Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk membantu guru-guru sekolah mitra, yaitu TK Salsa dan TK Indah Mandiri, di Desa Cinta Rakyat Kecamatan Percut Sei Tuan Kabupaten Deli Serdang, dalam memahami kurikulum 2013, sehingga guru dapat membuat rencana pembelajaran, proses pembelajaran, dan penilaian pembelajaran sesuai dengan kurikulum 2013 yang telah dicanangkan oleh pemerintah. Materi yang disampaikan dalam kegiatan pelatihan kurikulum 2013 ini yaitu karakteristik, tujuan, landasan pengembangan kurikulum 2013 pendidikan anak usia dini, standar tingkat pencapaian perkembangan anak (STPPA), cakupan kriteria minimal setiap perkembangan pada STPPA (nilai agama dan moral, fisik motorik, kognitif, bahasa, sosial-emosional, dan seni), rumusan tentang kompetensi inti dan kompetensi dasar PAUD, serta keterkaitan STPPA, KD, KI, dan Indikator untuk pendidikan anak usia dini. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian dilakukan secara klasikal. Hasil kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah peningkatan pemahaman dan wawasan guru berkaitan dengan pelaksanaan kurikulum 2013 di sekolah mitra.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the self-confidence of 5-6-year-old children through the singing method at TK Methodist Mandala. The subjects of this study are 22 children, consisting of 13 boys and 9 girls. The instruments used in this research include observation, interviews, and documentation. The results indicate that the singing method significantly enhances children's self-confidence. Most of the children showed positive developments in their courage to perform in front of the class, willingness to express their opinions, and enthusiasm to participate in activities. However, there are four children who still exhibit a lack of self-confidence, influenced by internal factors such as fear and inferiority, as well as external factors like the lack of parental involvement and economic conditions.

Abstract

In Sei Belutu Village, Sei Bamban District, Serdang Bedagai Regency, research was conducted to determine the influence of parents on the development of their children's speaking abilities. Descriptive qualitative research was used in this research. In this research, 7 parents and 7 children from Sei Belutu Village, Sei Bamban District, and Serdang Bedagai Regency were research subjects. Research findings come from parent interviews and child observation methodology. According to the findings above, children's speaking abilities are more advanced in the semantics section, and parents play a greater role in the modeling (for example) and teaching (teaching) sections to help children aged 5-6 years develop their speaking skills in Sei Belutu Village.

Abstract

This study aims to identify the teaching approach and methods used by teachers at TK Pembina 1 Medan in developing the social skills of children with Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD), specifically in the B Inovatif class. This research employed a qualitative approach with data collection techniques including interviews, observations, and documentation. The subjects of the study consisted of two teachers and one child with ASD, identified as Z. The results show that the teacher applies a student-centered learning approach, allowing children the freedom to choose activities that align with their interests and comfort. This approach is intended to facilitate the social development of the child by providing a more enjoyable and meaningful learning experience. Additionally, six teaching methods were employed, namely role-playing, cooperative learning, singing with movement, social activities based on real-life experiences, the use of media such as videos, and storytelling. Although some methods, such as role-playing, are still difficult for children with ASD to follow, the teacher adapts these methods to suit the child's needs and abilities. This study reveals that structured and flexible teaching approaches and methods are crucial in helping children with ASD gradually develop their social skills.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh permainan tradisional gowokan terhadap kemampuan sosial emosional anak usia 5–6 tahun di TK Pembina Tanjung Morawa Tahun Ajaran 2024/2025. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain Quasi Experiment bentuk The Equivalent Time Sample Design tanpa kelas kontrol. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari 18 anak kelompok B yang dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan lembar observasi kemampuan sosial emosional yang disusun berdasarkan lima indikator, yaitu sikap toleransi, memahami peraturan, pantang menyerah, bersikap kooperatif, dan sopan santun. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan yang signifikan pada kemampuan sosial emosional anak setelah diberikan perlakuan berupa permainan tradisional gowokan. Pada periode perlakuan pertama, diperoleh rata-rata skor 13,11 (kategori baik), sedangkan pada periode tanpa perlakuan rata-rata hanya 10,22 (kategori tidak baik). Pada perlakuan kedua rata-rata meningkat menjadi 17,83 (kategori sangat baik), sedangkan tanpa perlakuan kedua hanya 13,83 (kategori baik). Hasil uji Wilcoxon menunjukkan bahwa nilai Jhitung < Jtabel sehingga hipotesis diterima, artinya terdapat pengaruh signifikan permainan tradisional gowokan terhadap kemampuan sosial emosional anak usia 5–6 tahun.
