Abstract

Competency of primary school teachers in teaching low SBK can not increase the creativity of students. When viewed from the musical wealth of Riau which are many and varied, lessons should SBK can be done well. It is not so considered by the art educators and is the background for the model-based development of student creativity Riau music performed by R & D through the stages of survey, design models, testing, and validation. The use of this model can enhance students' creativity as the ability to develop rhythm, choose the color of the instrument, tool making, composing music, and composing music grooves. This model also helps the teacher in the learning process and simultaneously lift Riau music. SBK learning can enhance students' creativity and preserve the values of social, educational, religious, and human values contained in Riau music, if teachers can perform well. Instead of learning SBK who have not yet developed the art of Riau tradition as a foundation for creative, cultural roots will gradually disappear.

Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to determine is a correlation between scouting skills and students discipline of SD IT Insan Utama 2 Pekanbaru. Type of the research was quantitative research with a correlational approach. Populations used in this study were 81 scout students. Samples were selected by using saturated sampling techniques. Instruments used in this study were scouting skills questionnaires and student discipline questionnaires. Data were analyzed by using statistical analysis techniques. Based on the results of the data, it can be seen that the scouting skills were in a fairly good category with a percentage of 66.67% and the students discipline were in a fairly good category with 66.67%. Based on the results of the hypothesis testing, it was found that the correlation between scouting skills and students discipline was 0.398 of correlation value. Based on the results of significant calculations obtained t-count value 3.853 > t-table 1.990, then Ho was rejected and Ha was accepted. It means that there is a significant correlation between scouting skills and students discipline of SD IT Insan Utama 2 Pekanbaru. Then, based on the test results of the determinant coefficient, it was found that there is an influence of the contribution between variables at 15.8%. This means that there is a contribution of scouting skills of 15.8% to student discipline, while 84.2% is influenced by other factors not examined in this study.Key Words: Scouting Skills, Students Discipline

Abstract

Abstract: This research is motivated as long as the researchers carry out practical teaching activities in the field (PPL) in one of the elementary schools in Pekanbaru, namely SD Muhammadiyah 6 Pekanbaru, especially in the practice class, which is the VA class of 24 students, almost as much as 55% of students in the class according to the observations of the researchers. very low and it is caused by the ability they have that has disrupted the learning process. This study aims to find out and analyze what are the indicators that influence student motivation in grade V in elementary school in the cluster 1 Payung Sekaki district, Pekanbaru. This type of research uses descriptive quantitative methods, the instrument used in this study uses a questionnaire (questionnaire). The population in this study was grade V students, amounting to 255 students with a sample of 72 students. Data collection was carried out using a questionnaire, based on the results of the processed data obtained 85,654% influenced by the goal, 82,078% influenced by changes in energy, 81,272% influenced by feeling / feeling. The conclusion of this study according to the results of the acquisition of the percentage of indicators that most influence on student motivation is the goal indicator with 85.654%. The more valuable the goal is for the individual the stronger the motivation. Key Words: Analysis, Motivation and Learning

Abstract

Abstract : This research was motivated by the low results of fifth grade students learn math SDN 009 Bintan Timur, seen from the minimum completeness criteria (KKM) set the school is 75. Of the 25 students in a class, a total of 7 students (28%) reached KKM and 18 students (72%) who did not reach KKM with an average grade of 64.40. The purpose of this study was to improve mathematics learning outcomes SDN 009 Bintan Timur through the application of learning strategies of FIRE-UP. FIRE-UP learning strategy is a strategy that focuses on the child's thinking skills development efforts to process the information useful. This study was conducted in May 2018 were carried out in the first semester of 2017/2018. Taken the form of research is classroom action research (PTK). The study consisted of two cycles consisting of four meetings and two meetings of material daily tests. Mathematics learning outcome can be seen from the average on the basis of student's score is 64.40 with classical completeness 28% and then increased the daily test I with an average of 73.80 with classical completeness 48% with a percentage increase of 14.59% %. Then in the second daily test, the average test results increased to 83.40 with classical completeness 100% with a percentage increase of 29.50%. Activities of teachers in the first cycle of the first meeting of 63.63% and increased in the second meeting be 70.45%. At the first meeting of the second cycle of activity was up becoming 79.54% and at the last meeting be 81.81%, with both categories. Activity of students in the first cycle of the first meetings of 59,09% and increased in the second meeting be 68,18%. In the first meeting of the activity of students in the second cycle increased to 77,27 % and in the last encounter to be 79,54 % with good category.Keywords: FIRE-UP Learning Strategies, Mathematic learning result

Abstract

Abstract: Local wisdom is a custom that is firmly held and maintained by the local community and certain tribes. Culture entering the community can change the values that exist in the local community. The purpose of this study was to establish the local wisdom of the Rimba Puaka of the Talang Mamak tribe. The type of research used in this study are ethnographic research methods incorporated into qualitative research. Data collection methods used are observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis technique used is data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of this study indicate that the local wisdom of Rimba Puaka is still maintained and preserved by the Talang tribe. Local Wisdom Rimba Puaka is a forest sacred by the community. This is apparent from the results of interviews conducted by researchers. Interviews were conducted with several informants from the indigenous Talang Mamak tribe.Key Words: Local Wisdom; Jungle Puaka, Talang Mamak Tribe Community

Abstract

Reading comprehension is a substantial skill in elementary school. If childrenhave the skill to read, facing other lesson would be easy. This study employs aquantitative descriptive method that aims at explaining numbers in words. Theresult showed that the average of students' reading skill after being exposed tographic organizer-based reading comprehension teaching materials indetermining the basic thoughts was of 63.75, and students' skill in explaininginformation was 71.04. At this stage, their skill was considered good enough, sothat an improvement to design teaching materials and trainings should befacilitated for the teachers.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low writing skills of fifth-grade students of SD Negeri 187 Pekanbaru. The low writing skills are caused by the difficulty of writing descriptions that are in accordance with the Indonesian writing rules. In addition, they are less creative in developing ideas that are in their minds. The purpose of this study was to determine the differences and the effect of writing essay skills between students who learned using guided writing strategies with students who study conventionally. This research is a quasi-experimental research subject with class V students of SD Negeri 187 Pekanbaru. The results showed that there was an effect of guided writing strategy to improve the essay writing skills of the fifth-grade students of SD Negeri 187 Pekanbaru. It can be seen from the increase in description essay writing skills from the average initial test 68.82 to 76.82 in the final test with an average increase of 0.27 low categories. While the control class had an initial increase in the initial test of 69.26 to 70.51 in the final test with an average increase of 0.12 in the low category. The guided writing strategy has an influence with a very strong level of relationship with a coefficient of 0.838 and a coefficient of determination of 70.22%, in other words, a guided writing strategy can improve students' essay writing skills.

Abstract

Besar harapan bagi masyarakat Kuok khususnya di Pulau Belimbing yang menjadi tempat pelestarian budaya yang sering dikunjungi oleh wisatawan lokal dan wisatawan mancanegara menjadi pendorong masyarakat dalam mendidik anak-anak belajar kesenian mereka sebagai salah satu upaya pelestarian dan penanaman nilai kearifan lokal. Data diperoleh dari wawancara dan observasi lapangan di kenagarian kuok. Hasil diperoleh bahwa saat sekarang ada tiga sanggar seni masyarakat dan beberapa sanggar seni yang ada di sekolah formal berada di kegiatan ekstrakurikuler di tingkat SD, SMP, MAN dan SMK. Kesenian yang dipelajari berupa musik calempong, silek bungo, tari pasombahan, sandiwara, komposis musik tradisional dan garapan tari tradisional.  Kesenian berkembang di sanggar dan sekolah tersebut sering ditampilkan pada ajang wisata seperti kunjungan tamu di rumah lontiok, penyambutan tamu di kegiatan kedinasan dan acara masyarakat dan perlombaan pada festival yang dilaksanakan oleh dinas pariwisata dan dinas pendidikan.

Abstract

The competition that always arises in the business world encourages the emergence of new thoughts that can build products or services that provide more value to customers. This study aims to examine the effect of the organizational image, pricing, service quality on student satisfaction, the sample in this study were 193 students. Path analysis is used to test the relationship between variables in the form of causality. The results of the study concluded that there were significant effects of organizational image variables, pricing, and service quality simultaneously on student satisfaction. However, partial testing shows that the only service has a significant effect on student satisfaction. The results of this study should be a reference for researchers who will conduct further research. In addition, it is also necessary to learn more about other independent and bound variables to examine.
