Abstract

Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah pengenalan sains yang sangat rendah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kegiatan bermain pasir berwarna terhadap pengenalan sains anak usia 5-6 tahun di TK KARTIKA 1-17 KEC.BIRU-BIRU. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen.Desain penelitian ini yaitu Quasi Eksperimen Design (penelitian eksperimen semu), dengan bentuk The Equivalen Time Samples Design. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah semua anak TK B TK KARTIKA1-17 yang terdiri dari kelas B1 dengan jumlah 15 anak dan kelas B2 dengan jumlah 12 anak. Tehnik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan pada penilitian ini yaitu teknik purposiverandom sampling.Adapun sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 15 anak. Teknik pengumpulan data yang akan digunakan yaitu observasi terstruktur dengan instrument lembar observasi. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan uji statistik deskriptif dan statistik inferensial, yaitu uji Tes Friedman. Hasil perhitungan untuk observasi pertama diberikan perlakuan ( ) memperoleh nilai rata-rata 5,2, observasi kedua yang tidak diberi perlakuan ( ) memperoleh nilai rata-rata 3,4, observasi ketiga diberikan perlakuan ( ) memperoleh nilai rata-rata 7,6 dan observasi keempat yang yang tidak diberi perlakuan ( ) memperoleh nilai rata-rata 6,2. Dari hasil data tersebut terlihat bahwa pemberian perlkuan bermain pasir memiliki nilai rata-rata lebih tinggi dibandingkan tidak diberi perlakuan. Dari uji hipotesis memperoleh nilai  pada taraf signifikan 0,05 atau 5% yaitu 1208,32 > 7,82 maka nilai rata-rata ( ) signifikan. Dengan demikian penggunaan bermain pasir berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap pengenalan sains anak usia 5-6 tahun di TK Kartika 1-17 kec. Biru-biru.

Abstract

The life of the 21st century presents its own challenges in the world of education, namely how in the learning process students are provided with skills to survive in the global world of the 21st century. The purpose of this study is to describe how well the 2nd century (4C) skills possessed by Early Childhood Education Teacher students are in case-based lectures and team based projects. The approach used in this research is quantitative and the method used is descriptive. The sample in this study were 2nd, 4th, and 6th semester students, totaling 450 students. The data collection technique is through filling out questionnaires about 4C skills which are carried out by self and peer assessment online by students. The results show that students' critical thinking and creativity are in the good category with an average critical thinking score of 83.7 and creativity of 85.4. Meanwhile, the communication (87.4) and cooperation skills (89.7) of students are in the very good category. Case-Method and team-based projects learning can help develop 4C skills as 21st century skills.Keywords: 21st century learning, critical thingking, creativity, communication, collaboration, 4C skills

Abstract

This research aims to investigate the implementation of content differentiation in early childhood education at Medan City Medan Sekolah Penggerak. The method employed is qualitative research, utilizing purposive sampling. Interviews, observations, and documentation were conducted as data collection techniques. Data analysis techniques include data collection, data reduction, data presentation, conclusion drawing, and verification, while for data validity, source triangulation is used. The results showed that PAUD units in Medan City Sekolah Penggerak have implemented content differentiation by adjusting teaching materials based on children's readiness, interests, and learning styles. Teachers utilize various learning media and technology and provide space for children's active participation. Challenges faced by teachers include limited time, children's abilities, facilities, and teachers' skills in creating varied materials. Training, improved facilities, and collaboration between teachers are needed to optimize the implementation of content differentiation.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of storytelling media on the speaking skills of children aged 5-6 years. This study uses an approach with an experimental method (Quasi-Experimental Design) in the form of The Equivalent Time Samples Design. The population in this study were all children aged 5-6 years at TK Karunia for the 2023/2024 academic year. From the data the results of data analysis have an average score of treatment 1 of 2.5, treatment 2 gets an average value of 6.1 while treatment 3 gets an average value of 9.3. Based on data analysis through non-parametric hypothesis testing, the SPSS 25 statistical test value is 0.005. There is a significant influence between the use of storytelling media on the speaking skills of children aged 5-6 years at TK Karunia, Medan Johor District, Academic Year 2022/2023.

Abstract

This research aims to find out the math learning strategies of TK Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal 06 Medan Class B teachers. The results showed that there were many variations of mathematics learning strategies used by teachers in Teratai class, including direct learning strategies, indirect learning strategies, interactive learning strategies, and autonomous learning strategies, but when used in Teratai class teachers were more likely to use indirect learning strategies, while the use of direct learning strategies, interactive learning strategies, and autonomous learning strategies was still not optimal. So in Mawar class, the strategies used by teachers in teaching mathematics are still relatively single, the strategies used include direct learning strategies, indirect learning strategies, and indirect learning strategies. Among these strategies, Mawar class teachers more often use direct learning strategies. Meanwhile, the use of indirect learning strategies and autonomous learning strategies is still less than optimal.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the strategy of a kindergarten principal in improving the quality of education, from a leadership perspective, the role of the principal towards teachers and the management of the principal in the Integrated Islamic Kindergarten for Al-Qur'an Education in Sentang, Kisaran Timur District, Asahan District.The research method used in this study is a qualitative method with a qualitative descriptive approach. There were three subjects in this study, namely one school principal and two teaching teachers in the Integrated Islamic Kindergarten for Al-Quran Education. The data analysis technique used in this study is data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The findings of this study indicate that the strategy of a school principal is seen from three aspects, namely: 1) Principal leadership, the head of the Integrated Islamic Kindergarten for Al-Qur'an Education, becomes a leader by learning to understand and learning to act professionally by dedicating oneself and being loyal to the school. 2) The role of the principal towards teachers in improving quality, the principal refers to improving good communication with teachers, students and school members. Meet the needs of teachers, both in fulfilling teaching and learning facilities and infrastructure. 3) Management of the principal of the school, carrying out the preparation, implementation of a program of school activities that have been designed to achieve school program goals in accordance with the school's vision, mission and goals that have been set.
