero waste healthy provisions, the benefits of compost for plants, facts about e-waste and zero challage. This environmental campaign aims to provide information to followers to reduce waste, apart from that, it also educates and persuades followers to use environmentally friendly products in their daily lives.
