Abstract

In order to create high quality educational institutions that be able to compete with other educational institutions and increase consumer interest in choosing these institutions, the proper marketing strategy is needed, for example marketing mix. The purpose of this study is to describe how marketing mix strategy increase consumer interest in choosing educational institutions. This study used a qualitative research method with a case study research approach. The results of this study are the marketing mix strategy in Sidoarjo SMAMDA consisting of 7P, namely (1) Product, the products offered to consumers are adjusted in the school's vision, namely Islamic, Excellent, and Synergy with boarding school and regular programs; (2) Price (cost), the amount of costs adjusted to the operational costs of the school. The school also provides scholarships for tuition fees and achievements; (3) Place (location), the location of the school is very strategic because it is easy to reach and access both private vehicles and public transportation; (4) Promotion, school promotion activities through social media, online news, magazines, banners, brochures, socialization in junior high schools, and developing a network of partnerships with several schools and universities in Thailand; (5) Human Resources, educational activities are supported by teachers and education staff that corrsponding with their competencies and qualifications; (6) Pshycal evidence, schools have complete, good, and well-maintained facilities and satisfied all of their students' needs; (7) Process, the learning process applies a holistic education model and satisfied the National Education Standards.

Abstract

This study aims to determine: 1. New school marketing strategies in selecting new students in Al Zamzam Sukodono Islamic elementary school. 2. Constraints faced in implementing the new school marketing strategy in the selection of new students in Al Zamzam Islamic elementary school. This research was conducted using qualitative methods. Research data collected by observation, documentation and interviews, then analyzed using the inductive approach. This research was conducted at Al Zamzam Islamic Elementary School, Address Kedung, Jumputrejo Sukodono Sidoarjo. This school was only established in 2018 with the first batch of 24 students. The results of this study indicate that: The marketing strategy of a new school in the selection of new students at the Al Zamzam Sukodono Islamic elementary school, which starts from the: Planning stage, includes Market Identification, Segmenting, Targetting, and Positioning, which is used to determine marketing including time plans , date of implementation, target segment, marketing area, marketing implementation techniques and implementation team. Organizing, is organizing work including: determining job description with the new admissions committee (PPDB) as executor, organizing marketing strategies and organizing marketing resources of educators. Actuating, is a form of principal's work in directing or indirectly directing the marketing of Islamic education by using various strategies adapted to situations and conditions. Controlling, is the final form and evaluation that is not only carried out at the end, but in the process, so that the marketing strategy that is carried out can be updated following market developments and needs. The results of this study can be used as material for thought, information and input on the implementation of new school marketing in managing education marketing and developing marketing strategies in the future. as well as this research as consideration for carrying out evaluations and planning of school marketing strategies that have been running, as well as references in the field of education, especially education management for further writing.

Abstract

This paper discusses service-based leadership in Islamic schools. Leadership demands a transformation from the heart and changes in character. True leadership starts from within and then moves outside to serve those they lead. This is where the importance of the character and integrity of a leader to become a true leader and accepted by other people or parties. This research is a qualitative-descriptive research which is expected to be able to uncover various information with a careful and meaningful description-analysis. Data sources in this study include principals, staff, students. Data collection is done by interview, observation, and documentation. As for the data analysis techniques through the stages of data reduction, data presentation and data analysis. The results of this research are (a) the principal's leadership has a variety of models that are extraordinary depending on the situation and conditions. (b) Service-based leadership is a new trend for achieving desired quality goals.

Abstract

In order to be able to be independent and develop optimally, counseling is present to provide assistance to students individually or in groups in the personal, learning, social and career fields through various types of services and support activities based on applicable norms. Efforts to help individuals to develop as human beings in terms of education and to form useful personalities in their lives who have various insights, views, interpretations, choices, adjustments and skills appropriate to themselves and their environment, are the role of guidance and counseling in education. To achieve development and optimization in the education process, the form of guidance and counseling is very important.

Abstract

Inclusive schools are places for education for children with special needs who have the same rights as normal children. and learning in inclusive schools is one class without any difference. The purpose of this study was to determine peer assistance in managing students with special needs. The subjects of this study were 23 students at Sawocangkring Elementary School. This type of research is a descriptive qualitative method with an interactive approach. The results of this study are peers have a very important function in the development of attitudes, skills, socializing and peers can be used as peer tutors for children with special needs in explaining the material and accompany during breaks and other activities.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the role of the principal in creating an effective school at SMA Al Fattah Buduran Sidoarjo. The method used to determine the informant is purposive aside. In this qualitative research data collection, the authors use the interview, documentation and observation methods. From the results of this study, it was concluded that the Principal played a role in creating an effective school at Al Fattah Buduran Sidoarjo High School. Effective schools are schools that have good management standards, are transparent, are responsive, and accountable, and are able to empower every important component of the school. This is proven by Al Fattah High School continuing to experience an increase in the number of students, facilities and infrastructure, as well as their achievements.

Abstract

Quality education is always desired by the community, the quality of education in Indonesia is characterized by the achievement of the National Education Standards (SNP) or exceeding the SNP. One factor that determines the quality of education is the implementation of quality learning as well, quality learning is only produced by qualified teachers. The competency standards that must be possessed by teachers are pedagogic, personality, social and professional competencies. Teacher competency improvement needs to be improved along with the rapid development of science and technology, so that through quality learning can prepare graduates who are ready to face life in their day. To prepare qualified teachers cannot be separated from the principal's role as educator, manager, administrator, supervisor, leader, innovator, and motivator. In Permendikbud 15 of 2018 the Principal's Workload is entirely to carry out tasks: managerial, entrepreneurship development and supervision to Teachers and education staff. One of the principal tasks of the principal is to supervise teachers in order to prepare quality learning. This study wants to discuss the Principal's Strategic Role in Improving Learning Quality through Academic Supervision Activities.

Abstract

Schools generally prepare class XII students to continue their studies at the higher education level, both official and non-official, this is done because almost 90% more high school students choose to continue their studies in higher education. In general, students take two selection courses at tertiary institutions, namely the national selection of state tertiary institutions (SNMPTN) and the joint selection of state tertiary institutions (SBMPTN). Both of these selections require intense preparation and guidance by the school conducted by the homeroom teacher and tutor. The purpose of this study is to find out whether the optimization of career services can improve the success of students who are accepted into state universities. This study uses qualitative methods, namely research procedures that produce descriptive data in the form of written or oral words from people or observable behavior. The study was conducted at SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Sidoarjo. In this study the source of the data obtained from interviews and observations to counseling guidance teachers, vice principals in the field of student affairs, public relations and school principals. Research data uses alumni data from Muhammadiyah 2 Sidoarjo High School from the 2015-2016 academic year until 2019 - 2020. Guidance and counseling have a very important role in helping the achievement of national education goals, and helping students achieve maximum potential development, independence in their lives, and decision making and choices to create a productive, prosperous and caring public welfare life.

Abstract

This paper discusses the effectiveness of English Diction election by Headmaster in Managing Institutions of Islam. Language consists of several ranks grammatical include words, phrases, clauses, and sentences. The word is the lowest level and the sentence is the highest level. When you write, the word is a key element in the effort to write. Therefore, a number of words in Indonesian should be well understood, so that one's ideas and messages can be easily understood. Thus, the words used to communicate to be understood in the context of the paragraph and discourse. The word as an element of the language, can not be used arbitrarily. However, these words should be used by following the correct rules. This Pnelitian use This research is qualitative descriptive study which is expected to reveal a variety of information-description rigorous analysis and meaningful. Sources of data in this research include the principals of this research study ju analysis pusataka research is to investigate the theory of structuralism and Derrida Jacquest dekonstruktifisme. Data was collected by interview, observation, and documentation and study the literature. Adapaun data analysis techniques through the stages of data reduction, data presentation and analysis of data. The results of such research are (a) the selection of appropriate language diction will lead to a successful school leadership to manage and develop the advanced study lead.
