Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan upaya pengembangan Model Output Statistics (MOS) yang akan digunakan sebagai alat kalibrasi prakiraan cuaca jangka pendek. Informasi mengenai prakiraan cuaca yang akurat diharapkan dapat meminimalkan risiko kecelakaan yang disebabkan oleh cuaca, khususnya dalam bidang transportasi udara dan laut. Metode yang akan dikembangkan mencakup beberapa stasiun pengamatan cuaca di Indonesia. MOS merupakan sebuah metode berbasis regresi yang mengoptimalkan hubungan antara observasi cuaca dan luaran model Numerical Weather Predictor (NWP). Beberapa masalah yang muncul kaitannya dengan MOS adalah; mereduksi dimensi luaran NWP, mendapatkan variabel prediktor yang mampu menjelaskan variabilitas variabel respon, dan menentukan metode statistik yang sesuai dengan karakteristik data, sehingga dapat menggambarkan hubungan antara variabel respon dan variabel prediktor. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mendapatkan pemodelan MOS yang sesuai untuk variabel respon suhu maksimum, suhu minimum, dan kelembapan udara. Metode regresi yang digunakan adalah Principal Component Regression (PCR), Partial Least Square Regression (PLSR), dan ridge regression. Selanjutnya, model MOS yang terbentuk divalidasi dengan kriteria Root Mean Square Error (RMSE) dan Percentage Improval (IM%). MOS mampu mengoreksi bias prakiraan NWP hingga lebih dari 50%. Berdasarkan RMSE terkecil pada penelitian ini, suhu maksimum lebih akurat diprakirakan menggunakan model PLSR, sementara suhu minimum dan kelembapan udara lebih akurat diprakirakan menggunakan ridge regression.Kata Kunci: cuaca, MOS, NWP.

Abstract

Pemanfaatan data sebagai alat untuk memahami kondisi lingkungan dan kesehatan di wilayah merupakan hal yang harus dikembangkan di era informasi saat ini. Pengetahuan mengenai pengolahan data juga perlu dikembangkan oleh semua kalangan. Sebagai salah satu sekolah negeri yang terletak di Mojolaban, Sukoharjo, guru dan siswa SMPN 1 Mojolaban merupakan bagian dari masyarakat yang memerlukan pengetahuan tentang analisis dan visualisasi data. Profil kesehatan Kabupaten Sukoharjo yang diterbitkan oleh Dinas Kesehatan merupakan salah satu sumber informasi kesehatan yang dari tahun ke tahun dapat diakses oleh publik. Visualisasi data merupakan salah satu metode penyampaian informasi yang dipelajari dalam statistika. Pelatihan Excel yang diberikan bertujuan untuk memberikan pemahaman terkait penerapan metode statistika dengan Excel serta visualisasinya agar masyarakat dapat lebih memahami tentang kondisi kesehatan di wilayah Kabupaten Sukoharjo. Materi yang dibahas meliputi pengorganisasian data, statistik deskriptif, analisis regresi, pivot, pengenalan chart dan pembuatan dasbor. Hasil dari pelatihan yang diberikan, peserta pelatihan mampu membuat dasbor berisikan diagram yang menampilkan kondisi kesehatan dasar di Sukoharjo.

Abstract

Penyakit layu bakteri yang disebabkan oleh Ralstonia solanacearum merupakan salah satu penyakit penting pada tanaman eukaliptus (Eucalyptus pellita) di Indonesia. Salah satu pendekatan teknik pengendalian adalah melalui pemanfaatan bakteri endofit dan fungi mikoriza arbuskula (FMA). Penelitian ini ditujukan untuk mengevaluasi keefektifan bakteri endofit dan FMA dalam menekan perkembangan penyakit layu bakteri. Terdapat sepuluh kombinasi bakteri endofit dan FMA yang di-ujikan pada bibit eukaliptus berumur satu bulan. Inokulasi R. solanacearum secara buatan dilakukan tiga bulan setelah introduksi bakteri endofit dan FMA. Percobaan dilakukan di ruang growth chamber. Peubah pengamatan meliputi periode inkubasi, insidensi penyakit, laju penyakit, agresivitas kolonisasi bakteri dengan mengamati cairan bakteri (ooze) R. solanacearum pada bibit eukaliptus, pengukuran aktivitas phenylalanine ammonia lyase (PAL), dan total fenol. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan B5F1 (Paenibacillus polymyxa dan Glomus mosseae) memiliki kemampuan penekanan tertinggi terhadap perkembangan penyakit layu bakteri pada bibit eukaliptus, yaitu sebesar 100%. Perlakuan B5F1 menunjukkan periode inkubasi R. solanacearum lebih lama, persentase insidensi penyakit paling rendah, laju infeksi penyakit rendah, dan penghambatan agresivitas kolonisasi R. solanacearum pada eukaliptus. Sementara perlakuan B4F1 (Serratia marcescens dan G. mosseae) mampu meningkatkan aktivitas PAL dan total fenol tertinggi dibandingkan perlakuan lainnya. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini, perlakuan B5F1 dan B4F1 berpotensi mengendalikan penyakit layu bakteri pada tanaman eukaliptus.

Abstract

Application of Titonia Compost and Young Coconut Coir Liquid Waste to Increase Growth and Production of Tomato (Lycopersicum esculentum Mill.) This research was conducted at the Experimental Garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Pasir Pengaraian, Rokan Hulu Regency. The time of this research will be carried out for three months starting from September 2022 to November 2022. The purpose of this research is to determine the main and interaction effect of titonia compost and young coconut coir liquid waste in increasing the growth of stevia plants in a sustainable manner. This study used a factorial completely randomized design (CRD) consisting of two factors. The first factor was titonia compost (T) consisting of 4 levels namely 0, 0.5 kg/plot, 1 kg/plot, 1.5 kg/plot and the second factor was young coconut coir liquid waste (S) consisting of 4 levels namely 0.100 ml/plant, 200 ml/plant, 300 ml/plant to obtain 16 treatment combinations with 3 replications. The parameters observed were harvesting age, number of branches, number of leaves, fresh weight of leaves and dry weight of leaves. The data were analyzed statistically and followed by the Honest Significant Difference Test (SJD) at the 5% level. The results showed that the interaction of Titonia Compost and Young Coconut Coir Liquid Waste was significant for plant height, age of flowering and fruit weight of the plants, and did not give a real response to, harvesting age, number of fruit planted, fruit weight per fruit. The best treatment was found in the combination of Titonia Compost 1.5 kg/plot and Young Coconut Coir Liquid Waste 300 ml/Tan (T3S3). The main effect of titonia compost was significant on all observed parameters with the best treatment dose of 1.5 kg/plot. Abstract

The utilization of biogas produced from the liquid left over from palm oil mill enffluent (POME) needs to be increased, so far the use of biogas from POME for large-scale is new for the purpose of fueling power plant generators (PLTBg). Another increase in the use of biogas is among others as fuel for household-scale gas burner. The trial was carried out by utilizing biogas from the PLTBg purification unit and modifying commercial gas burner. Based on the results of trials, the flame produced is blue and can be used for cooking as the color of the fire from a stove that uses commercial gas. These results prove that apart from being PLTBg fuel, biogas from POME can be used as fuel for domestic purposes and possibly as fuel for other purposes.

Abstract

Penelitian ini berjudul Eksplorasi dan Karakterisasi Plasma Nutfah Tanaman Manggis (Garcinia mangostana L.) bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat keragaman dan karakteristik dari morfologi tanaman manggis di Kecamatan Ujung Batu Rokan Hulu. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode observasi deskriptif yaitu: mengeksplorasi dan karakterisasi tanaman manggis. Penentuan lokasi penelitian dilakukan melalui kegiatan survei pendahuluan. Informasi diperoleh dari masyarakat sekitar dan pencarian langsung ke lapangan. Pengambilan data sampel pada lokasi terpilih dilakukan secara langsung terhadap tanaman manggis. Pengisian kuisioner serta wawancara dengan masyarakat dilakukan di lokasi pengambilan sampel. Kriteria tanaman yang dijadikan sampel yaitu tanaman yang telah berada di fase generatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Karakteristik dalam morfologi tanaman manggis di Kecamatan Ujung Batu, Rokan Hulu memiliki variasi yang beragam pada karakternya dan tetap mencirikan karakter morfologi dari tanaman manggis. Tingkat keragaman morfologi tanaman manggis secara kuantitatif tergolong luas pada parameter pengamatan panjang daun, panjang putik, panjang buah, diameter buah, dan bobot buah. Tingkat kemiripan berdasarkan 14 parameter pengamatan kualitatif pada tanaman manggis di Kecamatan Ujung Batu, Rokan Hulu menyebar pada koefisien 73%. Tingkat kemiripan pada nilai koefisien 100% membentuk 9 pasang aksesi.

Abstract

Education has the most important position in improving human resources. Through education, it is expected that individuals have competence so that they can compete with others. The objectives to be achieved in this study are: 1) To determine the process of implementing picture card media in increasing children's reading interest in TK Al-Jam'iyatul Amaliyah Gerumpung, Sepit Village. 2) To determine how effective the picture card media is in increasing children's reading interest in TK Al-Jam'iyatul Amaliyah Gerumpung, Sepit Village. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with a survey research design. This research was conducted at TK Al-Jam'iyatul Amaliyah Gerumpung, Sepit Village, Keruak District, East Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara. In this study, the researcher used three data collection techniques, namely observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis technique that has been used is descriptive analysis technique with data reduction, data presentation, and verification components. The results of the study indicate that the process of implementing Picture Card Media in increasing children's reading interest in TK Al-Jam'iyatul Amaliyah Gerumpung Desa Sepit is through the following stages: 1) introduction and preparation; 2) integration in learning activities; 3) content adjustment; 4) stimulation of reading interest; 5) increasing vocabulary; 6) increasing self-confidence; 7) measurement and evaluation; 8) feedback from students; 9) further development; and 10) conclusions and reflections. This study also shows that Picture Card Media has a positive impact on increasing children's reading interest in TK Al-Jamiatul Amaliyah Gerumpung Desa Sepit. This is evident from 5 teacher respondents out of 6 teachers in the kindergarten who have a positive view of 83.33%, and from a total of 20 students who participated, there were 14 students who had a positive response of 70%. And proven by the 15 number of parents who participated in this study, there were 12 respondents 80% who had a positive view.

Abstract

Synthetic preservatives are dangerous preservatives that are prohibited for food and are declared hazardous ingredients according to the regulation of the Minister of Health (Menkes) Number. 1168/Menkes/Per/X/1999. One of the dangerous compounds that is often used is formalin. The use of formalin is rife among white tofu sellers, because formalin is considered the most effective for preserving white tofu. The purpose of this study was to determine the presence or absence of formalin content in white tofu produced by the Ujung Batu District Factory, Rokan Hulu Regency. Based on the examination of formalin tests on 7 white tofu samples that were sampled and analyzed, it showed that 3 white tofu samples at the Ujung Batu District Factory were identified as containing formalin, namely A, E and F. The samples tested showed purple final results which indicated positive if the sample turned purple. While 4 samples of white tofu, do not contain formalin, namely B, C, D and G. The tested sample showed the final result did not change color, which indicates negative. The organoleptic test assessment of both texture, aroma and color has conformity with the results of the formalin kits test conducted in the laboratory. White tofu that positively contains formalin has a very chewy texture, pungent aroma and slightly white color.

Abstract

 This study aims to determine the effectiveness of online learning. This study uses a qualitative research method with data collection techniques of interviews, observation and documentation. The subjects of the study were class B teachers and the principal of PAUD Al-Ansori Jerowaru. The data analysis technique in this study used descriptive qualitative data analysis with an interactive model from Bodgan which consists of three simultaneous activity paths: data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. As a conclusion, the researcher can conclude regarding the effectiveness of online learning during the Covid-19 pandemic in class B PAUD Al-Ansori Jerowaru, Jerowaru district, is that online learning is less effective because online learning for early childhood is like a compulsion. The advantage of online learning is that it trains students to not depend on teachers, students can seek answers to their curiosity from other parties such as parents, friends or siblings. Meanwhile, the disadvantages are uneven internet networks and expensive internet access.
