Abstract

Mawar adalah salah satu tanaman bunga hias yang sering dijumpai. Wanita disimbolkan seperti bunga mawar, karena pada umumnya bunga mawar memiliki warna yang indah dan baunya yang harum, yang identik dengan seorang wanita, tetapi keindahan yang sempurna yang bisa disimbolkan seperti mawar apabila seseorang memiliki kepribadian baik, berahklaq mulia dan bukan hanya parasnya yang cantik. Fenomena yang terjadi pada kehidupan wanita akibat pergaulan yang bebas dan budaya barat yang marak berkembang di budaya timur mengakibatkan banyaknya gejolak sosial yang terjadi pada wanita, dari sebagian besar wanita-wanita sekarang, masih ada sebagian kecil yang patuh dan taat pada orang tua juga aturan adat dan agama, walaupun sangat sulit dijumpai. Tujuan karya akhir ini adalah untuk memvisualisasikan bunga mawar sebagai simbol wanita dalam karya seni lukis dengan aliran surrealis.

Abstract

The researchers believe that an inventory of gymnosperm plants is necessary to determine the diversity of gymnosperms present in the Vetpur complex. The purpose of this research is to find out information on plants that are scattered in the complex area for further study and as a source of information for researchers and the public in studying plants and their uses. Especially in the classification, research and utilization of these plants. This research was conducted in the Vetpur complex area of Medan using research/direct observation methods on land with grassland ecosystems, observing the diversity of plant seeds that grow around the land. Any seed plants found were recorded and then tested. Identification of plants is carried out by observing the morphological characters of plants which include the characteristics of each class and family and genus in the Phanerogamae plant classification. Contains leaves, stems and flowers and fruits. Then we gather information to create family descriptions. Based on research results obtained from observations, there are 5 types of Gymnospermae plants namely Casuarina equisetifolia, Gnetum gnemon, Lemon cypress, Thuja orientalis, and Cycas rumphii.

Abstract

The development of STEM-based LKPD is manifested in high school learning media which cannot help improve the critical thinking skills of class X students. Students' low critical thinking ability impacts learning outcomes that could be more optimal. The purpose of this research is to develop STEM-based worksheets to improve critical thinking skills that are feasible, practical and effective. 4D development research model (define, design, develop, disseminate). Collecting data with the method of observation, interviews and questionnaires. The instrument used in collecting data is a questionnaire sheet. Data analysis techniques with quantitative and qualitative analysis. The test subjects were 22 graders. Quantitative data analysis is used to see the validity, practicality and effectiveness of LKPD. Qualitative analysis is used to see suggestions, revisions and observation results. The results of the LKPD research were declared valid based on the assessment results by 2 experts, namely media experts 92.3% and material experts 91%, with a very valid category. LKPD was stated to be practical with the results of teacher and student responses through the channel, namely 100% teachers and 99.24% students with a very practical category. LKPD is also effective for improving critical thinking skills seen from the average N-Gain result of 0.92 in the effective category. It was concluded that STEM-based LKPD could improve students' critical thinking skills.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui (1) pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe group investigation (GI) terhadap aktivitas belajar siswa kelas X MAS Al-Wardah Tembung, (2) pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe group investigation (GI) terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas X MAS Al-Wardah Tembung. Desain penelitian yang digunakan bersifat eksperimen. Populasi penelitian ini adalah keseluruhan siswa kelas X MAS Al-Wardah Tembung. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari dua kelompok, yaitu peserta didik kelas X IPA1 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas X IPA2 sebagai kelas kontrol. Penarikan sampel dalam penelitian ini ditentukan secara total sampling (sampel penuh). Teknik yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data penelitian ini adalah observasi dan tes tertulis. Teknik analisis data menggunakan teknik statistika deskriptif dan statistika inferensial. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) ada pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe group investigation (GI) terhadap aktivitas belajar siswa kelas X MAS Al-Wardah Tembung, hal ini dapat dilihat dari hasil diperoleh μA1 > μA2 yang dinotasikan dengan nilai 3,39 > 1,93 sehingga Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima, (2) ada pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe group investigation (GI) terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas X MAS Al-Wardah Tembung, hal ini dapat dilihat dari hasil uji hipotesis diperoleh thitung = 9,723 dan ttabel = 2,000 yang artinya thitung > ttabel sehingga Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the level of validity, practicality and effectiveness of biology modules based on HOTS (Higher Order Thinking Skills) on the material of the human reproductive system. This research is a 4-D model of R&D (Research and Development) (Define, Design, Development, and Disseminate). The subjects of the trial conducted in the study consisted of 20 students from class XI-MIA-2 at SMA Negeri 6 Medan. The results showed that the percentage of module validity scores from material experts was 84% ​​with a very valid category. and module experts by 100% with the "very valid" category. Meanwhile, the percentage of module practicality scores from biology teachers and students were 100% and 92%, respectively, in the "very practical" category. The effectiveness of the development module based on individual mastery of student learning outcomes has reached classical completeness of 85%. with an average value of 89. From the overall results, it has been included in the valid, practical and effective categories.
