Abstract

The aim of this research is to measure the usability effectiveness of a web application by using card menus and tree menus using user-friendly criteria and access speed as indicated by the number of clicks made by the user. The method used in this research is the Task-centered User Interface method, where this method allows for planning and evaluating the arrangement of the interface according to user needs. There are four stages in this method, including user identification by conducting needs analysis, the second phase is user interface design. The third phase is the implementation of the card menu and tree menu design, and the fourth face is testing the usability and effectiveness requirements. From the research that has been carried out regarding measuring the effectiveness of using card menus, it is more effective to use than tree menus because you can directly lift the menu and access it. Meanwhile, for usability, the card menus have a higher usability index than the tree menus. Meanwhile, for usability measurements carried out by direct observation and distributing questionnaires, the resulting percentage of user understanding, ease, and speed for the card menu display was 87% and for the tree menu was 60% so that the card menu display was more accepted by users than the tree menu. The new thing provided by the results of this research is in the form of suggestions that can be used by web application developers to use the right type of menu in building web-based applications with the same specifications as in the case of school finance applications.

Abstract

Websites have become the primary way organizations and individuals to communicate, provide information, and offer daily services. The purpose of creating the Smart Fisheries Village (SFV) website was to enhance the performance and quality of the user experience by measuring and optimizing image sizes using Google's tools, specifically Google PageSpeed Insight. We monitored and analyzed the implementation performance to ensure faster loading times without compromising visual quality. The implementation results showed significant improvements in the SFV loading speed, leading to a more satisfactory user experience. To identify images that slow website loading, we used data from PageSpeed Insight. After implementing improvements, we distributed a questionnaire to users to evaluate the development results. The results of the questionnaire revealed a significant increase in user satisfaction with the loading speed and quality of the user experience of the Bangsring Smart Fisheries Village (SFV) website. These findings provide valuable information for the continued development and optimization of website performance in the future. Therefore, this research makes a valuable contribution to improving the performance and user experience of the Bangsring Smart Fisheries Village (SFV) website.

Abstract

Pembuatan media pembelajaran di dunia pedidikan semakin banyak dibuat dengan memanfaatkan tekonogi informasi dan seiring dengan kemajuan IPTEK. Maka dibutuhkan pembaharuan model pembelajaran ke dalam media pembelajaran multimedia secara visual yang dapat memberikan cara pembelajaran multimedia yang lebih menarik dan menyenangkan. Dimana proses pembelajaran multimedia yang menyajikan gambar sebenarnya tanpa memegang dan melihat bendanya secara nyata. Dengan adanya aplikasi visual dapat mewakilkan benda aslinya sehingga dapat membantu siswa untuk berimplementasi secara langsung dengan benda yang dipelajari tanpa harus bersentuhan dengan peralatannya. Dari hasil penelitian pembuatan media pembelajaran multimedia dan untuk lebih memaksimalkan penggunaan media pembelajaran dibutuhkan pendampingan penggunaan kepada siswa dan siswi. Sehingga pada pengambdian ini dilakukan sosialisasi dan pendampingan terhadap penggunaan media pembelajaran untuk kalangan siswa siswi jurusan mutimedia di SMK Negeri 1 Banyuwangi

Abstract

The aim of this research is to increase the estimated service process time by creating an online-based car service ordering application at the Sinar Jaya repair shop and introducing information about Sinar Jaya car service services to the wider public. In this information systems research, the author of this research software development method uses the waterfall model development method. By implementing a waterfall, the research stages carried out by researchers start from data analysis, system analysis, system design, implementation, and testing. Creating a website-based car service ordering application at the Sinar Jaya Workshop can help customers find out the information available at the Sinar Jaya Workshop and the car service ordering process. Before there was an application, customers had to come to the location to place an order, so it took a long time to arrive at the location. So, with the online booking application, you can save time in the service process and get a queue number online. The data processing process for ordering car services becomes more practical so that it can be processed properly by the admin.

Abstract

The goal of this research is to create an interface design for a photo studio booking application. The User Centered Design (UCD) method will be used to prioritize the user interface and user experience. The success of the UI/UX design will be validated by involving users directly throughout the development cycle using UCD principles. This will include collecting feedback and continuously improving the design based on user input. The research conducted in this study involved the User Created Design method, which utilized an interactive user interface to enable easy booking of studios with a convenient and efficient booking system for customers to use anywhere and anytime. Online booking overcomes the challenge of scheduling difficulties. The information system is treated with accuracy and appropriateness to ensure direct user accessibility. The research was conducted in three stages, starting with the initial stage of data collection and literature study, followed by the UCD Method Development stage, where the method was developed and solutions to early-stage problems were sought. The final stage included a decision-making process based on the conclusions drawn from the insights of five audiences. Through the application of the User Centered Design method, this research has successfully developed a UI/UX design that meticulously takes into account the users' needs during the studio photo booking process. The evaluation results derived from user feedback has increased the system's effectiveness, provided an intuitive and delightful user experience, and ensured optimal user engagement throughout the entire ordering journey. Based on the evaluation results of user responses, it can be concluded that the system has been successful in providing an intuitive and satisfying experience. Users have given positive feedback regarding the effectiveness of the user interface (UI) and user experience (UX), which indicates significant improvements in system navigation and the ease of the ordering process. A deep understanding of user needs, along with continuous iteration based on feedback, has resulted in a positive experience and ensured a high level of satisfaction with the use of this studio photo booking system. Abstract

Sistem pelayanan di tingkat desa masih terdapat hambatan dalam proses pemberian pelayanan pada masyarakatnya. Hambatan yang ada seiring dengan pemanfaatan bidang IT adalah kurangnya pengetahuan dan terampilan pemanfaatan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi khususnya pada pemanfaatan aplikasi komputer yang dapat mendukung pelayanan masyarakat. Hambatan yang kedua minimnya perangkat Desa yang melek IT dalam membantu pelayanan dengan layanan komputerisasi. Sedangkan dukungan Pemerintah Kabupaten Banyuwangi dalam layanan IT dan pemberian free Wi-Fi pada desa dengan tujuan Desa ku melek IT. Berdasarkan dengan hambatan dan dukungan yang adapada Kantor Desa Kedayunan dalam kebutuhan di dunia IT, maka gagasan untuk membantu terlaksanakannya program pemerintah Banyuwangi disini penulis akan melaksanakan kegiatan Pengabdian Masyarakat. Pengabdiannya berupa pemberian Pelatihan Aplikasi Paket Program MSOffice dan pengarsipan serta pengolahan data yang terkomputerisasi (berupa e-mail) untuk Aparatur Pemerintahan(perangkatdesa) Tujuandiselenggarakannya PelatihanAplikasi PaketProgram Microsoft Office dan pembelajaran e-mail ini adalah keinginan untuk ikut serta mengimplementasikan kebijakan pemerintah dalam meningkatkan kemampuan aparatur negara, khususnya aparatur Pemerintahan Desa Kedayunan, Kecamatan Kabat, Kab Banyuwangi. Kegiatan ini sejalan dengan upaya pemerintah dalam rangka menciptakan sosok birokrasi yang melek dengan dunia IT dalam bekerja melayani masyarakat umum yang membutuhkannya.
