Abstract

This assistance aims to analyze Penghulu's Islamic Communication Assistance Strategy in Providing Premarital Guidance to Create a Sakinah Mawaddah Warahmah (Samara) Family in Kua Tanjung Morawa. The approach uses PAR (Participatory Action Research). The Islamic communication assistance strategy implemented by the headmen at KUA Tanjung Morawa in providing pre-marital guidance plays a very important role in creating a Sakinah Mawaddah Warahmah (SAMARA) family. The approach used includes a deep understanding of Islamic values, effective communication techniques, as well as empathy and emotional support for prospective bride and groom couples. Through structured guidance and based on Islamic principles, the bride and groom are able to help prospective bride and groom couples understand the importance of commitment, mutual understanding and cooperation in building a harmonious family, so that the goal of achieving a sakinah, mawaddah and warahmah family can be realized more fully real.

Abstract

The general objective of this research was to seek and discover the communication strategy of BAZNAS for Batu Bara Regency in carrying out agricultural productive loan programs. The specific objective of this study was to see how the efforts or efforts were made by BAZNAS of Batu Bara Regency in introducing a productive agricultural loan program to farmer groups in Sumber Tani Village, Datuk Tanah Datar District; obstacles that occur in the implementation of the program; and the benefits felt by the community while participating in the agricultural productive loan program from BAZNAS. This study uses a qualitative approach with the aim of obtaining an in-depth description of the data. The research results obtained showed that in the process of implementing the agricultural productive loan program: (1) The planning that was built by BAZNAS of Batu Bara Regency to run the program used a personal approach to someone who was considered to have influence in farmer groups. In addition, BAZNAS also conducts socialization activities which are carried out simultaneously with the distribution of zakat from the farmers' harvest to farmer groups. (2) The obstacles experienced by BAZNAS of Batu Bara Regency in implementing the program are seen from two perspectives. First, the process of providing assistance and returning assistance to BAZNAS has never experienced any problems. Second, in the program introduction process, farmers still have doubts about participating in making loans. (3) The benefit felt by the community from the implementation of the program is that farmers have institutions that can provide interest-free loans so that farmers' crops can be sold to any party.

Abstract

In general, this thesis research aims to find out about how the Nurhayati Bersama Foundation builds its image without the role of public relations. This study uses a type of qualitative research with a descriptive approach. The data sources used in this study are secondary data sources and primary data sources obtained from observations, interviews, and documentation which will later be compiled and described in manuscript form. The results showed that (1) the process of building the image of the Nurhayati Bersama Foundation was carried out in several ways, namely promotion through distributing brochures, parades, learning recreation, improving the quality of education, improving physical and non-physical conditions, and establishing friendship with the community. (2) The media used in building the image are social media such as Instagram and WhatsApp which are used to post activities from the Nurhayati Bersama Foundation in the form of videos or pictures, then through print media such as brochures and banners. However, the methods used to build the image of the Nurhayati Bersama Foundation to the people of Medan Tembung did not go well because they encountered several obstacles. (3) the obstacle for the Nurhayati Bersama Foundation in building its image in society is the absence of a public relations role that assists the Nurhayati Bersama Foundation in building its image in society and the location of the school which is in an alley.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the communication strategy of the Al-Jihad Imam Nawawi Mosque in developing da'wah among the community in Griya Martubung II, Tangkahan sub-district, Medan Labuhan. Bkm al-jihad imam nawawi activity program in developing da'wah among the community in Griya Martubung II, Tangkahan sub-district, Medan Labuhan. As well as obstacles to Bkm Al-Jihad Imam Nawawi in developing da'wah among the community in The data collection technique used in this research is by conducting in-depth interviews (deep interviews) and documentation. The results of the research found by researchers are as follows, (1) The strategy of Bkm al-Jihad Imam Nawawi in developing da'wah among the community in Griya Martubung II, Tangkahan Medan Labuhan sub-district is a persuasive strategy. A persuasive strategy is a way to persuade and invite Mad'u to study Islamic teachings. (2) Bkm al-jihad imam nawawi's activity program in developing da'wah among the community in Griya Martubung II, Tangkahan sub-district, Medan Labuhan is by carrying out Islamic activities such as recitation, counseling and friendship. (3) The obstacles for Bkm al-Jihad Imam Nawawi in developing da'wah to the community in Griya Martubung II, Tangkahan Medan Labuhan sub-district are the lack of funds which resulted in the construction of the mosque being delayed compared to previous plans, and the lack of public awareness in studying the Islamic religion.

Abstract

Perlanaan Village is a potential village with abundant natural resources. One of the leading commodities in the village is cassava. Most of the MSMEs in Perlanaan Village produce alen-alen because they have promising business prospects. However, in practice, MSMEs have not been able to create good marketing conditions. MSMEs' limited knowledge in utilizing social networks is an inhibiting factor in the development of alen-alen businesses. This research was conducted in November - December 2023 in Perlanaan Village. This research aims to analyze marketing communication strategies in increasing sales of processed alen-alen cassava products in Perlanaan Village. The research method used is a case study. Data collection methods are carried out through interviews, observation and documentation. The data used in this research are primary data and secondary data. The sampling technique uses non-probability using purposive sampling. The respondents used consisted of a group of PKK women and 5 MSMEs. The data analysis method used is a qualitative descriptive analysis method. The research results show that the use of social media is a marketing communication strategy that is quite effective in attracting consumer attraction. Marketing communication is also very important in the marketing strategy for processed Alen-Alen cassava products. Community empowerment activities have the potential to increase the community's knowledge and interest in learning in utilizing the abundance of cassava into more innovative food snack products as well as the rise of social media which has become a strategic tool in marketing communications.

Abstract

Community service is a manifestation of the duties of lecturers and students in carrying out the third Tri Dharma of Higher Education, namely Community Service. Through community service activities carried out in Lingga Cultural Village, Simpang Empat District, Karo Regency, there is a synergy between universities and the community as a form of mutual tolerance and socialization. The purpose of this service is to embrace the community in socializing and also uphold religious meaning in the life of Muslim minority communities. Community service is carried out through socialization activities with the village community, carrying out various kinds of competitions, mutual cooperation and teaching activities. The results of the service provide an illustration of increasing enthusiasm and increasing understanding of the community, especially teachers and parents about religious tolerance and also socializing with each other without distinguishing race, ethnicity, religion from one anither. Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the political communication of the Prosperous Justice Party Branch Leadership Council (DPC PKS) in cadre recruitment in Medan Denai. This research uses qualitative methods with a field study approach. This research is a descriptive analysis study. Data sources for this research include primary data obtained through interviews and documentation, and secondary data originating from journal articles, books and relevant research. Data collection was carried out using semi-structured interview techniques and documentation studies. Data analysis follows the Miles and Huberman scheme, involving the process of data reduction, data presentation, and data verification. The results of this research indicate that the recruitment pattern for PKS DPC Medan Denai cadres involves three main approaches: open recruitment, internal selection, and informal approaches. In open recruitment, political communication is used to introduce the party's vision, mission and values to prospective cadres, build interest and encourage participation in the recruitment process. In internal selection, political communication helps explain new roles and responsibilities to potential cadres through dialogue, maintaining commitment and stability of party leadership. In the informal approach, political communication is personal and relies on personal relationships and trust, helping to motivate prospective cadres to join the party and contribute actively.

Abstract

This study seeks to investigate the impact of the editor-in-chief of LPM Dinamika UIN SU's interpersonal communication on enhancing students' writing originality. The research employed a qualitative method with a qualitative descriptive approach. The researchers at the LPM Dinamika UIN SU secretariat collected data by conducting interviews and participant observation. Data analysis techniques encompass the processes of gathering data, condensing data, presenting data, and deriving conclusions. The research findings demonstrate that the editor-in-chief's interpersonal communication with members plays a significant impact in encouraging and motivating them to enhance their writing originality. The editor-in-chief offers training, disseminates the most up-to-date material, and expresses recognition to members who demonstrate exceptional performance. In addition, social media serves as a significant source of knowledge and a valuable tool for learning. The research findings indicate that the combination of excellent interpersonal communication, environmental support, and utilization of social media can greatly enhance the writing creativity of those involved in campus journalism organizations.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the perceptions and practices of TikTok users in Medan Denai District, North Sumatra, in relation to Islamic communication ethics. This research adopts a qualitative approach with a case study method, using in-depth interviews and participant observation. Through analysis of Islamic Mass Communication Ethics theory, this research explores how the young generation in Medan Denai District practices values such as honesty, accuracy of information, and responsibility in their interactions on TikTok. The research results show that the young generation in Medan Denai actively uses TikTok as a means of creative expression and social interaction. They demonstrate a high awareness of Islamic ethical principles, which is reflected in their habit of verifying information before sharing it and in providing honest and constructive comments. This study concludes that TikTok is not only an entertainment platform, but also plays an important role in the formation of ethical values and social interactions in local communities, providing valuable insights for the development of educational policies and communication practices in the digital era.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the effectiveness of communication strategies in mitigating the spread of hoaxes during the 2024 Election in Asahan Regency. The research method used is a case study with a focus on collaboration between institutions such as the Communication and Information Service, Police, Bawaslu, KPU, and civil society organizations. Data was collected through in-depth interviews with representatives from each institution as well as analysis of related policy documents. Data analysis was carried out using a qualitative approach to identify effective communication strategies and the obstacles faced in their implementation. The research results show that coordinated collaboration between institutions is the key to tackling the spread of hoaxes. Communication strategies involving early detection, quick response to hoaxes, and digital literacy education campaigns have succeeded in mitigating the negative impact of hoaxes on the democratic process in Asahan Regency. This research contributes to strengthening election integrity, increasing public trust in democratic institutions, and building awareness of the importance of accurate information in political decision making.
