Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemanfaatan lingkungan sekolah sebagai sumber belajar dengan model inkuiri terbimbing terhadap hasil belajar Kognitif siswa. Metode penelitian ini adalah Quasi Eksperimen dengan desain penelitian Non equivalent control group design. Sampel yang digunakan adalah kelas X SMAN 4 Palembang. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Tes pilihan ganda yang berjumlah 24 soal untuk menilai kemampuan kognitif siswa. Teknik analisis data menggunakan Paired Sample t-Test. Hasil penelitian menyatakan pada kelas eksperimen dengan (α = 0,05) didapatkan nilai signifikansi (2-tailed) 0,000. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa pemanfaatan lingkungan sekolah sebagai sumber belajar dengan model inkuiri terbimbing memberikan pengaruh terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada konsep keanekaragaman hayati kelas X di SMA Negeri 4 Palembang.Kata Kunci: lingkungan sekolah, sumber belajar, inkuiri terbimbing, hasil belajar.

Abstract

Learning activities are activities carried out to produce changes in knowledge and skills in students. Learning activities contribute to the learning outcomes that students will get. The purpose of this study was to determine student learning activities in class X virus material at SMA Negeri 10 Palembang. This research is a type of quantitative description research. The study population was all Grade X MIA students of SMA 10 Palembang. Class X MIA 2, MIA 4, MIA 5, and MIA 7 research samples were taken using a purposive sampling technique. Data obtained using observation sheets. The results of class X MIA 2 obtained a percentage of 67% including the excellent category, class X MIA 4 gained a percentage of 67% including the excellent category, class X MIA 5 gained a percentage of 65% including the excellent category and class X MIA 7 with a percentage of 62% including the excellent category. Student learning activities are categorized as useful because students follow learning by carrying out various learning activities. The conclusion is that the average learning activity of class X students of SMA Negeri 10 Palembang on virus material obtains 65%, including the excellent category. The highest percentage is emotional activity and mental activity, with a percentage of 71%. The activity that gets the lowest percentage is drawing activity with a percentage of 48%.

Abstract

This research is motivated by smoking behavior in the house with the incidence of pulmonary tuberculosis. The formulation of the problem in this research is How the smoking behavior in the house and the incidence of pulmonary tuberculosis disease as a source of a learning. The purpose of this research was to determine of smoking behavior in the house with the incidence of the pulmonary tuberculosis disease as a source of a learning. Research method is used descriptive qualitative. Population and sample in this research is community in outbreak region 3-4 Ulu Palembang which is patient with tuberculosis lung disease based on data obtained from puskesmas 4 Ulu Palembang on between 2016 and 2017 and from doctor practice in region of 3-4 Ulu Palembang. Data collection techniques in this study using a questionnaire, while data analysis techniques using statistics descriptive. Based on the results of research and discussion of research, description of smoking behavior in the house and the incidence of pulmonary tuberculosis is true and done by respondents in Village 3-4 Ulu Palembang which is a patient of pulmonary tuberculosis disease obtained from the primary data in this study and it can be concluded that the behavior of smoking in the house can cause epidemic pulmonary tuberculosis disease although there are also respondents who are not active smokers but they are exposed to pulmonary tuberculosis disease which is probably caused by anything else obtained from the secondary data in this study.

Abstract

Pupuk  organik ampas tahu dengan bioaktivator mol tape singkong mengandung unsur  makro yang berpotensi terhadap pertumbuhan kangkung darat (Ipomoea reptans). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kandungan unsur makro pupuk organik ampas tahu dengan bioaktivator mol tape singkong pada konsentrasi yangr berbeda terhadap pertumbuhan kangkung darat (Ipomoea reptans). Penelitian di dilaksanakan di kebun biologi,uji hara pupuk organik dan tanah di laboratorium Baristand, metode Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan acak kelompok (RAK) dengan 4 perlakuan dan 6 ulangan. Hasil penelitian ini menujukkan terdapat kandungan unsur makro pupuk organik ampas tahu  pada Nitrogen terdapat 0,09 %, posfor (sbg P2O5)  terdapat  0,62% dan Kalium (sbg K2O) 1,82 %. Dari hasil analisis sidik ragam terhadap tinggi tanam F-hitung perlakuan 2,769 lebih kecil dibanding F tabel 0,05 (3,29) dan F tabel 0,01 (5,42),jumlah daun F-hitung perlakuan 6,284 lebih besar dibanding F tabel 0,05 (3,29) dan F tabel 0,01 (5,42), lebar daun F-hitung perlakuan 17,40 lebih besar dibanding F tabel 0,05 (3,29) dan F tabel 0,01 (5,42), dan pada panjang daun F-hitung perlakuan 6,935 lebih besar dibanding F tabel 0,05 (3,29) dan F tabel 0,01 (5,42). Pemberian pupuk organik ampas tahu dengan bioaktivator sangat berpengaruh terhadap pertumbuhan kangkung darat (Ipomoea reptans)  Growth is a process increase the size, shape or volume. kale  (Ipomea reptans L.) is a plant that lived and can grow more than one year. characteristic of kale is elliptic, has spacious, containing water (herbaceous) and potholes. the purpose of this studyto determine the content of macro elements in organic fertilizers made from tofu and fermented cassava bio-activator mole on the growth of land kale (Ipomoea reptans, L). This study carried out on the garden in the UMP and test biological nutrientorganic fertilizers and performed in the Baristand’s laboratory. This research using randomized block design (RBD) with 4 treatments and 6 rans. the results of this study shows that it contains macro elements (CME) in soil and organic fertilizer pulpout with a bio-activator mol cassava with different concentrations, and test results significant difference (LSD) at treatment P0, P1, P2, and P3 showed highly significant the height, number of leaves, leaf width and length of the leaves on the plant kale land (Ipomoea reptans L).

Abstract

Penggunaan obat anti nyamuk berbahan dasar kimia marak dilakukan seiring meningkatnya populasi nyamuk demam berdarah (DBD). Pencegahan nyamuk dengan memanfaatkan bahan alami menjadi salah satu alternatif yang tidak hanya menguntungkan bagi manusia tapi juga lingkungan sekitar. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui efektifitas daun mint, lengkuas, Sambiloto, babadotan, daun alpukat, daun salam, pucuk merah, dan daun zodia sebagai obat anti nyamuk elektrik terhadap nyamuk Aedes aegypti. Prosedur penelitian dilakukan menggunakan metode rancangan acak lengkap (RAL) dengan 8 variabel bebas (8 tanaman) dan 1 variabel terikat (nyamuk Aedes aegypti). Jumlah perlakuan sebanyak 9 dengan 3 kali ulangan. Berdasarkan penelitian yang dilakukan dapat diketahui bahwa dalam waktu 5 menit, ekstrak yang paling efektif untuk mortalitas nyamuk adalah pada ekstrak daun Alpukat dan daun Salam sebanyak 100%, ekstrak lengkuas sebanyak 82,22%, esktrak daun Mint sebanyak 51,11%, dan ekstrak daun Babadotan sebanyak 8,89%. Ekstrak daun salam dan daun alpukat mampu membunuh nyamuk dalam waktu 5 menit, lengkuas dan daun mint mampu membunuh nyamuk dalam waktu 10 menit dengan persentase lengkuas yang lebih besar. Ekstrak daun Babadotan mampu membunuh nyamuk dalam waktu 20 menit, sedangkan ekstrak Zodia mampu membunuh nyamuk dalam waktu 30 menit (perhitungan menit ke-25 dan menit ke-30). Hasil analisis menunjukkan signifikansi sebesar (0,00) 0,05 yang berarti ekstrak tanaman berpengaruh nyata terhadap mortalitas nyamuk Aedes aegypti L.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the characteristics and feasibility of biology assessment based on critical thinking skills. This research is a research and development that adapts to the McIntire Miller development model. The sample used in the first trial was 80 students, and in the second trial were 76 students. Data collection techniques using questionnaire sheets, questionnaire sheets, interview sheets, test instruments in the form of essay questions of biology grade XI based on critical thinking from Facione with indicators: interpretation, analysis, evaluation, explanation, conclusions, and self-regulation. Techniques of data analysis using qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis. The results of this study were in the form of a biology assessment based on critical thinking skills in the form of essays in odd semester XI material and from the results of the 1st and 2nd trials totaling 24 items. The content validity of biology assessment based on critical thinking skills is qualified to very high. The construct validity the items are 28  questions valid (1st trial) with reliability value is 0.875. Furthermore, 24 questions are valid (2nd trial) with reliability value is 0.764. The results of the level of difficulty test are 0.332 (1st trial) and 0.537 (2nd Trial). The value of discriminating power is 1,541 (1st trial) and 2,021 (2nd trial). The data shows that the items can be used to measure students' critical thinking skills. We can involve the mental processes of pupils by the test based on critical thinking skills.

Abstract

Mosquito Culex sp. L. is a vector of elephantiasis disease, prevention effort of elephantiasis vector is usually done by using chemical and natural insecticide. In the leaves of turmeric can be used as a natural insecticide in the prevention of elephantiasis vector disease. The objectives of this research are (1) to know the effect of turmeric extract ((Curcuma longa Linn.) As electrical insecticide to mortality of Culex sp. L. (2) To know the concentration of turmeric extract (Curcuma longa Linn.) Which is effective to be used as an electric insecticide against mortality of Culex sp. L. expressed by the toxicity test of LC50 and LT50. The method used in this research is an experimental method with Completely Randomized Design (RAL) which consists of 5 treatments and 4 replications. Based on research result of turmeric extract (Curcuma longa Linn.) Have a very significant effect on mortality of Culex sp. L. with sig value 0,000 <sig value. 0.05. The probit analysis of LC50 of turmeric leaves extract on mortality of Culex sp. L. is 44, 840 ml, meaning that at that concentration has occurred 50% mortality of total mosquito. The probit analysis of LT50 turmeric leaves extract on mortality of Culex sp. L. for 1.825 hours. Keywords: turmeric leaves extract, mortality Culex sp. L. mosquito

Abstract

This study aims to determine students' understanding of the concept of environmental pollution material in the school of SMAN 4 Palembang. This type of research is quantitative descriptive. The population of this study were all students of class XI MIPA SMAN 4 as many as 161 students. Sampling uses total sampling technique. Data collection techniques using test questions understanding concepts. The results of the study based on the analysis carried out using the percentage level of understanding of students 'concepts showed that students' understanding of concepts in environmental pollution material at Palembang State High School 4 was at high criteria with an average value of 65%. Conclusion the students' conceptual comprehension ability in environmental pollution material at Palembang State High School 4 with the highest value is found in the classifying indicator of 86% with very high criteria, and the lowest indicator is in the concluding indicator which is equal to 48% with the criteria being.

Abstract

Perilaku Hidup Bersih dan Sehat (PHBS) merupakan sekumpulan perilaku yang dipraktikkan atas dasar kesadaran sebagai hasil pembelajaran, yang menjadikan seseorang, keluarga, sekelompok atau masyarakat mampu menolong dirinya sendiri (mandiri) di bidang kesehatan dan berperan aktif dalam mewujudkan kesehatan masyarakat. Hasil akhir dari suatu aktivitas yang dilakukan makhluk hidup, yang pada umumnya tidak bisa digunakan lagi dalam suatu kegiatan dan terkadang dibuang begitu saja yakni sampah. Pengabdian masyarakat ini diharapkan memberi pengetahuan tentang perilaku hidup bersih sehat penduduk terhadap cara pengelolaan sampah rumah tangga di kelurahan Kebun Bunga kecamatan Sukarami Palembang. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif yang bertujuan untuk menggambarkan perilaku warga Kebun Bunga terhadap upaya pengelolaan sampah rumah tangga dan penyuluhan yang bertujuan meningkatkan pemahaman serta kesadaran masyarakat tentang Perilaku Hidup Bersih dan Sehat (PHBS) cara meningkatkan pemanfaatan sampah. Dari pengabdian masyarakat dalam upaya pengelolaan sampah rumah tangga dapat disimpulkan sebagian besar masyarakat di pemukiman penduduk Kelurahan Kebun Bunga Kecamatan Sukarami Palembang sudah menerapkan konsep 3R (Reduce, Reuse, and Recycling).

Abstract

Counseling about the Benefits of Averrhoa bilimbi Linn. as a Health Plant in Kebun Bunga Sub-district, Sukarami District, Palembang Averrhoa blimbi Linn. contains tannins, flavonoids, alkaloids, saponins, potassium, citric acid, and glycosides. These compounds can be used to increase the body's immunity to avoid disease. This community service aims to provide understanding to the community in improving public health independently. Residents can find out the benefits of Averrhoa blimbi Linn. as a healthy plant. This community service activity uses a participatory method. Extension to the community affects the ability and behavior of the community. It increased the community's active role in utilizing the starfruit plant for health so that it has an impact on improving public health.
