Abstract

Terdapat beberapa kesalahan mahasiswa saat mengerjakan soal barisan bilangan real, sehingga penelitian ini dilakukan bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemampuan pemecahan masalah mahasiswa dalam menyelesaikan soal barisan bilangan real pada matakuliah analisis real. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini ex post facto yaitu penelitian yang dilakukan untuk meneliti peristiwa setelah suatu kejadian itu terjadi dan kemudian merunut kebelakang untuk mengetahui factor-faktor yang dapat menimbulkan kejadian tersebut. Subjek sasaran dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa semester V Pendidikan matematika FKIP UNIB yang mengambil matakuliah analisis real TA 2021/2022 yang berjumlah 67 orang. Instrument penelitian yang digunakan adalah lembar tes dan lembar acuan analisisn kemampuan pemecahan masalah menurut tahapan polya yang terdiri dari: P1 memahami masalah; P2 Merencanakan Penyelesaian; P3 melaksanakan rencana; P4 memeriksa Kembali. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: Nilai rata-rata hasil kemampuan pemecahan masalah mahasiswa pada materi barisan bilangan real 88,46 dan kualifikasi sangat baik. Nilai rata-rata KPM tiap tahapan polya adalah: P1=100; P2=87,56; P3=69,65; P4= 61,19 Artinya secara umum mahasiswa mampu memahami dan merencanakan soal dengan kualifikasi sangat baik, pada tahap melaksanakan rencana termassuk kualifikasi baik, namun tahap memeriksa kembali termasuk kualifikasi cukup.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh pendekatan STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) terhadap berpikir kreatif siswa SMK Negeri 1 Lebong melalui materi program Linear GeoGebra. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian quasi eksperimen. Dalam penelitian kualitatif, peneliti dianggap sebagai alat kunci. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah soal-soal tentang keterampilan berpikir kreatif sebanyak 5 soal berbentuk esai. Alat yang digunakan adalah pretest dan posttest, dan obyek penelitian adalah kelas eksperimen, Kelas X Multimedia 2 dan kelas eksperimen, Kelas X Multimedia 2 Hasil diskusi dan analisis data menunjukkan bahwa berpikir kreatif nilai siswa pada pretest (pretest) kelas eksperimen rendah dengan rata-rata 5,68, rata-rata kelas kontrol 52,80 pada kelas bawah, dan kelas eksperimen posttest siswa (ujian akhir) kemampuan berpikir kreatif Pada tingkat menengah rata-rata 86,36, dan kelas kontrol juga berada pada tingkat menengah, dengan rata-rata 74,9. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai rata-rata kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol berpengaruh signifikan dengan pendekatan STEM terhadap berpikir kreatif siswa yang menggunakan bahan ajar GeoGebra Linier di SMK Negeri 1 Lebong.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the ability of students' understanding of mathematical concepts and in solving mathematical problems is still relatively low. The type of research used is a quasi experiment (quasi experiment). This research was conducted at SMP Negeri 10 Bengkulu City with a population of class VIII students totaling 201 students. The research sample was students in class VIII.C as the control class which consisted of 28 students and class VIII.B as the experimental class which consisted of 28 students who were taken based on simple random sampling technique. The data processing used is the MANOVA (Multivariate Analysis of Variance) test. The results of the study can be concluded that: 1) There is a significant influence by using the Problem Based Learning learning model on students' conceptual understanding abilities of 58%. 2) There is a significant effect by using the Problem Based Learning learning model on students' mathematical problem solving abilities of 57.7%. 3) There is a significant effect using the Problem Based Learning learning model on students' conceptual comprehension skills and students' mathematical problem solving abilities of 13.3%, 4) Students' problem solving abilities are higher after applying the Problem Based Learning (PBL) Learning Model with an average the average ability to understand the concept of the experimental class: 89.43 and the control class: 72.43, 5) The ability to solve problems taught with the Problem Based Learning model is higher than that taught conventionally. The average problem solving ability of the experimental class was 81.36 and that of the control class was 71.54

Abstract

Computational thinking merupakan cara berpikir dalam menyelesaikan suatu persoalan secara komputasi. Salah satu kompetisi yang melibatkan kemampuan computational thinking di dalamnya adalah bebras challenge. Namun sosialisasi tentang computational thinking dan bebras challenge masih terbatas sehingga belum sampai ke guru-guru di kabupaten Seluma provinsi Bengkulu. Tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah untuk memberikan pengetahuan dan penguatan kepada guru-guru di Kabupaten Seluma tentang bebras challenge sehingga dapat meningkatkan computational thinking yang dimilikinya. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan berupa: (1) pemberian pretest; (2) penyampaian materi bebras challenge dan computational thinking; (3) kegiatan diskusi dan tanya jawab; (4) pemberian postest. Dari pelaksanaan kegiatan diperoleh bahwa peserta serius dan antusias mengikuti seluruh rangkaian kegiatan. Dari hasil pretest dan posttest memiliki peningkatan sebesar 23%.

Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran Matematika dengan menerapkan pendekatan Realistics Mathematics Education melalui model APOS berbantuan Geogebra. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas. Subjek penelitian yaitu siswa kelas XI MIA SMA Negeri 9 Kaur semester ganjil tahun ajaran 2022/2023.Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan lembar observasi aktivitas self checklist dan tes hasil belajar siswa. Penelitian Tindakan Kelas ini dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus yang merujuk pada Suharsimi dan Arikunto dengan melalui empat tahapan, yaitu perencanaan (plan), tindakan (action), pengamatan (observe), dan refleksi (reflect). Baik Siklus I ataupun II, keduanya dilaksanakan dengan masing-masing tiga pertemuan dan satu tes siklus. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa peningkatan aktivitas belajar dapat dilihat dari rata-rata skor pada lembar observasi self checklist aktivitas belajar siswa siklus I sampai siklus II secara berturut-turut: 20,33 (kreteria cukup Aktif); 29,66 (kreteria Aktif). Peningkatan hasil belajar siswa dapat dilihat dari nilai rata-rata tes hasil belajar dan latihan siswa siklus I sampai siklus II yaitu 65,87; 80 dengan persentase ketuntasan belajar klasikal dari siklus I sampai siklus II yaitu 47%; 82%. Hal ini menunjukan bahwa adanya peningkatan aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa dilihat dari siklus I dan Siklus II.Kata kunci: Hasil Belajar; Model APOS; Pendekatan Realistics Mathematics Education  (RME)Abstract  This study aims to improve the activities and student learning outcomes in Mathematics learning by applying the Realistics Mathematics Education approach through the Geogebra-assisted APOS model. This type of research is Classroom Action Research. The research subjects were class XI MIA SMA Negeri 9 Kaur even semester academic year 2022/2023. Data collection was carried out using observation sheets for self checklist activities and student learning outcomes tests. This Classroom Action Research was carried out in two cycles referring to Suharsimi and Arikunto by going through four stages, namely planning (plan), action (action), observation (observe), and reflection (reflect). Either Cycle I or II, both carried out with three meetings each and one cycle test. The results showed that the increase in learning activity could be seen from the average score on the self-checklist observation sheet of student learning activities cycle I to cycle II respectively: 20.33 (quite active criterion); 29.66 (Active criteria). Improved student learning outcomes can be seen from the average score of student learning outcomes and training tests cycle I to cycle II, namely 65.87; 80 with the percentage of classical learning completeness from cycle I to cycle II, namely 47%; 82%. This shows that there is an increase in activity and student learning outcomes seen from Cycle I and Cycle II.Keywords: Learning outcomes; APOS Model; Realistics Mathematics Education  (RME) approach

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the problem-based learning (PBL) model on students' creative thinking abilities and self-efficacy. The type of research used is quasi-experimental. This research was conducted at senior high school Sukakarya Musi Rawas with a population of all class X students totaling 114 students. The sample was selected by simple random sampling technique with class X MIA 1 as the experimental class and class X MIA 3 as the control class with 30 students each. Data collection methods are observation, tests, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis used multivariate statistical tests analysis of variance. The results of the study show that: there is a significant effect of using the PBL model on students' creative thinking abilities. There is a significant influence of students' Self-Efficacy abilities using the PBL model on students' mathematical problem-solving abilities

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the Search, Solve, Create and Share (SSCS) model on Problem Solving and creative thinking skills. This type of research is a quasi-experiment. The population of this study were all students of class XI MIA SMA Negeri 4 Kaur. The instrument of this research is a test of mathematical problem-solving ability and mathematical creative thinking ability. The results showed that there were: (1) the linear effect of initial ability covariates on students' problem-solving abilities with an effect of 7.9%. (2) the linear effect of initial ability covariates on students' mathematical creative thinking abilities with an effect of 42.9%. (3) the linear effect of initial ability covariates on students' mathematical creative thinking abilities with an effect of 42.9%. (4) the effect of using the SSCS learning model on students' problem-solving abilities by 7.7%. (5) the achievement of problem-solving abilities of class XI MIA SMAN 4 Kaur students who were taught using the SSCS learning model was higher than classes taught by conventional learning models. (6) the achievement of creative thinking abilities of class XI MIA SMAN 4 Kaur who were taught using the learning model SSCS is higher than classes taught by conventional learning models

Abstract

This study aims to determine the Effectiveness of the Treffinger Learning Model in Improving the Ability to Understand Mathematical Concepts and Critical Thinking Skills of SMA Negeri 2 Bengkulu City Students in the even semester of the 2022/2023 academic year with the research population being all students of class XI, totaling 1,284 students and a research sample of 72 students consisting of 2 classes namely class XI MIPA U as the experimental class and class XI MIPA A as the control class. The research instrument is a test of understanding mathematical concepts and critical thinking skills. Data analysis was performed using the multivariate analysis of covariance (MANCOVA) test. The results showed that there was an influence of the Treffinger learning model on understanding mathematical concepts and critical thinking skills together at 78.7%. Furthermore, the effect of the Treffinger learning model on understanding mathematical concepts is 72.3% and the influence of the Treffinger learning model on critical thinking skills is 78.6%. The average score of students in the class taught by the Treffinger learning model is higher than that of students taught by using the Scientific learning model. The average understanding of mathematical concepts in the experimental class was 80.667 and the control class was 62.5. The average critical thinking ability in the experimental class was 78.13 and in the control class was 58.76

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the Problem Based Learning Approach assisted by Augmented Reality on the Ability to Solve Mathematical Problems at SMK Negeri 1 Lebong. This type of research was a Quasi Experiment which was carried out at Lebong 1 State Vocational School in class X for the 2022/2023 Academic Year with the research population being all of class X, totaling 88 people. Samples were taken by random sampling technique for class X Multimedia 1, totaling 22 people as the experimental class and X Multimedia 2, totaling 20 people as the control class. Data collection instruments were carried out through tests with data analysis techniques using MANOVA. The results showed that there were: (1) The effect of the Problem Based Learning approach with the help of Augmented Reality on the ability to solve mathematical problems. (1) The effect of the Augmented Reality Problem Based Learning approach on problem solving ability is 58.6%. (2) The achievement of mathematical problem-solving skills of class X Multimedia 1 students taught by AR-assisted PBL approach is higher than the class taught by conventional learning models
