Abstract

This study aims to analyze the students' scientific attitude improvement through virtual lab on invertebrates. The method that used was weak experimental design, with two classes of samples (X-7 and X-8) which has a parallel position as class treatment. The instrument that used for data collection was the scientific attitudes scale form of Likert scale. The results showed that the scientific attitudes improved significantly after virtual lab-based learning on invertebrates (sig-2tailed value <α (0.025)). Increased scientific attitude is low (N-Gain X-7 = 0.10, = 0.16 X-8). Virtual lab program is not a substitute for a real lab, but as a complement for learning of the material that is hard to do in a real laboratory, such as the practicum invertebrates.Keywords: invertebrates, virtual lab, scientific attitudes

Abstract

Research purpose to determine the content validity and reliability of agreement among experts in assessing the Technological Pedagogical and Content Knowledge on Introduction to the school field (PLP) Guidebook. The research method uses a development model. TPACK based handbook tested by 3 experts. Validity analysis was carried out using Aiken's V analysis and Reliability using Interclass Consistency. The results of the study prove that the manual with  v value of 0.95 is declared valid content with high criteria and an ICC value of 0.517 is declared an expert in assessing. The conclusion of this research is that the content is valid and the experts are appropriate in conducting the assessment. Suggestions for the TPACK based PLP guidebook can be used as guidelines for implementing PLP for lecturers, tutors and students.

Abstract

The life of the 21st century presents its own challenges in the world of education, namely how in the learning process students are provided with skills to survive in the global world of the 21st century. The purpose of this study is to describe how well the 2nd century (4C) skills possessed by Early Childhood Education Teacher students are in case-based lectures and team based projects. The approach used in this research is quantitative and the method used is descriptive. The sample in this study were 2nd, 4th, and 6th semester students, totaling 450 students. The data collection technique is through filling out questionnaires about 4C skills which are carried out by self and peer assessment online by students. The results show that students' critical thinking and creativity are in the good category with an average critical thinking score of 83.7 and creativity of 85.4. Meanwhile, the communication (87.4) and cooperation skills (89.7) of students are in the very good category. Case-Method and team-based projects learning can help develop 4C skills as 21st century skills.Keywords: 21st century learning, critical thingking, creativity, communication, collaboration, 4C skills

Abstract

Early age is an important time for the development of one's creativity. Creativity is necessary in the development of children because it will affect the work of the right brain and left brain. Creativity is a necessity in the present and also in the future. Creativity is needed to pick up the century of competition because developing individual creativity can produce innovative work or something new that is needed by the times. Family is the first and foremost teacher in child development. In educating children to grow into a creative person parents should accompany children in the growth period.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the level of writing skills of children aged 5-6 years at the stage of crossing out, linear repetition/tracing horizontal writing, writing short writing in learning using the BCCT (Beyond Center and Circle Time) model at TK Negeri Pembina Tanjung Morawa in the 2023/2024 academic year. This study used descriptive qualitative research. This study was conducted with 9 children aged 5-6 years old at TK Negeri Pembina Tanjung Morawa. The data in this study started from data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study showed that the stages of children's writing skills in learning with the BCCT (Beyond Center and Circle Time) model were at the stages of crossing out, linear repetition, random writing, and writing names. While the other two showed the results of writing skills in learning with the BCCT (Beyond Center and Circle Time) model at the stages of crossing out, linear repetition, random writing.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh media Magic Box terhadap kemampuan mengenal lambang bilangan pada anak usia 4-5 tahun di TK Al-Fajri Tanjung Balai Tahun Ajaran 2025/2026. Latar belakang penelitian ini didasarkan pada masih rendahnya kemampuan anak dalam mengenal dan membedakan lambang bilangan, serta terbatasnya variasi media pembelajaran yang digunakan guru. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen kuantitatif dengan desain One Group Pre-test-Post-test Design dan model Equivalent Time Series Design. Subjek penelitian berjumlah 17 anak kelompok A. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi menggunakan instrumen yang mencakup tiga indikator, yaitu: (1) memahami lambang bilangan, (2) menghubungkan konsep dengan lambang bilangan, dan (3) memasangkan lambang bilangan dengan benda-benda. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test dengan bantuan program SPSS 26. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kemampuan anak setelah diberikan perlakuan menggunakan media Magic Box. Nilai rata-rata pretest adalah 16,71, sedangkan nilai rata-rata posttest meningkat menjadi 24,06. Hasil uji Wilcoxon diperoleh nilai signifikansi (p-value) < 0,05 sehingga H₀ ditolak dan Hₐ diterima. Hal ini membuktikan bahwa media Magic Box berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kemampuan mengenal lambang bilangan pada anak usia 4-5 tahun.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk perbedaan kreativitas anak usia 5-6 tahun dalam kegiatan membuat kolase ampas kelapa di TK Gudiseju Batang Kuis. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian eksperimen pre-experimental dengan pendekatan one goup pretest-posttest design. Sampel dalam penelitian ini yaitu seluruh peserta didik di kelas B berjumlah 15 orang, adapun teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan Sampel Jenuh (Sensus). Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan menggunakan lembar observasi kemampuan kreativitas anak. Analisis statistik dalam pengujian hipotesis ini menggunakan uji Wilcoxon Signed-rank test. Hasil pada penelitian menunjukkan terjadi peningkatan yang signifikan dari hasil pretest menunjukkan nilai pada kategori Kurang (K) yaitu sebesar (80%) dengan rata-rata sebesar 14,87 dan mengalami peningkatan pada hasil posttest menjadi kategori Baik (B) sebesar (95%%) dengan nilai rata-rata sebesar 36,67. Hasil analisis data menggunakan uji Wilcoxon Signed-rank test menujukkan nilai Asymp. Sig. (2 tailed) adalah 0,001, yang berarti lebih kecil dari taraf signifikansi α = 0,05. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data diatas dapat diketahui bahwa hipotesis nol (H0) ditolak dan hipotesis alternatif (Ha) diterima. Oleh karena itu, dapat disimpukan bahwa terdapat perbedaan kemampuan kreativitas anak 5- 6 tahun melalui kegiatan membuat kolase ampas kelapa di TK Gudiseju Batang Kuis secara signifikan.

Abstract

Farhanny khair daycare and preschool is a daycare place for children, As for the rest of daycare, this place is a home typology dwelling that is used as a daycare with additional activities as a learning / child play for the age of 2-5. In the condition of typology home buildings that are made into daycare and study and play, According to observation of some areas of unmaximized space meets the needs of motion space in children. Although this daycare location has space limitations but managers and teachers maximized the teaching system and management as well as comfort, hygiene, The safety of this daycare place is fine. That potential makes Farhany khair daycare and preschool entrusted parents to daycare while parents worked from 2018 to today. Based on the results of the situation analysis done by a team a proposer, So a team a proposer is trying to minimize the problems that are happening in child space and maximize the potentials that farhany khaanir daycare and preschool to make this daycare even better, and it can be beneficial for teachers and parents. The solution offered by a team a proposer is knowledge in the design of space within the scope of interior design according to the needs of young children so that existing space can be maximized into a playspace and study for children of daycare.In addition to knowledge of interior design the follower team also makes an innovation product a multifunctional shelf of children to be used by daycare as a means of supporting activity in that place
