Abstract

The purpose of this study is to develop an interactive learning media in the form of an Augmented Reality (AR)-based flashcard that is used to introduce sexual education to children at the pre-operational stage or early childhood and determine its feasibility level.The research method used is the Research and Development (R and D) method. The stages of development using the Sugiyono model, namely: 1). Potential and problems, 2). Data collection, 3). Product design, 4). Product validation, 5). Design revision, 6). Product trial. Data collection techniques in this study are observation and questionnaires. Subjects at the product trial stage were 4 children. The data analysis technique used in this research is by using descriptive analysis techniques. There are three instruments used in this study, namely instruments for media experts, material experts and instruments filled out by parents.The results showed that AR-based Flashcard Sex Education for children in the pre-operational stage was considered very good by media experts with a score of 80.36%%. The results of the validation by material experts showed a score of 92.86% which means very good. The results of the trial on 4 early childhood children also showed very good results with a score of 92.05%. So based on the scores obtained, it shows that the AR-based Sex Education Flashcard is feasible and can be used as a learning medium.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan produk multimedia pembelajaran interaktif menggunakan teknik dinamis pada mata pelajaran produktif teknik komputer dan jaringan untuk siswa SMK kelas X serta mengetahui tingkat kelayakan dan efektifitas produk multimedia pembelajaran yang dikembangkan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan atau Research Development (RD) diadaptasi dari model pengembangan multimedia for learningdari Alessi and Trollip yang terdiri dari perencanaan, desain, dan pengembangan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa produk yang dikembangkan layak digunakan sebagai alat bantu pembelajaran. Hasil uji coba pada siswa memperoleh nilai rata-rata 4,34 dengan kategori sangat baik, dengan rincian pada aspek materi memiliki rata-rata 4,33 (sangat baik) dan aspek media memiliki ratarata 4,35 (sangat baik). Peningkatan skor (gain score) rata-rata seluruh siswa dari hasil  pretes dan postes sebesar 0,71 (N-gain 0,70), hal ini menunjukan bahwa efektivitas pengembangan produk termasuk kategori tinggi.Kata kunci: pengembangan media, pembelajaran teknik komputer dan jaringan MULTIMEDIA DEVELOPMENT OF INTERACTIVE LEARNING USINGDYNAMIC TECHIC IN PRODUCTIVE COMPUTER ENGINEERING AND NETWORKS SUBJECTS FOR CLASS X VOCATIONAL SCHOOL STUDENTSAbstractThis research aims to produce multimedia interactive learning using dynamic techic in Productive Computer Engineering and Networks Subjects for Class X Vocational school students, determine the feasibility level and the effectiveness of the multimedia learning which was developed. This study is a research development (R D) which was adapted from the multimedia for learning development model from Alessi and Trollip that consists of planning, design, and development. The results of this research are the product which is developed is feasible to be used as a learning tools. The students test result obtain average score 4.34 with very good category. In details, on the material aspect has average score 4.33 (very good) and media aspect has average score 4.35 (very good), (3) the gain score for all students from pre-test and post-test result obtain average score 0,71 (N-gain ≥ 0,7), it means that the effectiviness of the product development gets a high category.Keywords: multimedia development, computer engineering and networks learning

Abstract

This study aims to describe how to use Augmented Reality (AR) in introducing sexual education for preschoolers. This AR-based learning media helps provide an interactive and interesting learning experience. In addition, AR-based learning media in the form of flashcards with an application installed on the Andorid-based smartphone supports preschoolers to study their body parts without limitation of time and place. The integration of AR in the learning of preschool children aims to facilitate parents and teachers as the ideal figure to provide sexual education for their children.The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative research method. The data collection technique uses three techniques: interviews, observation, and documentation. The validity of the data was tested using data triangulation techniques and triangulation methods. Data analysis uses a data reduction process flow, data presentation and verification or conclusion.The results showed that through this AR-based media preschooler learned pictures and songs about which parts of the body they should touch, and which should not be touched. The application of this media is not only carried out by teachers at school but also allows it to be used by parents at home. Therefore, parents will contribute actively to introduce sex education to their children.

Abstract

Communication is a bridge to connect human being. Through communication relationships will be established among people. People will always carry out the process of communication with others during their lifetime. This communication process is not a difficult to do for those who do not experience hearing limitation, but it will become a more complex process for people with hearing impairment. Limitations in listening to sound stimulus make the communication process a little hampered because people with hearing impairment become more difficult to be able to understand the contents of the conversation spoken by the other people. The ability to understand the meaning of what is uttered by the other people in the communication process is called receptive communication. Failure in receptive communication will have an impact on other developments such as in terms of psychological, social, intelligence and economic development. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the reflective maternal method on receptive communication skills of students with hearing impairment. The method used was quasy experimental with a randomized control group pretest-posttest design. The results of the study based on the Mann-Whitney test were obtained by Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed) 0.002 with an error level of 0.05 then 0.002 <0.05 means that Ho is rejected, and Ha is accepted, so there is a significant difference between the control group and the experimental group. In conclusion, the reflective maternal method influences the improvement of receptive communication on students with hearing impairment.

Abstract

Tujuan pengabdian masyrakat ini adalah untuk memberikan pelatihan pembuatan media pembelajaran menggunakan canva untuk guru di SD Negeri Gabahan, Sumberadi, Mlati, Sleman, Yogyakarta. Permasalahan yang terjadi adalah guru tidak memiliki pengetahuan dan keterampilan terkait penggunaan canva. Pelatihan dilaksanakan pada bulan Juni, diikuti oleh 12 orang guru. Pengabdian dilakukan dengan pendampingan dari tim dosen UTY. Tahapan pelaksaan kegiatan ini adalah menentukan mitra, observasi dan wawancara, menentukan pelatihan, pembuatan materi, pelaksanaan dan evaluasi kegiatan. Kegiatan ini diawali dengan memberikan pengantar tentang tools yang terdapat pada canva dan mengembangkan media pembelajaran menggunakan canva. Kegiatan ini dilakukan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi guru dalam mengembangan media pembelajaran. Hasil dari pelaksaan ini adalah 82% guru mampu mengembangan media pembelajaran dengan baik, dan 18% belum dapat mengembangan media pembelajaran dengan baik. Hasil tersebut menunjukkan bahwa pengabdian masyarakat ini mampu meningkatkan kompetensi guru dalam mengembangan media pembelajaran menggunakan canva.
