Abstract

Sistem  biometrika  pengenalan  wajah  merupakan  pengembangan  metode  dasar  sistem  autentifikasi  dengan  menggunakan  karakteristik alami  wajah  sebagai  basisnya.  Pendekatan  sistem  identifikasi  merupakan  pengenalan  wajah  seseorang  dengan  mencari  keseluruhan template dalam database untuk pencocokan karakteristik satu ke banyak (1:M). Sistem biometrika pada penelitian ini dibagi menjadi dua tahap  pemasukan  data  (enrollment)  dan  pencocokan  ciri  (matching).  Sistem  mengakuisisi  wajah  dengan  beberapa  posisi  sudut, pencahyaan dan ekspresi yang berbeda-beda. Citra wajah hasil dari akuisisi, diekstraksi menggunakan metode Gabor KPCA  (8x5 filter) untuk  didaftarkan  ke  dalam  database  sebagai  tahap  enrollment  citra  wajah  dan  tahap  selanjutnya  pencocokan  ciri  (matching)  denganmelakukan  pengukuran  jarak  antara  citra  uji  dengan  citra  database  wajah  menggunakan  Mahalanobis  Distance.  Penelitian  ini menggunakan  database  citra  wajah  AT&T  Face  dengan  sampel  40  orang  dan  10  posisi  wajah.  Hasil  penelitian  menunjukkan  bahwa sistem biometrika yang dikembangkan dapat mengenali wajah dengan tingkat akurasi mencapai 97.5%.Keywords : Identifikasi, Filter Gabor, KPCA, Mahalanobis Distance

Abstract

Guru dan tata usaha merupakan ujung tombak dalam pengembangan peserta didik. Namun, banyak guru yang masih mengalami kesulitan mengikuti perkembangan berbagai metode baru dalam pembelajaran terutama pada anak PAUD. Sistem inventarisasi data di sekolahpun masih menggunakan cara konvensional (mencatat di kertas). Guru PAUD dituntut untuk selalu kreatif dalam membuat media pembelajaran yang tepat sesuai perkembangan anak. Staf administrasi (TU) dituntut untuk mengikuti perkembangan teknologi informasi. Metode pelaksanaan dalam program ini meliputi tahap persiapan, tahap pelaksanaan dan tahap evaluasi. Tahap persiapan membuat kesepakatan untuk mengalokasikan waktu dan tempat selama program pelatihan dan pendampingan. Selain itu menganalisis kebutuhan dengan melihat spesifikasi perangkat yang sudah ada dan sistem yang sudah berjalan. Tahap pelaksanaan berupa program pelatihan dan pendampingan untuk guru dan tata usaha di Batam. Pada tahap evaluasi, dievaluasi program pelatihan dan pendampingan secara keseluruhan. Harapannya setelah pelatihan dan pendampingan, guru TK / RA dan tata usaha memiliki kemampuan dalam penguasaan media IT maupun online untuk lebih kreatif dan inovatif dalam menyiapkan pembelajaran yang sesuai dengan perkembangan anak. Selain itu dapat terjalin kerjasama mitra secara kontinuitas.

Abstract

Nowadays, the application of technology in mosques is important to help the smooth running of activities. Miftachul Jannah Mosque, Duriangkang Village, Sungai Beduk Subdistrict, Batam City seeks to overcome two main problems; first, the repeated theft of charity box money. Second, there are frequent power outages that disrupt the recitation process. As a solution, the service team conducted research aimed at improving security and electricity availability through the installation of internet networks and solar panels, which are integrated with CCTV systems. The object of this research focuses on the application of technology in the mosque environment to ensure the continuity of religious activities without obstacles. The Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) method was applied to design and implement the system with the participation of mosque administrators and teachers. The results show that the utilization of solar power generation significantly supports the operation of electronic equipment, such as street lighting and power sources for wifi routers and CCTV. The implementation of this system has proven to provide tangible benefits, in the form of a reliable source of renewable energy and increased security functions through internet-connected CCTV, which also supports the teaching and learning process with an online attendance system for TPQ students. And the administrators and teachers are satisfied with this service.

Abstract

Since the Covid-19 pandemic, the growth of E-commerce in Indonesia has increased sharply. The COVID-19 pandemic has caused a shift in human habits or activities from offline to online. However, the lack of facilities and infrastructure, especially the fish auction place, is an obstacle fishers face when they want to market and distribute their catch. This study aims to provide an alternative solution to the limitations of fish auction places. This research develops a prototype of a fishery marketplace application to make it easier for fishers to market their catch.  The research method in software development uses a prototyping model and usability testing using the SUS scale. Based on fishermen's gadgets owned, including network infrastructure availability in hinterland areas. This study used technology that utilizes SMS Gateway. SMS messages in the form of information on fish products. Based on the analysis and calculation of the SUS score, the result is 79.25, meaning that the fisherman's application is functionally perfect and can be accepted by users. The fisheries marketplace application displays a catalog of fish products that can access the public to view product information, prices, and transact. Buyers and sellers meet in the fisheries marketplace application to make offers via call communication or take advantage of the provided WhatsApp API.

Abstract

Pengendali persediaan bertanggung jawab untuk membuat keputusan mengenai kebijakan keluar masuk barang. Produksi dan prosedur harus diperhitungan dengan tepat agar dari semua yang ditangani memperlancar prose produksi. Terkadang terdapat beberapa kekurangan dalam proses pencatatan dan pengolahan persediaan barang pada suatu Perusahaan. Terkait hal itu akan berdampak pada proses produksi dan transaksi penjualan. Perancangan sistem yang diusulkan adalah agile scrum. Scrum merupakan sebuah model yang mengutamakan kecepatan pengembangan yang terdisi dari Product Bcklog, Sprint Planning Meeting, Sprint Backlog, Sprint, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, Sprint Retrospective, dan Finished Work. Penyusunan daftar prioritas fitur dan kebutuhan sistem dalam bentuk Product Backlog mendukung percepatan pengembangan sistem pengendali stok barang.

Abstract

Abstract. The dry season is starting to be felt in Batam and brings the threat of drought. This dry or hot season has an impact in the form of the threat of protected forest fires in the Rempang and Galang Island areas, Batam. Residents of Pasir Panjang at the end of last month a fire accident occurred in the residential area of the village. This has made residents wary of fires. The development of technology is currently increasing rapidly with the existence of the Internet of Thing (IOT) which is one of the solutions to problems in daily activities, including in handling fires. The purpose of this service is to try to make an application for fire detection in the residential area. The method of implementation is carried out in stages, needs analysis, training and mentoring programs, handing over of tools and evaluation of activities. The results of this service are in the form of a prototype IoT application product. Another result is from training in the form of socialization of fire hazard prevention by demonstrating a tool with a very good and enthusiastic response from the community based on an average rating scale above 4. Abstrak. Musim kemarau mulai terasa di Batam dan membawa ancaman kekeringan. Musim kemarau atau panas ini menimbulkan dampak berupa ancaman kebakaran hutan lindung di kawasan Pulau Rempang dan Galang, Batam. Warga Pasir Panjang akhir bulan lalu terjadi musibah kebakaran yang menimpa di kawasan perkampungan tempat tinggal. Hal ini membuat warga was-was terhadap bancana kebakaran. Perkembangan teknologi saat ini semakin pesat dengan adanya Internet of Thing (IOT) menjadi salah satu pemecahan masalah dalam aktifitas sehari-hari, tak terkecuali dalam penanganan kebakaran. Tujuan dari pengabdian ini adalah mencoba membuat suatu aplikasi untuk pendeteksi kebakaran di daerah perkampungan tempat tinggal. Metode pelaksanaan dilakukan secara bertahap analisa kebutuhan, program pelatihan dan pendampingan, penyerahan alat dan evaluasi kegiatan. Hasil pengabdian berupa produk prototype aplikasi IoT. Hasil lain yakni dari pelatihan berupa sosialisasi pencegahan bahaya kebakaran dengan memperagakan alat dengan respon masyarakat sangat baik dan antusias berdasarkan rata2 penilaian skala diatas 4.

Abstract

The impact of the Coronavirus, also known as COVID-19, which emerged in 2019, has not only threatened public health but also affected the global economy, including Indonesia. The government has initiated various aid programs to assist the community during the COVID-19 pandemic. These aids are expected to alleviate the economic burden on the affected population. One such aid program is the Direct Cash Assistance (Bantuan Langsung Tunai/BLT) from the Village Fund, which has been distributed since the onset of COVID-19 in Indonesia. However, the distribution of BLT has encountered several issues, including misidentification of recipients and double or excessive distribution beyond the established criteria. To address these issues, data mining for the classification of aid recipients can be employed. This study uses the K-Nearest Neighbor (KNN) method for data mining classification to classify residents' data with new patterns, ensuring aid distribution aligns with the criteria and eliminating double recipients. The application of K-Nearest Neighbor to the population data in Kasomalang District yields optimal performance, with evaluation results showing an accuracy of 96%, precision of 0.98, recall of 0.96, and F1 score of 0.97 using the confusion matrix method.

Abstract

The current business landscape has compelled many companies to compete in boosting their company's revenue, particularly in the F&B sector. Existing sales transaction data has not been fully maximized in determining the business strategy of companies. Therefore, the implementation of data mining is necessary to analyze and explore available data to discover new information that is more beneficial for the company. In this study, we analyze sales transaction data using the a priori algorithm method because this algorithm efficiently handles the data mining process on a large scale with a substantial amount of data. The results of this study indicate that the formed association rules can determine patterns of product purchases that are frequently bought together. The established association rules successfully combine sales transaction data into two-item combinations, namely green tea latte and french fries, with a support value of 16% and a confidence level of 83%. These rules can be used as a reference in determining the company's business strategy.

Abstract

Batam City, as a rapidly developing tourism destination in Indonesia, continues to strive to enhance the potential of its tourist attractions to attract more visitors. The assessment of reviews from tourists is crucial in identifying necessary development measures to improve the quality of tourist attractions. This research aims to analyze the sentiment of reviews for the Alun-Alun Kota Batam tourist destination by leveraging data from Google Maps. Two classification methods, Naive Bayes and Support Vector Machine, are employed for sentiment analysis, and their performances are compared. From 1140 collected reviews, the data is categorized into three labels: positive, negative, and neutral. The research results indicate that the Support Vector Machine method achieves higher accuracy (94%) compared to Naive Bayes (83%). This study contributes insights into visitor sentiments towards Alun-Alun Kota Batam, with implications for policy development and more effective actions in enhancing local tourism appeal.

Abstract

Twitter can be seen as a platform for candidates and users to gain substantial reach to show their views on who the president will be elected to in 2024. The aim of this study is to explore contrasting information over time regarding whether Puan Maharani can be one of the candidates. The best according to the Indonesian people. In this study, sentiment analysis was carried out using the text mining method and several libraries such as TextBlob, VaderSentiment, and SentiWordNet to retrieve and classify the polarity of opinions from data that had been crawled. In the dataset generated with the keyword "Puan Maharani" The average negative sentiment is only 0.1%, neutral sentiment is 97.25, and positive sentiment is 2.55%. It can be concluded that Twitter users tend to be neither aggressive nor defensive in discussing issues leading to the candidacy of Puan Maharani in the upcoming 2024 Indonesian presidential election.
