Abstract

Tujuan program ini adalah untuk meningkatkan keterampilan pengoperasian software CAM untuk Tenaga Pendidik di LPTK dan SMK di Kota Surakarta serta untuk mengetahui gambaran aktual bagaimana respon penggunaan Feature CAM sebagai alternatif software CAM di LPTK dan SMK di Kota Surakarta. Pelatihan ini dilakukan secara daring dengan menggunakan Zoom pada tanggal 15, 20, 21 dan 23 Oktober 2020. Dalam pelatihan ini terdapat 10 peserta yang terdiri dari perwakilan dari Dosen Pengampu CNC di LPTK, perwakilan Guru Pengampu CNC dan Asisten Mahasiswa. Metode pelatihan ini menggunakan teknik (1) sosialisasi penggunaan FeatureCAM kepada peserta, (2) pelaksanaan pelatihan Feature CAM untuk meningkatkan efisiensi proses pembuatan gambar 3D, (3) Refleksi yang dilakukan untuk mengevaluasi kegiatan. Hasil dari pengabdian ini menunjukkan adanya peningkatan penguasaan FeatureCAM dan gambaran aktual respon penggunaan FeatureCAM sebagai alternatif software CAM. Luaran yang menyertai kegiatan ini adalah berupa penambahan modul pelatihan sebagai panduan belajar peserta pelatihan.

Abstract

This research aims at finding out (1) quadrant position of each study program in the departement Ex Schools of Language and Arts Education (PBS) FKIP UNS using SWOT analysis method. (2) strategic planning study program of Javanese Language Eduction in the Departement of Ex Schools of Language and Arts Education (PBS) FKIP UNS development efforts study program by using the SWOT method.The results of research show that : (1) quadrant position of Education of Visual Arts Study Program and Language and Literature of Indonesia Studies Program are located in quadrant I (strength-opportunity). Javanese Education Studies Program and English Education Study Program are located in quadrant II (strength-treath). (2) Strategic planning that can be applied to the Javanese Education Study Program in the effort of developing study program using SWOT matrix that is (a) capacity building of human resources (b) making the student achievement program (mawapres) become the flagship program for the students (c) conduct a disciplined and responsible implementation of the curriculum (d) reproduce international journal publications for lecturers of Javanese Education Studies Program (e) increase the regular infrastructure maintenance (f) analyzing the budget needs to make the draft budget (g) Apply work based learning in student learning (h) Develop clear SOP organizational management study program (i) Improve communication between universities and the employment (j) improve the performance of multimedia and information teams in the study program (k) improve cooperation relationships with institutions partner (l) cooperate with the government in the regions to distribute the graduates of the study program (m) improve the quality and quantity of research programs and community service

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui sejauhmana pelaksanaan program PKL dengan mengevaluasi aspek konteks, input, proses dan produk. Latar belakang dilakukan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pelaksanaan program PKL dan mencari data yang bisa digunakan untuk kelancaran program PKL selanjutnya setelah dilakukan penelitian. Tempat untuk melakukan penelitian ini di SMK Muhammadiyah 3 Karanganyar jurusan Teknik Kendaraan Ringan kelas XII. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif evaluatif model CIPP (Context, Input, Process, Product) dengan menggunakan data kuantitatif serta kualitatif dan dokumentasi sebagai pendukung. Sampel penelitian ini diambil menggunakan teknik purposive sampling yaitu peserta didik, pembimbing industri serta guru pembimbing. Teknik pengumpulan data  menggunakan kuesioner untuk mencari data utama serta wawancara dan dokumentasi sebagai pendukung. Validitas yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah validitas logika. Teknik analisis kuesioner menggunakan teknik analisis rata-rata yang dinilai berdasarkan kriteria penilaian. Hasil evaluasi secara keseluruhan menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan program PKL berjalan dengan baik dan lancar. Pertama, evaluasi aspek konteks secara keseluruhan masuk dalam kategori baik sekali. Kedua, evaluasi aspek input secara keseluruhan masuk dalam kategori baik sekali. Ketiga, evaluasi aspek proses secara keseluruhan masuk dalam kategori baik. Keempat, evaluasi aspek produk secara keseluruhan masuk dalam kategori baik sekali.

Abstract

Developing substitution products for mining equipment parts in local industries will have a significant economic impact. In addition, it will create independence in the supply of mining components, not relying on imports. However, Ceper metal casting area is still using traditional methods. This community service aims to improve product design and skills to support the supply chain availability of consumable mining equipment parts. Designing from existing components is not easy for small industries; therefore, it needs assistance from university experts. The method used design assistance in the production of bucket-adapter consumable parts. The mechanical engineering study program team assists with three stages of the process: (1) scanning, (2) triangulation, and (3) CAD modeling. The results showed that consumable parts had been successfully submitted to an industry partner to proceed to the following stages: (4) CAM and (5) machining. The consumable parts design improves quality and independence in manufacturing mining equipment parts. The local industry appreciated this activity because a good design can improve the process of developing consumable mining equipment parts.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) mengetahui pengaruh proses Post Weld Heat Treatment (PWHT) terhadap struktur mikro pada pengelasan material paduan super berbasis nikel (Ni), (2) mengetahui pengaruh proses PWHT terhadap kekerasan pada pengelasan material paduan super berbasis Ni, (3) mengetahui PWHT yang menghasilkan struktur mikro dan kekerasan paling optimal pada pengelasan material paduan super berbasis Ni. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah pengelasan material paduan super berbasis Ni menggunakan metode Tungsten Inert Gas (TIG) dengan penambahan PWHT. Proses pengelasan TIG menggunakan variasi kuat arus sebesar 70 A, 80 A, dan 100 A. Sedangkan proses PWHT menggunakan variasi suhu yaitu 600oC, 700oC, dan 800oC. Analisis data menggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif dari hasil struktur mikro dan kekerasan. Data tersebut dianalisis menggunakan uji struktur mikro dan uji kekerasan dari hasil pengelasan material paduan super berbasis Ni menggunakan metode TIG dengan penambahan PWHT. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) struktur mikro hasil pengelasan material paduan super berbasis Ni dengan kuat arus dan perlakuan PWHT yang divariasikan terlihat berbeda-beda antara daerah las, daerah HAZ dan daerah logam induk. Pengelasan dan PWHT pada suhu tinggi menimbulkan adanya butiran matrik γ dan γ’ presipitat yang berukuran kecil, halus dan tersebar merata di permukaan material, (2) terdapat perbedaan nilai kekerasan di daerah las, daerah HAZ dan daerah logam induk pada setiap perlakuan pengelasan dengan kuat arus dan PWHT yang divariasikan. Makin tinggi kuat arus dan PWHT yang digunakan, makin seragam pula distribusi nilai kekerasan material, (3) perlakuan pengelasan dengan kuat arus sebesar 100 A dan PWHT 800oC pada material paduan super berbasis Ni adalah yang paling optimal/baik, karena mampu menyeragamkan struktur mikro dan meratakan distribusi nilai kekerasan material tersebut.Kata Kunci: kekerasan, paduan super berbasis nikel, PWHT, struktur mikro, TIG

Abstract

Vocational education has a very important role in the national education system to create a quality national workforce. One of the programs to increase the absorption of SMK graduates in industry is the existence of a partnership program between SMKs and the Business and Industrial World (DUDI). Based on 19 articles published in 2018-2022 concerning partnerships between SMKs and DUDI, several partnership models have been established, including curriculum alignment based on industry needs, teacher and student apprenticeships, guest teachers from industry, industrial visits, teaching factory assistance, testing competency certification, employee recruitment, and infrastructure support. Some of the obstacles and challenges encountered, namely the partnership program has not been implemented optimally, the work unit is not suitable, the contents of the memorandum of understanding (MoU) have not been fully realized, the form of partnership activity is unclear, lack of concern for both SMK and DUDI in implementing the partnership program, and competition between industry causes a lack of industry trust to involve students in the production process. While the opportunities that exist include the involvement of Vocational Schools in the production process through Teaching Factory, technology updates, student competency according to industry needs and the absorption of graduates by industry is increasing.

Abstract

The use of cooking oil in daily life continues to increase over time. The large use of cooking oil causes an abundance of used cooking oil (cooking oil waste) and will have negative impacts if it is not processed properly. In fact, the facts on the ground show that used cooking oil has not been widely used by the community in several areas, including the community in Punggawan Village. Based on this problem, one of the 2023 UNS KKN teams conducted a workshop on making aromatherapy candles. The aim of this workshop activity is to utilize used cooking oil waste into useful products in the Punggawan Village community. The methods used are socialization and direct practice. This activity is divided into three stages, namely: (1) planning and preparation; (2) implementation of activities; and (3) program follow-up. This planning and preparation stage requires coordination with the PKK as well as preparing the tools and materials that will be used. The activity consists of presenting material and direct practice in making aromatherapy candles. The follow-up stage of this program is that the community is able to reduce and utilize used cooking oil waste. This workshop activity was attended by 30 participants who came from PKK members in Punggawan Village, Banjarsari District, Surakarta City. The results of this activity show that there is positive feedback from participants who participated actively during the workshop. This activity is expected to provide knowledge and experience for PKK members so they can utilize used cooking oil waste to process it into products that are useful and have sales value.
