Great potential as a producer of Goldfish and Tilapia in the Haranggaol Village is very large, and the production of fish is very well known up to the city of Medan, each Goldfish buyer knows the quality of Goldfish originating from the Haranggaol Region and has a relatively high price (above average) (average price of goldfish from other regions), but the fish production can be developed further from economic value if obtained in other forms such as fish processing into fish nuggets which are still rarely carried out by the local community, by looking at the potential quantity and quality of fish in Haranggaol Village. used as a potential source of Social Welfare for the community, especially the wamad mamak (recitation of mothers) group who routinely conduct recitation in the Haranggaol Village.

Mothers who take care of the kangaroo method feel more confident in caring for their babies compared to mothers who do not take care of the kangaroo method. Kangaroo care methods also increase the closeness of the mother with her baby (bonding attachment), reduce feelings of stress to the mother as well as to the baby, and make the mother and baby more calm and relaxed. Mother's confidence will improve along with the increase in the ability of mothers to care for their babies. Based on information about the Purba Horison Village, the main problems and alternative solutions were found, namely the lack of means in terms of electronic communication more or less to make the community lack of knowledge in terms of health that also affects family parenting patterns and living standards of the local community. For this reason, counseling and training in the health sector are needed to increase community knowledge that can improve the quality of life of the Purba Horison village community.

The Collaborative Work Lecture with BKS West PTN is one of the community service programs conducted by 20 state universities where the University of North Sumatra is the host of the program. In the KKN program, we realize one of the tri dharma of higher education namely community empowerment. The aim of this program is that students are expected to gain learning experience through involvement in the community who directly find, formulate, solve and overcome problems that are in the field. The Community Service Program that we carry out is devoted to the community in Haranggaol Village, Haraggaol Horison District, Simalungun Regency, North Sumatra Province with the program "Community Empowerment of the Haranggaol Village, Haranggaol Horison District, Simalungun Regency, North Sumatra Province in an Effort to Improve Local Wisdom and Ecotourism in the Region of North Sumatra. This program is expected to be able to contribute to the community in the form of helping improve basic facilities and infrastructure as well as increasing the human resources available in the Haranggaol Basin so that local wisdom and ecotourism are of higher quality and help local communities maintain natural resources so that they are sustainable

Permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh anak-anak di Desa Paya Bakung pada umumnya terkait dengan pembelajaran di masa pandemic seperti sekarang ini. Kesulitan dalam proses pembelajaran karena malas belajar. proses ini berarti menunjukkan pada siswa bagaimana pengetahuan atau kecakapan tertentu mempengaruhi dirinya, melayani tujuan-tujuannya, dan memuaskan kebutuhannya. Bila siswa menyadari bahwa belajar merupakan suatu alat untuk mencapai beberapa tujuan yang dianggapnya penting, dan jika siswa melihat bahwa hasil dari pengalaman belajarnya akan membawa kemajuan pada dirinya, kemungkinan besar ia akan berminat. Solusi yang ditawarkan dalam kegiatan praktikum untuk Kelompok (Groupwork) ini adalah pendidikan secara komprehensif tentang pentingnya paham mengenai pentingnya belajar, kemudian dilanjutkan menjawab pertanyaan. Program Intervensi yang digunakan dalam kegiatan Praktikum ini adalah Intervensi Mezzo oleh Zastrow yang terdiri dari; Persiapan (dengan Pendekatan Non-Direktif), Intake/Engangement, Assesment, Perencanaan, Implementasi dan Rencana Aksi, Evaluasi dan Terminasi. Hasil dari kegiatan ini adalah bertujuan agar anak-anak di Desa Paya Bakung ini mampu bersaing dengan teman-temannya yang lain, tidak ketinggalan, serta agar masa depan mereka lebih cerah dan cemerlang.

This study compares the Therapeutic Community model with the Narcotics Anonymous Model which is applied to the Narkotika, Psikotropika dan Obat Terlarang (Narkoba) institutions in increasing resident participation. The research approach used is qualitative with descriptive type. The location of the study was conducted at the Charitas PSE Institution in Deliserdang Regency, Medan Mitra Masyarakat Foundation, which used the Narcotics Anonymous Model. The Narcotics Rehabilitation Institution uses the Therapeutic Community Model, namely: Panti Sosial Permadi Putra (PSPP) Initiated by Deliserdang District, Yayasan Nazar Medan City, LOKA BNN Deliserdang. The population in this study is the entire resident who is in the Rehabilitation Institution which is the location of the study as many as 114 people, the sample of this study is the entire study population with the formula n = N, the sample of this study amounted to 114 people. Techniques for collecting data through literature studies, interview and questionnaires, and field observations. The results showed that from the 7 stages of the participation model used there were differences in the Functional Participation stage using the Therapuetic Community Model (TC) 55.5 "%, while the Narcotic Anonymous (NA) Model was 100%, at this stage the difference was very significant at 44.5 %, and interactive participation using Therapeutic Community Model (TC) 65.4%, while Narcotic Anonymous Model (NA) is 44%, at this stage there is a difference of 21.5%

This research purpose to describe the social intervention of the Birmingham Small Arm Owner Motorcycle Siantar (BOM'S) community in fighting for pedicabs with the Birmingham Small Arm (BSA) motorbike brand as a means of transportation for tourists. The research method was carried out with a qualitative approach, the informants in the study were the key informants and 4 main informants. The location of the study was carried out in Pematangsiantar City. The results of this study describe social intervention by the Birmingham Small Arm Owner Motorcycle Siantar (BOM'S) with 4 demands called the " Empat Tuntutan Rakyat Bikers Becak Siantar ", with demonstration activities, besides the community also conducts social activities such as touring, tourism promotion in Pematangsiantar City. antique motorbike exhibitions, cultural arts performances, and the next action was the construction of the Becak Siantar monument in the Siantar City Square in 2018, which featured the Siantar pedicab with the Birmingham Small Arm/BSA brand motorbike as an icon of the Pematangsiantar City. The conclusion of this study is a model of social community intervention that is carried out using a model of social action and community development.

Anak merupakan karunia tuhan yang harus di lindungi keberadaannya karena anak merupakan yang paling rentan terkena masalah sosial. Anak yang dimaksud tersebut seperti anak yatim piatu, anak broken home, anak korban kekerasan, anak berkebutuhan khusus, anak jalanan dll. Dan panti asuhan merupakan lembaga kesejahteraan sosial yang bertujuan merawat dan juga membantu dalam pemenuhan kebutuhan dasar ataupun pendidikan anak-anak yang kurang beruntung dalam kehidupannya. Tujuan kegiatan praktikum ii ini adalah membantu pihak panti dengan cara melaksanakan kegiatan fun cooking pada anak panti asuhan sasaran pengabdian adalah panti asuhan baitul amanah irwansyah dakhi kecamatan percut sei tuan, sumatera utara. Tahapan kegiatan menggunakan metode sosial grup work menurut zastrow yaitu tahapan intake case, assessment, penyeleksian, pengembangan kelompok, evaluasi dan terminasi. Sebelum melakukan kegiatan program. Pratikan melakukan survey pendahuluan untuk melihat kondisi di lapangan dan memperoleh izin kegiatan rutin dipanti asuhan. Hasil yang dicapai dalam program fun cooking ini adalah anak anak sangat antusias dalam melaksanakan program sehingga anak-anak panti diharapkan dapat mengambil manfaat dan juga manfaat. Mereka menghias sandwich dengan beberapa bahan makanan sesuai dengan tingkat kretivitas mereka masing-masing" sehingga suh anak dapat mencoba hal baru dan dapat menciptakan ide kreasinya sesuai dengan imajinasinya masing-masing.

To increase a child's knowledge, education must be taught from an early age. Learning is defined as all activities carried out by each individual so that their behavior is different after the learning process. By playing, children express themselves without being forced with feelings of pleasure. Playing can provide many benefits to their development and channel their energy also discover new things. Both learning and playing are things that naturally all children should be able to experience. Every child would be happier if they could learn activities while playing. Learning while playing expects them to be able to create results for good development. To achieve the personal development needs of children at the LSM KOPA Jl. Syah Bandar No.23, A U R, Medan Maimun, Medan, Sumatera Utara, learning while playing activities are carried out which aims to help children achieve the goal of being able to learn and also play at the same time. It is also expected to be able to educate how important it is to fulfill learning and play activities for children's personal development needs.

Mental health problems have become unresolved health problems in the midst of society, both at the global and national level. Especially in the Covid-19 Pandemic period, mental health problems will be increasingly severe to be resolved. The 2018 Basic Health Research (Riskesdas), showed that more than 19 million people aged more than 15 years experienced mental emotional disorders, and more than 12 million people aged more than 15 years of depression. One Heart To Empower Foundation (Yasam) is a social rehabilitation that focuses on dealing with drug problems and mental health problems. This foundation is located on Jalan Bunga Rampai IV, Simalingkar B, Kec. Medan Tuntungan. In the patient healing process, Yasam uses therapeutic Community method. In its application, one of the methods included in Therapeutic Community is by entering spiritual values. On this occasion the praktikan applied learning in the form of making calligraphy letters to one of the Muslim patients. This activity aims to make patients suffering from hearing hallucinations can prevent the disorder and restore focus on her.
