Abstract

At current, the Covid-19 pandemic is a global health threat with confirmed cases and high mortality. WHO declared this outbreak a global pandemic because the transmission of this virus was very fast and most countries in the world also  exposed to it. Recent data updating the number of confirmed patients worldwide is 23,491,520 positive cases. Indonesia is one of the countries that has been exposed to this virus  the beginning of March until now on 25 August 2020, there were 157,859 confirmed cases spread across 34 provinces and 415 districts / cities. The purpose of this study was to identify the impact the teachers, students and parents felt during the Covid 19 pandemic during the implementation of online learning. This study used a method descriptive analysis content. This method is used to describe some information about the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on implementing online learning. The results of this study are the impact on teacher performance, that is, the loss of teacher motivation in teaching and there are teachers who do not understand use of electronic devices, the impact on the learning process is that students are not familiar with the distance learning process,Impact on parents as student guardians is issue between students and teachers and economic conditions can affect the learning process of the students.  In the midst of this pandemic, parents are very influential in children's development, such as trying to create a supportive environment to motivate children in learning with these different situations, and the government is expected to participate in embracing the complaints and needs of children in learning, for example internet quotas. Hopefully with joint efforts, the pandemic will end quickly and we can return to building a pleasant situation better than before.

Abstract

Abstrak Pelaksanaan PKM (pengabdian kepada masyarakat) diversifikasi ikan Bandeng sebagai produk makanan untuk menumbuhkan wirausaha kreatif bagi kelompok PKK Payabujuk Tunong Langsa. Tujuan kegiatan ini memberikan pelatihan kepada masyarakat dalam berwirausaha industri rumah tangga melalui produk olahan ikan Bandeng menjadi keripik ikan dan nugget ikan. Pelaksanan kegiatan 2 – 7 Agustus 2021. Metode pelaksanan meliputi: (1) Sosialisasi kegiatan diversifikasi produk ikan Bandeng, (2) Persiapan dan penyedian alat dan bahan kegiatan, (3) Pelatihan diversikasi produk olahan ikan bandeng, (4) Penguatan menajemen usaha mitra dan (5) Monitoring dan evaluasi PKM. Hasil kegiatan ini menghasilkan produk olahan ikan bandeng yang dikemas dengan kuantitas 30 pack keripik ikan Bandeng dan 35 box nugget ikan Bandeng. Kegiatan ini menstimulasi kelompok PKK untuk memulai usaha baru dalam usaha kuliner cemilan makanan sehat yang diolah dari ikan Bandeng. Kegiatan ini menjadi langkah awal dalam berwirausaha kreatif bagi kelompok PKK. Kata Kunci: Diversifikasi Ikan Bandeng, Produk Makanan, Wirausaha

Abstract

Electrolyte solution is a solution that can conduct electricity and NaCl solution is an example of a strong electrolyte solution. NaCl is a chemical compound of salt. On the market can be found many types of salt. In this research, the ratio of current and voltage of electrolyte solution obtained from various types of salt was obtained. This research was conducted by an experimental method using a simple electrical circuit. The purpose of this study is to find out how much current and voltage are produced in each salt, To find out if a salt water solution can turn on the lights. The results showed that the electric current which has the highest value is that of sea salt with the respective water volume 240 mL in 20, 40, 60, gr salt, wherein the current is obtained for 20 gr of current obtained 0.81 A, for 40 gr of current obtained 1.09 A, for 60grn of current obtained 1.16 A and the resulting voltage is the same as 001 volts where the higher the water content salt the salt water voltage is also higher. Then the electric current which has the lowest value is the dalfino salt and elephant salt with their respective volumes of water 240 mL of dalfino salt in 20 gr, 40 gr, 60 gr. For 20 grams of Dalfino and elephant salt a current of 0.33 A is obtained, for 40 grams obtained 0.44 A, for 60 grams obtained 0.65 A, and in the current elephant salt obtained in 20 gr, 40 gr, 60 gr, that is, for 20 grains a current of 0.24 A is obtained, for 40 grams a current of 0.52 A is obtained, for 60 grams a current is obtained currents 0.72 A. So, sea salt can produce high currents because sea salt contains sodium chloride, contains various minerals such as potassium, iron and zinc.

Abstract

Pendidikan adalah jembatan menuju masa depan, tanpa pendidikan yang baik kita tidak akan mampu menghadapi masa depan yang penuh dengan tantangan dan kemajuan teknologi. Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini (PAUD) merupakan sesuatu upaya pendidikan yang diperuntukan bagi anak dari lahir hingga umur 6 tahun untuk menolong perkembangan serta pertumbuhan anak secara optimal supaya bisa mempunyai kesiapan untuk merambah pendidikan lebih lanjut. Salah satu perkembangan yang mesti dikembangkan adalah kreativitas. Kreativitas menjadikan anak lebih aktif dalam setiap kegiatan. Pendidik harus mengetahui potensi dan kemampuan kreativitas yang dimiliki oleh setiap anak didiknya serta perlu mendorong dan mengembangkan kreativitas alami yang sudah dimiliki anak agar dapat berkembang secara optimal. Namun edukasi tersebut belum menyeluruh kepada anak hal tersebut bertolak belakang dengan potensi yang dimiliki daerah-daerah pesisir yang memiliki sumber daya alam yang mendukung, hal tersebut yang menjadi tujuan tim PKM untuk melakukan penyuluhan dan pelatihan pemanfaatan pasir pantai Pelangi kabupaten Aceh Timur sebagai bahan baku pasir kinesthetic. Hasil penyuluhan yakni masyarakat dengan mudah memahami cara pembuatan mainan pasir edukasi sehingga hasil dari pembuatan pasir edukasi ini dapat digunakan sendiri maupun untuk dijual.

Abstract

Pandemi corona masih belum usai, termasuk dikota Langsa, Aceh. Meski vaksin telah diberikan, bahkan telah ada vaksin booster untuk penguat bagi kalangan petugas medis, pemerintah tetap menggalakkan masyarakat, dari lapisan teratas hingga paling bawah untuk terus disiplin menerapkan protokol kesehatan 5M. Penerapan protokol kesehatan pun masih harus diterapkan guna mencegah penyebaran virus corona. Mencuci tangan secara rutin menjadi protokol kesehatan 5M yang pertama dan dirasa efektif untuk mencegah penularan virus corona. Mobilitas dan kegiatan menyebabkan banyak yang mengabaikan untuk selalu menyediakan sabun saat dibawa bepergian. Untuk itu diciptakanlah inovasi sederhana untuk penggunaan sabun ini. yakni dengan adanya sabun kertas (paper soap) dimana sabun kertas ini dirasa jauh lebih praktis dalam penggunaan dan mudah untuk dibawa. Penambahan bahan alami yang aman bagi kesehatan. Selain itu, dengan penambahan bahan alami tersebut diharapkan dapat memberikan aroma dan sebagai anti bakteri sabun yakni formulasi sabun dengan penambahan ekstrak kopi. Dari segi kepraktisan selain mudah dibawa, sabun kertas juga mengurangi resiko tertumpahnya sabun saat dibawa kemana-mana, sebagaimana yang kita ketahui bahwa sabun cair rentan akan bocornya wadah sehingga sabun dapat tumpah dan menyebabkan kerugian. Dengan sabun kertas ini, cukup menggunakan selembar sabun kertas jika ingin mencuci tangan sehingga bernilai ekonomis. Maka dari itu tim pelaksana pengabdian merasa perlu memberian pelatihan pembuatan sabun kertas kepada masyarakat. Selain nantinya sabun kertas tersebut dapat digunakan sendiri juga dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai ladang usaha kreativitas masyarakat.

Abstract

Learning materials for Biology were still arranged in the form of hard-copy books in a State High School Langsa. Meanwhile, in the digital era, learning resources must be available in digital form and can easily be accessed on any electronic gadget, such as smartphones. Moreover, digital literacy competence becomes an urgent priority for students to achieve learning goals. This study aims to develop an Android-based application containing the topic of biodiversity based on local potentials. Also, it determines students’ digital literacy in using the platform. This study applied the ADDIE model as the instructional design, which involved 29 first-year high school students. The data were collected through validation sheets of relevant experts and rubrics of digital literacy skills. The data were then analysed by scoring the validation results and statistical Cluster Test. The results show that the validations done by Android and learning material experts (83.33 and 87.55) are strongly valid, with no revision required. The same validation (94.58) is also found by testing the 29 samples. The Cluster Test divided two groups into Group 1, having no technology mastery (5 students) and Group 2, having the capability to use technology (24 students). The significance test on each indicator of digital literacy resulted in a significance value of 0.01, 0.00 and 0.00, which was lower than the degree of freedom of 0.05. Therefore, both groups have different digital literacy skills in the use of technology. The developed android media is limited to the material of cultural biodiversities by integrating local potencies on flora and fauna living in mangrove areas.

Abstract

The research objective was to determine the validity of the due diligence worksheet based on an ecological project to improve science process skills. To find out the practicality of ecological project-based practicum worksheets to improve science process skills. The study method developed using Research and Development (R&D) consists of several stages of research implementation, namely the first stage is preparing for the Experiment/Preliminary Design. The second stage of product creation (process), includes: assessing students' abilities in selecting and using materials, tools and techniques. Next, the third stage of product assessment (appraisal), includes: assessing the products produced by students according to the established criteria. The target research subjects were 30 FKIP UNSAM Biology Education students. Data collection techniques carried out included using tests, observation sheets, questionnaires, interviews, assessment of Practicum Worksheets, portfolios, field notes and assessment rubrics. The results of this research show that the product feasibility validation test with an average score of 88.22% is declared very valid, while the practicalization test with an average score of 84.2% is declared very valid. So it can be concluded that the Practical Worksheet product is suitable for use for Biology practical learning activities

Abstract

Karena semakin banyak orang yang menggunakannya saat ini, penyalahgunaan NAPZA menjadi masalah besar di Indonesia. Ada banyak alasan untuk kebiasaan ini, seperti tekanan, tawaran, atau bujukan dari seseorang atau kelompok orang, seperti teman sebaya atau seniornya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan pentingnya pendidikan karakter untuk mengatasi penyalahgunaan NAPZA di kalangan remaja. Penelitian ini bermanfaat untuk membantu pembaca memahami pentingnya pendidikan karakter untuk mengatasi penyalahgunaan NAPZA di kalangan remaja. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan studi kepustakaan (library research). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendidikan karakter dapat menjadi solusi dari permasalahan penggunaan NAPZA dikalangan remaja.

Abstract

Since the epidemic of the corona virus, especially in Indonesia, it has had an impact and change in various aspects, including in the field of education, the implementation of an online learning system (in the network). This is a concern and a separate problem in the learning process. Because learning should be a complex activity which is an interaction between two directions in conveying or getting certain information and making changes for the better for students. The formation of the character of students is one of the main essence of the goals of national education. Therefore, it is necessary to conduct research on the effect of online learning on the formation of student character. This study aims to determine how the influence of online learning on the character formation of biology education students at one of the universities in Aceh Province. This type of research is descriptive qualitative research to reveal the character of students during online learning. The research subjects were students of the fifth semester of biology education wich amounts to 40 students. The results showed that even in an online learning atmosphere, the student's character for self-confidence, motivation, responsibility, effort, initiative, strong will, compassion, cooperation, critical thinking, problem solving ability and concentration on goals can be explored well, this is a reference that online learning is still able to explore the character of students so that national education goals can be achieved. Abstrak. Sejak mewabahnya virus corona terutama di Indonesia memberikan dampak dan perubahan dari berbagai aspek termasuk dalam bidang Pendidikan yang diberlakukannya sistem pembelajaran daring (dalam jaringan). Hal ini menjadi perhatian dan permasalahan tersendiri dalam proses pembelajaran. Karena seharusnya pembelajaran merupakan suatu kegiatan yang kompleks yang merupakan interaksi antara dua arah dalam menyampaikan atau mendapatkan informasi tertentu dan membuat perubahan kearah yang lebih baik bagi peserta didik. Pembentukan karakter peserta didik merupakan salah satu hakikat utama dari tujuan pendidikan Nasional. Oleh karena itu perlu dilakukan penelitian tentang pengaruh pembelajaran daring terhadap pembentukan karakter mahasiswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh pembelajaran daring terhadap pembentukan karakter mahasiswa pendidikan biologi disalah satu Universitas di Provinsi Aceh. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif kualitatif untuk mengungkap karakter mahasiswa selama pembelajaran daring. Subjek penelitian adalah mahasiswa semester V pendidikan biologi yang berjumlah 40 0rang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa meskipun dalam suasana pembelajaran daring karakter mahasiswa untuk percaya diri, motivasi, tanggung jawab, usaha, inisiatif, kemauan kuat, kasih sayang, kerjasama, berpikir kritis, kemampuan memecahkan masalah dan konsentrasi pada tujuan dapat tergali dengan baik.

Abstract

Vertebrates is a type of animal that has a spine or backbone. Vertebrates are members of the phylum chordata and are bilateral animals (bilateral symmetry).This research aims to identify vertebrate species in the Langsa City Protected Forest which functions as ecotourism. In this research, the Exploration method using direct observation in the field has been analyzed descriptively. The research produced data that there were 22 vertebrate species in the Langsa City Protected Forest. Of the 22 species of vertebrates that are most protected in captivity, there are 3 species from the Acciptriformes order, 3 species from the Artiodactyla order. The results of this study are expected to provide information on the diversity of Vertebrata in the area of Langsa City Protected Forest that is used as an ecosystem.
