Abstract

PT. Bank Aceh, Medan Branch, undergoes the decrease in its clients’ loyalty which indicated by the increase in non-active clients in the period of 2011-2015. The objective of this research was to find out and analyze the influence of Service Quality on Clients’ satisfaction and its effect on their loyalty at PT. Bank Aceh, Medan Branch. The data were gathered by conducting descriptive quantitative survey and distributing questionnaires to 94 respondents and analyzed by using path analysis. The result of the research showed that, simultaneously, tangibles, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, and empathy had positive and significant influence on clients’ loyalty. Partially, tangibles had positive and significant influence on clients’ loyalty, reliability had positive and significant influence on clients’ loyalty, responsiveness had positive and significant influence on clients’ loyalty, assurance did not have any positive and significant influence on clients’ loyalty, and empathy had positive and significant influence on clients’ loyalty at PT. Bank Aceh, Medan Branch. Clients’ satisfaction had positive and significant influence on clients’ loyalty at PT. Bank Aceh, Medan Branch. Tangibles, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, and empathy directly and indirectly had positive influence on clients’ loyalty through clients’ satisfaction at PT. Bank Aceh, Medan Branch

Abstract

The utilization of biogas produced from the liquid left over from palm oil mill enffluent (POME) needs to be increased, so far the use of biogas from POME for large-scale is new for the purpose of fueling power plant generators (PLTBg). Another increase in the use of biogas is among others as fuel for household-scale gas burner. The trial was carried out by utilizing biogas from the PLTBg purification unit and modifying commercial gas burner. Based on the results of trials, the flame produced is blue and can be used for cooking as the color of the fire from a stove that uses commercial gas. These results prove that apart from being PLTBg fuel, biogas from POME can be used as fuel for domestic purposes and possibly as fuel for other purposes.

Abstract

The trend of refugee arrivals in Indonesia has become a pressing issue due to global conflicts, wars, and human rights violations. Accurate forecasting of these arrivals is crucial for effective planning and resource allocation by governmental and humanitarian organizations. This study aims to forecast refugee arrivals in Indonesia using exponential smoothing models, providing reliable predictions to support evidence-based decision-making and strategic policy planning. The dataset used in this research was obtained from the official UNHCR Indonesia repository, covering the period from April 2020 to July 2023. An exponential smoothing framework was employed, incorporating both single-parameter and two-parameter (Holt’s) models. The smoothing constants were optimized at α = 1.00 and β = 0.1237509, representing the level (Ft) and trend (Lt) components, respectively. A quantitative evaluation using key error metrics showed that both single-parameter and two-parameter (Holt’s) models captured data patterns accurately. The two-parameter model outperformed the single-parameter model (MAPE = 0.66, MAE = 84.57, RMSE = 132.63) and projected arrivals of 12.005, 11.913, and 11.821 for the next three periods. These results indicate that Holt’s model effectively represents the temporal dynamics of refugee inflows and provides a data-driven framework to support evidence-based refugee management and strategic policy planning in Indonesia.
