Abstract

Youth is the nation's asset, determining the future direction of a better life. Their existence becomes a renewing energy and is critical of a distorted establishment. Youth is the breath of the times, the ideal group of the ummah and the nation who are rich in criticism, imagination, and their role in every event that occurs in the midst of changing society. It is undeniable that youth play an important role in almost every social transformation and struggle to achieve goals. The success of youth development as quality human resources with competitive advantage is one of the keys to opening opportunities for success in various other development sectors. Therefore, youth empowerment is considered as one of the programs that cannot be ignored in preparing the nation's life in the future. Youth have valuable assets as capital to make changes. These assets must be utilized so that they can be useful. Youth empowerment can be done through various ways, both in formal, informal, and non-formal channels. The purpose of empowerment is basically to shape the character of youth, so that they become fully Indonesian human beings or humans who have character that can optimize the talents or assets of youth so that they can prosper individuals and groups. Partners in community service with this Community Partnership Program scheme are the Talun Kenas Village Government, STM Hilir District, Deli Serdang Regency, North Sumatra Province. The output targets of this program are scientific publications, mass media publications, activity videos and being speakers in scientific meetings. The method used in this program is program socialization and Participatory Learning and Action (PLA) involving all targets so that young people can be empowered by releasing all their assets to form a joint business for mutual benefit.

Abstract

Revitalisasi pasar tradisional berarti mensinergikan potensi sumber daya yang dimiliki oleh pasar tradisional dengan mempertimbangkan semua aspek yang komprehensif, terintegrasi, dan holistik sehingga akan mampu meningkatkan daya saing pasar tradisional dengan selalu mempertahankan spesifikasi dan keunggulannya. Revitalisasi pasar tradisional harus dapat dilakukan dengan mengatur dan meningkatkan kualitasnya serta mengatasi kelemahannya yang menyebabkan menurunnya daya saingnya. Penelitian ini menggunakan teori kebijakan publik karena revitalisasi itu sendiri adalah kebijakan publik. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Itu dilakukan Perusahaan Daerah Pasar, Medan, satu-satunya perusahaan yang diberi kewenangan menjadi Pemerintah Kota Medan untuk mengelola semua pasar di Medan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model revitalisasi pasar tradisional sosial didasarkan pada modal sosial. Hasil studi lapangan di dua pasar menunjukkan bahwa revitalisasi ditekankan pada dimensi fisik pasar tanpa mempertimbangkan dimensi lain. Modal sosial bahkan telah membuat mereka menurun dan gagal di pasar Sukaramai. Di sisi lain, revitalisasi akan berhasil ketika merangkul atau menggunakan dimensi lain seperti jaringan sosial, kepercayaan, dan kepatuhan pada peraturan atau norma. Juga ditemukan bahwa kebijakan revitalisasi pasar Sukaramai dianggap tidak berhasil sehingga perlu perbaikan, sementara pasar Titi Kuning memiliki kebijakan yang baik.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh akuntabilitas, dan transparansi, terhadap kinerja pengelolaan keuangan berkonsep Value for Money pada pemerintah di Kabupaten Dairi . Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada instansi Badan Pengelolaan Keuangan dan Aset pemerintah di Kabupaten Dairi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif yang bersifat eksplanatif yaitu untuk melihat pengaruh beberapa variabel yang belum pasti. Penelitian Eksplanatif atau yang bersifat menerangkan, yaitu penelitian yang dapat dilakukan kalau pengetahuan tentang masalahanya sudah cukup, artinya sudah ada beberapa teori tertentu dan sudah ada berbagai penelitian empiris yang menguji berbagai hipotesa tertentu sehingga terkumpul berbagai generalisasi empiris. Data penelitian ini diperoleh dari kuesioner,  dan observasi langsung. Hasil penelitian dengan menggunakan analisis regresi linear berganda menunjukkan bahwa akuntabilitas, transparansi, memberikan pengaruh yang positif terhadap pengelolaan keuangan berkonsep Value for Money.

Abstract

Kabupaten Nias sebagai salah satu kabupaten yang ada di Provinsi Sumatera Utara memiliki berbagai ragam sumber daya alam dan budaya sebagai objek dan daya tarik wisata. Objek wisata dan daya tarik wisata yang ada tersebar hampir di semua kecamatan. Salah satu alternatif pengembangan objek wisata dan dapat dijadikan pilihan para wisatawan sebagai daerah tujuan wisata untuk dinikmati khususnya di Kabupaten Nias. Pada penelitian ini menggunakan analisis teori SWOT dalam menganalisis strategi yang digunakan untuk mengembangkan kawasan Wisata SOZIONA Kabupaten Nias. Selain itu penelitian ini juga menggunakan beberapa konsep diantaranya konsep pengembangan pariwisat. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif analitis. Dimana tujuannya agar penelitian ini bisa dilakukan secara mendalam dan lebih luas untuk dibahas oleh peneliti. Hasil penelitian ini menjelaskan bahwa Dalam menjalankan strategi pengembangannya Dinas Pariwisata Kabupaten Nias memiliki faktor pendorong dan penghambat. Untuk faktor pendorong didukung oleh letak geografis SOZIONA yang sangat strategis dan indah, selain itu juga kondisi kebudayaan Kabupaten Nias yang unik sehingga menarik minat wisatawan. Untuk faktor penghambat sendiri adalah kondisi ekonomi, Dinas Parisiwata masih terus melakukan kerjasama dengan beberapa pihak untuk memperoleh dana yang cukup besar untuk membangun kawasan SOZIONA (Somi-Bozihona-Onolimbu-Nalawo).

Abstract

Fishing is an activity to catch fish which can be a livelihood, sport, or hobby that is carried out on the edge or in the middle of the sea, rivers, lakes and other waters. Fishing activities can be a leisure activity or a means of weekend recreation and a means of channeling hobbies. The fans come from various upper classes, middle and lower classes and fishing can be done by anyone, from teenagers to the elderly, both men and women can do fishing activities. Technology advances, fishing rods are made of high-tech materials and have better strength. In addition, these materials are lighter and more sensitive. Along with the times and the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic, fishing activities are increasingly popular, and the emergence of various fishing communities in various places, therefore training is needed to make fishing rods for independence and open business opportunities for young people of productive age. Partners in community service with the Mono-Year Partnership scheme have the output targets of scientific publications, mass media publications, increasing competitiveness, and increasing the application of science and technology. The methods used in this program are socialization to increase understanding about fishing and fishing gear, training in making custom fishing rods and providing operational support assistance.

Abstract

The program fosters the entrepreneurial spirit in all levels of society, becoming an important thing that must be done to overcome and anticipate the development of the hususnya era in the conditions of the covid-19 pandemic. Entrepreneurship training becomes one solution as an effort to foster the entrepreneurial spirit in the community. The methods carried out in this program are Socialization to grow the entrepreneurial spirit, Training in Making hijabs and masks, Training in Organizational Management and Marketing and Providing production support assistance.  Pondok pesantren is one of the nor formal educational institutions in Indonesia, which serves as a source of value and morality, to print qualified cadres and experts in the field of religion. But it is inevitable the fact that santri individuals come from different backgrounds and have different interests and talents. With its distinctive culture, the combination of santri and pesantren culture can produce entrepreneurs in the field of creative enterprises that can produce various pruduk for economic independence in pesantren. Partners in community service with this Community Partnership Program scheme are Para santri at pondok ulumul Quran Jalan Wahid Hasyim, Kwala Bingai, Stabat, Langkat Regency, North Sumatra.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis gambaran pelaksanaan peran dan fungsi pengawasan terhadap penyelenggaraan urusan pemerintahan daerah yang dilakukan oleh Inspektorat Kabupaten Deli Serdang serta kendala-kendala yang dihadapi pemerintahan daerah di Kabupaten Deli Serdang. Secara teknis penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif yaitu dengan menggambarkan secara operasional aktivitas serta lakon yang dilaksanakan oleh inspektorat Kabupaten Deli Serdang. Dengan demikian sumber datanya adalah orang- orang atau individu yang memahami betul permasalahan yang diteliti serta secara formal terlibat dalam proses pengawasan.Hasil penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa peran pengawasan melalui audit internal terhadap penyelenggaraan urusan pemerintahan daerah di Kabupaten Deli Serdang oleh Inspektorat Kabupaten telah dilaksanakan dengan baik. Meski demikian terdapat pula beberapa kelemahan yang menjadi informasi bagi perbaikan perencanaan pengawasan di masa yang akan datang.

Abstract

Limitations of Micro Small Medium Enterprises (MSMEs, or UMKM) in carrying out taxation obligations make UMKM often disobedient in carrying out their obligations. Non-compliance of taxpayers UMKM can harm them with the emergence of problems in the field of taxation on the business they live. To be able to overcome these problems the government has provided tax forgiveness facilities that can be utilized by UMKM. This study aims to evaluate the policy of Law Number 11 of 2016 concerning Tax Remission, of Small and Medium Enterprises Taxpayer at Tax Office Pratama East Medan. The method used in this research is a mixed research method that combines both qualitative and quantitative methods. The main informant in this research is the UMKM taxpayer and the key informant is the tax officer. The population of this study is the UMKM taxpayer who is in the working area of ​​KPP Pratama Medan Timur with the number of more than 100 people. The sample used Taro Yamane formula with sample number of 97 people who become respondents. The results showed that the implementation of tax pardon on the UMKM taxpayer has run quite well.

Abstract

Abstrak: Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat di rumah pintar pemilihan umum (RPP) adalah salah satu wujud dari implementasi tri dharma perguruan tinggi. Kegiatan ini dilakukan kepada mitra yang berkedudukan di Kabupaten Deli Serdang yaitu Komisi Pemilihan Umum Kabupaten Deli Serdang. Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan mitra tentang penguatan rumah pintar pemilu (RPP). Metode pelaksanaannya berupa diskusi dan transfer ilmu pengetahuan (IPTEK). Hasil yang dicapai adalah secara umum terjadi penambahan pengetahuan mitra tentang penguatan rumah pintar pemilu (RPP) yang dilihat dari tiga hal. Pertama, kemampuan dalam mengidentifikasi kelemahan RPP. Kedua, kemampuan dalam mengidentifikasi kelebihan RPP. Ketiga, kemampuan dalam merencanakan kegiatan untuk penguatan RPP.Abstract: Community service activities at the Rumah Pintar Pemilu/RPP (Election Smart House), are a manifestation of the tri dharma (university). This (RPP) is not an independent institution, but it is under the structure of the Komisi Pemilihan Umum (General Election Commission) Deli Serdang Regency. So partners in this activity are to this institution. This service activity aims to increase partner knowledge about strengthening election smart houses (RPP). This is achieved by using several methods namely, discussion and transfer of knowledge (IPTEK).. The success of this activity can be seen from the intercalation of partner knowledge about strengthening election smart houses (RPP) which is evaluated from three things. First, accomplishments identify the weaknesses of RPP. Second, accomplishments identify the advantages of RPP. Third, accomplishments in formulating the strengthening of RPP.

Abstract

Village Community Development and Empowerment (P3MD) is an effort to develop community independence and welfare by increasing knowledge, attitudes, skills, behavior, abilities, awareness, and utilizing resources through the establishment of policies, programs, activities and assistance in accordance with the essence of the problem and priority needs. villagers. Village development is a process of development activities that take place in the village which covers all aspects of community life and livelihood. Empowerment is an effort carried out to improve the ability of the community to be more able to meet their needs and be more involved in the decision-making process on an equal basis with others. The purpose of this study was to find out how the Effectiveness of the Village Community Development and Empowerment Program in Hutauruk Hasundutan Village, Sipoholon District, North Tapanuli Regency in 2020. This type of research is a qualitative research using a descriptive approach. This research was conducted in Hutauruk Hasundutan Village, Sipoholon District, North Tapanuli Regency. The effectiveness that can be seen from the Hutauruk Hasundutan Village Community Development and Empowerment Program carried out is Development and Empowerment that has been carried out to the Community, Development and Empowerment has been carried out which aims to support all existing needs in the community such as inadequate development, community development and assistance. - Assistance provided to the community. All programs carried out aim to improve the welfare of the people of Hutauruk Hasundutan Village.
