Abstract

The accounting cycle is used to see the picture of a company's circumstances in decision-making, whether the company gains or loses. The development of information technology at this time developed so rapidly, so the company is required to continue to innovate to improve company performance. Factors that cause information delays, lack of organized information processing and unintegrated data cause the company difficulties in controlling financial flows. This research designs an application of financial accounting cycle using Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) approach. ERP is known as an integrated system between business processes with each other while the TAM model to see the factors of user acceptance of business process changes using the application. Based on the results of the design of applications that have been developed with several main criteria obtained the benefit criteria with 75% percentage, convenience criteria with percentage 76.67%, usability criteria with 77.5% percentage, graphic design criteria with percentage 80%, compatibility criterion with percentage 60 % and functionality criteria with a percentage of 72.5%, so it can be concluded that the application is useful, easy to use, but it is easier in controlling and making decisions based on these parameters

Abstract

Education related to problems in the shipping industry to the general public who have no background in the shipping industry and activities when ships dock at the port becomes a challenge to conduct research. This research develops multimedia motion graphics to combine graphic design, animation, text, and sound in visualizing materials and activities in the shipping industry. Stages of making multimedia start from ideas, narration, storyboard, tracing, editing, rendering, and testing. The research uses the EPIC Model testing by paying attention to aspects of empathy, persuasion, impact, and communication. The results of testing the effectiveness of the EPIC model obtained an EPIC rate of 4.15, which means that the resulting motion graph falls within the effective range criteria. Abstract

[Id]Tingginya kriminalitas di Kota Batam membuat beberapa warga menjadi khawatir terhadap pencurian. Pemilik rumah dan toko terkadang waswas untuk meninggalkan rumah dalam keadaan kosong. Penelitian ini mengusulkan untuk merancang sebuah sistem kamera pengawas, sehingga pemilik rumah atau toko dapat dengan mudah memantau dan memonitor kondisi rumah mereka dengan perangkat bergerak yang dimiliki. Perancangan sistem kamera pengawas memanfaatkan teknologi wireless yang memungkinkan diakses jarak jauh, dimanapun dan kapanpun oleh pemilik rumah. Kamera CCTV dilengkapi dengan sensor motion yang akan mendeteksi adanya gerakan. Bila terdapat gerakan maka sensor akan mengirim sinyal ke raspberry pi, lalu memprosesnya dengan mengirim notifikasi ke perangkat smartphone. Pengguna dapat memutuskan untuk melakukan kontrol alarm aktif sebagai peringatan bahaya dalam upaya pencegahan tindakan pencurian.Kata kunci: kamera pengawas, perangkat bergerak, raspberry pi[En]The high crime in Batam makes some residents became concerned about theft. Where the owners of houses and shops are sometimes hesitant to leave the house empty. This study proposes to design a camera monitoring system, so that the owner of the house / shop can easily track and monitor the condition of their homes. CCTV cameras equipped with motion sensors that will detect the presence of motion. When there is a motion sensor will send a signal to the raspberry pi, and then forwarded to send notifications to the android. The design of the camera monitoring system using wireless technology that allows remote access, anywhere and anytime by the homeowner.

Abstract

Beverly Hotel Batam is a four-star hotel located in the city of Batam. In this case, Motion Graphic became the media information to introduce Beverly Hotel Batam to the public. The Motion Graphic implementation in this video offers to provide interesting information to provide attraction and be easily accepted by the recipient of the information. Motion Graphic in this video will provide Beverly Hotel Batam information, and how to use a website to make online bookings at Beverly Hotel Batam. From this promotional media, it will help staff at Beverly Hotel Batam to no longer have to explain it manually and make Motion as a website promotion media, so that in the future guests who want to stay at the Beverly Hotel Batam can make online reservations easily on a website that is already there is. The resulting video is very effective as a promotional media, based on the EPIC Model analysis which reaches an average value of 4.58 based on a scale of 1-5. Empathy: In this dimension, the respondent's response is reached 4.56. In the evaluation it means very effective as a promotional media, Persuasion: In this dimension, the respondent's response reached 4.50. In the evaluation it means very effective as a promotional media, Impact: In this dimension, the respondent's response reached a value of 4.68. In the evaluation is interpreted as effective as a promotional media, Communication: In this dimension, the respondent's response reached 4.59. In the evaluation, it means very effective as a promotional media. Also, the material expert gives a score of 4.71 in the evaluation it means very effective.

Abstract

Deteksi wajah merupakan salah satu bagian dari pengembangan Interaksi Manusia dan Komputer (IMK). Pengembangan deteksi wajah tidak hanya dikembangkan untuk keamanan maupun bidang kesehatan, melainkan bisa dikembangkan untuk permainan komputer. Bahkan permainan komputer bisa dikembangkan dengan menggunakan pergerakan salah satu anggota tubuh manusia, sehingga tidak lagi menggunakan mouse dan keyboard. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknologi OpenCV yang menyediakan banyak library.Library OpenCV mendukung perangkat lunak permainan komputer salah satunya yaitu Unity 3D. Salah satu Library yang digunakan, dapat mendeteksi wajah dengan bantuan webcam atau kamera pada komputer. Penelitian ini diimplementasikan pada smartphone android yang memiliki kamera depan untuk menangkap wajah pengguna. Wajah yang terdeteksi dapat menggerakkan sebuah objek dimensi 3. Setiap pergerakan wajah ke kiri, ke kanan, ke atas dan ke bawah juga akan diukur berapa jarak yang bisa didapat sampai wajah sudah tidak dapat terdeteksi oleh kamera lagi Hasil dari penelitian ini yaitu objek dimensi 3 dapat bergerak sesuai dengan pergerakan wajah yang terdeteksi oleh kamera smartphone android, serta didapatkan hasil jarak ideal yaitu 50 – 100 cm pergerakan wajah dari kamera sehingga memiliki akurasi pergerakan yang baik.Kata kunci : deteksi wajah, OpenCV, android, Unity 3D, objek dimensi 3.

Abstract

Perusahaan manufaktur sering kali menghadapi permasalahan dalam memilih pemasok yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan. Banyaknya pemasok bahan baku baik dalam negeri maupun luar negeri yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan menjadi sangat penting dan berpengaruh terhadap keberlangsungan proses produksi. Salah satu solusi yang tepat dalam mengurangi permasalahan pemilihan pemasok adalah memanfaatkan sistem pendukung keputusan untuk menentukan pemasok yang tepat sesuai dengan kebutuhan dan kriteria perusahaan. Sistem pendukung keputusan dirancang menggunakan bahasa pemograman PHP dan MySQL dengan menerapkan pendekatan keputusan metode Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS). Penentuan kriteria berdasarkan harga, kualitas, ketepatan pengiriman, ketepatan jumlah dan kepedulian pelanggan. Hasil perancangan sistem mampu membantu perusahan dalam proses pemilihan pemasok sehingga keputusan yang diambil lebih cepat efektif dan efisien.

Abstract

Pencurian sepeda motor semakin meningkat, terutama di Batam. Beberapa kasus pencurian sepeda motor yang dilakukan dengan teknik tertentu saat sepeda motor berada di tempat parkir. Oleh karena itu perlu keamanan yang tinggi, dengan memanfaatkan suatu teknologi smartphone Android untuk mengontrol keamanan. Penelitian ini merancang sistem keamanan untuk sepeda motor menggunakan mikrokontroler raspberry pi. Secara garis besar, desain sistem terdiri dari sensor gerak, sensor getaran, mikrokontroler raspberry pi, relay, motor servo dan smartphone android. Sistem ini bekerja ketika ada getaran tinggi yang berasal dari motor, sensor akan mengirimkan getaran ke output mikrokontroler raspberry pi dan kemudian mengirim pesan pemberitahuan peringatan. Pemilik kendaraan akan segera mengendalikan sepeda motor saat terjadi pencurian.

Abstract

Nowadays, almost every company use web aplication to do their business activity. Besides multi-platform it also easier for installation and maintenance. Other that web application need a fast and reliable internet connection. It is necessity to make a server in local area network with syncronize database from one server to another server. Syncronize database will run using replication server database. Database replication can use many tool, one of them is Slony that is specially create for PostgreSQL. Replication database can also to pretend stopping application when there is bad internet connection. Replication database is one of stanby server tecknic because down server. Database synchronize will be buid using PHP programming language and PostgreSQL database with Slony which is open source at all, so it will reduce the cost of installation and maintenance.

Abstract

Business Entity library Batam (BP Batam) is a public library located in Batam city with thw number of visitors. Every visitor who comes to do the charging guest book manually by writing system. It causes a buildup of data which are not organized. Data mining is one of the analytical tools that can be used to address the backlog of data. The method of Clustering with the K-Means Algorithm used in analyzing the data library visitors BP Batam. Library visitors using the data processing method of Elbow to get the best number of clusters K i.e., K = 3, and by using the center point (centroid) initial i,e, P1 = (4,1), P2 = (2,4), P3 = (4,2). The purpose of this research is to apply the algorithm for K-Means clustering in the data library visitors (case study library BP Batam). K-Means clustering results obtained from 1556 dataset data library visitors are grouped into three clusters, Clusters 1 is dominated by a college student and visitor located at Batam Center, Cluster 2 is dominated by a college student and visitor located at Bengkong, Cluster 3 is dominated by public and visitor status in Batam Center.

Abstract

Politeknik Negeri Batam is one college that gives higher priority to practicum activity. Students are therefore faced with a larger practical task than theory, making it more laboratory than practicum sessions. While access to the lab is quite limited. Virtual computer labs using Cloud Computing technology can be a solution to overcome this limitation. The author has been doing research on the design of Cloud Computing's virtual computer lab using OpenStack on a centralized network and has got some results. Tests are performed with specific server specifications and use the OpenStack platform. And the results of testing of the virtual computer lab with case studies of object-based programming courses show the server used during testing can run virtual computer lab with 9 computers well. While in the case study there are 30 computers per lab. This is due to hardware resources that are not good enough.
