Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji bagaimana strategi komunikasi Salam TV dalam menyiarkan program Kisah Teladan kepada para khalayak. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi, dokumentasi, dan studi pustaka. Teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teori Onong Uchjana Effendy yang melibatkan elemen- elemen komunikasi seperti komunikator, komunikan, pesan, media, dan efek media. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Salam TV menggunakan strategi komunikasi yang efektif dalam menyiarkan program Kisah Teladan. Komunikator, yaitu presenter program, dipilih berdasarkan pengetahuan dan keahlian mereka dalam menyampaikan pesan moral dan religius. Komunikan, yaitu para khalayak, diidentifikasi sebagai masyarakat umum yang membutuhkan konten inspiratif dan edukatif. Pesan media disusun dengan baik, menggabungkan narasi yang menarik dengan nilai-nilai keislaman yang mendalam. Efek media yang diharapkan dari strategi ini adalah peningkatan pemahaman dan keimanan khalayak terhadap ajaran agama Islam, serta motivasi untuk mengambil teladan dari kisah-kisah yang disampaikan. Implikasi dari penelitian ini adalah pentingnya strategi komunikasi yang tepat dalam menyampaikan pesan moral dan religius melalui media massa, seperti televisi, untuk mencapai tujuan edukasi dan dakwah yang lebih efektif.

Abstract

This study illustrates how social media Tiktok affects the efficacy of salam da'wah television. This study employs a quantitative survey method. The questionnaire is disseminated online via a Google form. The population consists of followers of the salamtv Tiktok account. the research data were analyzed using regression analysis. The results showed 1) there was a positive and significant effect on the delivery of da'wah on Tiktok to the effectiveness of salamtv da'wah with a value contribution of 55.1% and each increase of 1 delivery value will add to the value of the effectiveness of da'wah by 0.846. 2) there is a positive and significant influence on the da'wah content on Tiktok on the effectiveness of the da'wah of Salamtv with a value contribution of 55.9% and each increase of 1 delivery value will increase the value of the effectiveness of the da'wah by 0.695. 3) there is a positive and significant influence on the delivery of da'wah content on Tiktok together on the effectiveness of the da'wah of Salamtv with a value contribution of 59.7% and each increase of 1 delivery value will add to the effectiveness of da'wah by 0.435 and 0.390

Abstract

This research aims to investigate how the communication strategy of the Al-Izzah UIN North Sumatra Campus Da'wah Institute (LDK) maximises the dissemination of Islamic ideals on social media. The research employed a descriptive qualitative research method. Qualitative research methods employ scientific techniques to elucidate a phenomenon by comprehensively summarising data and facts using language, with respect to the subject of study. The data collecting methods employed were interviews and observations of dakwah content on the LDK Al-Izzah UINSU Instagram social media account. The research incorporates the theories of New media proposed by Pierre Levy, the impact of dakwah on social media, and communication methods utilising SWOT analysis. The primary findings of this study reveal the effectiveness of utilising distinctive and innovative dakwah content, such as humorous videos, to captivate and engage the audience in the dakwah message. Furthermore, the deficiency in disseminating dakwah content on social media stems from a scarcity of manpower and the utilisation of rudimentary instruments for making dakwah content, hence leading to subpar outcomes in the created dakwah video content. Furthermore, there are potential to disseminate Islamic ideals on social media platforms, particularly through the emerging trend of providing innovative and contemporary preaching content. Furthermore, the Al-Izzah Campus Da'wah Institute faces a hindrance in disseminating Islamic ideals on social media due to the removal of parts of their dakwah content on LDK Al-Izzah's social media platforms.

Abstract

The use of social media has significantly increased, transforming from being perceived as a cause of educational problems to an important tool for sharing knowledge and experiences. Consequently, online communities such as Perempuanmasadepan.id on Instagram have emerged as platforms for women's empowerment, offering a space for individuals to support each other and expand social networks. The purpose of this study is to analyze the implementation of women's empowerment programs carried out by the online community Perempuanmasadepan.id on Instagram and to become a benchmark for further research on whether empowerment can be implemented through online communities. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach to analyze various facts and arrive at a conclusion. The data collection techniques used by the researchers included observation, documentation, and interviews. The data analysis used uses narrative data analysis techniques. Researchers refined the results of interviews with informants, namely, the founder of womenmasadepan.id and three members with different work backgrounds in the womenmasadepan.id community. This study found that the implementation of women's empowerment programs through online communities saves time, improves relationships, and builds women's confidence in social media and their environment.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the messages of da'wah contained within the YouTube channel @ChannelFKSMMSunggal by examining the community's interactions regarding the videos presented on the channel. The research employs a qualitative methodology with a descriptive approach. The object of the study is the YouTube channel @ChannelFKSMMSunggal, and data collection is conducted through observation, note-taking, and content analysis to determine whether the content already incorporates elements of da'wah, such as fiqh, aqeedah, and general Islamic studies. The applied analytical method is content analysis, which involves describing message characteristics by elaborating on the content, target audience, and form of the messages, ultimately leading to conclusions about the content’s messaging. It can be concluded that the @ChannelFKSMMSunggal YouTube channel presents Islamic materials that encompass the history of the prophets, aqeedah, fiqh, and discussions related to significant events and current phenomena, all grounded in the Qur'an and Hadith. This presentation links religious teachings with real-life phenomena and the stories of the prophets to reinforce the da'wah messages.

Abstract

Digital media, especially YouTube, has become an effective platform for Islamic preaching (dakwah) to convey religious messages in a moderate, interactive, and contextual manner in the global digital era. This study aims to analyze the content of dakwah messages concerning religious moderation in the sermons of Ustadz Adi Hidayat. This research employs a qualitative approach using content analysis techniques. The methodology involves documenting sermon videos, transcribing the dakwah content, recording metadata, and analyzing the data based on religious moderation, including wasathiyah (moderation), justice, tolerance, and anti-extremism. The findings indicate that Ustadz Adi Hidayat’s sermons on YouTube contain 27 quotations reflecting the values of religious moderation per the official indicators of the Indonesian Ministry of Religious Affairs. The dominant value that emerges is the balance between the relationship with God and fellow human beings (habluminallah–habluminannas), followed by tolerance, anti-violence, and social ethics. The dakwah messages are conveyed contextually and persuasively, integrating Islamic teachings with the social realities of Indonesia. These sermons emphasize the importance of moderation in religious practice and demonstrate the effectiveness of digital media in disseminating peaceful, tolerant, and balanced Islamic values in the post-modern era. This study concludes that Ustadz Adi Hidayat’s sermons on YouTube predominantly communicate the values of religious moderation in a balanced and relevant manner, consistent with the official concept endorsed by the Indonesian Ministry of Religious Affairs.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze and explain the information and communication technology strategy of the Department of Trade, Cooperatives and SMEs in empowering micro, small and medium enterprises based on Islamic and sharia education in East Aceh Regency. This research method is qualitative-descriptive which is applied with a phenomenological approach. Based on the research results, researchers found that the use of communication technology by the East Aceh Regency Cooperative and SME Trade Service through the use of web pages as a means of communication and information, shows their commitment to facing the challenges of the digital era as well as showing efforts to encourage the development of sharia-based Islamic education. In an effort to optimize the empowerment of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in East Aceh Regency, the Cooperative and SME Trade Service has formulated a strategy that includes providing the latest information through communication technology, especially through website pages tailored for SMEs. This strategy not only emphasizes conveying information, but also ensures direct involvement of SMEs in the process, so that they can easily access empowerment programs that are relevant to their needs and interests.

Abstract

This study analyzes how the TikTok account @hendrabdrudy functions as a cathartic space to alleviatework-related stress, particularly in the educational environment. Using a qualitative approach and content analysis techniques, this research explores key themes in the videos uploaded by Hendra Brudy, as well as audience responses reflected through comments, likes, and shares. The findings indicate that the use of humor, relatable personal narratives,and strong visual expressions are key elements in helping users manage stress. Additionally, social interactions in the comment sections reinforce TikTok’s role as a virtual community where individuals feel heard and supported. The Spiral of Silence theory is applied to analyze how social media facilitates individuals in speaking out about work-related stress that they may have previously suppressed. The results show that TikTok not only serves as an entertainment platform but also as an effective tool for supporting mental health in the workplace. This research contributes to theliterature on social media and mental health, offering practical insights for content creators and organizations on how to utilize social media as a means to foster a more supportive work environment.

Abstract

Conflicts over the establishment of houses of worship in Indonesia continue to recur despite the government having established regulations such as PBM 2006 and Law No. 7/2012. This shows a gap between the legal framework and the government's communication capabilities in managing interfaith relations. This study aims to analyze the dynamics of conflicts over the establishment of houses of worship in Aceh Singkil and assess the effectiveness of government communication strategies within the framework of conflict communication theory and Islamic communication principles. The research method employs a qualitative descriptive approach, utilizing in-depth interviews with local government officials, religious leaders, and community leaders, as well as an analysis of regulatory documents. The findings show that the conflict in Aceh Singkil is administrative in nature and rooted in the mismatch between regulatory requirements and the actual needs of the community. The government's communication strategy is multidimensional, combining regulation, interfaith dialogue, and persuasive da'wah principles; however, it does not yet fully involve traditional actors who hold high social legitimacy. As a result, government communication has been effective in reducing short-term tensions but has not been able to produce long-term solutions. This study emphasizes the importance of a holistic and collaborative communication approach that involves traditional stakeholders as a sustainable strategy in religious conflict resolution.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the strategy of the KUA in socializing the negative impacts of early marriage for teenagers in Simpang Marbau Village, Na lX-X District, North Labuhanbatu Regency. Law No. 16 of 2019 concerning has set the minimum age of marriage to 19 years for men and women. The method used is qualitative with descriptive analysis. The data collection technique used is interview observation. The results obtained in this study are that the KUA strategy is guidance for school-aged teenagers, socialization during premarital guidance, community-based education socialization through social campaign media and digital literacy, local transformation applied in socializing the negative impacts of early marriage.
