Abstract

People who care about the environment always reject the use of peat land for large-scale plantation areas, because this can cause an increase in carbon gas and can even cause damage to peat land in Rimbo Panjang Village, Tambang District, Kampar Regency. that there was an event of a land fire which almost hit the residential area in Rimbo Panjang village, Kec. Kampar District Mine on February 24, 2015. That there are complaints from the community in Rimbo Panjang village, Kec. Kampar Regency Mine about environmental conditions or smog. The implementation of Eco-Technology can protect the environment of peatlands to maintain sustainability and avoid fire from peatlands and regulate groundwater management on peatlands.

Abstract

The potential of the agricultural sector in terms of cassava in Tampan District, Pekanbaru City with a total potential of 11,210 tonnes of cassava (based on BPS data, 2019). This enormous potential has led to the growth of SMEs for community groups to take advantage of these opportunities in the business of producing cassava-based food processing. Furthermore, this potential is an opportunity for local governments to create a market or regional superior product as well as an attraction for citizens from outside the region to come to Tampan District because it can form an agro-industry in the field of cassava chips. The attraction for visitors to stop by at Tampan District is also supported by geographical aspects, transportation that is easily accessible to everyone. Through this community service activity, the fostered village scheme is very appropriate to be applied in Tampan District because it can guide UKM groups so that at the end of the service activities of this guided village scheme will form superior regional products that are competitive through the application of environmentally friendly biomass energy-based drying technology, and the application of IT-based management system so that at the end of the activity it will produce an Agro-Industry target village with regional superior products that are competitive.

Abstract

The potential of agro-industry made from agricultural products, in this case cassava, in Tambang District, Kampar Regency is very much evidenced by the emergence of SMEs engaged in agro-industry. This enormous potential has led to the growth of SMEs for community groups to take advantage of these opportunities in the Gaplek production business. Furthermore, this potential is an opportunity for the growth of Business Groups in the area. The Gaplek Maju Bersama Business Group consists of 20 farmers. This Gaplek business can increase the income of farmers, because cassava if sold in the market costs only Rp. 350 per kg, whereas if it is in the form of Gaplek it can reach a price of Rp. 2000/Kg. The current condition of Gaplek production is very little because there is no technology for making Gaplek, so that production only reaches 300 kg to 400 kg per day, this too depends on the weather. The purpose of this activity is to create a mini factory for making Gaplek with a production capacity of 1 ton/day by applying long-distance system technology based on biomass energy, which is very well applied in the new normal conditions of Covid 19. The method used in this activity is to design industrial control system technology. The long distance applied in the manufacture of the Gaplek mini factory will reduce contact time between workers, this is in accordance with new normal conditions. The results obtained from this activity are in the form of technological tools for the manufacture of mini cassava factories that have been implemented in Maju Bersama UKM in Tambang District, Kampar Regency, Riau Province, and have been proven to increase the efficiency of drying time only takes 3 to 5 hours depending on the size of the raw material. cassava to be dried.

Abstract

Learning is still centered on the teacher with the habit of the lecture method and students only accept what the teacher says so that students do not absorb the full learning. To overcome this, student-centered learning is needed which can be overcome by using learning media, one of which is e-modules. The purpose of this research was to produce an e-module of guided inquiry learning assisted by a virtual lab on valid and practical straight motion dynamics material. This type of research uses research and development (R&D) with the ADDIE development model which is limited to practicality at the development step. The developed e-module is divided into 3 meetings. Data were collected through a validation assessment sheet consisting of material, media, and pedagogic aspects which were validated by 3 experts. In addition, e-module practicality data consisting of ease of use, efficiency, language, and benefits use a practicality assessment sheet. The data obtained were analyzed descriptively. The validation results show that the e-module obtained an average of 3.63 with a valid category, while the results of the practicality test by the teacher's response got an average of 3.73 in the very high category and the average student response results in 3.66 in the very high category. It can be concluded that the guided inquiry learning e-module assisted by a virtual lab on linear motion dynamics material is valid and practical, so it is expected to help high school students in learning physics.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas ekstrak biji mahoni sebagai bahan pengawet kayu sengon terhadap serangan rayap tanah dan mengetahui konsentrasi terbaik ekstrak biji mahoni sebagai bahan pengawet kayu sengon terhadap serangan rayap tanah. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan acak lengkap (RAL) non faktorial yang terdiri dari 5 perlakuan dan 10 ulangan. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Labaoratorium Jurusan Kehutanan Fakultas Pertanian dan Laboratorium Teknologi Bahan Alam Jurusan Teknik Kimia Fakultas Teknik Universitas Riau pada Bulan Oktober 2021-Januari 2022. Data hasil penelitian dianalisis menggunakan statistik dengan bantuan analisis of variance (ANOVA) dan apabila hasilnya berbeda nyata pengujian dilanjutkan dengan uji duncun’s new multiple range test (DNMRT) pada taraf 5%. Nilai kadar air kayu sengon yang diperoleh pada penelitian ini berkisar antara 25.71-24.05%, untuk retensi bahan pengawet didapatkan nilai yaitu 3.49-5.90% g/cm3, kehilangan berat umpan didapatkan nilai yaitu 24.7-4.19% dan untuk mortalitas didapatkan nilai yaitu 19.85-41.60%.

Abstract

This study analyzes students initial perceptions of their collaboration and scientific communication skills. This method of research was descriptive research with a qualitative and quantitative approach. The subjects of this study were students of class XI MIPA.1 MAN 1 Siak in the 2022/2023 academic year. The data collection technique used in this study was a questionnaire via Google Forms. Data on students collaboration and scientific communication skills perceptions were analyzed using descriptive statistics. The results of data analysis for indicators of collaboration skills are 2.13 in the low category, and scientific communication skills indicators were 1.92 in the low category. From the results of the data analysis, it can be concluded that students initial perceptions of their collaboration and scientific communication skills are in a low category. It is because of students not being used to learning in groups in class due to the online learning process for approximately two years in a row. The lack of training in student collaboration skills results in low scientific communication skills. That is because the essential subjects taught in the emergency curriculum during the pandemic barely touched the real of scientific communication skills.

Abstract

Pemanfaatan ICT merupakan salah satu solusi untuk mengahadapi tantangan pembelajaran saat ini khususnya pembelajaran daring. Guru-guru SMP Sederajat di Bengkalis banyak yang mengalami kesulitan dalam merancang dan menggunakan menggunakan media salah satunya aplikasi pendukung pembelajaran dalam membuat instrumen untuk pembelajaran disekolah, sehingga masih banyak guru yang hanya melakukan kegiatan pembelajaran secara monoton, menyampaikan materi dan memberi tugas. Kemampuan guru-guru dalam mengelola aplikasi penunjang pembelajaran sangat diperlukan untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut. Berdasarkan fakta tersebut, Program Studi Pendidikan Fisika FKIP Universitas Riau melakukan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat yang sasarannya adalah guru-guru SMP Se-Kabupaten Bengkalis dalam mengoptimalisasikan pemanfaatan Aplikasi pembuat intrument tes interaktif. Persiapan dan pelaksanaan kegiatan ini dilakukan pada bulan Juli – Oktober 2021. Instrumen tes yang dilatih adalah kahoot, educandy, dan quizizz. Pemilihan instrumen ini didasarkan pada kelebihan dan kekurangan masing-masing instrumen. Hasil pelatihan instrumen tes yang interaktif menggunakan aplikasi pada tingkat SMP Se-Kabupaten Bengkalis yang telah dilaksanakan melalui zoom meeting diperoleh bahwa peserta mengikuti pelatihan ini dengan baik, antusias, memberikan respon positif, lebih termotivasi untuk melaksanakannya dan sangat mengharapkan dapat dilaksanakan secara kontinu. Peserta dapat menggunakan Aplikasi dalam membuat instrument tes yang interaktif tersebut dan sangat menambah wawasan serta keterampilan guru dalam membuat instrument tes interaktif.
